I went to the store with the intention to find a coloring book (which I did,) and I ended up spending over half an hour browsing the shelves because there are so many that caught my eye. It’s a good place to go if you’re a tourist, but even better if you’re living here and speak Spanish because you’ll have access to a wider range of books. There are some pretty cool magnets made locally of Barcelona landscapes that I’d recommend checking out.

Best library for travel books and maps. This is my go-to place whenever I'm planning a trip. They also have a board where you can publish your planned trips in case you want others to join you. A very unique place in Barcelona. Highly recommended

Such a great book store in Barcelona and one of the best book store that I have visited in my life. So many interesting books and lots and lots travel books from Lonely Planet, Rough Guides etc. Small Moleskine stall with their nice stuff. Come here if you are into paper books reading.

Wonderful Travel Library. It has most of the things one need to start roaming the world. From travel maps to photobooks, from dictionaries to travel guides. Particularly interesting the nature sections and the fact that for each continent there is also related literature, so one can not only plan a holiday, but also immerse oneself in the culture before even taking off. If I lived in Barcelona I’d spend here most of my salary.

I was at a meeting of travelers on the 1st floor. after that, we ate delicious snacks, I bought coffee and cake at the cafe. the girl, who does not know English, served me very well, friendly. you can drink coffee and look through a book, then buy it. great.

If you love travel and adventure you had to visit Altair! The selection of books and guides is incredible, and you can really feel the passion behind it. If you’re into exploring the world, this place requires a visit!
