Don’t live in the area (in Alabama), but saw you on Omnivore so I had to order a couple bags. Your passion comes through in your product. Bags arrived in less than a week, impressive. I just want to state, this coffee is superb. Only tried it in pour over so far, but will be trying other brewing methods shortly. Amazing work.

We first received a bag of beans from here as part of a subscription. We were really happy and just started ordering bags directly. We love the coffee and look forward to ordering more in the future. We have mostly used for espresso and have been super impressed. Some of the best beans we've tried.

Independent coffee roasters aren't too hard to come by these days but what beyond tasting great, makes coffee amazing is how it makes you feel. Knowing that a roaster strives to nurture the community within and beyond its walls, knowing that a roaster takes painstaking steps to care for the precious resource it serves, knowing that a roaster does everything within its ability to build a team of people who are taken care of and enter the shop full of respect each day... that makes for a different cup of coffee. Little Waves is more than coffee--it's a way of life; it's an inspiration; it is truly community in every sense of the word. Coffee is natural and will taste different years from now, but I will grow old remembering how Little Waves makes me feel.

When quarantine started, I treated myself to Little Wave's monthly coffee subscription, and getting that bag delivered to my doorstep has become a highlight of my month! I never used to think I could distinguish between notes in coffee, but with LW's beans, I can--and it's become such a cherished part of my daily ritual to grind the beans and breathe in the smell every morning. Areli and Leon, the owners, put such care and thought into everything they make, and that feels really evident in the coffee--from the design to the description to the commitment to work directly with coffee farmers around the world. I'm very proud to support them, and also it's easy to, since the product they make is so delicious.

The best thing I've done during quarantine is sign up for a Little Waves coffee subscription. I've started every morning with a pourover for a decade, and moving to these beans has been transformative. I get hyped about the label on literally very bag I've received: "golden apple, baker's chocolate, toffee and cinnamon", "luxardo cherry, golden raisin, and buttercream frosting in a sweet, creamy cup", "toffee, milk chocolate, and orange in a sweet, full-bodied cup"... ! The vision and mission of Little Waves (the roastery arm of Cocoa Cinnamon) is so special, too. This is the only roastery I know that illuminates the rich chain of relationships between human beings that culminates in the cup of coffee I hold in my hands: from farmers to roasters to the person who drops the bag off on my doorstep. (I love the hand delivery for local folks. They also ship internationally, and have made it to all 50 US states!) Supporting this vibrant community is a privilege, and the coffee is SO good.
