Liza Eastlake

Although I didn’t end up leasing but I wish I could. I had a tour scheduled for Friday afternoon which I ended up cancelling. Leasing agent (Matt or Matthew)was kind enough to accommodate my request for tour Friday late evening. Love the building. Security wise top notch. Good security system in place. View from building was pretty nice. One side lake and other side a park which is shared by children’s school during the first half of the day but open for everyone later. Well maintained park and best thing for your dog. Couple of good cafes nearby. Wouldn’t say many great option but bunch of good ones. Quite peaceful neighborhood. You’d love if you like solo walks next to lake.

I had a great experience with Ivan at Liza Eastlake. He was consistently kind, professional, and responsive throughout the process. He took the time to answer questions clearly and made everything feel straightforward and stress free. The property itself is well maintained and pleasant to live in. Overall, a positive experience and a property I would recommend.

Beautiful property and had some nice amenities especially the gym. Although my girlfriend and I did not rent here, Ivan and the leasing office were very friendly and attentive. They were helpful in answering my questions and provide good insight to the area while we looked for a place to rent. Highly recommend checking their properties out!

I want to give a constructive honest breakdown review for those considering Liza. This is gonna be a long one so buckle up Firstly, I rated them a 4/5 because the management actually did not screw up or gave a unreasonable large Move Out Bill. So you get a extra star bumping up this review to a 4/5! Thank you! Let’s get into it…. Remote workers - I would only consider moving here IF you are on a higher floor AWAY from the street so water view. Why? So many daily construction noise and drilling all day everyday sometimes at night. Construction will probably be done by 2028. So just know even if the street apartments are CHEAPER don’t do it and save yourself - move into the more expensive West facing units For those who own a car, it’s gonna be rough finding parking if you value saving time and headache - probably not the neighborhood for you - no fault of Liza No parking and construction is NOT Liza fault BUT, it sucks and it definitely affects your mood overtime. Breakdown: - fantastic amenities (5/5) - best rooftop view of Seattle - gym (3/5) honestly who uses an apartment gym anyways? Let’s get real here - kitchens (5/5) -washers and dryers (2/5) - AC units (3/5) - cleanliness (3/5) I heard it’s getting more clean but, cleanliness is NOT due to residents but their lower budget cleaning company from what I heard -Neighbors: 5/5 super cool people and diverse backgrounds (NOT everyone is in tech so refreshing) -COMMUNITY VIBES : 5/5 I did make friends while living here - resident events pretty much non existent right now before I moved out -Management rating for only Ivan and Matthew : 5/5 (eventually we vibes and they showed empathy) My advice for management - you need to keep residents happy lots of residents are moving out for number of reasons You need to host 2x monthly residents events to keep them happy and show empathy. They are exhausted from living with construction and fighting for parking Give out breakfast on th go everyday REDUCE RENT like you can’t be charging that much with everything going on right now This is what you can control right now - tell your corporate to GIVE YOU BUDGET or else you will continue to lose residents and bleed money in this property Eastlake will be the new spot in 2 Overall I was enjoying my stay here but had to move out due to construction and mental health and high rent that I could no longer justify I truly miss Liza though!!! Wish it was a different story -GV

I used to love living here but the current management has ruined it. Our old team was kind, courteous, responsive and the building was amazing. Now there are constant issues that go unaddressed, an influx of new (rude) people in the office who seem to be doing nothing but gossiping amongst themselves or ignoring residents, and building issues that affect residents that mgmt is constantly unaware of and slow to respond to. There’s a reason most people are leaving… Paying for a luxury building should not come with downgrades as they have the nerve to ask for rent increases while taking away the level of service, cleanliness and efficiency most of us signed up for in the first place.

The building itself is great, but the new leasing team has been extremely disappointing. I was told there would be a parking spot if I signed the lease immediately. When I picked up my keys, I was informed there were no spots available and that one would likely open up in a couple of weeks. It’s almost two months, I’m still parking on the street. Street parking in this neighborhood is brutal. If get home late, it’s nearly impossible to find a spot.

Matthew was the absolute best! He was patient and understanding throughout the whole process. I wish all leasing consultants were like him! The Liza property itself was gorgeous.

Visited a friend who lives here and it was absolutely gorgeous. We used the kitchen area along with the rooftop overlooking lake union, which I could not get enough of. Everything was super clean and seemed well maintained. We also met some other residents in the building while barbecuing and everyone was really nice. Looking forward to more visits here!

I moved into a north facing one bedroom June 2024 shortly after the building opened. My unit is equipped with two mini split heat/AC units. The system throughout the building groaned for a couple months until they figured it out. My complaint arose when they took away everyone's choice of temperature June 2025. Previously I operated my units from the LG app from my phone which I connected to my Google home system so everything was voice-controlled. I kept my window open and a fan going and along with the twice weekly nighttime drum circles, three dumpsters being pushed in the morning, and pollution from neighboring I-5, I woke up sweaty and annoyed. I put in a work order to allow me to put my AC temp where I needed it, but they would not put that power in my hands. The Eco nannies of this building took their stand in time for Independence Day. But who's celebrating? Additionally, the building doesn't offer adequate paid parking and with Eastlake Ave E enduring constant road construction in preparation for the Rapid Ride J line, I'm constantly playing musical chairs to find a parking spot for my Tesla when I return from work in the evening. When Teslas were enduring hostilities, I was still parked on the street and drained my battery nightly having my cameras running because they rented out EV parking spots in the building to non-EV's and there were 36 people ahead of me for a parking spot. I drive extensively for work and like many others who inquired for overnight parking from neighborhood businesses, nobody would accommodate. There was almost a negative attitude that LIZA had come in and now zone parking was extremely tight and generally unavailable when I return home from my job. I had a month of anxiety over my Tesla, but fortunately only one car break-in since I moved in. $500 to fix that window. Another fun story, the day before I was to move in there was an active crime scene at the Kirkland apartment complex I was living in. I contacted LIZA to see if I could pick up my key a day early and just sleep on the my floor because I didn't feel safe at my unit. The leasing agent apologized and said there was nothing she could do, and that she hopes that I could come up with something. For what I'm paying to live here, I had hoped to encounter some flexibility. Although the leasing agents are very professional, you won't get that from the type of "upper" management they have here at Liza.
