The restaurant itself is beautiful with a great atmosphere, good vibes, and very reasonable prices. The food was delicious, and our waitress, manager, and the rest of the staff (other than security) were welcoming and professional. Unfortunately, the security experience really brought the mood down. We were only in the area briefly while waiting for my daughter’s concert to finish and decided to try the restaurant after checking the website and reviews. The website states that the dress code only applies after 7pm on Friday and Saturday. We went on a Sunday, but my son and I were almost denied entry because we had on Crocs. Security made a big deal about the shoes and we stood out there for 5-10 min just waiting because of the shoes (there was no line) After I pointed out the policy, security checked with the manager and then let us in. My sister also had her Stanley cup with water because it was hot outside, and the security guard was extremely rude and snotty about it, saying “you can’t bring that in here, y’all must not go out much.” He then made her leave it at the front door. That comment felt unnecessary and unprofessional, and it took away from the excitement we had walking in. We mentioned the situation casually to our waitress, and without us even asking, the manager came to our table to personally apologize. That gesture meant a lot, and it showed that management truly cares about their customers. Overall, the food and vibes were excellent, but the security staff needs more professionalism and consistency with following the restaurant’s actual policies. Parking is also tough, so be prepared to use valet (around $30). If the security experience matched the quality of the food and staff, this would have been an easy 5-star review.

Google
Food was delicious (albeit not hot) so I'll give 4 stars. And the atmosphere was amazing. The staff was very unfriendly I guess bc my sister and I are Muslim. We sat there in am empty restaurants at the smallest table they had until I just got fed up and moved myself. I'll attach some photos so you can see that is actually beautiful. But they only want Spanish people in their spot 🙄 of the owner or manager disagrees then by all means invite us back. We spent $140 for cold food. And weak drinks! This is my honest respectful review!

Had a wonderful time at this Mexican place! The cocktails were great, and the chicken tacos were absolutely amazing. The service was friendly and attentive, and the place had a lovely Mexican vibe. Overall, a fantastic experience — would definitely visit again! 🌮🍹

Beautifully decorated spot with good food but impersonal service. My wife and I visited Little Tijuana for an early dinner in May 2025. The moment we walked in, we were struck by the restaurant’s beautiful, artistic decor, which instantly set the tone for a pleasant dining experience. The overall experience was mixed though. Most of the food ordered was excellent with a couple of exceptions. The drinks were flavorful, but noticeably diluted. Service was efficient but impersonal. Everything arrived correctly and politely, yet we never felt truly cared for - no one stopped by to ask if we liked the food or drinks, no smile, no friendly chat. We can recommend Little Tijuana for its ambiance, décor, and solid food — just don’t expect much beyond what's served at your table. Food ordered Guacamole Trio - three types of guacamole to try and all three were absolutely tasteless :( Mexican Fajita - excellent. Flavorful and sizzling. Lamb Barbacoa (lamb shank) - excellent. Melting in the mouth.

Google
Must try🍽️ Tijuana Burrito ( Veg) (limited Veg options, but the burrito tasted so so good. It was a lot of veggies with fresh sour cream was m and the habanero sauce) The presentation and ambiance was lit. The music was so so loud!! But the vibe was great. Perfect was a bigger party if you want to have fun and have amazing food. The DJ seemed chill and the mixes were really good. Gratuity is included and the prices are kinda high. Overall worth it!!

Google
So awesome place to chill and vibe, the best part is getting to chose your vibe settings here. They have three different levels. The lounge , you dance and have drinks, the dinning room where the music is at its mid and the rooftop, super elegant and that’s where I was loved it! Had a great time🫶 the owner did such a great job and he made us feel so welcomed that’s really what made me want to stay cause I don’t like being in Newark. The only thing I did not like was the valet parking. I get the $25 to park but what threw me off is that the guy didn’t let me enter the restaurant from the parking lot and made me walk around to the front. But when I came back for my car I saw he let someone else go through the back. So idk if maybe she’s also the owner prob. Idk. But I’d hope if they could change that because I had heals on and it was super dark and a bit of walk to go to the front.

My friend and I stumbled across this place while on vacation on The Union Presents “Blackout” open mic night, and didn’t realize how lucky we got! The entertainment was amazing, the atmosphere was incredible, the food was on point, the drinks were strong and the service was the best I’ve ever experienced. To our waitress, I wish we’d gotten your name, you made our night and thank you for the recommendation for other places after you closed. We will definitely be coming back!!

AMAZING, we held an office party here and it was fabulous. The food tasted delicious and the is beautiful. The manager Larry answered all our questions and offered great menu options (Including for vegetarians).

Yelp
Went towards the end of brunch so we had to order from their regular menu which was fine. Good service. Wasn't packed. Good music. The food and drinks were overall good. The food was absolutely tasty and I would return just for that. Drinks were decent. Big space. Brunch is for all ages. Parking isn't the easiest but we found street parking not too far away.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday evening and to my surprise it was fairly empty. This was my second time there. I came when they first open years ago. I was lucky enough to find parking up the street after being informed that my car would be towed if parked across the street at at the bank. We were seated in the side dining area with only about 2 other people there. I ordered the fajita, steak medium. When it came out, it felt more medium well and the steak had a grayish color to it. the white rice that accompanied the fajita was good. We asked for hot sauce and they provided it, but what we didnt know, it would cost us extra. Our drinks were good and the ambiance was the best part of the restaurant.

Yelp
Tonight my family and I came into Little Tijuana. The place is cute, bright, and the décor is stunning. Our server/host/mixologist/birthday singer was Iyana--and wow, she was working it. She cleared tables, mixed drinks, took care of guests, and did it all with an amazing attitude. I truly HOPE she's treated well, because she absolutely made our night. That being said, as someone with over 20 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry, I have to say this was a huge management fail. How do you have one young woman running the entire floor on a Friday night? At one point she was even interrupted to fetch bathroom tissue. Drinks were great, service was fantastic thanks to Iyana, but this is not sustainable. If you're charging $12-$16 for margaritas and cocktails on the Passaic strip, management should prioritize supporting their staff first. Guests see when employees are overworked and undervalued, and it doesn't leave a good impression. Iyana held it down and made our experience memorable, but unfortunately, I won't be returning unless I see that the staff is being properly supported. Take care of your team--your guests and your business will thank you. ____________________________________________ Esta noche mi familia y yo fuimos a Little Tijuana.

Yelp
Overpriced bland food, super weak $20 drinks and $14 for a shot! Decor is lovely and service was pleasant on a quiet Sunday evening. Parking is a nightmare in that area. I would not go out of my way to go back there.

Yelp
Thursday night is music on the The Rooftop and Happy Hour from 4PM-7PM! The food was really good and so was the service. Get the Elote (grilled corn) and shrimp tostadas; you'll love them!!!

Yelp
We had a wonderful date night here. Vibes are fun, service is friendly if a little slow. Salad in a taco bowl was the best thing we ordered. Wish they made their own chips. We'll probably come back for drinks and to check out the nightclub.

Yelp
This place was top notch. I don't give 5 easily, but Little Tijuana was just that. The atmosphere was out a movie. Cool lounge/restaurant place with indoor and outdoor seating/hookahs/bars/dance floors, etc. a great place to go out to celebrate with friends or just a good night out. And it's open til 3am for those who want a really late night... or should I say early.

Yelp
Excellent venue with multiple purpose rooms nestled in the Lincoln Park area of Newark downtown. Despite torrential rain, Little Tijuana provided a refuge with decor that highlighted Spanish culture. Security located at the entrance was polite and efficient to make sure no outside drinks were brought in while providing a safe environment. Tables were located on both sides of the main entrance providing a large walkway to the rear event space. Additional tables were available with seating in rear near DJ stage. A side room en route led to restrooms, a bar and another large lounge area that later hosted a second party skewed to younger crowd with own DJ. The main area was hosting an event with celebrity DJ Natasha Diggs featuring Actor/DJ Deon Cole and a few others. The energy was great and service was consistent with great food and drink selections. Dancing extended past the designated dance floor to the restaurant area which had a bar near the DJ area. The food was good overall; event was the main draw, but would return for ambience. 4 stars given due to restrictions on getting tables & inefficient laptop menu ordering that added a few challenges. Worth a return visit when in town again.

Yelp
Came here for HH with my sister, due to this place being close to the airport to catch my flight afterwards. I gave it three stars over all due to; 1 the parking. For starters the parking is in an awkward spot, and there is no signs directing you to where it is which is behind the restaurant on a side street with the restaurant being on the main street. I drove around 4-5 times trying to figure it out, luckily my sister saw me and told me where it was. 2. The service was meh, our server seemed to be in a rush and overwhelmed. It was just her taking tablets in the bar area. 3. The food was ok and so were the drinks nothing special. The food was lukewarm warm and one of my drinks was made wrong. I didn't send it back nor did I make the server aware of my issues due to me being pressed for time. For food we ordered the Elote Corn Ribs 10/10, Birria Nachos 5/10, last but not least the Street Fries 10/10. These were my favorite and were really good, I highly recommend getting these. My sister insists I give this place another chance especially on the weekends. Were I can see how it's fully operated. I believe in second chances so I will next time I'm in town.

Yelp
I went here for brunch so I can only comment on the brunch menu. I went with the avocado toast with a sunny side up egg on top and a side salad. My date went with a classic BLT sandwich with a side of fries. The aesthetics of the restaurant is cute and quaint, especially with the flowers hanging from the ceiling. It was a quiet Saturday and we were the only customers at the time. The service was good.

Yelp
Overall, place is OK, depends on what you are looking for. We went for Brunch on a very rainy day, so we practically had the place to ourselves. The DJ was solid and had us entertained. The drinks weren't strong but they kept coming, throughout the allotted brunch time, so can't complain about that. The food servings were huge, which was great. I had the Beef Quesadillas w/ mole and they were very rich and flavorful but definitely an acquired taste. Everyone else also raved about their food and serving size. The place had a cute vibe, very post me on the gram or TikTok, which was obviously the point. There was a lot of space and it definitely must turn into a club at night time. Personally, won't return unless there's an event for me to go to but that's just because this isn't my style of restaurant anymore.

Manuel E.

Yelp
Ambience was good. Food was ok not great. Service initially was ok but a follow up order took too long. Order a Bosses drink and wasn't served until I followed up almost half an hour later. And it tasted like lime juice with ice, no hint of any tequila at all. For a $19 cocktail in a place that advertised itself as a place for margaritas, it's downright disappointing. Either they don't know how to create cocktails, or I got served juice.

Yelp
Diamond in the rough for sure Fabulous decor Happy hour 4-7 Good drinks Affordable prices Pretty good hookah Friendly service Has a roof top and it's a very spacious bar/restaurant The birria nachos are very good The guacamole was very tasty The street fries were a flop The food needs more work it sorted of tasted luke warm Needs be hotter and they should have more options the menu is a little limited We ordered the Al pastor tacos and the meat didn't look appealing But overall great time.
google avatar

Deyla M.

Yelp
Service is not good at all. Because the gratuity is added I guess they don't feel the need to service people in a timely fashion. The atmosphere itself is nice, but the service lacks for certain clientele. The food was just ok. Nothing I'd return for. The chips for our chips and queso were mostly crumbs. The elote was one ear of corn cut into strips. I have to repeat that the service was not good, and the server seemed to favor larger parties over just two dining in.
google avatar

Yelp
Quite the place! I brought a large group for dinner here recently. We were a bit surprised that the place was empty on a weeknight but it filled up more towards the end. The drinks were very interesting and good, but it was a shame that the dry ice one was unavailable that night. The portion sizes were good and the food was decent. They have enough vegetarian options and accommodated my request to have beyond or impossible meat put into their quesadilla. Everyone else's food was alright, and better than expected. However the burritos were quite heavy on the rice. I would recommend ubering here as I'm not sure how parking works. The waiter we had was extremely nice though! I'd come here again, but understand that this is not my top Mexican place. However it does get the job done Also it seems like they have a club? Interesting!

Yelp
Had the best time here, really fun and tasty cocktails, guac and tacos are on point and overall it was really great atmosphere. The music was lively and service from Iyana behind the bar really made the experience even more fun. Can't wait to return and try more off the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here with my friends when it's a bar/club at night, but this was my first time trying the bottomless brunch. It was a fun environment, especially since I went with a big group of friends. I ordered the Tijuana steak and eggs, which were just okay. The portion of steak was very small, and the chilaquiles were kinda soggy. But I didn't expect much from the food in the first place, so I was satisfied with what I got. The server was also good about refilling mimosas. Overall, it's a nice brunch vibe, but the food is very average.
google avatar

Shami L.

Yelp
Food here was good, well flavored, generous portions & properly seasoned. The atmosphere is lively, colorful & welcoming. Ordered during the week & service was fast. Nightclub, rooftop, restaurant & bar all in one! Definitely give it a try! On a busy street & didn't see a parking lot, that's my only qualm
google avatar

Yelp
Birthday brunch was lit . We had an amazing time. Food was good & music was great. The staff were awesome

Jasmine F.

Yelp
I had a very unsettling experience here that I believe involved racial profiling. My partner and I paid our bill in cash, and as we were getting in our car, the waitress and a security guard followed us outside. We rolled the window down, and the waitress said she was "missing money." I turned to my partner, knowing he had counted the cash multiple times, including the automatic gratuity. She then counted it right there in front of us...and everything was correct. She simply said "oh" and they walked away. No apology, no acknowledgment that they were wrong. It was embarrassing, humiliating, and unnecessary. She should've counted the money before being accusatory. We should have been able to enjoy our meal and leave without being followed and accused of something we didn't do. This kind of treatment leaves a bad taste, no matter how good the food or drinks were.

Frances R.

Yelp
I went to Little Tijuana with my family this past weekend. Great food with Vegetarian options and excellent service as well. Staff were very attentive. Get the pitcher of Red sangria! We will be back!

Yelp
To celebrate my friends birthday, we came here. All the drinks we got were yummy and some came in cool cups! They even put a whole display in when the birthday girls drink came around. Later that night they got the huge birthday sign out for her when we took shots. The waiter was very nice, helpful, and patient with our big group. The food was great. The chips were so light and fluffy I could have eaten them all night and been happy. One thing to point out is I did find a rogue tinfoil piece in the chip basket. The cauliflower tacos were delicious with an Asian taste with Mexican style. The churros also need a mention as they hit the spot to end the night! They have several different rooms in the restaurant. We sat in the dining area but there is a more lighted bar/hookah lounge and a club type seating area. There was not a lot of people at the place when we ate dinner here but from the vibe of the place you could not tell. A thing to note about the bathroom is the womans stalls did not lock at all. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Little Tijuana! For parking, we used the valet in the capital one bank parking lot ($25).

Yelp
Went here for a girls' night, on a Tuesday evening. It's a huge space, beautifully decorated. Definitely took me to another place, which is always nice in places you drink and eat. Things we ordered and they didn't have: Sunset on tijuana El payaso Anything for selena Tijuana punch Tacos al pastor Shrimp tostadas We obviously were very bummed, especially about the tacos :-( We had a great attentive server. I think her name was Karen (that was the name on our bill), she had big blonde braids. She was really sweet and felt really bad about the items we ordered which were not available. She checked on us a lot, which was nice, until the end when it was getting really busy and we did wait a while for our check. But it didn't look like they had a lot of people working on the floor so I won't fault her for this. The drinks we did get were very tasty: Besitos, Mijita, there was another I forget the name. Since it's a lounge/club, I think maybe the drinks were not as strong. Lot of ice in the drinks. Would like a little more with the price being spent haha but either way the drinks were yummy. We were originally served chips and dipping sauce. I am not sure what the sauce was... ,maybe a chipotle? However, that was delicious! We ordered the Queso Fundido and added chorizo (of course) and it was good. The cheese stayed nice and melted for a looong time. Nice and hot... what wasn't nice and hot was the Mexican shrimp we ordered. It was hardly warm. The sauce on it was really good and the shrimps were nice and chunky though! We also ordered a side of sweet plantains. They were actually sweet! Good on their own but my friend did ask for a side of crema and our server said they had Mexican crema, which was fine. When we got the sauce though, to me, it tasted like they put oregano or thyme in it... maybe rosemary??? Idk, didn't taste like the Mexican crema I am used to haha. Also, they do charge extra for side sauces, just mentioning. I'm sure the club part of it is a lot of fun, we didn't see any of that since it was a Tuesday. Parking, I can't imagine finding. I parked in some lot nearby which was $20 by the time I got back to the car. I would expect a pricey night haha. Nice place though!

Yelp
The best time to go is on Tuesday. They have many specials. The atmosphere is great. The service is excellent. Great place for selfies.

Yelp
I was unaware that this place has become popular due to social media, and I can clearly see why. One could capture some of their best social media photos here... and that's about it. In my opinion, it is mediocre at best. My husband and I were very hungry on a Friday evening. We Ubered to this place and I was upset that I had forgot my I.D. at the hotel. I approached one of the several security guards and asked if they would accept a picture of my I.D and he said yes. Red flag #1 should have been that he didn't even look at the I.D at all. He let us in and informed us to check-in with the rep at the front. We were informed that they were charging $20 per person to get in. Yes, $20 to get into a restaurant, smh. We paid only because we were very hungry, we had already Ubered there, and they allowed me in without my I.D. Food: the menu makes it sound the most pleasing, but it's average. Lacks seasoning. We both ordered tacos, and we both felt we've had better at a less expensive rate. Service: mediocre. My husband and I were served our drinks in plastic cups. Before getting a second drink, I noticed that the menu stated that my drink, Tijuana punch, should come with a glow in the dark straw. I mentioned something to our waiter about it, and he stated that they stopped serving drinks in glass with all the fun stuff at a certain time. I commented that I felt like I was paying for an 'experience' that I wasn't getting. He returned with our second round of drinks, and my drink was as the menu described the second time around. It would have been nice if he simply served the drink, but as he was handing it over, he said 'I had the bartender make it this way so you can stop complaining'. Value: not enough bang for my buck, in the least bit. After paying $40 just to get in, I would expect a lot more for the price we ended up paying. Portions weren't the best. Food didn't seemed to be served hot. The salsa and chips provided seemed to come out of someone's carry out order. Ambiance: We primarily stayed in the restaurant area. As stated before, the decor is very aesthetically pleasing, thus this is a good spot for pics. There is seemingly a club inside and a rooftop bar, in addition to the restaurant. Music can be very loud, so if you're looking for a true restaurant vibe, this isn't it. Overall, this restaurant needs to make a decision- is this place a restaurant? Club? Lounge? If people are paying for access to all the above, though they only want food, that should be clear. The taste of the food and drinks can drastically be improved. Location: right outside of NY in Newark, New Jersey. No private parking- only street parking. There is also their version of 'valet parking' which is basically you just paying for a spot and parking yourself. Wouldn't be mad if I never returned...

Yelp
Shrimp tacos were okay, but lacked bold flavor. The tortilla was soft and easy to eat. The tangy sauce was interesting. Staff were nice and welcoming. Not bad, just not exciting

Alex R.

Yelp
Decent food, absolutely horrible service. We waited 15 minutes just for the waiter to bring us water, and once he took our order he never came to our table again. I had to physically call him over twice because he would be at the table next to me but completely ignore our table. And when it came time to pay of course he was quick. Would give this place 0 stars if I could.

Yelp
Awesome vibe. Came in with reservations on a Saturday. We were seated promptly. We ordered shrimp tacos and shrimp enchiladas; replaced chicken with shrimp. For appetizers we had the shrimp tostadas and flan for dessert. Everything was delicious and flavorful. I'm pescatarian. There are plenty of options for non meat eaters. The drinks were also delicious. Our waitress was very pleasant. There was music playing in the background and the ambience is very lively. I'll be back for brunch and night vibes with friends or while on a date.

Caroline C.

Yelp
Hey!This is a hidden gem in New Jersey as it's in an area that's a little out of the main areas but it's super authentic Latin American. Great tacos and really good drinks. Bartender 'Iyana' is amazing!! She's personable and sweet and went above and beyond to make me comfortable! Ambience was chill and happy relaxing vibe!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is trendy and busy. It's for groups - celebrations & parties. It has all the instagrammable props and decorum you'll need for your pics. It's high energy, fast paced (as in spend money or keep it moving, lol) The food is nothing to talk about - the food is the least attended to. You are paying for energy, pictures, antics and music. This was a pricey experience - I suggest checking the website and reviews to find if this is your vibe before rolling up. Again, the food and drinks (mimosas 85% orange juice) are of no satisfaction - in portion size, presentation or flavor. This place serves another purpose to those interested.

Yelp
Let's start with the service. My server was Jaida and her spirit and energy were so inviting and refreshing. Sundays are my days to chill and recover and she made it easy to do so. The manager, Frank, was also graceful and amazing. I had a food allergy and they wasted ZERO time removing it from my table and bringing me a new plate of food. THAT is what I like spending my hard earned coin on!!! Next: the food. I ordered the chicken and waffles and to my surprise it was very tasty!! The waffles were perfect and the chicken was fried hard and the seasoning was perfect. The eggs were under-seasoned but fluffy and delicious so that was perfectly fine. I ordered unlimited mimosas for 1.5 hours plus an entree and the total was $45 which is an excellent deal. I also ordered the Mijta- YALL. The drink is strong AND delicious. The ambiance: the DJ was very in tune with whatever the audience wanted. He was really spinning. The decoration was perfect. And the space is HUGE! I like that cuz I be having hot flashes so I don't want people all up on me lol. I asked for a tour of the entire space and it was given!! Thank you so much for such an amazing and chill experience. I'll be back with my people, but this is a perfect place to take yourself on a self care day date. Good food, good drinks, and good music. This is 100% a win.

Yelp
Nice place but they add an 18% tip onto the bill and the chips were SIGGY !!! Gave most if the meal to my dogs. This cost over $100 buck and bare any meat.
google avatar

Alessandra F.

Yelp
Definitely a fun spot to listen to music, celebrate a special event, and smoke some hookah. Sadly, the drinks and food were overpriced and unflavored. The food tasted like it was made in advance and heated up. The meat was tasteless and somewhat dry. The cocktails tasted like it had no liquor and was pricey. It feels as though you are paying for the ambience rather than the quality of food. The service, though, was great!

Yelp
I came here at 1pm on a Sunday for brunch with friends. The ambience is very nice, they have beautiful decor and flowers all over! Great for photos. I went dressed casual but most people are dressed up very nice. DJ was there he started around 2pm. They offer hookah and alcoholic drinks. The food! I enjoyed every bite of mine I had the huevos rancheros which was amazing I got it with an extra side of salsa verde which was great. I tried my friends French toast which was amazing! It was so nice and fluffy. The waffles were eh, they looked and tasted more like pancake consistency. My friend said her quesadilla was good too. The service was good, it was fast! I had a table of 5 which included gratuity not sure if that's a standard for them no matter what size table. They have bottomless options which everyone at the table would have to do - different packages. We also were able to make reservations so that was good because it seems like it can get packed on the weekend but it wasn't packed when we were there. Oh and also! Parking really hard to find! They offer valet parking for $20 right behind the establishment - although we didn't valet we parked ourselves and we were able to pay that inside (still $20) That's all folks. Good food, good time def worth a try.

Yelp
Want a great spot with dope vibes head here to get some seriously good margaritas. This spot isn't cheap but it's also not crazy expensive. The service is good and food is pretty on point. But wait- I really wanted to gatekeep this but I will share it. The crispy shrimp tacos are OFFFFFFFFF the hook!! Seriously, they are INCredible. The homemade hot sauce is also on point!!! Vegan- they do have impossible meat and have a couple great options you can choose from. But if you're in doubt- the margaritas are DEFINITELY vegan

Yelp
This establishment is a rip off. I been multiple of times because it's the newest thing circling in Newark , but it's not worth it . For #1 it's street parking and it is horrible. They have a small valet parking lot on the side street of the restaurant however you have to pay $10-20. On certain nights they charge you to get it . Mind you this is a restaurant ! A group of friends and I, went on a Sunday night to have dinner , they made the males pay $20 to get into the restaurant just to sit down and eat which was a scam! The food is average and expensive. The only good thing I would compliment is the sangria, chips and guacamole , and the scenery. The inside is beautiful and absolutely photo worthy ! The owner is rude and doesn't care about paying customers. This restaurant would be great for a one time experience!

Yelp
My friends and I came here for a Galentine's day dinner. Of course IG/Tiktok brought us in and we were definitely here for the vibes and the aesthetic. It was definitely packed and the music was on point. Our server was attentive and helped us with menu suggestions. In addition to the food, we also got hookah which was honestly some of the best hookah I had in a while. We loved the drinks, and they were nice and strong. My favorite was the "Sunset in Tijuana". As far as the food, everything was pretty good. For my meal, I ended up getting the fish tacos which were severely oversalted, to the point where I could not finish the dish. I can take a little salt, but it was way too much for the lightness of the fish. My favorite food item would have to be the "Street Fries". All in all, I had a good time and would definitely return for the vibes, drinks, hookah and appetizers.

Yelp
Eh, it was so so. Overpriced and a hefty 4% charge for using credit card (4%). Food was ok. Service was ok. Didn't love it but didn't hate it. I think a touch they could offer, especially at their price point (22ish for a burrito, $18 for 3 tacos), would be chips and salsa when you order. $50+ for a burrito and 3 tacos when neither came with sides, we didn't get drinks and didn't get any appetizers is wild. I don't see us coming back. Cute decor though.

Yelp
So we got together for my boyfriend's sister's birthday and reservations were for 3pm. When we arrived I had to circle the block a few times to find parking. They had a sign for valet but valet wasn't available. I found parking after a while. When we walked in it was live in there. They did a thorough check of bags etc. I didn't expect a live party like atmosphere. We were seated in an area with a booth. I forgot the young lady's name that was our server but she was very nice. We started with drinks and I ordered the red wine and when it came out it was such a small amount. It was about 4oz with a high cost. As we drank we were entertained by dancing in costumes and snakes. We were now ready to order food. I ended up with the chicken tacos and it wasn't good and it was oily. The others had chicken and waffles and they said it wasn't seasoned well. The food was not too pleasing. This was an ok experience for me and probably a one and done.

Yelp
So this place was not at all what we were expecting. The menu looked great so we decided to go and give it a try and when we got there we thought we were in the wrong place because there were bouncers and security everywhere. We didn't have to wait for a table and we're seated off to the side near a bar where we realized that this place is probably more of a club than a restaurant. Our server was extremely kind, but I think there must've been an issue with the couple next to us because we sorta lost her attention for a while as she and a manager were sorting through a drink fiasco. The food was pretty good--everything we tried was great and their house margarita was okay, but not terribly memorable. Only two watch-outs: they include gratuity on every check, regardless of service. And if you are looking for a good conversation with your group--it's not going to happen because you can barely hear yourself think over the DJ (who probably said his name about every 90 seconds).

Yelp
First of all, the food took an hour to come. However, my friends and I are aware that service may be slow, especially with a big party. The biggest problem arose when the food actually arrived. The chicken for the chicken and waffles were burnt almost to a crisp. Luckily, they took the chicken out of the old grease a couple seconds before they turned to stones. The food they advertised in their menu must be inspiration, because we were disappointedly catfished when we were met with the sorry dishes. The French Toast Tres Leches Style was more like potato bread, drowned in eggs and soaked in low fat cows milk. To make matters worse, the owner accused my party of "trying to eat for free". A real business man would never say that to patrons who are trying to, and will spend money at their establishment. From beginning to end, this has probably been the worse dining experience i've ever had. Please, I urge everyone to search for a more authentic and inviting restaurant.

Yelp
If you're looking for a party Brunch situation Little Tijuana is for you! Came here on a Saturday afternoon for brunch. We had a reservation for 3pm but did have to wait to be seated. We chose to sit in the patio due to inside seating seaming a bit crammed. Tables were too close together leaving minimal space to enjoy your meal. After a short wait our waiter made her way over. We all went with the bottomless option which is inclusive of 90 mins unlimited drinks (margaritas, mimosa, Bloody Mary & draft beers) and an entree for $45). Little Tijuana is considered a margarita bar so of course I went with margaritas. You have your choice of flavors as well as classic or frozen. The margaritas are strong and tasty!!! Our waitress kept our glasses full between the margaritas and mimosas. The DJ played a variety of music everything from hip hop to r&b to Afro beats to Spanish. Hookah is also available for $45 (cash only).Valet is only offered AFTER 8pm even if the sign is in the street at 3PM, continue looking for parking LOL.

Yelp
Impressive!! From the outside, you would never expect anything like this. This picture does not do it justice. I have no complains we were treated with the upmost respect. The drinks were on point with a special twist here and there. Food was appealing and tasty. The service was phenomenal. I had a great time. It doesn't get loud, which is a pet peeve for me. I like to have a conversation here and there. Dj was great and music was at a good volume. They do offer hookah at a fee. Definitely a dress to impress. It's a Very Classy place. Can't wait to go back. I would recommend this place.

Yelp
Went to this place after a few recommendations with my best friend. It's so good I'm from the ate and it used to be another restaurant & I love the new renovations it's like a whole new place ! We started off with margaritas and mules followed by the guacamole trio and elote. I am an elite fan so I devoured mine, definitely delicious, was a little packed since it was a Friday but our server met all our requests. For our entrees we got the birria tacos and the Mexican shrimp, I wish the shrimp were grilled instead of poached but they were still pretty good. All the artwork was amazing literally a photo opp everywhere you turned from the entrance to the bar to the bathroom , all decked out in authentic Mexican decor and murals. We will be back !
