Every Single Design Detail Is Crucial to McCrady’s Success | Eater Carolinas

"David Howard worked with custom metal and woodworking studio Reclaimed by Demantin Atlanta to perfect the walnut tasting counter used at McCrady’s; their work produced the inlaid stream of tin that creates the visual of shining metal flowing over wood and allowed the counter to function as integrated storage for stemware, utensils, and other service elements." - Erin Perkins

it was incredibly frustrating to drive 45 minutes to the location only to be told that they do not accept disposable vapes despite saying so on the website. i called 3 times to be sure but was not able to get ahold of anyone, i assumed since the website said "any electronic devices that hold a charge or have a cord" that the vapes would be fine seeing as how they are electronic devices that hold a charge and there was no disclaimer to state otherwise. this place wasted my time and my gas, so be sure they actually accept what they say they do before going.

I used CHaRM for the first time yesterday. I had two old plastic gas containers that were full of very old gas. I emailed them first to be sure they accepted that. Their Executive Director replied very quickly to say they did in fact accept both old gas and the containers. I scheduled an appointment online, which was very easy to do. They run an amazing operation there with drop off stations for each type of material. The whole thing runs very smoothly, and everyone I spoke to there was extremely nice. KUDOS to this group. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

After an annoying experience at another facility, I found Live Thrive/Charm and was very pleased with my experience! The website was extremely helpful to start and upon arrival someone was there to check me in for my appointment and point us in the right direction for our recycling/donations. It appeared to all be outside but it was clean, organized, and staff was very helpful. I was in and out quickly and I’m thankful recycling centers like this exist to keep our earth cleaner and greener!

Live Thrive is great and the CHaRM facility is amazing. It is a one stop drop-off for all my materials. I sort my materials at home so that once I get there all I have to do is dump them into the marked receptacles. Everything has a place. If I don’t know where something goes staff and volunteers help point it out. I went Thursday 1/12/23 and was in and out in 15mins. I had cardboard, wires, glass, metal, plastic bags.

Great place to drop off recycling! I've been multiple times, but this week was the first time I've been since they implemented drop-off by appointment. Scheduling online was simple. I looked at their website diagram of the location that indicates where each thing (plastic/glass/paint/chemicals/styrofoam/etc) should be left. Best of all are the folks at the location who can tell you where to go and what's allowed in case you've forgotten or are unsure if an item is recyclable. I highly recommend CHaRM: it's an eco-friendly place to divest yourself of items without sending them to the landfill. Look at their website, you'll be surprised how many substances/items can be recycled. It's quick, it's easy, and it's helping the planet.

I've been familiar with CHaRM's existence since day 1, and have been there numerous times over the years on business, but it was only this past Saturday when I had an opportunity to utilize their services. My son and I made a delivery of a couple of old appliances and a bunch of old paint and cleaning chemicals (about 140 lbs combined). The process was seamless, the staff authentically friendly and helpful, and the experience overwhelmingly positive. The operation is a well-oiled machine, and I applaud CHaRM / LiveThrive's dedication to keeping harmful substances, as well as easily-recycled items, out of our landfills, and securing responsible and sustainable outlets for them. We will be back!

Went for the first time last weekend and everyone was so helpful. When you get to the site there is a huge loop that you drive to different stations (eg styrofoam, electronics, plastics) and drop off your recyclable. Employees are at most stations assisting visitors. I definitely will be going back because they recycle so much stuff!!

Made an appointment, and dropped off a lot at Live Thrive Atlanta. What a tremendous service, and an operation! Doing the right thing for the environment, easy to understand and plan, and the workforce was more efficient than I could imagine. Thank you for doing what you do!
