Where to Eat, Drink, and Stay in Marrakech Right Now

"All over the city, in fact, non-alcoholic cocktails were a high point, and few places did them better than L’mida, the casually chic rooftop restaurant that’s well worth the effort to find." - Brian Freedman

We went here for lunch with our 13 year old daughter. Very tranquil setting nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the souks. I would recommend booking very early in your stay as I couldn't get a dinner reservation 4 days out. We were not on the roof terrace unfortunately (which is beautiful with stunning views) but indoor seating was nice. The pulled lamp shoulder with vegetables was very tasty and super soft. Can also thoroughly recommend the meatballs and raviolis as a starter. The chicken skewers were a bit dry to be honest but the coleslaw and potatoes on the side were great. Definitely recommend and would go again when back in Marrarkech (ideally for dinner and on the terrace) so will need to be better organised next time.

This place honestly was worth it. The staff were really attentive and catered to our needs. Everyone had great beautiful smiles on their face despite the 39 degree weather outside (as a Londoner this was a struggle for us to stay outdoor and to be at the rooftop) but they set us inside and put on the air con so we stayed cool. The food was great.

It was our first night in Marrakech. It was all we could’ve wished for!! The food was amazing. It even tasted better with the view! Also the service was super!! We definitely will come back!

The atmosphere is pleasant, well-decorated, and has a good selection of music. The staff, including waiters and receptionists, were very welcoming, communicative, and efficient. However, the food lacked flavour—while the presentation was nice, the seasoning was minimal, which made the experience underwhelming. Overpriced for the quality of the food.

Our experience here was excellent from start to finish. When we walked in, we were sat indoors as the rooftop terrace was fully booked. However, our server came after 5 minutes and told us he found a table for us upstairs. The views were absolutely incredible and I suggest you go around sunset time. Food, service, and atmosphere are a 10/10!

We had a wonderful experience in this restaurant. The rooftop is one of the best in the city center. The food is tasty and well cooked (the chicken skewers are excellent!!). The waiters are kind and friendly. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and beverages.

L’mida is easily one of the best restaurants we experienced in Marrakech. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between lively and family-friendly, with a stylish setting. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. The food was a standout — beautifully spiced and well-balanced. We especially enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer, beef tagine, and couscous salad. Don’t miss the iced coffee with a touch of milk. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in the Medina.

This place was awesome! The food was super tasty. The vibe was so cool and cozy, perfect for a evening date. Plus, the staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. Definitely a spot I’d come back to. Highly recommend!
