We eat pizza every Friday night, and being on vacation in Vegas is no exception. My husband is obsessed with pizza, and he has the book “The Pizza Bible” by Tony Gemignani, so he was excited to get to try his pizza. It did not disappoint! The atmosphere was fun and had kind of an oldies vibe. My favorite part of the decor was the big red couches at each booth. The server was friendly and very helpful. I wanted to try the specialty pizza called the Cal Italian, but I didn’t want the whole 16” pizza since my husband was getting his own personal pizza- 16” was too much for me. So she asked the kitchen to make it for me in the 9” pan. I’m so glad she was able to make it work for me, because it was delicious! It had prosciutto, fig reserve (not 100% sure what that means), and a balsamic glaze. The flavors went perfectly together. My husband got a pepperoni, mushroom, and olive pizza and he loved it. It definitely lived up to our expectations. Too bad we don’t live closer! It was kind of hard to find, and it doesn’t seem to be well advertised, but if you take the time to find it, you won’t regret it!
