I’ve been going to this place for a couple years, but tonight was a disappointing experience. Restaurant was understaffed and we waited for a table for around 30 minutes. We got our food pretty quickly and service was great! Although, once we tasted the sashimi - we were sad to find out it was still frozen. Ended up paying for one of our sashimi orders, even though we didn’t eat it. Really sad about the experience since I’ve been coming to this spot for a couple of years now

I really love this place! The sushi is always fresh and delicious, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. It’s so close to my house, which makes it perfect for a nice walk with family or friends to enjoy some great sushi together. The atmosphere is cozy, and everything always feels relaxed and pleasant. Definitely one of my favorite neighborhood spots!

Good food, super recommend the Tuna Tartar. Service is okay. It's a decent deal for the price. Compared to the other sushi spots around the area, definitely stands out.

Found this quaint little spot as I was craving sushi for lunch! Everything was delicious and very well priced. We got gyoza, a volcano roll and a dragon roll. Seemed like most people were picking up takeout at lunch, so we had the restaurant basically to ourselves. I saved this spot so I can come back next time I’m in the area! 100% recommend!

This is a Japanese family-run place: it's cosy and extremely friendly, and reasonably priced. Chef has access to fabulous fish for sashimi and rolls. It gets busy, and they do a lot of takeout as well.

A charming sushi bar with an extensive menu and incredibly friendly service. The miso black cod was tender and packed with umami flavors, while the Deluxe Toro Don was absolutely delicious, featuring a generous selection of rich, melt-in-your-mouth fatty fish!

Found this spot at the end of a Baker Beach day <3 sushi was delicious, menu was pretty extensive and well-priced, and our server was so lovely and attentive. We’ll be back!

What a super, cozy neighborhood spot. Good service. High quality sushi. Affordable prices. My son enjoyed his avocado roll so much that he ordered another. Volcano roll, nigiri and everything else were delicious. We'll certainly be stopping back at Little Sushi Bar again soon.

Small, intimate sushi bar a block off clement street. We were sat immediately on a Saturday night. There were more children and families here than I was expecting but could be bc there was a night market close by. The fish was great and clean! No complaints :) PS: they also have vegetarian sushi options which I thought was cool

Can be taken with a grain a salt maybe since it was delivery but I've had delivery from here before & didn't have issues. I received the order in less 35ish minutes since I ordered. The delivery was 12 minutes since I did priority so I'm not sure why the food felt off like it had been made awhile ago or was left next to warm food, I got the Richmond roll and the omakase nigiri with 6 pieces. It was good but def could have been better. The sushi was slightly below room temperature but it didn't smell off or anything so I decided to go ahead & eat it. I mean... I paid a ton... the temperature made it made it hard to taste the fish. The rice felt a tad hard too which didn't help. I wish that when ordering omakase the chefs didn't give me the same fish as the roll so that's a warning if you order omakase with rolls. I'm sure if I just went to the restaurant then everything would have been more delicious so that's why I say take it with a grain of salt due to delivery. It could have also been the delivery person? Maybe they put the food next to something warm. I would probably go here again if I went in person. Wouldn't do delivery from here again.

Went out of our way to check this place out and glad we did as we were the ONLY customers due to the street construction right in front of their business. They closed CA St. in one direction. And of course, no parking either. Support locals. Quality/Quantity - Got the majority of the rolls cooked as that is my guest's preference. Naughty Kappa - Refreshing. Lion King Roll - The roll is smaller than expected, but generous salmon. Spicy Crunchy - My favorite out of all the rolls. Generous portion. Doraemon Roll - Good. Again, I expected this to be larger, see size difference compared to the Spicy Crunchy. Also available - Appetizers, donburi, udon, miso soup, side salads, desserts, daily specials, etc. They also have a vegan menu, see picture and website. Complimentary hot tea. Thank you. Atmosphere - Small local business. No business due to construction that has closed down California St. in one direction. You can see the street closure from the reflection of the window on my exterior picture of the business. Today there were plenty of table seating. Limited parking, good luck. We walked. Open 7 days a week. Service - Excellent, how could it not be since we were the only customer for lunch time...? Price - $66 + tip. Our lunch was more expensive than our dinner and my guest ordered 3 entrees + dessert for dinner; see pictures from Hong Kong Lounge. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success in the last 6 years, hoping the construction ends soon.

I had to try this cute little spot that I stumbled upon while driving in the neighborhood. It seemed like a lot of couples were there on a date. Kinda narrow closely seated tables. I ordered: Miso soup, mango avocado roll, chicken karaage, vegetable tempura, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, lion king. Everything was delicious and the service was really friendly and warm. Now parking was a bit of a challenge but we found street parking around the block. Now I do have to point out 2 things, it's not a deal breaker but could definitely make better experience. 1) the place has strong warm fish smell as soon as you get in. I couldn't stand near the entrance for long. Once you're seated you get use to it. 2) some of the rolls were falling apart on picking up. Maybe the rice wasn't sticky enough. Not sure. Again not a deal breaker. We ate everything anyway.

I've been here about 3 times in this trip to SF! The small atmosphere and high quality food and service has been such a gem! Really recommend if you want a no frills, good price, great sushi experience.

I was craving sushi and found this place on google and am so happy I did. It's literally this little sushi bar in a corner. It has a very cozy atmosphere inside and with light piano music playing through the speakers it gets a 10/10 from me for ambiance. The food was amazing, the sushi tasted so fresh and I'm already thinking of what I'm going to order again next time (spicy salmon roll & the chicken karage)! Service was excellent, they recommended some nigori for us to try and checked up on us enough times to see how we were doing.

We love Little Sushi Bar!! So close to home and so good!! Haven't had a bad roll here. My go to rolls is the 23rd Avenue..with hamachi, spicy scallop and mango; the second is the double hamachi roll..self explanatory! Tried the poke salad...lots of fresh fish with nice seasoning...the salad part could have used some dressing..but a lot of fish for an appetizer. All the nigiri are great...hamachi, albacore, salmon and uni! Been coming back as the kids like the food here too!

Little Sushi Bar is my "go to" for sushi. For a year, I'd just order via Doordash and just recently started to pick up myself. The money I save picking up myself gets an order of Hamachi Nigiri :) My favorite item is the Sake Avocado roll. Two of these rolls filled with fresh salmon and avocado usually fills me up. The service for pickup is excellent! Last night, I noted how they do a lot of to go orders. The person coordinating the food and the tickets masterfully did this as it can get really confusing if not done correctly. The restaurant seems petite as there don't appear to be a lot of tables...Thus the appropriate "Little Sushi Bar" name. I look forward to returning ;)

Only tried two rolls here but I got the naughty kappa and gundam roll! The rolls were light and fresh and the inside of the joint was dimly lit with a very nice ambiance. I love small local sushi restaurants that give a mom and pop feel. I enjoyed the way they made this place feel so cozy and all the old school music they played. The service here was so quick, definitely satisfied my sushi cravings!

Our go to neighbor sushi restaurant for take out and dine in. For appetizers we highly recommend the poke salad, gyoza, chicken karage, and hamachi kama. All the rolls are great and the classics such as the rainbow and dragon roll are our favorites. My less adventurous kids love the plain sushi roll (rice and seaweed) and plain udon (noodles and broth no green onions). Parking isn't easy close to the restaurant but I'd imagine a block away on Lake Street, Clement or Geary Street may bring you all luck.

Our favorite sushi takeout spot. It's always super easy to order takeout from them. Their staff are all super nice (they always greet our dog!) and it's a great place to dine in as well. I've always enjoyed how good their rolls taste and they have tons of options on the menu. The restaurant is fairly simple inside and it's always buzzing with people who likely live nearby.

Service, food, and ambiance are all great. This is a small space so tables get full quickly, especially on Friday evenings. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Their tempura batter is light and crispy. The tempura here is my favorite out of any other restaurant. Staff are super attentive and very friendly. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Little Sushi Bar is my most ordered on the Uber Eats app and is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the Richmond of San Francisco. I probably order from this spot or go in person 20+ times per year. I go there in person when I can and I enjoy taking people who haven't eaten there before. The sushi is fresh, the service is always good, quick, and everyone is helpful and kind. This restaurant is clean and everything is packaged sustainably. The bathroom is hidden in the back. Overall a small but wonderful sushi restaurant.

8.5/10 I've tried this place once, for delivery, and definitely want to order again/go in-person. Ironically, my order was not for sushi. Instead, I got the beef udon and chicken karage, both of which were very good. I appreciated the udon being delivered with the broth on the side, and the beef was well-seasoned. The udon had a pleasant amount of chew. Overall, the udon was a tad on the salty side, though. The chicken karage was really good, one of the better ones I've had. Good flavor and still very crispy despite the delivery journey. My friend ordered a variety of sushi - a spicy tuna, california, and negi toro roll all of which he seemed to enjoy. The sushi rolls are really big. Overall, great food, would try again.

Delicious and fresh! I got the tuna mango roll, double hamachi roll, and richmond roll. The fish portions in the rolls are generous. I ordered takeout and my order was prepared quickly. I definitely want to try their other items.

We just stopped by and tried this place out this afternoon on a whim. We ordered the dragon roll, rainbow roll, diamond roll, and uni nigiri to go; and I just have one word--perfection. Everything was so fresh and delicious and beautiful. The uni was listed as a special and it has to be the best uni I can remember having. Compliments to the itamae for sure. This restaurant is a real gem and I can't wait to go back. If they ever get outdoor seating I might have to come here several times a week. I would post a photo but the fish was delicious we lost ourselves in the experience and didn't think to take one.

I was really excited to try this place since there's amazing reviews on yelp as well as high ratings on DoorDash. I had some extreme pregnancy cravings for sushi which is sooooo painstakingly heartbreaking since I can't have my beloved raw fish. I decided to try some cooked rolls that I've eaten and liked before. I ordered: Dragon roll (shrimp tempura/avo/eel), lion king roll (cali roll with baked salmon), and spider roll (fried soft shell crab). The food arrived promptly but didn't include any utensils/napkins as requested. I love a good Lion King roll (my fave is sushi house in Alameda) and this one really fell short for me. The salmon was extremely over baked and hard and there was no sauce to complement it. The dragon roll and spider roll was pretty tasty and I would definitely order those again if I come back. Nothing really stands out and makes this place a "must try" spot. I'll keep trying to find my go-to sushi spot in the bay!

Limited indoor dining space due to social distancing right now but it's quite nice. Everyone in their own mini parties, nice personal space that won't bother the table next to you. They are some busy bees with their takeout orders, but that's ok. Just order a bottle of sake and beer and take it slow. Ordered some starters: edamame and karaage - classics. Oh yeah, also ordered "the spoons". Not sure what it was call on the menu (if it's on there...), but the chef know what I mean :) Not sure if it was the appetizers or not but the Omakase was quite filling. (Or maybe it was the beer -thinking emoji-) Also ordered some rolls after. Very nonchalant vibes just kicking it with friends & the night just zooms by. Friendly staffs with frequent check-ins & water refills. Shoutout to my friend that didn't tell me about that huge a** spider on the corner of the restroom JUST so I can use it and not to freak out about it during (but afterwards) .__ . Totally didn't feel violated. -eyeroll-

My family and I love this sushi restaurant for dine in and uber eats dine outs. Whether you are eating in or out, the food and the quality of the food is always consistent. The fish is always fresh. The rolls are always tasty and the poritions are always generous. My husband loves their sushi burritos and the double hamachi roll. I love their spicy crunchy roll and all of their salads are amazing. Service is always great. You can't go wrong here!

I've been coming here for a while and decided I'd do a review. The sushi here is surprisingly good - it's opposite Pearl 6106, which is also a great restaurant, but little sushi bar is lower profile while serving great food. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some good sushi to eat. Fresh and tasty!

Moved in a few months ago next to this spot and finally gave it a try since it had good reviews. My partner and I got four rolls and they were all very good and came out pretty quickly. Definitely will be coming back whenever I'm in the mood for sushi and recommend to anyone who is trying to find a spot for sushi with a great value. Rolls and thoughts below: - Gundam Roll: I liked how light this one was despite having a ton of flavor. I'd rank this one number 2 in what we ordered. - Double Hamachi Roll: This one was my favorite! Although it's very simple, the quality of the fish was great and this roll tasted so fresh. - Volcano Roll: This one was a classic shrimp tempura style roll with some spicy tuna added to it. It was good but nothing stood out specifically about this one. - The Flash Roll: This one was very unique and had great flavor. Because it was a fried roll, the spicy tuna in the roll was actually fully cooked, which I've never experienced before. I thought it was tasty, but I'm more of a fresh sushi gal, so ranking this at number 3. Again, definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for a sushi spot that's good quality, quick, and tasty. I didn't give this place 5 stars mainly because there wasn't anything that stood out a ton from other sushi spots, but still thought it was a great restaurant to add to the list of places to put into the rotation.

I finally decided to try this place after walking by it all the time. It did not disappoint! It was so good, I wish I had discovered it earlier. The Gundam Roll and the salmon don are my fav and I will be returning soon. Good service and definitely recommend to anyone who lives in the area :) not pictured is the chicken karaage which I highly recommend as well!

Tried this spot via takeout a bit ago, I'm late with lots of my reviews. Enjoyed the black miso cod the most. The sashimi was okay, I did enjoy the sake toro.

Best casual sushi in SF. Love the takeout and dining in. Staff is friendly, service is quick and prices are reasonable.

The sashimi tasted fresh. The rolls are good. I wasn't a big fan of the salmon skin salad, but everything else was nice.

Craving sushi, I automatically went to Yelp! I checked a few places before deciding on Little Sushi Bar. Parking was easy at around 5-6pm on a Wednesday night. It's a cozy restaurant with about 12-15 tables. It wasn't a full house but we heard the phone ringing and a bunch of people picking up orders, so they were busy. We asked for green tea and they gave us a teapot which was nice. They do charge for tea ($2). I can usually drink a whole pot myself! We decided on 2 rolls, Snow White roll and the volcano roll. We also shared a sashimi plate A which was blue fin tuna, hamachi, salmon and albacore. All tasted fresh and they melted in my mouth! I especially enjoyed the blue fin and salmon. I wanted to try the miso black cod as well since I had read it was buttery and soft. People were right about that! It's very good, though I felt it was quite pricy for a tiny piece of fish. The spicy walu was ok. It didn't really stand out compared to the rest of our dishes. This restaurant has high quality fresh fish. As with all Japanese restaurants, it can be pretty expensive. We only eat sushi and sashimi occasionally so this was a special treat! We definitely be back when we want to treat ourselves again.

Fresh fish and good service. Slight delay in service because they seem to operate with maybe two servers and they're very busy.

I ordered through Uber Eats, so maybe it's better in person, but what I got was not fresh. The tuna had a slimy coating and had a strong fish odor. The other nigiri was the same with less of an odor, but slimy. Uber Eats wouldn't refund me because the only option was "I didn't like the taste." Definitely don't order for delivery.

The sushi is great...please be mindful of ordering the cod. its a very small portion simular to an appetizer for one small child. My family enjoyed the food.

Love this little spot! Excellent food and great service if you're eating in, but since the space is small it's also great to take to-go! They're friendly and the sushi is high-quality and reasonably priced.

We have been ordering sushi from here regularly and it's been a real treat. The quality of fish is high and there's something for everyone to enjoy at this establishment. For cooked fish, we are a fan of both their miso black cod and hamachi kama (collar/cheek). For sashimi or nigiri, it's hard to go wrong with salmon (especially the seared belly!), hamachi, and their seasonal items. For fusion-y rolls or sushirrito, LSB also has you covered! I've been into all things soy paper recently, such as their Spicy Crunchy Roll. Highly recommend!

Ordered takeout from this place last night after coming back from baker beach! It was super quick and easy to order through their website and it said around 30 minutes for it to be done. I ended up getting the chicken karaage which was very tasty!! I also got the Alamo and ahi sushi burrito! This was amazingggggg! The fish melted in my mouth and it was sooo tasty! I love the garnishes that came with it and it tasted very fresh too! So filling and it's basically the same price as a roll so I thought it was very much worth it lol will be going back to try other things (:

Little Sushi Bar is a small, cute, place that's great for dates or small outings with friends. My husband and I enjoy going here because it's close to home and we like to support local businesses. Service this time around was great. Our server was quick and efficient - it was also at around 5pm so it wasn't as busy compared to peak dinner time. In this particular visit, we were really hungry and wanted to have a feast. This was way more than enough for 2 people, but we managed to finish everything. I highly suggest getting the Salmon Lover Combination if you're a salmon fan. It's definitely perfect for one person. If you're sharing amongst 2-3 people, I suggest getting at least one roll to go with this. Another great add on to this combo is getting the Blue Fin Tuna Lover. It's similar to the salmon combination but with tuna instead. What's nice is that these combinations come with miso soup and a salad so if you get both then you and your partner both get soup and salad! Servings are pretty generous so keep that in mind. We also got 2 rolls: - Volcano Roll: Overall, it's a pretty solid roll. The spicy tuna is pretty spicy surprisingly. - Lion King Roll: This was our least favorite dish of the evening. For some reason we believed it lacked flavor (the baked salmon didn't have any seasoning or glaze) even though there was sauce and masago on top. We were bummed because it looked really good. In the past, we got the spicy scallop roll. Definitely recommend that if you enjoy scallop. Overall, it's a solid local spot.

Sooo good. I ordered so many items and they were all so fresh tasting. I love hotate and theirs did not disappoint. Having a hard time remembering what I ordered but the rolls were decent sized and I ate my whole to go platter. I bet it tastes even better when dining in!

Since we've moved to the Richmond, we've ordered from Sakesan - good fish, good reviews...but tonight I decided to mix it up. In one delivery app I put my order for Sakesan, in another delivery app I put my order for Little Sushi. LS was at least $20 cheaper....wasn't expecting too much of a difference. WELL, little sushi gives BIGGER nigiri pieces for LESS and the tempura arrives still crispy!! (I honestly didn't hold it against Sakesan in the past bc I figured delivering something fried is tricky...but LS proved me wrong - and LS is farther from us than Sakesan is). I've been converted to a Little Sushi fan!

I really wanted to try and like this new sushi spot, so we ordered 2 $25 chirashi bowls. However, while each bowl is supposed to come with 12 different sashimi pieces, one arrived with 10 pieces, and the other with 9. One of these pieces was of a smoked fish (which I wouldn't categorize as sashimi). All in all, some of the pieces were good, but many of them were pretty meh/not that good. I wouldn't order from here again, given the choice.

It's a cute name, and though it's not really very massive, I wouldn't call this the smallest little sushi bar in SF. It's not even the smallest one in the Richmond. But it's cute, and I hope it stays around on this little corner spot, where others have tried. We peeped this spot last November but just got around to giving it a go. It was a Friday night and we go there quite late, so we were seated right away. They're not giving the stuff away, and I'm always blown away by how much even simple sashimi or nigiri costs, it's still a little more reasonable than others in the neighborhood. I was feeling pretty basic so I got two rolls (rainbow and double hamachi) and seaweed salad. We also ordered the sushi dinner which is a decent deal with several pieces of nigiri and a choice of spicy tuna or California roll. The seaweed salad was nice, and both rolls were good. The quality of fish was high, but they do seem to be in the mayo crowd here which just doesn't sit well with me when it comes to sushi.

I love sushi and I'm pretty pick about eating raw fish so the sushi has to be excellent for me to eat it and I love watching it made so I took a seat at the bar so I could do just that I followed past reviewers suggestion and started with the Poke Salad which in itself is a huge portion on seafood atop greasy greens. Second i had an order of edamame. As edamame goes it was edamame. Next I started my sushi extravaganza with a: 49er roll(salmon,avocado,lemon,tobiko,and ships leaf) Then I tried a: Spicy yellowtail Roll(Yellowtail,avocado,spicy aioli) Next I tried a: Naughty Kappa(salmon,albacore,wrapped in cucumber,w/ponzu sauce)OMG!!! a must try As if those weren't enough I continued so next I had the Chef's favorite: Gundam Roll(salmon,avocado,albacore,onion,tobiko,scallion,spicy aioli) after eating it I know why it is his favorite. Then I finished with a: Richmond (Ocean Trout,tuna,mango,Yusuf sauce)excellent. I would have continued eating my way through the menu but thought it best to save something for my next visit. All total before tip it was $77.00 which is darn cheap at twice the price for the amount of sushi I consumed and considering I'm in San Francisco where even McDonalds cost twice as much as anywhere else that is an excellent price. The place was not super busy but I saw a good crowd of people come and go while I ate and wrote this review. If you are in Inner Richmond district of San Francisco you should definitely give this place a look if you are hungry for good Surat an excellent price.

My go to sushi spot. They consistently are busy and with good reason. They have really fresh fish! The tuna (blue fin) sashimi is so buttery and fresh! I also like the spicy tuna roll which can be pretty spicy, which is the mixed bits of tuna with spices (not a chunk of tuna with spices on top). Although they don't have a bunch of "crazy" rolls I enjoyed the volcano roll but that's because I clearly like tuna. I've tried the scallop roll but didn't care for it too much. I recently ordered the beef udon and was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful the beef pieces were. Usually udon is pretty plain but they use fatty beef pieces with carmelized onions to give the soup some flavor. The chirashi was hit or miss. The first time I ordered it to go it was phenomenal with great, buttery cuts. The second time it was kind of meh and I didn't finish it. This is the gamble with chirashi but I do trust the fish here. I have eaten dine-in a few times and service is fast and friendly. Parking can be tricky here as it's across the street from Pizza 21 and Pearl. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a new local sushi spot.
