One of SGV’s Best Casual Noodle Shops Expands to Rowland Heights | Eater LA

"A tenant specializing in Sichuan-style pan-roasted fish that distinguishes itself by naming base flavors after U.S. cities—Seattle for sweet & sour, San Francisco for spicy, and LA for black pepper—and also offering skewers, lamb noodle soup, cold appetizers, and other seafood options." - Jim Thurman

This restaurant is reasonably priced now, somewhere in the upper-middle range. The food is decent, but the restroom is definitely not great. Overall, it's alright. I'd recommend it.

This place offers some of the best Chinese grilled fish in LA. If you're a grilled/roast fish lover and skewers lover, you must try it out. For their roasted fish dishes they use super fresh fish and serve generous portions. You can choose your toppings and spice level—I don't eat spicy, so I ordered mine non-spicy, and it was perfect. They also offer a variety of skewers, including grilled seafood, lamb, beef, pork, chicken, and vegetable skewers, as well as a range of main dishes like zhajiang noodle and yang chow fried rice. I ordered their tang chow fried rice, tastes very good! Don’t forget to check in on Yelp to receive a 10% discount on purchases over $100. The service is very fast, everything is cooked to order, and the decor is nice. The wall paintings shows the culture of roast fish in China are very cool

Must try for a roast fish fan!! Firstly, they use only fresh fish. Next I so love you can choose your own sauce type, spice level and add ons. The add ons include protein such as prawns and a ton of veggies to choose from! There even were three types of tofu! I have never had create your own roast fish like this before and I am a fan for life!! They also offer skewers, cold dishes, fried rice, noodles and a wide range of drinks! Yes of course we did get skewers and were pleasantly surprised by the yummy seasoning and the meat was tender and juicy! Their dishes are served in good size portions and plenty to share. All in all walked away full amd happy!

I COMPLETE DISSENT from all the previous 1 star reviews posted here and suspect that conflict of interest is involved. I do not usually give reviews but I must stand out to give a fair comment. This restaurant is amazing. The foods are great, and super tasty. The fish is fresh. If you want to avoid overcook, you could use the long scoop to shovel the fish up. The servers are really nice and warm, please do not believe those who say that they use offensive language, they DO NOT AT ALL. The place is clean and neat. You can choose spicy level and the highest level is quite hot. Please AGAIN do not fooled by the overwhelming 1 star reviews, try it and you will love it if you like roast fish. I guess I need to thank those negative reviews because I did not need to wait in a line for ever before I can enjoy hahaha.

I have been reading good reviews about this place so I decided to try it out after a while. We went during lunch. The grilled fish was dry with little meat, and there was really not much else on the plate even with extra add ons. We also ordered some fried rice which came up to $80 together for two. The place looked run down and the floor was slippery, the waitress also missed our fried rice even though we were the only two tables there. Maybe we came at the wrong time, but we left mostly disappointed.

40 bucks for 3 people on Christmas Eve. Ordered some noodles and a wonton and everything was great. We came in kind of late also but service was still good. Great portions and we even had leftovers.

Actually the best roasted fish in Los Angeles I’ve ever patronized. They don’t really need reviews to show people how amazing their food tastes, just try it once perhaps people will become me and my friend start to get addicted to this restaurant, we must come here once two weeks.

OMG. This place serves the best whole fish platters. It's a bit of a well kept secret. What a surprise!!!
