I have been to the store several times and had to wait for close to 15minutes before the sales person/owner shows up. And guess what? He doesnt apologize for the delay. I think you should employ someone to stay in the store and attend to people. It is not nice to go into a store and meet it empty with no one to attend to customers. It is actually rude.

The young man who attended to me was great. He has a good sense of humor and this stuck for me. I’ve been to two other African stores a few times and every time I went in, the staff are so serious and almost unfriendly. My experience at this store was refreshingly different. The store was clean; and items were neatly arranged and labeled as much as possible. Unfortunately, I don’t know about the prices, if items are overpriced or not. I don’t go to Africans stores very often. I gave 4 stars because it was a little tricky finding the entrance 😊

Honestly, this is a gem of a store in the SW neighborhood. Great variety of produce and fruit, fair prices and the friendliest service I have ever received. Go get your produce here folks. You will be supporting a family owned local business and you receive excellent service. Win win!

We had a great time! A simple food market with reasonable prices & staff with a great sense of humor. With prices these days it's so important to find a good deal. Highly suggest stopping in and checking it out for yourself if you're looking to support something better!
