Please note that my rating is not based on quality of flooring. When you make a purchase of flooring, please make sure that the salesperson do not over quote the amount of materials needed. I was quoted 7 boxes of flooring more than l needed after I specified my personal estimate. There should never be this much waste! Unfortunately l waited until after the installation before seeking a refund on the extra boxes. It exceeded approximately 12 days beyond the return policy, so l was denied consideration. It's a punch in the gut to eat approximately $354.00.

Where to start with this review? First, I ordered my floors online, and the process was nice and easy. Taylor was kind enough to call me and let me know that the floors had arrived, instead of just sending a confirmation email. That alone shows the level of customer service this place offers. Second, I wasn’t able to fit all of my flooring in my car, so it took several trips to get everything home. Every time I went to the store to pick up a load, Taylor and an associate helped me load each one. As if that wasn’t enough, they also helped me find the perfect color to match my bullnose stair piece! Lastly, the quality of the Hickory flooring I received was immaculate. I’m very grateful for what they do and how they do it. I’ll definitely buy from here again!

Amazing Service and Experience! I had an incredible experience thanks to the store manager(Taylor Trammell) while shopping for LVP flooring. She was so knowledgeable, patient, and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. She helped me pick out the perfect floor that matched my style and budget, and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Her professionalism and friendly attitude made a huge difference — I left the store feeling confident and excited about my choice. Highly recommend working with her if you’re shopping for flooring!

We were very happy meeting Mr. Algernon Bullock who provided us with top notch / outstanding service! He was very knowledgeable, kind, patient, attentive, friendly, funny and was key in helping us decide on a pre finished hardwood floor. We wish we could have come in this store and bought our previous floor instead of buying online. Mr. Algernon made our day. Come in to this store and ask for him, you will be glad you did for your flood selection.

We got lucky with our purchase. Algernon was very helpul in answering our numerous questions. We were not pressured and we given time to think things over and make our purchase over via phone the next day. Happy with the product and service.

I went to LL Flooring looking for something specific which they did not carry, but I had an amazing experience. The man who helped me so incredibly nice and helped me find what I was looking for somewhere else locally.

They went out of business after I paid for 400s.f. of flooring and before my SCHEDULED PICKUP!! Got to love it!!

I had to get flooring for my basement and was looking for a great quality LVP at bargain prices. I was recommended Lumber Liquidators by my contractor. I checked out big box hardware stores and Frazee, but because of the quality and/or the customer service, I went with Lumber Liquidators instead. Elizabeth was super informed and helpful. I really leaned into her expertise as I chose my flooring. Went with the Golden Mead Oak and very happy with my decision. Also. tell them if you're working with a contractor because they had different pricing!

So disappointed by our experience and lack of professional customer service. We paid over $2400 for new bedroom carpet and spent 3 hours prepping our room (moving furniture to other areas of our house, clearing floor space, etc), only to have the wrong carpet installed. Not only that, but it was a defunct roll featuring two colors of carpet. After requiring documentation and multiple calls on my end, they finally ordered and installed the correct carpet after several weeks. However, this company offered no financial acknowledgement of their mistake and of our hours of added labor. No offer to refund, no incentive to do business with them again, no discount. All we got was the run around and excuses every time we called. Very disappointing customer service all around. We do not plan to purchase from them again.

God forbid any employee at this store west a mask during a global pandemic...or during a varient surge with the worst COVID cases on record. We will never shop here again. We tried placing an order (had to wait 30 minutes for the one employee who was masked). The pricing was wrong in the computer - it didn't match the in-store tag OR the price online. Rather than adjusting the order, we had to sit there for another 30 minutes while they figured out how to refund the card. Nightmare.

I strongly encourage potential customers to avoid purchasing flooring from this company. I went to this store in search of durable flooring for my current residence but also a future investment property. I purchased the Tranquility XD luxury vinyl planking in the Brazilian Cherry 4 mm. LL Flooring representatives raved about this luxury vinyl flooring and how it would fit my needs. I was assured it would be an excellent choice for renters as it was water resistant and would hold up well to the abuse that rental properties often endure. I was very excited because the color was just right and it appeared well made. The installation process was fairly straightforward, although they did try to cram it all in on one day and the installers were rushing to finish. They were at my residence from 7am to after 7 pm. I worried this might have impacted their work and come to find out, they had left a long scratch stretching over 3 planks by what appeared to be a razor or some device they used for the installation. I discovered more fine scratching and further imperfections in the flooring over the next week (all pictured in my post). Obviously, this product was much inferior to how it was presented. I basically have to be obsessive about protecting it from every little object that drags across it. To add insult to injury, I wait 3 months for their claims department to make this situation right and I am told the claim is unwarrantable and offered a sum of $250 "in good faith." The company misrepresented what was found in the claims assessment process making it sound like it was all my fault. Pathetic. Meanwhile, if I were to try to have the defects fixed I would have to replace most of the flooring and start all over. To say the least, I am completely heartbroken. I STRONGLY encourage anyone who is considering doing business with this company to seek flooring options elsewhere. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy.

Q is very professional with his customers. He was very detailed explaining the flooring with customers compared to raleigh location. We paid in cash and accidentally miscount it. Q Informed the customer the amount paid and was very honest. I will recommend this place to customers. They are very service-oriented.

My fiancee and I are first time homebuyers and needed flooring quickly. Long story short, the house was missing finished floors in a few rooms, we were given a flooring allowance by the seller, but needed to pick out and install new floors in a little under two weeks before the house was appraised, before moving to closing. Erica helped me throughout the decision making process and was by far the most helpful and patient sales associate I've worked with. I knew nothing about flooring when I walked into the store, but Erica took the time to explain all the different types of flooring, grades of wood, materials, finishes, and underlayments. I showed Erica pictures of the existing hardwoods in the house that we were trying to match and she directed me to the closest matches in the showroom. I came in the store on the last day of their spring sale (great prices!) and even though I hadn't decided on the floor yet, she put my different flooring options in a quote to lock in the sale prices. Talk about great customer service! Erica put up with me coming back into the store once to twice a day for four days in a row. I had to bring samples to the house, get my fiancee to meet me there, get feedback, and narrow down our options, or get more samples. One of the rooms in the house had an unfinished concrete slab floor, so Erica also helped me pick out locking, laminate flooring that would install better on that type of surface. Unfortunately, at the end of this process I had to use another supplier, because the seller was paying for the new floors via their floor allowance and wanted to use a contractor of their choice who had his own flooring supplier. If that wasn't the case I would have used Lumber Liquidators in a heartbeat. They were even nice enough to cancel and refund the fee to have the rooms measured for the final quote. Erica and this store's staff are extremely nice and some of the most helpful people in the industry. I would recommend them to anyone looking for bargain flooring options. I will definitely return when the time comes to put new floors in the basement of our new home. Thanks again to Erica for all her help.

I just had second flooring installation by Lumber Liquidators and it is perfect. Tight plank seams and no furniture harmed. Better than two previous flooring installations my handyman, bless his heart. The good news is that all the laminate and vinyl planks in my house are now Lumber Liquidators products. Pick the 4-5 star products from their display racks and you should be happy. Bonus: They sell Bella floor cleaner by the gallon. That is the best product on market for cleaning, no streaks.

Very helpful & friendly staff... we ordered LVP (luxury vinyl plank) Thankfully they had both colors, we did the kitchen different than the rest of the house) Loaded it in our Jeep although we had to make two trips cause the boxes were so heavy. Lots of different options and colors, great prices. unisex restroom, free parking and wheelchair accessible

They don't support their product. Sold me defective flooring and made it so difficult to get my money back that I just gave up and went to another flooring company. Don't shop here. You'll be sorry.

We recently had laminate flooring installed in our new home. We shopped around and LL could absolutely not be beat on price. This isn't going to be our forever home, but the African Mahogany flooring we selected looks really great. We made our purchase during a promotion and got the flooring for $2/sq ft. We worked with Jason and Tom and both were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We were educated about all the different products and able to ask questions about pros/cons, quality, installation, etc. We went through LL to find an installer and that process was smooth and easy. You call a 1-800 number to set up the install. The operators on the line were good communicators and made that process a breeze. Everything was scheduled and happened on time. The installers were efficient and left very little waste meaning that we didn't have to over-purchase very much which is something that you can run into with less experienced installations. They also took our carpet out and removed it. The installers (RC Ceramic and Hardwood) arrived on time and finished on time/early during the day of installation. A few notes: You have to pick up the flooring yourself. My wife and I have two small sedans and we were able to load 17 boxes between our two cars with the seats down. If you have a pickup truck or a van, you'll probably be fine for most projects. Our project was for about 360 sq ft. Don't forget when you're computing your costs that you will have to buy trim and padding as well. The LL staff will explain all that you need, but don't just assume the cost per sq ft on the wood that you're choosing.

We have been talking about getting rid of the carpet for years, and finally took the plunge. We randomly stopped into Lumber Liquidators and luckily for us they were having a sale. The sales person was extremely helpful, even though he was alone, the phone was ringing off the hook, and we were not the only customer in the building needing help, he took his time with us, was extremely patient in explaining his answers and making sure we understood. He never made us feel rushed at any point through our visit. I honestly wasn't expecting to have such a great experience. Pleasantly surprised.

You can find some negative reviews about Lumber Liquidators if you search the internet. My experience with the one in Durham was nothing but positive. I was in and out of the store numerous times and the team was always very helpful and knowledgeable of the many products. The installation process was very efficient and professional as well. Lastly the floor looks and is performing great. You can't go wrong with Lumber Liquidators Durham.

Mike and his team were great from the minute we walked into the store until we returned the leftover flooring. The measurer was persistent in calling to schedule, even though we hadn't taken possession of the house yet. Mike worked with us when we threw him a curve ball and explained that our flooring budget had been blown mid-move by our dog being diagnosed with a life-long and potentially terminal illness. He ran multiple quotes for us with different scenarios to see how we could cut the installation cuts as much as possible and reduce the scope of work to keep the project within our means. In the beginning, we planned to remove all carpet and install bellawood maple floors. We ended up with the island pearl bamboo. I was worried at first because it's not a popular choice, but I knew I liked bamboo and I wanted lighter floors to make our new space look bigger since we downsized. It really made all the difference for the space. They are beautiful. The installers did an excellent job and took their time to make sure the cuts were perfect and the flooring was level. We removed the carpeting and quarter round and they removed the old vinyl. We are very happy with the service we received and love the bamboo.

I am a first time SINGLE home owner and had no idea what I needed for flooring. The sales people at the Durham location were extremely friendly, courteous, helpful and informative. Not only did I get gorgeous flooring for cheap but I learned a lot too! I will be recommending them to everyone!!! Thanks LL of Durham!!

Horrible customer service/sales! Went to their Hillsborough Rd location to inquire about the .69 per sq ft "Beautiful WOOD-LOOK TILE" that was advertised on TV. (sale from 8/23 - 9/5/2017) and the sales person had NO CLUE what we were talking about. We realized this was a phenomenal price and were somewhat skeptical however this sales person made us feel like the lowest of lowlife people on the planet. He didn't try to find it, he obviously didn't know about it, and he certainly did not try to sell us on anything else. DON'T waste your time...I certainly will not EVER go back. I'll find someone else that is interested in earning my business to re-floor my kitchen and family room!

My boyfriend and I went in around 5:30 pm on a Friday (they close at 6 pm) to talk about the floors for our new house and make some final decisions before ordering them. It was crazy busy, so we were worried about having time to finish everything before closing. Tom is the employee that helped us, and he was fantastic. He walked us through the process step by step (we're first-time home owners) and didn't try to rush us out the door. He even stayed an hour after closing (on a weekend night!) to make sure we were taken care of and that all of our concerns and questions were addressed. We got incredible customer service, and are very pleased with our experience so far. Will try to update after the floors are put in.

We had a huge renovation and needed the right flooring and supplies to get the job done. After shopping around it was apparent the best variety is was @ LL. Mike was great -- from selection and purchasing to coming back for more supplies while installing. Despite having some issues during the install, Mike and Tony were always eager to work with us, answer all of our questions, and would ensure we were fully satisfied when we left. Great Experience -- we would use them again.

Thank you to the Durham store for all their help with my gorgeous flooring. Mike and his team were very patient and understanding, since I knew nothing about flooring. The hardest part about the whole process was deciding which vinyl floor to get. The measurer called the next day after I bought the vinyl and was able to come and measure the day after that. The day after my flooring was delivered the installer called and promptly scheduled a time to come to my home. Installing took only a day and I couldn't be happier. Thank you again!

Lumber Liquidators has excellent pricing and I found their service to be excellent as well. Mike and Colvin in the Durham store took good care of us.

Just starting to look at flooring for a home I want to sell in a few years. We spoke for close to 30 minutes. He gave me some great advice on composite, hardwood and laminate flooring. He even directed me to use a store closer to my house to save money on installation (they just opened one in Fayetteville). Can't say enough nice about the manager - Tom - for his help - even knowing I would probably be buying from another store. He even said to call back if I needed more help. Kudos.
