Went to a Culinary experience and Red Carpet event at the Noypitz restaurant inside this Plaza. Plenty of Free Parking in the plaza.Plaza. Had the opportunity to meet Raven, the singer for the Redbone Band. Great Food, fun and amazing experience.

Google
This place has great parking, a lot of stores that sell everyday items to some surprising finds. Overall A Great Place to Shop.

Google
The venue itself is not taken care of well at all. The bathrooms never have soap, which is already disgusting in its own right, but then they want to also increase the parking rate to $30. They also have the nerve to add more security cameras and guard around the bathrooms but to not actually clean or do anything sanitary about the place. Very disappointed with the new management.

Carlos Ibarra

Google
The security at this location is trash now. Been going here for more then 10 parking securities which is since I was like 18 in 40 now I’m a local so I took my mom to eat a sakuras and shop she parked outside it was raining the security guards were inside the parking structure not doing anything they saw us let us pass. We went inside took mate 1:45 mins going over 15 which we were willing to pay as we walked out he had a warning sign everything acting like we were criminals I hate to use the term rent a cop but he has the lil man ego for it . So he escalates the situation gets scared when confronted with facts and calls his lil goons sad and pathetic but they lied to me about their manager and all can anyone give me their number to contact thier supervisors I’m going back as I have no reason not to but I hope he’s gone if not oh well jokes still on him .

DAMI k-FOOD, good place to eat at for lunch

Like with most malls, this one seems to be doing a little rough. The biggest draw in this area is the food but none of the mall stores stay open during the high traffic drunk shopping hours. It seems like a missed opportunity.

Google
This galleria has one of the coolest views over Arts District from their rooftop parking level. Sometimes there’s vegan sushi catered on the rooftop. Awesome!

Google
A decent little mall, plenty of restaurants and if you stay less then two hours, parking is free. If you want to do something different than I'd come here. There's a bowling alley and games for the kids. Two karaoke places here as well

Yelp
The Galleria complex consists of three floors of various speciality shops and services, entertainment options, along with eateries throughout. The interior is clean, spacious and bright. Restrooms are on the second floor that require a code for access. There is very limited metered street parking, as well an adjacent parking garage. Most businesses offer parking validation for patrons upon request. Parking can be expensive.

Yelp
Aside from the taiyaki and hotteok (sweet honey Korean walnut pancakes) located in a cart stall outside the Galleria, I generally wouldn't go out of my way to go here unless there's an event. From a decade ago until now, I don't think there was ever that much at this mall. A handful of restaurants, another market, a pretty cheap karaoke place (a plus), and the neat Japanese pottery shop, are all the highlights that this place has. Though I have to admit that the new Hapibara Station with artist goods is a nice touch and I do like that the community is trying to invigorate Little Tokyo by having events here (flea markets, cup sleeve events, K-pop events, etc.). There's validated parking at the attached structure, just be sure to make some purchases and the validation stacks, which is nice.

Yelp
If you have a lot of free time to walk around, this would be the place to do it! This mall is huge and has so many different stores. I could literally use a whole day just window shopping! Something that was a little unsettling was how empty the mall was when we visited, but it was Friday afternoon, so idk maybe everyone was working or something. And parking was kind of annoying. Not that it's hard to find, because there is a parking garage associated with the galleria. But it's so expensive.

Yelp
I like the variety of stores - grocery market, food, kpop, etc. The place is pretty clean and there's a parking structure next door to this venue. There's also a bathroom on the second floor. This place is pretty close to multiple popular places.

Yelp
Walked from our hotel to the Galleria mall to explore and get a snack. Purposely wanted hotteok from this cart I saw on IG. Decided that would be our snack for the day The mall have various shops and many floors. But we only explored a few shops and went to hunting for the snack.

Yelp
Been here a handful of times and it's always a wonderful staple to have in LT. there's a grocery store, my favorite pottery store and home mart on 2nd floor for home goods, and great restaurants on 3rd floor as well as a kareoke room. There's also a few other clothing or gift shops too. Bathrooms on each floor. Many restaurants validate parking. Outside is also parking on the street where I've parked a few times and it's been ok. Just check the parking signs. Highly recommend coming here!

Yelp
Parking is a scam. I stayed at the mall about 30min or less. Got validation at Daiso. Parking tried charged me $6. I told this lady who works at the parking that I got validation at Daiso and showed her a receipt and parking ticket that shows time that I parked. She still charged me and told me it is Daiso's fault that they didn't validate correctly . And how she talked to me was very rude. Also if you park here half day it will be $30. Don't park here if you going to this mall.

Yelp
Hell yes, I have been coming here since I was a kid. This mall is just so nostalgic, it has such a great vibe.To it it's like an old school mall with old style escalators, kind of dingy bathrooms but i always use the restroom here everytime in Little Tokyo They even have little massage chairs on the 2nd floor. Also on the 3rd floor has an all you can eat Korean barbecue and this tiny cool retro Japanese restaurant with family style meals. I love it. What can I say?? Plus the Daiso and Japanese Market place downstairs is a must visit place. They sell amazing sushi in the Japanese marketplace. Plus the beard papas downstairs is delicious. They have validation inside the stores for the parking structure connected to this funky galleria~~~

Yelp
Restrooms here are filthy and needs some serious attention and not to mention there is never soap in the restroom and I do mean NEVER!!!! On most of the toilets you can find poop and urine SMH. This needs to be fixed ASAP it is very Unsanitary!!
google avatar

Joanna L.

Yelp
I park here sometimes for my Japanese class because they validate for this lot. It's a no frills, simple parking garage. I don't think peoples cars really get broken into. Knocked off a star because the walk from the school to the garage (or just anywhere around the garage) is really sketchy and dangerous at nighttime. It's not a great idea to walk by yourself. Stay safe!

Yelp
Dorcas sells fake Pokemon cards. No phone number or website to reach out for a a refund. AVOID
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
There are many cool stores/restaurants in here plus a decent Korean market (so sorry if you thought it was a Japanese market!), but the parking garage situation is absolutely ridiculous. They only accept 2 validations on your parking ticket for a maximum of 2 hrs. If you stay here too long, you'll end up having to pay for parking. One of the parking attendants always seem to be in a foul mood and is super hostile, especially if you start asking any questions about the parking. I understand that they don't want riff raff parking here and lounging around forever, but it doesn't make sense to push out the actual shoppers.

Yelp
Three floors of mostly empty storefronts, Little Tokyo Galleria has some major anchor stores (Little Tokyo Marketplace and Daiso) and a good selection of restaraunts on the 3rd floor, that can hopefully keep it open. We were planning to have lunch here, but the restaurant wasn't open. Since we had walked this way, we decided to explore the rest of the mall. Daiso and the grocery store was fairly busy, but everything else was either closed or empty. There was a good selection of restaurants up on the 3rd floor, but most were closed when we came, so didn't have opportunity.

Yelp
Such a chill and friendly mall! Supports community events like Harajuku Day, and there's a Daiso and awesome food. Love it here!!!
google avatar

Yelp
The Little Tokyo Galleria Mall is conveniently located in the center of DTLA, most merchants will validate the parking from 2 hrs to 4 hrs, very packed parking garage though. The shopping center is small, wide selections of Asian specifically Japanese restaurants.
google avatar

Yelp
Not really much to do or see here. I came here just to try a Japanese shaved ice from one of the restaurants, but after that I really didn't know what to do here. The plaza was mostly empty with just some few stores like toys, Daiso, and stuff. There were some dessert places such as beard papa, Uji matcha etc. and a super market (which looked run by Korean people by the way), oh and a bowling/arcade center. Some might find it interesting, I didn't so much.

Yelp
How have I not reviewed the Little Tokyo Galleria yet? I've reviewed many of the shops inside it over the years. I lived a few blocks away for 19 years and would often walk over for food or entertainment. This Galleria has definitely had ups and downs over the years. For a while it housed my favorite Japanese restaurant, Issen Joki but sadly that closed years ago. When roller derby started to get big in L.A., it was starting here. In the space that is now the bowling alley. The L.A. Derby Dolls set up a banked track to practice and then started selling tickets for events. That was the only time that I've seen this mall really busy and full. The parking deck would be full. Sadly, when it was getting really popular the city shut them down because they had permitted the space for practices and not for ongoing regular events. They tried to obtain the correct permits but the city didn't allow it. Sad. The grocery store in the mall is nice, its a great asset to the community. It has changed ownership over the years. My favorite chain that inhabited that space was Mitsuwa Market. I love Mitsuwa. There used to be a large bookstore on the first floor. It's gone. There was a cool Japanese pizza booth called Strawberry Cones, it was tasty but didn't last long. What's there now? -Beard Papa -X Lanes - bowling, karaoke, pool tables, restaurant & bar -Sushi Go 55 -Izakaya Honda Ya -Manna Korean BBQ. -Daiso -Little Tokyo Market Place I've seen plans of a huge mixed use development being built here but I haven't heard anything about that moving forward recently.

Yelp
I've been coming here practically my whole life since it was Yaohan. I absolutely love coming here because it's full of amazing memories. It still has some awesome shops and some amazing food (like Hanaichimonme on the top floor), and the arcade is still really cool despite it changing locations a few times over the years. Does anyone remember the amazing kinetic clock that used to tower through the second and third stories? I always loved that, and I miss it a lot. Nowadays, I'll come here to eat and just hang out a bit. It's still a fun place to come. Just make sure to buy something or eat somewhere so you get your parking validated.

Roxanna N.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday night. Parking structure had a ton of parking. Spent about 2 hours and 17 minutes in the plaza. Went to the supermarket, dish ware store, Daiso, and Izakaya Bizan. Received validation from three places but still had to pay $4 in parking fees. Noticed the sign on the way out and it said 1 hour free parking but $2 every 15 minutes there after. This place also has other amazing places, like a bowling alley with arcade, K Pop boba store, and AYCE Korean BBQ. The parking garage needs to be a bit more accommodating to the stores and customers that come here because people can't spend a lot of time browsing because of the parking fees. It really hurts the businesses inside too since we can't stay in the plaza for a very long time. Just have to be quick. Noticed another post and it said maximum you can stay, with validation ,is two hours for free parking. Will do that next time.

Yelp
To the guy who said this place is boring. Walking around and just saying blah is your own stupid reality. The food on the top level is great high quality. so is the bowling alley. The smalll shops have personality. Sorry it didn't meet your expectations. Just don't listen to stupid people.

Yelp
7/9/17 Update: A couple of my friends said it was unusual, especially for a parking attendant to ask to hold my license. They suggested I call the company. Called the garage and asked to speak with the manager, "Sam", who answered the phone, claimed to be the manager. He said they had cameras and also argued holding someone's license is not illegal. He also was grabbing onto my words where I said it was the first time it happened to me here and asking if I always spent this much time at the galleria. It felt a bit like he was trying to shift the blame of his employee's actions and missing the point. I have been here in the past for dinners, company events, karaoke, at most probably 3 hours. However, that has nothing to do with this incident. Like experiencing racism, once is enough. He did say he would look into it. 7/8/17 The parking attendant is an asshole. He tried to charge the full $15 ignoring all the validations on the ticket. We had a 2hr validation from the market, 2hr validation from Honda-Ya, and a 3hr validation from Max Karaoke. (It was a friend's bday.) I was there from about 2:50-8:45pm. The parking attendant then asked to see receipts making up some rule that the validation from the market doesn't count since this receipt was less than $10 and asked me to pay the full $15. I had to dig out another receipt that showed our group spending over $20 from the market. Rather than counting the validation, he walked to the next booth talking to some lady. At this point, I'm pretty annoyed so I take out my camera and start snapping pictures of this guy. He comes back says, "you don't have to record me" and finally let's us go without the absurd parking ripoff.

Yelp
Nice bright three story shopping center with an atrium decorated with sakura flowers. There is parking nearby. There is a supermarket on the ground floor along with Daiso, coffee shop, Beard Papa creme puffs, and other stores. On the third floor there are restaurants like Manna Korean BBQ, Shojin vegan restaurant, and Izakaya Honda-Ya. Very clean and has public restrooms and plenty of seating area.
google avatar

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
Had a really BAD experience with the Parking Attendant. Went to an exit lane that was closed and asked the attendant if we had to go back around. HE answered us in a really VERY, VERY RUDE AND SARCASTIC WAY. I know this man was probably uneducated and earns minimum wage but they should at least teach them some manners specially since they are dealing with the public.
google avatar

Janice H.

Yelp
I love the ayce at manna what is ayce it is all you can eat last get your ticket validate for 3 hours at manna. I love the puffs and the box at beard papa ,manna has 2 ayce , ayce 1 $31.99, ayce 2 $19.99.

Marco T.

Yelp
I go to a bunch of validation places and I still have to pay for parking after 2 hours there is apparently a limit of 2 hours free then if that's the case why go to more shops in this plaza
google avatar

Arlette S.

Yelp
Awesome little place to visit while in little tokyo. About a ten minute walk from village plaza and its worth the short trip
google avatar

Heidi M.

Yelp
I love this mall b/c it is right next to Little Tokyo. There is a parking garage you can get validation for or if you're lucky, there is street parking around as well. The grocery store inside is amazing. The small shops like Dorcas and daiso have great prices! There is a place inside like Dave & Busters on the third floor. Sorry, I forget the name! But it is a definite place to check out!

Lisa D.

Yelp
The mall, though spacious, is a little run down. It's geared towards knick knacks and houseware rather than clothing. Several of the shops have closed down, so you can easily run through the entire mall in less than an hour. Definitely stop by to snack/have lunch as there is a variety of options, on both the first and third floor (snacks/desserts on the first, restaurants on the third).
google avatar

Patrick I.

Yelp
So just by walking around and hanging out by the massage chairs area in the 2nd floor to hear my friends perform for the galleria open mic night and watching the types of people going to the numerous stores/restaurants. Didn't see any typical weebos/Otakus walk around. Didn't see a store (anime/Tokusatsu/Jpop/New Japan PW, Kpop/drama/movies, video game/toys) that catered to a hardcore Japanphile, Koreanphile, Otaku like myself.
google avatar

L T.

Yelp
Lots of cool toys and figures. Reasonable price and good service. You can grab a bite to eat before or after.

Monique J.

Yelp
I went here on a Monday. My nephew is 17 African American with autism and he enjoys the Japanese culture. We went to koreatown the day before but this galleria was more inviting. It was small but clean and open. We went to Daiso for some shopping and he ate at the corndog place while I ate at bad son taco place in the market. Parking was ridiculous and expensive. That's probably my only complaint. If you don't like the crowds go on a Monday. It was very pleasant
google avatar

Yelp
I have gone here since I was a kid, mostly for the Japanese food and Beard Papa as well as the grocery store in the back and have spent so much money here over the years. I won't be coming back to this place after tonight. They close at 10:30 pm (to be fair it was 11pm) but there were still plenty of people inside and i had just bought something from there not long ago and stepped out but had to use the restroom. I go back in and The security guards rudely as me "what I think I was doing" as my mission was to use the lavatory....I politely explained and four security guards who were huddled together and they were so rude about it. It was unnecessary to approach me that way. I was alone and it was a bit intimidating.....
google avatar

Kim T.

Yelp
I do not understand why more people aren't at this mall!!! We go here for food (Korean bbq and sushi go 55), as well as grocery shopping- don't buy fish anywhere else (I think Saturday they have their tuna sampling- giant tuna broken down and sold - sushi quality). They have their own parking lot, free parking with validation. It's convient to swing by after work and get a healthy dinner at the Asian grocery store. Yes, the mall is a little empty, a bit run down, but it represents a little jewel in LA.
google avatar

Christina N.

Yelp
This is a cute shopping center. They had a purikura booth, a supermarket, and many great restaurants.
google avatar

Karen K.

Yelp
It's a great place to hang out with friends. Very cute stuff too!

Yelp
After visiting Little Tokyo we decided to visit Little Tokyo Galleria. We were search of a specific plush rabbit that my son's girlfriend had lost and we wanted to surprise her with a replacement. We had been to this place specifically for a couple of reasons: The karaoke place on the second floor and Beard Papa's on the first floor, which I highly recommend. However the place we thought might have this rabbit thingy wasn't open until 10 or 11 am. The reason I say this is because the business door didn't have a schedule and it seemed that most businesses were all opening at different times. A smorgasbord of chaos. So we waited until 11am until the store called Dorcas opened up and it was well worth the wait because not only did we find the bunny but we found many other Japanese toys. So now we have three reasons to go back and visit. Well worth a visit!

Ryan R.

Yelp
Great restaurants and shops here. Wonderful atmosphere. You simply can't go wrong visiting this place.

Isabel R.

Yelp
Not much to see, a lot of stores didn't even have much and the only good thing was the market which has a lot of good stuff to eat but aside from that I do not recommend even going.

Kris M.

Yelp
Cute spot & really liked the discount store. Try the sweet Korean pancakes outside in the patio area, it's a warm $2 treat!

Jessica G.

Yelp
Quirky, fun place! It felt like Japan, which is not surprising since it is in Little Tokyo. But it felt like real Japan, and not some trendy downtown LA version of Japan. There were interesting shops - clothing, knick knacks, Daiso. . . There is also a fun karaoke place. Plus there is a big supermarket in the ground floor with all kinds of interesting things for sale. The supermarket also has a sushi station, a poke station, and a Japanese bakery. We brought lunch at the supermarket, took it up to karaoke, and then wandered around the mall when we were done. A very fun and different way to spend the afternoon. It's also very family friendly. We went with 4 kids between ages of 7 and 10 and they loved it. A novel way to entertain the whole family without breaking the bank!
