Nature: an amazing park, very rugged and wild. The wildebeest migration is just stunning. It is amazing to see the animals roaming if they are not constrained by fences built by human. I have never seen comparable numbers of game ever before in my life. Bird life is spectacular as well.
I also really appreciate the fact, that the park has obviously found a way to coexist with people living in the traditional villages in parts of this huge park.
Business: if you are an international visitor, be prepared for a total entrance fee of 80 USD per person per day. I think this is just insane and make no sense, especially when comparing with other top-of-the-line parks in southern Africa. Hence, most campgrounds were more or less empty - at one of them I was the only guest visiting during the last 8 days. And that was in peak season, during the wildebeest migration! If African Parks continues to just raise the fee by calendar year, I think it is a matter of time, until this magnificent park will see approximately zero (international) visitors per year. This cannot be the optimum price point, IMHO.
