A New ‘Crochet Cafe’ Is Coming to Capitol Hill This Summer | Eater Seattle

"Opening its fifth location at the base of the Liza apartment building on Eastlake Avenue (across from Rogers Playground), Mioposto is a local wood-fired pizzeria mini-chain founded in 2006 in Mount Baker. I mention that the restaurant is also a brunch destination thanks to its array of breakfast pizzas topped with bacon and eggs, and the new spot should open early next year." - Harry Cheadle

Visited a friend who lives here and it was absolutely gorgeous. We used the kitchen area along with the rooftop overlooking lake union, which I could not get enough of. Everything was super clean and seemed well maintained. We also met some other residents in the building while barbecuing and everyone was really nice. Looking forward to more visits here!

I absolutely love this building! I know a couple that lives here and visit them every now and then. The modern design is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and welcoming, they also have a lot of accommodations like a gym and rooftop balcony with a BBQ and kitchen that can also be reserved if you wanted to host a gathering there. Oh, and the view is to die for!

Jalen DeSisto has provided an exceptional experience during my relocation to Seattle. His dedication to making residents feel welcome was evident from day one. The Liza offers an excellent location and amenities, and Jalen went above and beyond in providing comprehensive information about what to expect as a resident. Since moving in, my experience has exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend both the property and Jalen's outstanding service - 5 stars!

I moved into Liza this past summer, and my experience here has been nothing short of spectacular. Much of this is thanks to Jalen (the primary leasing contact I've worked with) who exceeds the highest standards of helpfulness and responsiveness—my move-in process was a breeze thanks to them and the other wonderful staff at Liza! I highly recommend that anyone seeking to rent in Seattle check out Liza, as what you get for what you pay is the best I've seen in this city.

I love living at Liza! I've been here for about 4 months. The staff are 10/10, friendly and professional. I always get compliments when friends come over. I toured 10+ properties and this was easily the one. Also the Eastlake neighbor is lovely and Liza is walking distance from Otter Bar, Pecado Bueno, Eastlake Coffee, and many other restaurants and coffee shops.

Visited a friend who lives here and the facilities here are really wonderful! The rooftop view was spectacular and the deck area was really clean. There were plenty of hosting space for a big group on the deck and in the shared indoor gathering space. Looking forward to more gatherings here!

After Two years of leasing at different complexes in the greater Seattle area, we could not have been more pleased with finding and signing with Liza. Believe me when I say it was a long journey and moving here was a blessing. My partner and I were previously living in Eastlake at another complex very close to Liza. We were not on the market to sign right away as we were locked in for several more months per our previous lease agreement. But because we were not satisfied with our past place, we were aimlessly looking to see what's available in preparation for when we do move out. We drove past Liza multiple times and decided to take a look. We were warmly greeted by Ellie! My personal fave here at Liza. She conducted the apartment tours and gave us detailed and honest descriptions of each unit including the property as a whole. After the tour, we left and thought more and more about how much we actually liked this place. So we came back and checked out more units. I was hoping Ellie wouldn't show us the units with views because we knew we would sign lol. She sold us and we couldn't thank her enough because we feel so at peace, safe, and calm at our place. It's safe to assume that we ended our lease early just to live at Liza. To get into detail about the building, I would say it is primarily quiet with minimal foot traffic in and out of the building. As someone who works from home, this component in a living space is imperative to me. As a young professional, I can also appreciate that there are many others here as well. To say the least, Liza is incredibly professional, and the staff is always friendly and responsive. The apartments are spotless and well-maintained, showcasing a modern design that really makes you feel at home! Everything feels fresh and up to date, from the appliances to the common areas. I even asked about their custom scent of the building because it's that good. It's clear that management takes pride in maintaining the property. Plus, the location is convenient. Close to the freeways and walking distance from Starbucks. I highly recommend Liza Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish place to live!

This building highlights its clean energy award, but in my experience, the actual efficiency did not fully meet my expectations. Residents are charged a noticeably higher monthly fee for common area electricity compared to other buildings I’ve lived in, even those with more amenities. This raises questions about how much the green features truly benefit residents versus serving as a marketing point. Additionally, the AC and heater settings are restricted. While the LG split unit looks modern, the minimum cooling temperature feels relatively warm in summer, and the heating is also limited in winter. Even at the lowest temperature they dont cool the room enough the LG units are not good so please dont pick this place because it has AC because its pretty useless. Also their gym is really small with just 2 treadmills. The AC in the gym does not work and they are not even fixing it. They just have one single small fan trying to cool the whole gym but fails completely.
