The Best Restaurants in Provincetown, Massachusetts | Eater Boston

"Lest lunch and dinner get all the love on this list, venture off Commercial Street and hit up Liz’s for bountiful breakfasts, which are served until 2 p.m. — an act of downright charity considering Ptown’s legendary late nights. You can’t go wrong with its breakfast sandwich — a fried egg with cheese on a Portuguese roll — and should absolutely opt for spicy linguica or chourico Portuguese sausage. Other dishes globetrot, too. Take the Norwegian three-egg omelet with smoked salmon and scallion cream cheese, and the Florentine, a standout on the six-plate strong Benedict menu, which sees fresh spinach and roasted tomato atop two poached eggs on an English muffin, with the whole shebang lovingly covered in hollandaise sauce. Find handmade pastas, generous salads, and more on the lunch and dinner menus, too." - Nathan Tavares

Excellent experience. Ate on patio - with fire by the table- which kept us plenty warm. Some were offered blankets - such service! The music was pleasant and helpful. Service amazing - there when needed but not in your face. Pear Cosmo was not overly sweet - so good we got a second. The eggplant Parmesan was the best I've ever had- super thin and flavorful. The bouillabaisse had perfect amount of saffron and fennel. The fish was tender and just right amount of shrimp and clams. We were lucky to get a table and get such a pleasant experience. Don't miss this!

If in Provincetown on Cape Cod definitely recommend eating at Liz’s cafe. Had a late breakfast there - oh my! Service was excellent, friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food was more than plentiful and meet all my expectations for high quality food. Prices are very reasonable and coffee was smooth and delicious.

Tried a mezcal/tequila cocktail to start that was delicious food was awesome across the board- mussels, burger & chocolate cake with wine & an espresso martini. Only slight points docked because the bartender only told me about only 1 of the 4 specials they were running that night. I heard another server talking about them and I still hadn’t ordered. Also heard the bartender mention them to other guests, but not to the guest directly next to me to whom he also only mentioned the 1. Was weird. Otherwise service was friendly and the food was all very well executed. Space is very quaint. Will go back to try more of the menu- like the chicken Milanese.

Google
Short review: the food was great. wine menu was great. service was really good. and prices were reasonable. go here for an elevated yet intimate dinner experience while in P-Town.

Google
Amazing food in a cute restaurant just off the main road in Provincetown. We had the cheesy garlic bread and the shrimp scampi and both were delicious. It was a cold evening with no space inside but the staff did everything they could to make our meal outside as comfortable as possible despite the wind. In good weather, their outside patio would be perfect. Highly recommend trying the food here!

Visited for my birthday breakfast while on holiday in P-Town. Easter weekend and the place was packed. We were lucky to get the last two bar seats. Food came out super fast and was fresh and delicious. I had no idea what to expect with the Flippers, but no regrets at all. Hubby had the egg sandwich which was also excellent 👌. The staff were very friendly and the vibe felt 'local' with them seeming to know many of the customers.

Google
Amazing food and drinks with a good service and kind attention from owners. The bouillabaisse and Code Florentine were amazingly delicious. We had nice and delicate cocktails such as smoked old fashion and margaritas which paired perfectly with food. We’ll return as soon as possible. Be aware you need reservations the place is very very busy.

Google
Hubby and I come here annually during his birthday trip to ptown. It's always the weekend before "opening weekend" for ptown, and we never wait longer than ten minutes to get a breakfast/brunch seat here. Servers are always cheery and friendly, food is always flawless. An absolute staple.

Yelp
The best place to get breakfast in Ptown! The potatoes were divine. Lots of outdoor seating.

Yelp
In Provincetown for Bear Week, from Palm Springs, CA, we stumbled across Liz's on our bicycle wanderings. Noting that it was always super busy when we passed by, we decided to check it out for dinner. We are so happy we did. Everything about our experience at Liz's was perfect. Indeed, we enjoyed our Sunday night dinner so much that we returned the next Monday night. The go-to starter has got to be the mussels in a delicious Portuguese sausage preparation. The muscles were so fat and tender. Apparently, that's how the local muscles are this season. Our main courses were perfectly prepared, New York strip and a Cod Florentine on our first night and a braised short rib and shrimp scampi on the second. All delicious, but the braised short rib was the best I've ever had. What makes every dish on the dinner menu, I can only assume based on our dinner selections, is the deliciousness of the sauces. Wow. The cocktails were perfectly prepared and the wine pairings we chose made our food sing. :) And compliments to our wait staff on both nights. Our waiter the first night was our bar tender the second. Also, Kudos to Dimitri, our waiter the second night. We also liked Liz's because it is not on Commercial Street, though close, and that it doesn't offer up lobster rolls. ;) Prices are reasonable.. Reservations recommended.

Yelp
We had dinner at Liz's Cafe earlier in the week and loved it so much we booked another table for three nights later. The dining room is super cozy and warm with great service and a fun bar for people-watching. We also sat outside in the patio area that has greatly improved (in comfort and rain protection) since they took over the parking lot during COVID. The food, service and ambience are all outstanding at Liz's Cafe! Our server, Diego, was fantastic and the manager (whom we think is named Chuck and is unfairly aligned in some reviews from several months ago) was so welcoming and accommodating. We even had a rare sighting of Liz herself as she is on-site nearly every day. In addition to cocktails, we enjoyed a number of dishes -- Shrimp Scampi, Eggplant Parmesan, Portuguese Kale Soup, and Pesto Pasta with Sausage. All were among the best dishes we had during our entire week in Provincetown. Kudos to Liz and her team for offering a terrific respite to the over-priced, tourist-focused restaurants on Commercial Street. She has figured out how to bring in the visitors AND the locals and charm both groups with her delicious food and gracious hospitality.

Yelp
The food and service are always amazing. Breakfast lunch or dinner you're not gonna get a bad meal at Liz's Café. We love this place. you can eat on the patio or inside. Warm and friendly on the inside. On the patio they have beautiful gardens and umbrellas.

Yelp
Best experience. First one was a drizzly morn. We had our dog and at first the outside patio was closed. A server volunteers to serve us outside so we appreciated it and had the best breakfast. Coffee is some of the best I've enjoyed. French toast eggs and turkey bacon did not disappoint! My husband had corn beef hash which he said was fab. Our Ace enjoyed bits and pieces of our breakfast. He really loved the turkey bacon which was thick and tasty. Highly recommended. Went a second time and plan on it being our final meal before heading north to ME.

Yelp
The food is great! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, the staff is great and hostess' were great in getting us in even when there was a wait they were on top of it and their sense of urgency is great. The atmosphere is so nice and very whimsical. 10/10 (the only suggestion is that the sausage is a little big for my liking but very tasty!)

Yelp
Excellent breakfast spot in Provincetown. We came here twice during our brief stay. They have a decent amount of seating inside and three igloos outside. The igloos were quite comfortable and warm. I got the fried chicken and waffles and the home hash. The fried chicken was delicious and indubitably one of the best I've had. The home hash and poached eggs were also delicious. Service was quick. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend coming here.

Yelp
Not sure how this place gets such rave reviews. The food here is fine/average. I had the Cobb salad which was a typical Cobb. I also tasted the Mac and cheese and fresh fruit. All of it tasted fine, but nothing stood out / signals any more than 3 stars. Service was friendly, and they have a ton of umbrellas for shaded outdoor seating.

Jay B.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast! Wish the home fries were a little more seasoned but the jelly for the toast is UNBELIEVABLE! Always a staple.

Yelp
5 Star ALERT!! I would highly recommend this breakfast spot if visiting ptown! They have a lot of outdoor seating as well as indoor. Expect a wait if visiting in peak summer time! We were told 45 minutes and probably waited 30. But they take your number and call your cell when ready (this is huge!!!) We sat at the bar and the bartender gave us some of the best service. Huge shout out to him! I think his name was Phillip! What we got: -salmon Benedict - in my partners words "DELICIOUS!" - hash and eggs - the bartender recommended it and he was not lying!! Some of the best hash and eggs I've ever had! I am not lying! - we also got some French toast and while it was filling, I've definitely had better. So we'd try something up next time. Also the atmosphere is so cute here. I'd say go here to get away from commercial street for a bit!!

remy p.

Yelp
Very kind waiters. It was really good! And in such a cute spot, with great vibes & a nice waiting area!

Yelp
Ok, we went back for breakfast. I usually rarely give 5 stars, but hear me out: It's P-town, a high-end resort in MA. We can brunch anywhere. We chose Liz's cafe. Yellow umbrellas on a patio, really dog friendly (we named new friends just by sharing treats), cool staff (yes, they did care for the comfort of our dog) and accommodating kitchen. We manage to custom- make most of our breakfast items ('can I have fruit instead of fries' and 'we'll, I like THAT dish but I want salmon on the side') and got smiles and 'absolutely' attitude. Great house coffee (I know!) and greet drinks!! To the owner: keep up the good and relaxing atmosphere - it's a winner! To all: we'll probably be back for breakfast before leaving p-town. And, considering the choices for food in the area, that says a lot!

Yelp
This has been a favorite of mine for years! Their scrambles as delicious!! If you are a diehard sweet lover get the flippers - you will not regret it!! The man behind the bar 98% of the time has the best sense of humor - but seriously the whole staff is utterly amazing! In a time where service isn't always on point this place takes it to a whole other level in the best way! (Thanks for the sippy cup!)

Indira R.

Yelp
Dinner is delicious! Get the chicken Milanese - yum! Calamari also superb. Great waiters and staff. Love the ambiance in the evening. The pancakes are delicious the omelette was just ok. Mimosa was good!

Catherine A.

Yelp
Food and service is EXCEPTIONAL. Away from the tourist traps and worth the walk up to Bradford. There is something for everyone on the menu. We had breakfast and dinner. Tonight's dinner was so flavorful and savory, we reserved a table for tomorrow night. This restaurant understands "love is in the details"....from fresh flowers on the tables to fans for the outdoor tables. You can tell the owner has a passion for the restaurant. Thank you for the hospitality!

Yelp
While walking about P-Town on President's Day weekend we didn't know where to eat and so many places were closed. Liz's Cafe was bright and cheery looking and definitely open, so in we went. The place is small but we were greeted and seated without a wait. Small table in the front window for dinner. Small table near the kitchen for breakfast. Our servers at both visits were friendly and attentive. For dinner I had the fish sandwich and fries. Toni had the short rib dinner special. We both had cocktails. Toni won. The short rib was amazing. Tender. Beefy. Delicious. The fish sandwich was also great. Two pieces of fish. Soft bun. Tartar and lettuce and tomato. We shared a crab cake. Loaded with crab. So good. Breakfast for me was chicken and waffles. Toni got blueberry pancakes. The chicken and waffles were stellar. I won breakfast. The atmosphere is very cute. The lights on the ceiling make the space very inviting. Bathrooms were clean. All the staff were friendly and hustling. Price seems average for P-Town. Not cheap but everything was delicious. Any future trips to P-Town will include meals at Liz's Cafe. I think it is now our "spot".

Yelp
Ahhhh ... best breakfast in P-Town! Very popular spot so be prepared to wait a bit! The smoked salmon Benedict was perfect. Staff are friendly and kind.

Yelp
My husband and I love Liz's. The food is always delicious. We recently sat outside in an igloo and the atmosphere was so lovely. It was romantic and private. We ordered the crab cake appetizer as well as the salt and pepper calamari. Both were delicious. Service was a little less attentive than usual, but we didn't mind because we were enjoying the time together. They also had a great mocktail list that I enjoyed. For dinner, my husband loved the meatloaf, and I loved the chicken Milanese. Everything was delicious and the ambiance was great.

Yelp
Waited for 30 minutes prior to opening. We had a third person coming but they were late. We were third in line. The line was 20 people deep. When we're asked to be seated, they refused to sit us until the third guest arrived. Understandably, but they came 9 minutes later. We got taken off the line and asked to wait, watching 25-30 people at this point, take up nearly all the tables and because 30 people were sat our food was very delayed. It's a weird policy. We would have had coffee, and we still took up a table for nearly two hours. If you're having breakfast here, get there early and make sure you have patience. The food is very good and well worth the wait.

Yelp
Good breakfast option! The Steak & Eggs was quite satisfying. And if preferred, the fruit option was fresh, fresh, fresh and a nice mix of fruits. The Hash Benedict also super hearty and delicious. Good coffee as well. Charming restaurant with very nice service all around.

Yelp
This was our second visit, separated by a year, and this time for dinner. We visit Provincetown each year, off season. It's a small place, very cozy, with quirky but not jarring decor. They have a thoughtful airlock around the entry to keep diners comfortable. A constellation of winking lights makes the ceiling seem to recede. It was nearly full when we arrived and we were seated a few minutes early for our 7:30 reservations. The waiter and bartender were friendly and quick, and I enjoyed a nice creative cocktail with rye, maraschino and my beloved green chartreuse. My short ribs and bashed tater special was very good, and my companion enjoyed her sausage and pasta. It's a nice place, very good food and creative without seeming fussy or pretentious. Prices are fair. We will return.

Yelp
This spot is a total gem! It's worth the walk away from Commercial Street to get here and eat some delicious food. My parents and I came for Sunday breakfast/brunch and it was super busy. We had to wait 40 minutes but it was well worth it. We sat indoors, which has a really cute ambiance. The ceiling is covered with a TON of fairy lights. It must be even prettier at nighttime. We sat at a cozy table by the window and the bar. The bar is very cool - it's a huge boat actually! Our server was friendly and did his best to attend to us despite the place being jam packed. My dad said the coffee was the best he's had in Provincetown so far. I had a black tea and I appreciated that our server offered more hot water without me having to ask. We shared a waffle to start - YUM! My parents and I all agreed it was the best restaurant waffle we'd ever had. Lightly crispy and fluffy. Real maple syrup. Soft butter. It just tasted really homemade and fresh. Such a great start. Then, we each had an entree. My mom got the lobster eggs benedict which she loved. My dad had the hash and eggs, and was impressed with the homemade hash. I had the breakfast sandwich, which was delicious. The Portuguese bun was fluffy and lightly sweet. I had it with ham, which came as a nice thick slice. All in all this by far our best breakfast in Provincetown. Definitely make a stop here on your visit!
google avatar

Shawn W.

Yelp
Great food, atmosphere, and service!! I love how they hold on to the old traditions of the Portuguese community here by having linguica and other local delights. Great breakfast all around, and prepared nicely. Loved this little gem! It gets busy so go early.

Yelp
There's always a line for brunch I've heard but that tells you something right? Right! Good food and great service. Our wait was approximately 35 minutes. But no matter; left my name and cell in case I was not that close by. As we waited, there was an art installation about a block away and I also got to enjoy the outdoor patio where other folks were waiting. It was a gorgeous sunny day and the air quality was good. The outdoor seating is great for larger groups. It's covered with umbrellas and such. You'll get to enjoy the local scenery as well if you're outside. The indoor seating which is where we were, is cozy, has a bistro vibe. Yellow and white striped bench seating, a bar that resembles parts of a ship, and there are currently clear partitions separating the cozier bistro tables for Covid safety reasons. We appreciated that since we sat very close in proximity to the neighboring table. Some tables were clearly meant for two vs four. Can be a squeeze. Onto the food - the flippers are pretty popular in Provincetown. It's a local Portuguese style of fried dough. They look like pillowy triangular donuts. Topped with powered sugar and fresh fruit (optional). Delicious!! I personally enjoyed the Portuguese scramble: linguica, cheddar, peppers and onions. My kids went for the two eggs & choice of meat plates and hubby opted for the Salmon plate (lox and bagel). Everything was plated nicely and the portions were fair. These are not NYC diner style portions so be aware. I've seen other photos where the dishes were not so full looking and it seems to have been addressed. As each plate coming out of the kitchen looked Instagram ready. The coffee was really good and complimentary refills...the staff was good about offering a refill without us even asking. Service was very attentive and the gentleman that managed the seating wait list was very friendly. While in Provincetown, this is a must try spot if you're a fan of brunch any time of day. The menu is simple but covers all the good breakfast eats which is why we came. There are sandwiches, salads and other entrees but I honestly didn't give it a look. I believe some of the egg dishes are served all day.
google avatar

Gregory S.

Yelp
We've been to Liz's three times this week while on Spring Break. You must run here and get the Flipper's! It's basically fried dough with a sweet butter and real maple syrup. I've tried it two different days. First day I poured the syrup all over the second day I ate it with only butter. This is how I typically eat my waffles pancakes etc. excellent both ways! Their hash is homemade and delicious!
google avatar

Kay H.

Yelp
Friendly service. The food portions are big. Nice outdoor seating. Love the fresh creamer with my coffee. Love the food. My husband and I shared No.8. Street parking are free. Next to tue restaurants charge for the parking...

Yelp
We finally got the opportunity to check out Liz's after having seeing it during each previous Ptown trip. I'm glad we finally stopped in because the experience was great all around. I would describe Liz's as a mix between a cafe and contemporary diner. Both the food and interior reflect this feel. Speaking of food, Tony and I visited Liz's for brunch. And while everyone around us seemed to be ordering omelets and mimosas, we had been eating unhealthy all week and were ready for a break. So, we ordered salads. I got the Cobb with Grilled Chicken, and it was super tasty! Tony had the House Salad with Lobster, which he equally enjoyed!! As for the interior, it is inviting but small. Luckily, however, the restaurant features a large outdoor dining area so they can accommodate more folks. We ended up sitting at the bar to eat, which we enjoyed because we got to chat with the amazing and friendly staff. Final thoughts = Check this place out if you hit up Provincetown. I would especially recommend for Brunch!

Yelp
Technically I would rate 4.5, but the rating system forces integers and there are so few restaurants that would ever have no opportunity for improvement and therefore deserve a perfect score. We had lunch outside. We ordered two drinks. The Porch Swing is a sweet bourbon drink served on the rocks. If you like honey this is the drink for you. We loved it. The second drink was a Hawthorne's Mistress. The description was a bit confusing stating Maraschino as one ingredient. We had misinterpreted that to mean Luxardo Cherry Liquor but instead it was in fact just a cherry garnish. Oddly the cherry was a bing cherry and not even maraschino. The drink was strong and served in a coupe glass. Not the best drink though we were obviously expecting something different. We ordered a house salad which was a good portion with a lot of vegetables. Actually a good value at $10 for P-Town. The ingredients were spring mix, red onions, cucumbers, tomato, and shredded carrots. The opportunities were the vegetables and lettuce weren't cut into smaller pieces. Also, we ordered the dressing on the side and it instead was on the salad. The truth is the dressing was terrific and added sparingly which was nice. We also ordered Angel's Italian which was one of the best sandwiches we ever had. The baguette was really more like a toasted brioche in the shape of a baguette but it worked. The ingredients come together perfectly. If you like prosciutto then this is the sandwich to order. The sandwich comes with a pickle spear and bag of cape cod potato chips. The service was fast and they teamed up to fill water and deliver food and drinks. The staff wasn't the most personable but nothing rude or anything. This is a great go-to for morning or afternoon eats.

Yelp
This unassuming restaurant is one or our must-go-to restaurants for breakfast/brunch. Their indoor space is pretty small, probably can fit around people but they have a large outdoor space. It's located on Bradford Street and because of that, it's a bit unknown by day-trippers or tourists. Don't get me wrong, there's still a pretty significant wait time during peak hours, but it's definitely lined with the locals or people in the know! Their must-order menu item is the lobster eggs benedict. Start to finish, everything on the plate is heavenly. Breaking the yolk of the perfectly poached egg is orgasmic. The bread, huge lobster chunks, creamy poached egg, and the hollandaise sauce is the perfect bite. It's crunch, chewy, soft, salty, sweet, bitter, fatty, acidic, etc. I'm not lying when I say it's the perfect composition. Then you have the home fries that are also well seasoned and cooked.

Yelp
My first restaurant experience in Provincetown. Wow! We were able to snag a table around 645p on a Wednesday night. We started with excellent cocktails, one traditional and one Smoke on the Water. Well crafted. Appetizers showed solid skills.... Clam chowder and Portuguese Kale Soup both were perfectly prepared. One would think that one could get perfect clam chowder on Cape Cod! Both dishes had great depth of flavor. Entrees were Rigatoni Bolognese and Pork Tenderloin. Again, excellent cooking here. A well-executed bolognese. And a pork tenderloin that was tender, full of peppery juicy goodness along with couscous and spring mix lettuce. Surprising but amazing. Excellent service and a very warm atmosphere. A keeper.

Yelp
This little spot had full stars on Yelp so I said let's give it a try. The place is small with only a few tables inside. They have more tables outside than they do Inside. We had about a 40 min wait for two which was well worth the wait. We had granola with yogurt which was perfect. It's big enough to share. It had strawberries, blueberries, an over flow of granola and a dab of yogurt. I had an egg white omelette which had spinach, tomatoes, feta, and onions. All fresh. It came with a side of home fries and I got Turkey bacon because I was hungry. My friend got the two egg, pancakes and bacon special. All very good. The coffee was bomb. We also had an Amaro Spritz which is how an aperol spritz should be made! It was the perfect amount of amaro nonino. I really enjoyed this place. The portions were perfect. The service was good. Unless you plan on paying to park in the small lot and spending the day..There is absolutely no parking so if you're driving don't play yourself.

Yelp
Fantastic as always! They were spot on with their estimate of wait time and we were seated outside at the bright yellow and white striped picnic tables. Our wait staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient. We were all happy with our choices.... Florentine Eggs Benedict with Turkey bacon was soooooo good. The eggs were poached perfectly and the tomatoes and spinach had a lovely hit of garlic that just made me so happy. Each bite was full of flavor and different textures- the soft egg, the crunch and soft of the muffin, the creamy garlicky spinach and tomatoes and the Turkey bacon with the salty savory add. My eldest had the pancakes- a home run that we all tried and my youngest had the eggs and hash. I loved that she had options on how she liked her eggs poached -- that takes skills to get right and offer the range! They were perfectly done. I also splurged and had the Queen Mary - not my usually style - but it was good. They also didn't bat an eye when I asked for half caff - love love love how easy that was! We will be back again and again!

Elle P.

Yelp
Delicious food, friendly service, charming spot on Bradford off the hustle and bustle of commercial street. There's nearly always a wait but not to worry, you can take a cuppa outside while you wait for your seat to be ready. The Portuguese flippers are a brunch favorite as is the vegan scrambler. Great place, kind service, good food. Thanks Liz's!

Yelp
Liz's cafe is amazing!!! Excellent food and service is 10/10. So kind and friendly. We all LOVED our breakfast dishes. Every time I'm in p town I will be back without a doubt.

Robert F.

Yelp
Liz is an amazing person and the food has never gone down in quality since they opened. The ambiance is perfect, they definitely kept the je ne sais quoi of Tips for Topsn, which only adds to the experience. I miss the pasta dish from dinner, but I love all of the menu. I'm a big breakfast person.

W P.

Yelp
We love this restaurant BUT ... we had a very bad experience with the manager this evening. Actually, I can't recall ever having been treated more rudely. Our waiter was sweet and the food was very good. However, we were seated in one of the outdoor igloos, which was lovely. It had, what we thought was our own music system - - a Sonos speaker. And, because we are in this private igloo, we thought we could just turn down the music from the Sonos speaker. Apparently, we were wrong because the speaker was connected to the whole restaurant. We would never have known this. We were in for a VERY RUDE AWAKENING-- when the manager burst in to the igloo and yelled at us, no exaggeration. He informed us that this wasn't our home, and we could not just change the volume setting ourselves. Of course, we had no idea that we couldn't do this and we apologized. How would we know. He was so rude, I can't tell you how rude he was. Even when he attempted to apologize, he was still rude. it would be really hard to go back to Liz's and it's really a shame. And, sure, maybe he was having a bad night, but he could've come in later and really apologized or he could've even comped something, but no, he did not. So, we will not be going back.

Yelp
We ate at Liz's 6/26/23 for dinner. We had reservations and biked over and were seated right away. Service was excellent, food was even better. I had the seafood bouillabaisse which had scallops, clams, mussels, cod and was served with a piece of crusty bread. It was divine. My wife had the mussels and my daughter had a lobster roll. We sat outside on a lovely night, the ambience of the patio was lovely and calm. Food was excellent, service was very good. We will be back next time we are in Provincetown.

Yelp
So we finally made it here for breakfast after the lovely dinner we'd had the week before. The weather finally realized it was May and gave us a beautiful day to eat outside with our pup in tow. The food was as excellent as it was last week. My husband had the lobster Benedict and I had the hash and eggs. We also split an order of fried dough, all were amazing. The same person who waited on us last Sunday also waited on us today, so we knew the service would be top notch. The waits will get longer but definitely worth it!!

Yelp
My eye got caught by the few domes outside of the restaurant while looking for parking nearby the Prince Albert Guest House. If you're staying there for overnight you won't be disappointed and this lovely restaurant with great personnel is 3 minutes walk disturb right up the hill. I believe (don't want to lie) you can see the Monument from here (or from the road ). Back to the dining! I always wanted to dine in one of these outdoor domes in the cold weather but never was lucky enough.. so at Liz's Cafe my dream came true. Our dome was extremely cozy in the cold rainy weather, with light music playing, stylish Christmas atmosphere and with fur surrounding us. The food was delicious with some vegetarian options and our waiter was really nice and patient (thank you!)... I will definitely come again when in P-Town, our dinning experience was fantastic!

Yelp
In response to the owner's comment on my review: i completely understand that you were busy, and am not implying that your employees weren't working hard. He was busy...which is where some of the frustration came from. When he was "behind the counter" (1 person, never 2...and not "always" there) it was difficult to get his attention as he was so busy...in fact, i was done eating by the time *I* got his attention to point out that my partners food was incorrect, because we were never asked how things were. He offered to correct the order when i pointed it out, but After waiting an hour to sit, waiting another 45 minutes to get food...we were ready to leave. He took the item off the bill (only a few bites were eaten), which is fair. I understand defending your business and employees, but suggesting that *I* should have "said something" and implying the pictures look good so therefore they must have been good....feels like you are discounting a bad experience. i have far more 5 star reviews of restaurants than i do 1 or 2 star reviews. Perhaps my "dollop" of hollandaise wouldn't have been as bad if the eggs were cooked correctly. But when i essentially have to shout over the counter and interrupt the guy making drinks to ask for a water and finally get his attention to point out the wrong food, because he's constantly back and forth swamped, it's not on ME. We were never asked how things were, we weren't checked on, and I was hungry. So i ate my underwhelming food, my partner sat staring at an omelet he didn't order and a Bloody Mary he didn't enjoy, and when i finally was able to get his attention, we were ready for the bill. BTW...we had almost the exact same food for brunch at Chach the day before. Food, experience...10/10, as reflected in my 5 star review. And they were also swamped.

Yelp
We all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Well- these folks got you covered. We wanted to make sure our day was off to a right start especially since we wanted to trek on the sand dunes later on. Liz's Cafe Anybody's Bar offers almost an all-day menu with a gap in between suiting all needs and tastes: starts off with breakfast and lunch from 8am-2pm then reopens for dinner 5pm-9. Liz is located on Bradford St. I don't know if they take reservations, but we walked in without one. FYI, have your Vax card ready. The place is cute, has long-standing history, wood floors, Nautical pieces and their bar counter rests on a sailboat. Music was a bit like Chill on Sirius and loved it- but it wasn't obtrusive in any way. Service from Jestine was awesome, attentive and so pleasant.... Gracias! My Lobster Benedict (sans Hollandaise as requested) had plump lobster chunks and eggs were poached perfectly. Hubs enjoyed his French Toast topped with fresh berries. Brunch isn't brunch without Mimosas- and ours were good. My Peach Bellini was prepped nicely and hubs' Raspberry Mimosa was spiked with Chambord. This is a nice go-to convenient spot for coffee, brunch, cocktails and bites (almost) round the clock. Hubs and I raved about this one and trust me, there's a reason for it because we had a great time- but something about our meal, wasn't a perfect 5.

Yelp
I have now enjoyed a couple of special meals at Liz's and enjoyed her exquisite catering at a private event as well. All have been over the top! She is a gem in Provincetown, her food is varied, complex, and interesting. The staff at the the event and the restaurant couldn't be any nicer or welcoming. They treat you like they've been your best friends for years. The atmosphere at the restaurant is a total compliment to the food. It feels like your dining in a beloved friends home with all the warmth and coziness that goes with that...Liz's is located on Bradford Street, very convenient to downtown

Yelp
We discovered Liz's this year for our annual Ptown. We went twice during our stay, once for lunch and then again for breakfast. The place is charming and some nice small details are noticed and offered such as fresh flowers, outside heaters, and really good well prepared food. There was one mishap which was correct at breakfast- my hash and dropped eggs came out - cold. Once corrected, it was delicious. We ate outside both times and service was nice and attentive.

Yelp
A bit unorganized with seating, hostess a little rude ( I was told this was Liz) pretty busy place and that shouldnt be an excuse for being rude or making customers feel rushed Seems like they cater more to locals/regulars than tourists. BUT.. gave it 4 stars because we absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED our server.. He was amazing Food was the best in P towne, that we experienced. We just cant get passed how we were greeted & treated at first. We wont be back only because P towne was a one and done.. were from the West. Thank you for the great Bloody Mary too

Yelp
Really good and consistent breakfast. The igloos outside are a fun and private experience. Got the breakfast platter which has pretty much everything for a good price. The blueberry pancakes and the breakfast potatoes are awesome. Recommend!

Yelp
What an amazing place. Great staff and the food is just great too! Can't wait to come back! We loved the outside seating even with the cold weather coming in.

Yelp
When we visit Ptown in the summer we always stop by for breakfast at Liz's. The food has always been good. I love the meal combo where I can get 2 pancakes, bacon, eggs, and home fries for a great price. The ice coffee is pretty good too! The service is fast and friendly and when our friends come with us to Ptown, this is one of the places we bring them. The only hard part is parking since there is only street parking or paying $20 to park in the parking lot next door.

Yelp
We just went to Liz's Cafe for the first time and couldn't be happier! We went for dinner, and the chicken Milanese and Bolognese were amazing! My spicy sailor cocktail was so good too. Great vibe and service! We even chatted with Liz, the owner, for quite some time. So much fun! Highly recommend.
