Love this store, will be going back soon. Great service from Austin. Above and beyond. Their products are all top quality for sure. Make this a " must stop" next time you're in Oak Brook.

Sizes and a variety of colors are often in stock. They have a good selection of Tall sizes for those of us with a “telephone pole” body type. The fabrics are durable and wrinkle-resistant. The staff are friendly and engaging - they will often provide assistance. The one downside is the pricing. You should be aware of sale dates and online coupons for a good deal.

I drove far to pick up my chickadee slippers to avoid the one month promised delivery (online). They were worth the drive and the hefty non-sale price! Just look at these “happy feet!”

I guess the employees think that all African American people steal or not use African Americans shopping at that store. It was so obvious to me and my partner that we were being watched while shopping. This was a very uncomfortable shopping experience. The employees were pretending to be fixing the racks and returning clothing on the displays. Then, as we exited the store, an employee walked to the front of the store to make sure no merchandise was leaving out with us. I would much rather they say don't shop here or we are watching you.

Patagonia like outdoor gear brand but slightly more affordable. Sale items start from 50 usd (for men). From Camping to fishing any sports items are available.

The people in this store are the very best! Know products. Give you all the discounts. Very thoughtful.

Love the product, but I don't care for some of the staff

Very first time inside of an L.L. Bean store. It felt good walking around being able to actually touch the items. Introduced to this brand by my husband and would usually just order from their catalog. The store has a reputation for having durable, quality items at affordable prices all made in the US. Their outdoor gear used to be guaranteed for life. The new policy guarantees items for one year with or without a receipt as long as you provided your information at checkout. The L.L. Bean motto is: "get outside and do something".

Came here with some friends from out of town. Nice, open store. Very clean. Other than a salesperson asking if we could hear the ocean while sitting in the folding chairs on display (waiting for our friends), no salesperson spoke to us or asked if we needed help.

LL Bean is simply not what it once was. I was a fan until they dropped their lifetime satisfaction guarantee and the quality of their brand name products tanked. The high prices stayed the same. Here is what I have experienced since they ended the lifetime satisfaction guarantee. Collar of dress shirt fabric wearing out after a year of light use. Seam on cuff of coat unraveling after less than a month of light use. Low quality shoe soles in LL bean outdoor shoes. Seams on backpack unraveling within 2 years of light use. Zipper on purse becoming detached. I have used their credit card and points since the mid 1990s. I was one of their biggest fans. Today I rarely spend my points anymore. Not worth it except for non LL Bean items that I would never purchase with cash from L.L. Bean due to the high markup. Today I talked to one of the most snippy and condescending return agents that I have ever encountered over the phone. I did not call angry but I left the conversation angry. I am DONE. Time for a new rewards credit card. Bring back the hippies please!

Beans spanking new L L Bean @ Oakbrook Center in Oakbrook, IL. The store is huge located on the north end of the mall across from Pinstripe. The store itself has a huge selection of outdoor sporting wear & outdoor sporting gear. Everything is 25% off through Sunday 11/11/18 Yesterday was the Grand Opening. Today is Saturday 11/10/18 & Sunday they have a small food give away in to Oakbrook Courtyard. I had a mini pulled pork, pasta salad & 4 potato chips (I could barely finish all this chips) lol. The food is served from 12-2pm

I am writing this review to compliment Ryan, the clerk who helped my 85 year old mother place an order today. He was so kind and helpful. He went above and beyond what his job required with such patience and good cheer. I only wish Id gotten his last name to make sure his supervisor sees this note. It was the afternoon of 2/04/22. I wish there were more store clerks with his manners and disposition.

This store is only a few months old, and we came to it on our quest for a backpack. I found one! They don't have a huge variety, though there are some different options, as well as a modest array of camping and outdoor supplies, but the vast amount of stock in this store appears to be clothing. Staff was friendly and helpful; we chatted a bit with Kathleen who rang me up and helped find another bag when the first one had a dirty spot. Worth checking out if you're of the "preppy-but-outdoorsy" variety and shopping at Oak Brook.

The store manager here Lisa solved numerous problems with orders and returns the llbean online store (their online returns dep can be prickly) could not resolve. She is generous with her help and patient with requests. Ask for her.

Went with my friend to make sure she got the right coat. Great staff; Kellie (with an I E) was engaging and funny. As a new staff member, she's showed that she's going to be a good, long term employee! Asked her if it was "days or weeks?". She said days! Her boss was training her at the register.

I was so excited for LL Bean to come to Oak Brook. With Barrington and Skokie, I was anticipating a similar rendition of the Maine mainstay. I think the downfall is its size. From word on the street, the Mall is ultra pricey in rent, so it's not necessarily the place every business owner wants to be. The problem is for consumers like me, it's disheartening to see such a small inventory for items such as hats, scarves and gloves. For maybe a choice of about 12, I left empty handed, after assuming I would have a tough time deciding what to buy. Same scenario for other items. Not a huge number of coats, shirts, pants, accessories, outdoor wear and equipment. Being brand new, fresh paint, shiny, cool and sleek - standing so proud, one can almost see it atop where Sears is below, from outside the mall. Staff is smiley and helpful. That's all a definite plus. With the area for kids programs, classes and events, much of the potential retail space is reserved for other things. For those like me, preferring to see before buying yet expecting to see a lot of things offered in the current catalog, you'll have to go back to Barrington or Skokie, since Oak Brook just skirts a small amount of what is available in total. Reminds me of the big glossy package that looks wonderful on the outside, yet pales in comparison on the inside. I'm hoping, in time, LL Bean finds a way to increase its inventory without confiscating the necessary roominess of the store. Fortunately for me, Skokie is relatively close by.

So annoying. The hours listed on the Yelp website are incorrect. Drove out to Oak Brook and the store closed at 7 PM on a Saturday. Please update your hours. Another website said 8pm and another said 9 PM

This location has very helpful people working here, and a great selection of stuff. We enjoy coming here way too much. Lol. Kathleen you are always so sweet! Thank you for all your help with my bags.

Had to make a return and there were only two clerks, with one on the phone for at least 10 minutes. People in the long line started to complain and another clerk finally arrived. Used PayPal for my purchase and was told I'd get a refund check in the mail. When I stated that other stores put the refund back on your credit card, the clerk told me that next time I should use my credit card, or just not shop at LL. Bean.

I was looking to exchange my jacket that is leaking water and it is is my opinion that I received terrible customer service on 4/29/19 it was a rainy day and considering I was the only customer in the store at 11 am I was hoping to receive better service she told me that I could not return my coat and had to go to corporate customer service, however she gave me no phone number or any other assistance. I think my next coat will be a North Face so long L.L. Bean.

During the Grand Opening of this store I received a $25 gift card in a blind drawing. I Sent to the store with the intention to replace a jacket that had been stolen earlier in year. Placed the order I thought I paid for it. Tuesday I contacted customer service I was informed that my order was cancelled. She offered to reorder the jacket but less the $25 gift card. Phone calls and E mails later. I received a corporate call and yes they offered to reinstate my order but they basically called.me a liar. At the conclusion of our conversation I asked that my account and information be deleted. Good product lousy service DON'T BUY FROM THEM. Actually zero stars
