"A favorite haunt of Taipei taxi drivers (always good sign), this sprawling street stall beneath a busy highway overpass serves up heaping plates of liang mian, literally “cold noodles.” Dressed with silky sesame sauce, julienned cucumbers, and chile oil, the noodles are typically paired with steaming bowls of miso soup swirled with egg and gong wan, hearty Chinese meatballs. Insiders know not to skip the equally revered re chao, or quick-fry eatery next door, with open-air tables dishing out fresh, stir-fried seafood until the early hours. [$]" - Clarissa Wei

Came here for supper and tried the famous cold noodle with sesame sauce with a side of spring onion omelette and pork ball egg drop soup. The cold noodle has nice chew and springy, the noodles are freshly prepared and dunk into cold water to give that refreshing texture. The sauce favouring is just right, not too salty with balanced taste of sesame and seasoning. The best part for me was the pork ball egg drop soup because it was done perfectly, egg drop spread through out the soup evenly like clouds, soft and silky, the pork balls are handmade too so the texture is between firm and soft. You can choose sunny side or spring onion omelette as a side which I chose the latter as it’s more rare to have that for supper, and it was cooked very well too. Order at counter and they will bring the food to you. Vibe is lively, many young people and prepare to share table with others because the place is busy!

The unassuming-looking biege noodles is surprisingly yummy and packs a flavourful punch. The noodles are coated with a delicious nutty sauce and have a satisfying bite. Egg is well-cooked with runny yolk. Really great value for money. It is a very casual quick dining eatery, don't expect warm service lol.

It was good overall. Cold noodle is not my fav food. But, the taste was good, I like noodle’s texture.

Been here many times. Great rice noodles and side meat and innards dishes. Also want to mention Huang Mama Rice Noodle Shop, which is right next door! Same menu and just as good! So make sure you tried them both. These pics are for Huang Mama. My Liu Mama review had their pics.

Awesome supper place in Taipei. The cold noodle texture is great and we enjoyed it.

Queue wasn’t too long shortly after 9:30 and we easily found a table. Noodles were fine but not worth a specific trip. The sauce was watery and bland and the noodles still warm when served.

The noodles are good, and they open late. The soup not so sure. Good vibes at night. Guess what they offer wasabi so if you want something fresh in your noodles try add some wasabi. It makes you get off that headache you got 😂

The foundation to my late night drunk munchies whenever I visit Taiwan. Unlike that 2am pizza in NYC or waffle house run down south, these cold noodles with some sweet nutty sauce and fresh cucumbers on top, hits a refreshing spot that won't make you feel like a pile of trash the next morning. Don't forget to add an egg on the side because you can and you will definitely eat it.

Yelp
Looking for some grub at 4am after leaving the bar or club? This is the spot to hit up to get your hangover prevention (or cure if you've had a bit too much already). They're open 24/7 and conveniently located not too far from all the nightlife! You'll get the perfect combo of carbs and protein (plus some grease) that'll satisfy those late night munchies and help soak in all those drinks you've been downing all night! Be sure to get their speciality, which is the cold noodles which you mix with their peanut sauce. And don't forget to add some eggs to your order either! And how much will this hurt your wallet might you ask? A huge whopping $100 NTD will be suffice to fill you up!!

Yelp
this place is definitely the place to go after a late night out!!! just what you are craving for!! refreshing cold noodles with the right amount of sesame garlic dressing. we always come here whenever we would go out for a night out in the clubs. it's also closely located in dong chu (downtown district) just an easy cab ride away!. give it a try to get the full taiwan night out experience if you're ever in taipei!

Yelp
Liu Ma Ma is the best choice after a long wild night. After partying hard at Xinyi district, we went there around 3 am and you can see there are still packed with young ppl. I ordered a bowl of small cold noodle, and meat ball miso soup. Foods were simple, but tasted really good and refreshing. Also, the portion was just right for me. Total cost was under 100ntd and I was full and satisfied :)

Yelp
Personally, i am not a big fan of cold noodle. However they do serve late supper...after late night of partying, this might be one of the popular places for you to rest and quick bite before heading home...

Yelp
Have never been here during normal hours - again only have every been here after clubbing/night out with friends. This is on the same caliber as the lin dong feng beef noodle place!!! delicious after a big night out. try the cold noodles with the miso-meatball soup. yum. it cures hangover.

Yelp
This place open late till morning! It is a good place to have a bite after partying late night in Taipei city. A lot of the young people go here. Their feature Chinese cold noodle is the killer that goes really well with the sauce! The meat ball soup is also really amazing! You will need to order the food and pay for it first, then find a spot to seat down, they will deliver it to your table. Price is extremely cheap! $100 will get you really full and enough to go home sleep with a good dream.

Yelp
Perfect place to grab a bite after a long night out partying. The primary market for this place is pretty much the younger crowd that stays up late which is why their opening hours are at night till the next morning. It is located right beside/under the bridge, I would recommend just taking a taxi to save all that trouble. All the seatings are outdoors and you order and pay first before sitting down. The menu is quite simple and limited, definitely try their signature cold noodles, it goes amazing with their peanut sauce. Also give their 3 in 1 soup a try (meat ball, egg, and miso soup base)! Those are the two things I always order when I go. The prices are very affordable and cheap, roughly 100NT will be able to get you filled and satisfied.
