Breakfast burrito

@eatingalonediariez

Trying breakfast burritos in OC!!!! I didn’t even have a breakfast burritos last time I was in California so i had to get a few in this trip. First spot: Nate’s Korner Overall thoughts: huge burrito, spicy chorizo was wayyy too greasy (I can’t speak for their other meats/burritos), don’t think I’ll come back :/ Second spot: LJ’s Lil Cafe Overall thought

Best breakfast burrito I’ve had in a while! We had the veggie burrito with avocado. They are massive. My pinky felt the weight as I was holding my burrito. The creamy cilantro sauce was fire! The staff is nice. I also appreciated the Christmas music and holiday decor.

LJ Café serves one of the best breakfast burritos in all of Orange County — a true local gem. Their OG Breakfast Burrito is my absolute favorite, packed with savory Portuguese sausage and perfectly crispy tater tots that add the ideal crunch to every bite. The flavor balance is spot-on, hearty without being greasy, and always fresh. Just be sure to call ahead to place your order. the wait can get long, but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it once you take that first bite.

This place makes a strong argument for some of the best breakfast burritos in Orange County. I ordered The OG and their Pastrami Breakfast Burrito. The OG would be my preferred burrito out of the two. I recommend ordering it with the LJ Signature sauce on the side instead of inside the burrito. I also recommend getting their Green Serrano Salsa.

These burritos were hefty! Made two meals out of it! The tortillas are handmade and I love the thinness making it easy to eat. We ordered the breakfast Sammie which was a bit salty due to the bacon but the bread was super soft. We also got the OG breakfast burrito and spicy OG breakfast burrito. Both are the same except for the jalapeños. Crispy tater tots in every bite. They use exactly 3 eggs in each burrito and had Portuguese Hawaiian sausage. Each meal came with 3oz sauce which I appreciate. It’s the perfect size and you can purchase additional. We got signature, salsa and creamy cilantro.

Wow, what an amazing chorizo breakfast burrito! This was my first time at LJ's. The quality of the ingredients was seen and smelled before the first bite. Then came the crunch of the tots which triggered a taste and experience of freshness along with a perfect blend of other flavors from the other ingredients all perfectly balanced proportionally. I had a different chorizo burrito this weekend (another 1st time try at a place close to my house) but it had soggy hash browns (so much that I had to surgically remove some) that really overshadowed and ruins the burrito. This burritos was awesome! I also highly recommend trying the sauces. The hot orange sauce was my favorite then the cilantro cream. The chipotle was also rich and creamy. Thank you LJ's for a yummy burrito experience!

Moved to Anaheim over a year ago and FINALLY found a bomb/fire BREAKFAST BURRITO spot. Everything you crave in your bfast burrito; eggs cooked right with the cheese, bacon, sausage, crispy tator tots - multiple options for salsas. Even the DRIP COFFEE is aromatic. Great welcoming SERVICE! Coming back yesterday! - Edwin Tuna

I had heard about LJ's on instagram and when I saw their breakfast burritos, I knew I had to try it and it was soooo worth it! We ordered the burrito to share (which was more than enough) and a side of tater tot's. The burrito was so good and flavorful. What I loved is how it was full of tater tot's and sausage, not just egg. The Hawaiian sausage added so much flavor. The tater tot's were so crispy and delicious. Overall, a great breakfast burrito that I would recommend! My only thing is that we ordered a side of sour cream and it was almost $2 which is a bit much. The sauces were much cheaper (the LJ's sauce was good).

A must try, great breakfast burritos. I get the OG burrito and an iced Vanilla latte. Tater tots and cheese in the burrito cooked to perfection. My wife gets the veggies burrito and I would recommend it if you’re not a meat lover. Wish there was a location closer to Yorba Linda:)
