Stumbled across this place totally by accident on our way elsewhere and stopped in for a drink! The decor is pretty cool, and it's quite spacious with lots of seating.
The drinks are quite expensive however. Especially in relation to other bars in the area. It was over 7€ for a basic rail vodka with soda. And it was mostly soda water.
Bartender was cold. He was not unfriendly, just disinterested. Maybe because we are women. Not sure but it wasn't very welcoming. He barely said a word to us, and then got my drink wrong somehow. I didn't bother to complain.
As a note for other non-men, while it says it's a "queer/LGBTQ+ bar" and advertises trans, nonbinary, etc. the clientele when we were there was exclusively cis gay males. So, if you're a gay man, it's perfect for you! If you're a lesbian like I am, it may not be the best spot to meet other women. It's probably not news to any gay women or nonbinary folks to hear of another gay men's bar, but here we are again. Still very rare to find spaces for us all equally. If it wasn't advertising itself as a progressive queer/LGBTQ+ bar right there on the door, I don't think we would have been so disappointed. Just be honest. It's like every other bar for gay dudes and that's okay.
It's not a bad bar at all, despite the expensive drinks. I imagine it could be quite fun even if you're not a gay man... as long as your expectations are realistic.
