Best Hot Pot Restaurants in the Seattle Area | Eater Seattle

"The sauce bar is extensive and the range of items are expansive at this Bellevue outpost of the international chain, even offering standalone snacks like fruit and peanuts for customers to munch on. A couple of highlights are the perfectly tender marbled beef and the Kung Fu sliced potatoes, which are wafer thin and absorb immense amount of broths." - Ryan Lee

Google
Liuyishou Hotpot was such a great experience! The broths are full of flavor, the ingredients are super fresh, and there’s a huge variety of proteins — lamb, seafood, duck, pork — plus tons of veggie options. I also liked being able to mix my own sauces to get it just right. The restaurant is very kid-friendly, and the staff were warm and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is lively but still comfortable, perfect for a family dinner or a fun night out with friends. Definitely a place I’d come back to whenever I’m craving hotpot!

Google
Authentic hot pot with a lot of choices for all-you-can-eat including one bar for hot-pot food and one for sauces + cold appetizers. Shrimp, fish, meat, and a variety of staples like rice noodles, potato, seaweed knot. This restaurant is underrated and it is one of our favorites!

Google
Absolutely loved my visit to Liuyishou Hotpot. The broths were super flavorful – we tried two different kinds in the split pot and both were rich without being too salty. All the meats came out fresh and nicely sliced, and there were tons of side options: veggies, tofu skin, fish cakes, noodles, mushrooms, etc. Everything looked clean and well prepared. Service was great too. The staff kept checking on us, refilled the broth and drinks quickly, and patiently explained how long to cook different items. The sauce bar had a lot of choices, so it was easy to customize the flavor exactly how I like it. The restaurant is bright and comfortable, perfect for hanging out with friends or family and taking your time around the hotpot. Overall, really satisfying meal and I’d definitely come back and recommend Liuyishou to anyone craving hotpot.

Google
Absolutely love this place! Fresh ingredients, delicious broth, great service, and clean environment. Best hot pot in Bellevue — highly recommended!

Google
Great all-you-can-eat hot pot place with fresh and delicious food. The soup base is also nicely done with lots of ingredients and herbs. Will go again!

Google
Food quality is amazing - I love the fish 黑鱼片 and shrimp balls (虾滑)in my hot pot. I brought my kids who both loved the tomato base soup. Super kids friendly. We also ordered the mushroom based soup, which tasted fresh and delicious. I did not feel thirsty after my meal which is the way I know there was not much MSG or additives in the soup. Price is very reasonable considering the food qualit

Google
The new side dishes are soooo great!! And I like that all the seafood and vegetables are now on the other bar and you can take whatever you want anytime! The food is really fresh, taste is better than before!

Google
Great hot pot experience! Came here after watching one of our fave YouTubers mentioned it, and oh my gosh, it was delicious. My husband and I were stuffed afterwards. We got two soup bases: tomato and the house special. Both had great depth and flavor, but our favorite is definitely the tomato. It’s like a savory tomato soup without the cream. We got an assortment of meats, and there is a sauce bar, veggies, and other food that is available as well. We love the 3 second bean curd roll and the black tofu bean curd. Do be careful eating because you can burn your mouth if you’re in a rush. 😊 They were very crowded on a Saturday evening so I highly recommend making a reservation if you can, especially on a weekend for dinner. They do have a tablet where you can join a waitlist and the guy at the front is very friendly as well. Overall, it was an awesome experience! If you’re new to hot pot, definitely come here. We’re originally from Dallas and we were pleased they have several locations and one near home to us!

Yelp
This place has the best hotpot in the area. The food's always great. The broth is always perfect and the cuts of meat are fresh. Service has always been good and efficient. The new all you can eat is with the buffet style is an improvement too!

Yelp
Very solid place for AYCE hot pot. You can choose between the regular or premium course and can order 3 rounds (similarly to other AYCE hot pot). Sauce bar was included with the AYCE price and kept very clean and they had their own recommended sauce recipe that you can try. We ordered the spicy broth (level 1) and golden chicken. Both broths had a okay flavor to them, didn't taste watery in my opinion but I couldn't really taste a strong flavor. I thought the broth wasn't spicy at all but my boyfriend did so be warned if you get that and have a lower spice tolerance. We also got the premium set and I was very impressed with the selection and quality of the meats. I think we tried almost all of the meat that was available and all of them were very tender. A lot of variety for the veggies and tofu and other add ins. I also thought the seafood platter was incredible, with crab, scallops, mussels, abalone, and shrimp. I think I will just stick with the meats though as the seafood was hard to eat in hot pot. There is a chance that you have to share a table with another group. Or if you are going in a bigger group then there should be lots of space for your entire group to sit. Service was very efficient as they brought out items pretty quickly. I find the taste and quality of Liuyishou hot pot to be better than other AYCE options in the area, so this may be my preferred place.

Yelp
- new self serve bar! - Food: 4 stars Price: 2 stars Service: 3 atars Ambiance: 3 stars Overall: 3 stars I haven't been here for far too long, and I was surprised that they changed their business model. They are primarily all-you-can-eat now and you can order 5 types of meat from the server. You can also order fried pork, lamb/beef skewers, and glutinous rice cake with brown sugar for the regular option (you have to pick the premium AYCE if you want high-end meat like Australian/American wagyu or seafood like crab legs or oyster. It's about an extra $20 on top). We picked the regular option and chose the spicy house special soup with the highest spicy level (3 pepper icons on the menu) and the signature pork tripe with black pepper and chicken soup base. The server was like "are you sure about that?" after I told him we want the super spicy option lol. He probably thought we are insane.. I never touched that side of the pot, but one of our friends was constantly sweating and they all said it was spicy. There are 3 areas where you can get your food, the self-serve ingredients bar, the sauce bar, and the snacks bar. The snacks bar was hidden at the side, and the egg rolls that I got were cold. There are sesame balls, shrimp crackers (蝦片)and other stuff too. I like the self-serve area since you can get most of your ingredients on your own, including crown daisy, shrimp paste, mussels, squid, shrimps, bamboo shoots, seaweed knots, taro, potato, quail eggs, lotus roots, mushrooms, noodles, etc (around 35 options here). Since we have no clue what meat was good, we ordered one of each for the 4 of us and those were the only meat we ordered, along with the skewers and the fried pork. We almost finished all the meat, but the friend with a big appetite was focusing on mussels instead. The sauce bar is pretty standard, it has 3 side dishes/appetizers, 2 kinda of fruit (orange and cantaloupe when I was there), 2 kinda of dessert (mung bean soup and jelly/liangfen 涼粉). There also teach you how to make some sauces on the wall as well, with information on what sauce is good for spicy/non-spicy/all soup base. Thee sesame sauce for spicy soup was a life changer since the it helped coping with spiciness for my friends. We dined for almost 2 hours and we were super full. I made a reservation the night before, and picked the last time slot available that's close to dinner time (5:15pm). We were late by 5 minutes, but they gave us a seat right away. The restaurant was about 20% full in the main dining area, and it was around 85% full when we left. There were also 3-4 groups waiting when we left around 7pm. The price was a bit high for me, and I think it's slightly higher than happy lamb. I don't feel there is a significant difference between the quality of meat/food between the two places. However, I like the option of taking your own ingredients instead of waiting for them to bring it to you... It's more fun lol. My friends were constantly appreciating the food and how yummy it was, so it's worth it still. I read that the premium upgrade isn't worth it, but I can't comment on it without ordering it. However if you are a big mussels/shrimp person, the regular option is good enough without losing an extra $20 per person.

Yelp
Decent hotpot that is all you can eat. I was actually hoping for a la carte but they didn't have that option. The meat was pretty good. The vegetables and other incidentals were fresh. They had a good variety of things to make sauces. Next time I go I'll come hungrier.

Yelp
Really disappointed to see how downhill this place has gone. We used to frequent it regularly, but they have recently pivoted to an All You Can Eat model. Even the base price for AYCE is quite high, and especially not worth it if you are vegetarian or have dietary restrictions. It feels like they shifted to this model as an excuse to cut costs on labor, since the restaurant was extremely understaffed, which resulted in terrible service. It often took multiple attempts to have someone answer our questions or refill our water and soup stock, and we were waiting for our check for about 30 minutes after their own self-proclaimed cutoff time of 2 hours per table. The ingredient variety and quality has diminished significantly, especially for the potatoes and bamboo, and the beef meatballs tasted rancid. There weren't as many vegetable and mushroom options as before, and ingredients were sitting out in the buffet area for a significant time. The serving utensils were dirty and there wasnt enough for each ingredient, leading to the possibility for cross contamination. Considering there are so many new hotpot restaurants in the area, we won't be going back.

Yelp
I recently visited Liuyishou Hotpot on a late Sunday evening and, unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. There wasn't a wait, which I thought was a good thing at first, but in hindsight, it might have been a sign. The restaurant wasn't very busy, with only about five other tables, but the service was quite slow and inattentive. I often had to flag down a busser who would then get a server to assist us. For the food, we chose the tomato soup and house spicy broth, but neither really stood out. The meats were pretty standard, though I did appreciate how quickly the food came out after we ordered. For the price, I think I'd prefer to visit Happy Sheep or even Dollar Shop next time.

Yelp
Broth is extremely bland, and has no flavor. Please see how happy lamb makes it. Pretty much every broth of happy lamb is full of flavor. Meat cuts were good, service was fast. But it felt like eating meat cooked in plain water. That broke the experience for me.

Yelp
Delicious AYCE hot pot spot! High quality meats and flavorful broths! Parking is super convenient because they have a parking lot. Ambiance is nice and clean. Sauce bar was well maintained. My husband and I indulged in their premium wagyu and seafood AYCE hot pot and there were so many items to choose from! We got the split broth - tomato and their spicy broth which were both very tasty! I was really happy that the premium included their sauce bar and all-you-can drink beverages which were noted on the menu. Sauce bar had a nice variety and they also had ice jelly! SO GOOD! I was pretty obsessed with their wagyu items. Everything was such good quality! Their beef skewers were also really tasty and flavorful and I really enjoyed their noodles that went well with the hot pot. Overall, this spot is one of our top spots for hot pot! We really love them and service was so friendly and efficient! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Came here with a reservation for 5 for lunch on a saturday. We didn't want to do AYCE so we ordered individual items. Didn't manage to take pictures since I was with people who don't post things. But we got a split soup with golden chicken and the special soup base. We ordered the normal beef dishes and also did the deep fried dragon beard, seafood platter, and the dried and crisp vegetable (gong cai) on their menu. The beef was pretty good but my favorites were the fish inside the seafood platter and the gong cai since the texture is great and they have a nice wide cut. We also got the sauce bar and the signature fruit tea. The fruit tea was pretty good since it's refillable and not too sweet.

Yelp
The food was good and the wait was not bad. I wanted the ring of meat which I did not know was not all you can eat and I came there for the all you can eat so will want to try it next time!! Did not know if you are a smaller party though you share the table with another small party which is fine but a warning before being seated would have been good to know!! Will stick to their non spicy soup bases though because even with one spice the spicy soup base was indeed very spicy for my low spice tolerance!! The pork belly and sliced beef were my favorite. Love their fresh mango juice and the pitcher it comes in.

Yelp
New favorite spot! I decided to go here on Saturday evening because I knew that most other places would be quite full. Upon arriving there was a few parking spots left and once parked we joined the waitlist and were seated about 45 minutes later. We got the AYCE and ordered a bunch, we received soooo much meat and noodles and mushrooms and everything. The meat was very delicious, the sauce bar was packed with options, and other premade foods like egg rolls, fries, donuts, salads, and fruit. And, the sauce bar was free with AYCE. The service was great, and the broth and food was amazing, for only $40 per person it was a fantastic deal and I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Great spot in Bellevue for hot pot! You can choose between AYCE and a la carte. AYCE is $35 for lunch and $40 for dinner and weekends which is comparable to other hot pot places. The restaurant is spacious with a good size parking lot. They offer a variety of meat, seafood, vegetables and noodles. The sauce bar is also free with the AYCE option which also offers some apps and desserts! My favorite was the thinly sliced meat that they slice at the kitchen window when you order. The soups are also flavorful without being too oily
google avatar

Yelp
Housed in the old Noble Court, the inside of the restaurant is still nice. The staff is beyond helpful, nice and sincere. The food is comparable to any other AYCE Hot Pot restaurant. The one perk is that the sauce bar is included in the cost.
google avatar

Jana N.

Yelp
Hot pot was a great idea on the cold night that I went, however I was sad that this restaurant took the place of Noble Court which was one of my favorite places for dim sum. In any case, we went around 8:30pm so it wasn't crowded and we were seated right away. They have an all you can eat option but chose the a la carte option this time. The menu had good clear pictures and it was easy to order, and the service and food delivery were super quick. I think they have a good variety of meats, veggies and more plus a side bar with other side dishes and desserts. All of the food tastes fresh and delicious and I would definitely go back for the all you can eat option.

Yelp
Liuyishou Hotpot is a solid spot for hot pot around Bellevue, especially if you're looking for an all-you-can-eat option around town. We enjoyed coming here for lunch with friends as there were plenty of options and the employees were friendly. We made reservations for the six of us, which you can easily do online through Google. We visited on a Saturday at lunch time and the place wasn't too busy, but there was a good amount of people dining in. Therefore, if you're planning to feast with a group, make reservations. You'll be seated immediately. The space is located off of 140th across the Safeway shopping plaza, so is easy to find. This used to be an old dim sum place, but they've done a great job renovating the space, making it modern and spacious. For the six of us, we were seated in a large booth and shared one hot pot, with two flavors. My partner and I chose the golden chicken broth while our friends had the pork bone one. For the AYCE option on weekends, its about $40, which seems like a standard price for AYCE hot pot and comparable to another AYCE hot pot spot nearby. You get plenty to choose from, with different proteins, veggies and starches. With the hot pot, you also get free range of the sauce bar where you can make your own dipping sauce for the meat, and they have small plate items, like appetizers and fruit. You'll have to ask the staff for the strawberry ice cream when you're ready for dessert. Highlights for me were the thinly sliced beef, fried rice, fresh tofu and napa cabbage. But most importantly, the golden chicken broth was the best part - as it should be. It had a lot of flavor for the goods to soak in. I would get this broth again even though there is a good variety of different broths to choose from. All in all, Liuyishou is definitely an option if you want AYCE hot pot in Bellevue.

Yelp
This is a catch-up review to remind myself I have eaten here before. :) When I went, it was not all you can eat format, which I like a lot! I enjoy over-ordering and taking home my leftovers. I am disappointed that they switched to AYCE. The place is well-layout. The food is the right portion for the individual dishes and cost. We tried many items, and they let us take home the leftovers. It was AWESOME. Anyway, we ordered: Liu's House Special Soup Base House Special Pork Bone Soup Base Sauce Bar for two people Liu's Beef & Lamb Platter Seafood Platter (small) Signature Tofu Skin (small) Wintermelon (small) Hand-Made Noodle Honestly, we enjoyed all our food. The soup is what makes the difference doing a hotpot, and we like both of ours. We took our sweet time enjoying the food. It was more expensive to order a la carte vs the AYCE pricing now, but we also took home plenty of leftovers including the soup!

Yelp
First time trying hot pot, which is similar to Japanese shabu shabu. Stop by here the other night with another family to do Chinese hot pot. Similar feel to a Japanese Shabu place, but the broth are definitely different. In addition, the meats or à la cart, as well as all the other items. The beef was on par with other Shabu places, but I thought the fish was a little bit on the frozen side and took longer to cook. Do be aware that you share a giant pot that can be divided into three but overall you are really sharing and don't have your individual pots. Overall a very pleasant experience and will definitely try it next time again.

Yelp
Very good. All you could eat and ate a lot. Stayed for a while too and there was no time limit. There were also a lot of side dishes and desserts.

Yelp
Went on a Friday night, it was pretty packed but they had another side dining area. The only difference was they had the gas burner versus the flat induction. Which was fine since we didn't want to wait another 45min. It worked out in our favor because the main dining room was really warm when we went to the sauce bar. They had authentic Chinese ingredients and the meat was so fresh! Everything was sliced to order. The sauce bar had all sorts of condiments plus pig ears, fruit and other things. They also had Chinese tea eggs, buns and sesame balls. Everything was delicious and AYCE has lots of options! Service was decent, wished they came by a bit more often but they were so kind with every interaction! The main dining area is definitely more 'instagrammable' but I prefer the side dining area which was a lot cooler (temperature wise) and less crowded.

E U.

Yelp
Meat quality is than haidilao and happy lamb. Sauce bar is not as good as others. All you can eat is $44/ person now.
google avatar

Erica Z.

Yelp
A bit pricy for me, but the sauce bar and food in general are good Likes: Pacific white prawns Hand cut snakehead fish fillet Selected lamb House special marinated beef Dislikes: Donut with shrimp paste Deluxe sliced beef (easy to overcook, not tender but not terrible) Sole fillet Fried tofu skin Shrimp paste (usually my fav at hotpot but not the best here. Decent though)
google avatar

Erin W.

Yelp
I've been to this hotpot place many times as it's cost-efficient and delicious!! You order from a big piece of paper menu. Highly recommend beef and lamb wheel which is Instagram-worthy and the golden chicken soup base which is very fresh and delish. You can also see they slice the fresh meat right there in the kitchen. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The restaurant is cute and decorated with many cute stuffed animals. I recommend getting a reservation esp for on the weekends. Parking can be a little difficult as the parking spots are usually taken during normal meal hours.
google avatar

Wennie H.

Yelp
Pretty good experience, good selection of hot pot add ins and overall flavor of things is pretty strong. Total was 90 before tip, that's not with the AYCE either ($40 each). I liked the snack bar with flavorful tea eggs and little soggy egg rolls, there were also shrimp chips, mantua and red bean filled sesame balls (greasy), it was all warm and a bottle of condensed milk. The sauce bar had a few cold "salads" that I enjoyed (black fungus, celery, peanuts, carrot and a cucumber one). We ordered the spicy soup (hottest level) and mushroom and Chinese herb split soup, fatty beef and pork belly platter, half cabbage, crown daisy, mushroom platter, tofu skin, and lotus. Desserts were ok, sago was fine and clear jelly was just meh. I want to give more stars but my partner had pretty bad stomach aches that night and the next morning so we threw away the leftovers.

Yelp
Liuyishou was great for a comforting meal! We came as a large party of 8 and were seated in a private room which was nice. Extensive broth and toppings menu. Everything is a la carte. They have a sauce bar to go with your hotpot as well. The meat ring is definitely a must. Service was super prompt and friendly. Ambiance was casual and also elevated - felt clean and welcoming. Definitely would visit again!

Yelp
Came on a Saturday for dinner at around 7pm! Unfortunately we had to wait about an hour for 5 groups in front of us, but it was worth the wait. My party got a half Golden Chicken soup and a half Tomato soup base, and they gave us extra tomato paste at the start to mix into our broth! At a $40 price point per person, I was surprised to see that they only did three "rounds" of servings. However, after seeing the first serving, I understood - they give a LOT of food for each plate. It was surprisingly great value and amazing quality of food. My favorites were the sweet potato vermicelli, both cuts of lamb, frozen tofu, quail eggs, and sole fillet. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the fish because I am not normally a fan of seafood in hot pot. Outside of the hot pot, I also really liked the tea eggs and the fruit tea. I would not recommend getting the fish balls with fish roe or the sesame balls, unfortunately. I also wish they had a bigger selection of veggies or at least had bokchoy! I would also add a note of caution for potato and crab, since they get lost easily or broken up easily... so you should ask for a net if you get those items. I would definitely come back for AYCE hotpot! I loved the service here and the selection.

Yelp
Our group decided to try Liuyishou Hotpot for their AYCE dinner option on a Friday evening - we made a reservation in advance as we figured it would be busy for a weekend night and it was! Parking is also a bit tricky so I'd give yourself extra time to find a spot. We were sat towards the back near the party rooms and given menus. You mark the quantity of the items you want on a paper sheet and get 3 rounds of orders for the AYCE dinner. Items came out quickly and I appreciate that they offer smaller portions so you can sample a lot of options on the menu. Overall, we enjoyed it, but had a few complaints that would make me hesitant to return quickly... - The station serving sides and desserts was frequently emptied and weren't refilled throughout our entire dinner. - We were seated next to a party room of unsupervised screaming young children. I get this was just unlucky, but nobody seemed to do anything about 12 kids with no supervision screaming at the top of their lungs which made it extremely hard to have a conversation or enjoy our meal - Overall it felt really cramped and not very clean. We typically visit Haidilao for hot pot and wanted to give Liuyishou a shot. It was more affordable and had a lot of variety. I wanted to enjoy it more, and feel that it could be a better experience if we give it another chance. More realistically I'd say it was a 3.5, but I hope to give it a higher rating once I give it a try again.
google avatar

R. W.

Yelp
Food is good, I'll give them that. But, man, this place is filthy. Floors under the table are slick with grease, windows are flyspecked and gross, table wasn't wiped clean, sauce bar has food and spills all over it, trash lying out in the open along walkways, and there's no hand sanitizer in sight. Too bad, since I'd go back for the food, but it's just too grungy and there are too many other good hot pot options out there.
google avatar

Arlene S.

Yelp
This is an overall rating for the restaurant. Food is 4/5 but service is 2/5. Once we decided what we want, we waited for the server to come up but no one checked on us so I had to walked up to a server to hand them my order. We were out of water for a while and I had to waved down a server to help us with refill. There was a female server who seems to be working hard checking on us and various tables but other servers who were just standing around. Their meat combo/ring is great as the meat slices were huge and great portion. I like the combination mushrooms and vegetables to have more variety. I wish there were stronger flavor in the tomato broth but the spicy beef broth was good and definitely gets spicier overtime. I'm not sure if I will come back as the service was a terrible experience.
google avatar

Vanessa T.

Yelp
We came here during lunch time. We did the AYCE and ordered the tomato base and house base soup split. Both the soups were flavorful. They have decent portions! We tried half the menu. It was fulfilling. There is plenty of parking. The service was decent. Overall it's a good spot to have hotpot!
google avatar

Kevin R.

Yelp
Got two different types of broths. They have a sauce/snack bar as well. The deep fried buns with condensed milk is a must!
google avatar

Vivian L.

Yelp
Really good hot pot! Their spicy bases are really spicy even at the lowest spice level, but very flavorful. I would recommend getting one spicy and one non-spicy soup base to have some reprieve from the spice. Their meats are pretty high quality and you can see them slicing the meats to order. We ordered based expecting quantities that we are used to seeing at other places like Hai Di Lao and Dolar Shop and it ended up being way too much! Portion sizes are more generous here so we ended up being stuffed. I would definitely come back again (and order less next time!)

Yelp
I love this spot! Comes here at least 1-2x a month. Love the all you can eat snacks/sauce bar.

Yelp
Liuyishou Hotpot offers an enjoyable dining experience with a wide range of flavorful options. The signature lamb and beef platter is a generous portion, perfect for sharing between two people. The chicken broth, accompanied by raw chicken for cooking, adds an interactive element to the meal. The Liu's signature soup base, despite being labeled mild, still carries a spicy kick. The handmade shrimp paste provided a delightful texture, and the sole filet turned smooth and delectable once cooked in the hotpot. While the food impressed, the service left something to be desired, as it was challenging to get the attention of the waitstaff. On the positive side, the sauce bar offered a vast array of options, including multiple side dishes and dessert soups, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Yelp
First off, as me and my partner walked in, it took 10-15mins for a person to greet us. And the greeting was not so welcoming and warm. Immediately, my first thought is this service is terrible. An all you can eat hotpot? Yes, but like you need good service for your average food, and it wasn't good quality as well. We ordered the most expensive one, and it felt like a complete rip off for the quality of meat they were serving. Super fatty and super chewy, and you're charging $62 per person for this? The only one good thing about the restaurant was how nice it looked. I know better hot pot places and it's not this one, don't fall for the instagram bs and don't fall for their fake "high" quality meat bs. If they had better service, I wouldn't be as disappointed for their low quality.

Yelp
This is my favorite hot pot place. Their sauce bar is the best and their broths incredible. Definitely order 1 star for the spicy numbing broth or you will get burned! Arrive early or get a reservation online so you don't have to wait too long to get seated. They have AYCE options and a la cartridge as well.

Yelp
At first it was going well, the soup and the food came out fast. . . Then it started to go downhill. . We dined it at around 9pm and they close at 10:30pm. It was not a busy night and the servers were fine but our order were missing items in the first round such as rice, that was fine thinking that they probabaly just forgot about it. We ordered a second round that only consist of fewer items such as sticky rice, rice and couple meats. . Without any explanation the sticky rice and rice weren't given, we were overlooking this because we were getting full anyway. During third round, we were trying to order dessert such as ice cream and sticky rice, the main server came and said, "kitchen is closed, no sticky rice", i thought that it was not very nice of them to not inform us what time there kitchen closed and that I informed the other server multiple times that they didn't give us our rice and the sticky rice. I don't know what happened but they all ignored us after that and they did not give our last order of ice cream. I know this may sound petty to some and may not even be a big deal to others but I feel that this is a very poor customer service and I will not return at this restaurant again.

Yelp
This place serves Sichuan (Chongqing) style hotpot, which is unique from other hotpot places! It feels like a very Chinese restaurant (and this is coming from a Chinese person) since they have amenities like a phone charging station and little snacks and deodorizing sprays for after the meal, which is typical in China. The meat selection is definitely a highlight of this restaurant, they offer many fun options like duck blood, goose intestine, and different tripe options. The soup base is also super spicy and delicious, it tastes quite authentic. I love the sauce bar, I was pleasantly surprised that one of the cold dishes contained tripe as well, which you would usually have to pay extra for. We were sat in a separate area from the main booths where there weren't any induction stoves, so the hotpot was placed on a butane burner instead. This also made the pot a lot taller than it would be usually, and since the table was small, I ended up burning my arm on the pot while reaching for some meat. Honestly though, I only have myself to blame for that, but it's just something to note seating-wise. Another note is that one thing they're known for is a platter of raw meat served in a ring surrounding the hotpot, so that everyone has equal access to the meat. Since we were sat at a different area with smaller tables, we weren't able to experience this. This place isn't as pricy as some other high-end hotpot places in the area (eg. Dolar Shop), but we still spent around $140 for 3 people, which is more than some other AYCE hotpot places. I would probably come back here for special occasions only, but even then I would rather choose an AYCE hotpot place. It's definitely worth trying at least once though!

Yelp
This restaurant should close business, hopefully, so they can't cheat customers money any longer. I've only written reviews a few times for very bad restaurants. Liuykishou hotpot is the most worst restaurant. I went there late evening and didn't want to eat too much. I ordered a chicken soup base without checking the price. They charged $27 something. The soup base had only three small pieces of chicken. I tell the server so she gives me several pieces non fresh chicken to add to the base. The hand made fish ball or beef ball and shrimp ball appear to have been frozen a long time, none of them are hand made fresh. The bill was $90(including tax) for two people. My feeling is just like they robbed me. And I paid a $10 tip for the server as is customary in the USA. I should not have paid any extra. I will never eat there ever again.

Yelp
Went here for AYCE today. The food quality was good, but the service was mixed and the rules around ordering are really stingy for the price you pay. Food: Honestly pretty delicious. Meats are great and veggies are fresh. The broths (house special with one spice and the mushroom broth) were really flavorful/rich, and there are a ton of sauces you can mix to your liking. Service : Although a waitress checked occasionally if we needed a refill on our broth (when it was low), she actually got our order wrong multiple times, each round. Which was surprising, considering that you're marking off a piece of paper that they keep. Round 1, we never got our Chinese donut (but got imitation crab instead, which we didn't order). We also got some type of melon as a sub for pumpkin. They folded our ordering sheet in thirds and stapled the order receipt to it, so we had to tear it open so we could order for the other rounds. Round 2, we ordered the pumpkin again, and the right one came out (which means they just messed up the first order?), but they left off an item order that we'd made! They also confiscated our pen, so we had to flag down a different waiter in order to do the third order. By round 3, we were decently content so we ordered two small things with a different waiter, and he was able to help us get one missing item. It took a couple of minutes to flag someone down to help us though. Ordering: You have three rounds of orders that you can make, and item quantity is not adjusted for table size. You're only allowed to place one order of an item for each item. For instance, I was in a group of four and we placed one order of fish balls. The max they give out per round is 2 fish balls, so we had to split the fish balls in each round. This is the rule for several of their items, despite the menu image showing 6+ quantity. They also don't mark off the items on your order sheet once they're delivered, so you have to keep track yourself and keep following up with them when they mess up your order/don't deliver. The only dessert offered was cut up fruits, although the manager offered each of us a free scoop of ice cream (which was a refreshing lime sherbet). While writing this review, I realized that I don't really want to come back, and would not recommend this restaurant to friends. The food is tasty, but if you can't guarantee getting what you order because of the service/mistakes, what's the point? I've never been to a hot pot restaurant that has messed up my order (in the Bay Area & Seattle) or been so stingy with their portions when the price is comparable to other hot pot restaurants. If you're in the mood for delicious hotpot and don't mind subpar service and stingy ordering rules (that aren't really communicated), come here! The food really is great. But if you're looking for a hotpot place with decent service, expect your orders to be correct (or at the least, for them to communicate when they need to sub/change your order), and for your table to be able to split and share order items, pass on this one.

Yelp
Now that it serve AYCE hot pot - it's a 4! The broth was spicy at medium. The sauce bar which included dessert was great. The food coming out was good portion and had a lot of variety. The only thing that could be better is if they have option for premium meat but otherwise everything is great.

Yelp
I'm a big hotpot fan so I was excited to come here and try it. It was decently yummy with lots of standard options and sauces. However, it really is quite mid, nothing was exceptional or different from other hotpot places. The quality of the meat was alright (one of the meat platters we was awful and tasted really off though, definitely a little spoiled). The Seattle and Bellevue area has a huge selection of really amazing hotpot places that match the price with even higher quality and taste. In comparison to those, this place just can't compare but it doesn't mean you can't come here for a decent meal if you're wanting hotpot and nearby.

Yelp
Bizarrely enough that it was our first time visiting after having takeouts for dozens of times. The experience was definitely better for dine-in. It was chill, the ingredients were fresh, the broth was flavorful, and the service was welcoming.

Yelp
I'll tell you this, the meet and everything was really good, and the service was great, the meet was the bad part, felt like it stayed in the freezer for a few months, i have a strong stomach and somehow it really got to me 3 hours later.

Yelp
Food was pretty good. Recommend the duck soup base as its probably the only unique thing there that was really good. Regular hotpot eater and would just say the place can be a lot better. The tables are awful to sit on and the chairs as well. The mild hot soup base for whatever reason had half inch layer think of hot oil. Other than that everything else was alright.

Yelp
I liked it here! There was a lot of variety at the sauce bar and they even have egg rolls and desserts! They have all you can eat option which is a great deal. Service was good. The place used to be Noble Court restaurant back in the day so it was interesting to see the interior change. Overall we loved eating here, it was so good!

Yelp
Awesome hot pot spot! I love that you can get half portions of some of the menu items which is great if you're only here with one other person and want to try more things. I got the house special broth with 1 spice level and I was dying a little. It is SO spicy and I can generally eat a fair amount of spice. I definitely recommend doing no spice if you either can't handle or can only handle a little bit of spice. The ingredients are really good quality too! I love that their meatball selection is all homemade, so they taste amazing and so fresh. I loved the shrimp paste, and the veggies were so good too!

Yelp
Meat was not great quality. Spicy broth tasted like spicy oil and water. The enoki mushrooms were all loose whereas in other restaurants they are bunched up a bit at least so it's easier to eat. It was like eating short thin noodles. Kitchen forgot one plate we ordered, had to ask for it. Whoever is in charge of the music needs to diversify beyond Alan Walker. Spent about $120 for two. Should've gone to HDL instead with that money.

Yelp
Highly highly recommend this place. My first impression it was huge! From the outside it seems that the building is a complex of shops or the size of a big grocery store but the whole building is the restaurant. I liked the cleanliness and the decor throughout like the balloons and statues and stuffed animals all over. They also had a cute prize wheel out front that is free. I won a cow shaped electric fan! I was very impressed by the amount of food included. I was shocked that the giant beef and lamb platter was that big for about $20. Both types of broth were also delicious but I especially loved the seafood one for the tofu and veggies and the house broth for the meat and mushrooms (they absorbed the flavor so well). For my birthday month they also brought a beef "cake" (meat pieces around a block of ice surrounded by cucumber and orange) which tasted softer and richer than the other beef. Altogether it was the perfect amount of food for 3 people and it all tasted so good and authentic!
