Where to find black-owned restaurants in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Repeatedly mentioned among local favorites on crowd-sourced Black-owned restaurant lists and commonly associated with chicken and waffles. It appears across multiple community and editorial roundups intended to drive attention and business to Black restaurateurs, though organizers warn that such lists can be incomplete or include closed or misattributed establishments." - Susan Stapleton

Been near here forever but never visited. Been missing out! Cool atmosphere, better food, even better service! Delijah was our server. My only downside in food selection was the fried green tomatoes. They are good-- don't get me wrong, but nothing on my mama's, mama's mama, mama's mama's mama. This spot is definitely recommended for anyone needing that southern hospitality with the food to match. Will bring some more people with me next time!

i had a very pleasant experience at Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles. my friend and i ordered the Toy Toy (traditional chicken wings and waffles) and also Nay Nay’s. drinks were also on the menu too! the mimosas were good and the music made it all better! highly recommend this place! you won’t be disappointed !

Google
Catfish xtra crispy 3.6/5 greens 2.9/5 yams 3.4/5, cornbread 3.6/5 blue kool-aid 4.2/5. overall food score 3.5/5. Service was 5 star, atmosphere was 5 star, I drove from Keller. Would make the trip again. Prices are a lil expensive imo but it's a decent ta solid food spot. I'd recommend trying them at least once.

Don't want to cook Sunday dinner at home then stop by Lo-Lo's Chicken & Waffles. Chicken is crispy and seasoned to perfection. Waffles have a good flavor also. Menu has a variety of options so you'll definitely be able to find something delicious. Entire wait staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend to stop by and try.

Just Okay, But Worth Another Visit I stopped by Lo-Lo’s Chicken and Waffles, and while I enjoyed the visit overall, the food itself didn’t really leave a lasting impression. Nothing was bad — just not particularly memorable or “wow”-worthy this time around. That said, the atmosphere and service made it a pleasant experience, and I’d definitely be open to giving it another shot. Next time, I’ll branch out and try something different on the menu — maybe that’s where the magic is hiding.

Wow! I really enjoy myself, and wife did too. We came back because we love it the first time visiting and now I will recommend here for more people. We had a good time. The waiters, Brice was excellent, the manager treated us like royals, the food, presentation, service, attention and the atmosphere were great. You guys are the bomb.

A Soul Food Experience You’ll Keep Coming Back For! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed like family. The atmosphere was full of warmth and good vibes, with music and decor that made it feel like home. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. And the food? Absolutely incredible. Every bite was seasoned to perfection, full of flavor, and clearly made with love. If you’re craving true soul food that feeds both your stomach and your spirit, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Google
This was my very first time eating at Lola's chicken, I was a bit apprehensive since I don't eat chicken, (I'm pescatarian) with the food was amazing! The staff was super friendly, it feels like somebody's mother is in the kitchen. We'll definitely be back

Yelp
Can never go wrong with good ol Chicken & Waffles. This location has ample parking and was fairly empty when I arrived. Customer service was great though, my waitress didn't mention any of the happy hour specials to me until I inquired. I ordered the Toy Toy which included two chicken wings and one waffle which was more than enough for me. I also added blue kool-aid which came in a large mason jar and an order of blackened shrimp deviled eggs. All were the good taste of a home cooked meal to me. And thanks to the waitress for the glass of water as well because the kool-aid was a bit on the sweet side.

Yelp
My daughter & I went yesterday evening and enjoyed our meal. I hadn't been since they changed locations - I really like the space they're in. There was no wait when we arrive but still a good sized crowd there. We were seated and our server came right over. We got our blue Kool-aid and reviewed the menu. My daughter wanted to try the hot honey shrimp deviled eggs so we got 2 and she ate them. I'll take her word for it that they were good because I didn't get to have one. Lol I ordered the two wings + waffle and she got the 3 pieces + 2 waffles. No complaints on the food... delicious.

Yelp
My goodness this place crazy packed today. Not sure if it's cuz of Sunday but I had to get my food to go cuz of the wait was so bad. But I would prefer not to hear all that secular music anyways. Actually my first time here. And found out from their shirts they had several of these. Even in other states. The food was good. I can't believe how many black people gave it bad reviews. I gave it a good review and I didn't even like the atmosphere. Felt like walking into a club which I don't do. I had both fried and blackened catfish. Both was good. Too much salt in that butter dip tho. That biscuit gotta be the best one I ever had. And it didn't flake up and break like all the others. Only other place like that is babes chicken. They make they greens just like I make mines in chicken broth. I know that taste anywhere. Prices was insane. Almost 5 bucks for a large Dr Pepper. I can get two 2 liters for that price. I could deal without that loud music playing. Who in the world needs music to eat? I really hate this about most restaurants. And can't stand a bar atmosphere either. As I don't drink. Can't even stand the site or smell of it. Other than that it was good eating.

Yelp
I finally made it here with my husband and mother-in-law, and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious, and our server was amazing--so sweet and super knowledgeable about the menu. The vibe was perfect too; their playlist was full of 90s R&B, which happens to be my favorite. For an appetizer, we tried the shrimp deviled eggs--so good! I ordered the catfish with mac and cheese and collard greens, and it was incredible. My husband also went with the catfish, paired with okra, and loved it. The drinks were just as tasty, and I especially loved the big mason jars they serve them in. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the very next day and even asked for the same server--Cathy. Her service is truly A1! I only wish they had one of these restaurants in New York, but I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in Texas again.

Yelp
We've passed by this location many times and finally decided to pop in since we were in the area. There's plenty of parking around this location and we arrived before dinner rush so were seated right away! The restaurant is clean and the staff was very friendly! We came during happy hour so grabbed a few drinks and the fried green tomatoes. The drinks were good but needed more alcohol. The fried green tomatoes were a good too but I wasn't a fan of the sauce it came with. We shared the soulfood platter, which came with plenty of food for the two of us. The catfish and chicken had really good flavor on the batter and the collared greens were probably our favorite thing of the meal. The fries tasted either refreshed or undercooked and the cornbread and biscuit tasted reheated as well. I think if we got the food fresh, it would be better.

Yelp
At 2:00 pm and you want breakfast all day plus the most amazing fried chicken you've had since before the mass production of chicken started. Hands down the fried chicken covered everything you ever want to eat! The service was friendly, helpful with the menu and understanding of my 88 year old mother's wants or should I say standards of food. The restaurant itself was a cute, clean and welcoming environment. Lastly, my mom and I cleaned our plates completely thinking when we are back in the area we are definitely getting fried chicken again!

Yelp
This place in Texas IS what Roscoes used to be. The flavor, the culture, the Service. This was the last place we are before leaving Texas and it was really good. The Chicken was fried perfectly and the Waffles were absolute delicious. When I come back to visit this is a definitely must stop. Grits are not seasoned but I get why they were not. Salt is different from person to person. Not to mention that even a little is you much for some. Absolutely no problem with that decision. In fact, serving it this way made me conscious of my user of Salt which my Doctor would appreciate. Everything we had was very enjoyable and a must return on my next visit. Yall'hollaatchaboy!

Yelp
I can't believe I've never written a review for LoLo's and I've been here multiple times. SO many that I can't remember the number lol. But I love this place, and it's my go to place when I'm soul food and don't want to venture to far from home. The chicken and waffles with gravy on the side is my to meal with the classic mac and cheese and collard greens. Key tip - make sure you get on the waitlist as soon as possible, ESPECIALLY on the weekends. It can get pretty crowded and the wait can be long, especially on Sundays after church. Music can be a little loud inside so prepare for that but otherwise there's nothing special about the restaurant's ambiance.

Yelp
Food- We all loved our meals and appetizers. Fried chicken/catfish/Gizzards/Yams/Mac & cheese/Greens/ Grits ...... Yes they have it all... Sorry forgot corn bread. Plates were loaded up. So don't share... Order your own meal... And what you leave...take home...for that late night meal. Service- Excellent// Shavon was our waitress. And was very very helpful and polite.... Ambiance--- Awesome.... Nice music...clean restaurant..... TVs for the games... Super awesome family restaurant... Tip for owner..... Sell that delicious hot sauce in the stores ..

Yelp
Went to visit my friend in Texas, this was also my first time in Texas ever. He told me about this cool little brunch spot to grab a bite to eat at. Thankfully he made a reservation and I recommend you do as well. Walks ins are welcome but it will be a wait. The energy of this place was great including how amazing our waitress was. She was very patient and was knowledgeable of the menu. She was also helpful in guidance of what I should have as a first timer there. Got the chicken and waffles which was $14 for the plate. If you get the traditional combo of the drum and thigh it will be $11 instead. Both very reasonable. The chicken was succulent, and juicy and fried to perfection. Super flavorful and well sized. And they have their own hot sauce that meshes with the meat perfectly. Also really good waffles as well. Cooked well but still a bit soft on the inside. They put cinnamon and sugar in the waffle as well, which was a nice touch. The butter also seems like it's either really high quality of locally made. So rich, and creamy. Highly recommend if you are in the Dallas or Irving Texas go eat and enjoy.

Yelp
Looking for a brunch in Dallas area. This place was advised by friends and family. Ambiance: By the first look, I can tell this place replaced a Mimi's Cafe and it was great to know that this was a black own restaurant. Unfortunately, I do not prefer music being so loud that it is hard to talk with your party, the waiter, and just waiting in the lobby area. In addition, some of the booth areas need to be updated or have better cushions. Service: There were 3 hosts, and they seem to be more concern about pushing people through instead of actually greeting customers as they come through the doors. I was aware of the wait time which could be really busy on weekends. My waiter Ebony was very nice but unfortunately, it was overwhelming because of the number of tables that were assigned to her at the time of service. With that being said, it took some time to even get water brought to the table. Also, there was no greeting to come back and have a nice day leaving. Food: After ordering my food, it took about 1 hour to have my food to come out for a party of 4. Unfortunately, the food was not blazing hot, and it was just warm. My omelet was really big, but home fries were a little burnt for me. I tried the Kay Kay meal as well and the waffles were just okay as well. Did not get a refill on my water. There was a pretty selection of breakfast, brunch and lunch options and price is around $20 - $35. Overall: It was just okay. I think they could work on their customer service and turn the music down to be more of a background noise instead of being like in concert and can't hear your party or waiter talking. In addition, hope they can work on the cook time or advise the customer on the cook time as well.

Yelp
Seated quickly and server came over almost immediately. The food was phenomenal, especially the cheese grits and candied yams! The restaurant was clean and comfortable!

Yelp
Popped in for a quick lunch off a recommendation. They seemed to have just opened. Unfamiliar with their menu, and the unavailability of the rotisserie chicken, I went with the classic chicken and waffles. Choice of libation was the rooster punch which was pretty good. The decor was unique, staff friendly, and ambient music was excellent. The waffle was a bit soft for my liking. I prefer crispy. But the chicken was delicious. But the rooster punch was the star of lunch

Yelp
Nice brunch spot. The decor is nice too. The service was a little slow but they were packed so that's expected. The food was very good, can't complain! Only thing I'll say I was stuffed! My order came with 2 waffles and they weren't playing lol the waffles have a biscoff taste to them and were delicious. Will visit again!

Yelp
All the people here are really really nice and accommodating, the food just does not scream good old southern cuisine to me. At best it's a try hard and I was so disappointed because I really really crave some good old-fashioned Southern cuisine when I visited the city. The yams weren't sweet enough and they were a tad hard. I like my yams as an honorary dessert. Sweet, moist, and delicious. The fish was a mild flavor, barely seasoned, but a good crispy crunch. Not my favorite but I can see that they tried to coat the breading really well and they succeeded. The greens were actually really good and my favorite part of the meal. Not tangy and washed well. They were also well-seasoned. The cornbread came with a huge clump of butter which was little disgusting to me so I definitely had to scrape it all off. The cornbread wasn't sweet and sometimes I don't mind an unsweet cornbread, but I do prefer my cornbread kind of like mildly sweet cake with my meal. Other than the greens, the best part of the meal was the pink lemonade. When I tell you we literally did not eat anything else sweet for the day because it was so sweet and satisfying. Deliciously vibrant and tasty. Yum yum yum! The inside was definitely packed but from what I saw everything seemed clean and intact. I love when a restaurant can be extremely busy but the cleaning crew is on point. I probably would visit again if I'm ever in the area and I will just order something else!

Yelp
Can y'all please hire someone to help Ebony out? The woman was working an entire section by herself on a Sunday. I was tired for her. Also, the back of the house was super slow! Now to my food. I had the ABC mac and cheese. I get it every time I come. But this time something was missing. Did you guys change the recipe? It wasn't hitting like normal. I decided I never have to have it again. It was my favorite when the location was in Southlake but this time around. It just didn't taste as good. My mother had the Salmon Croquettes. Being that she is originally from Mississippi she said it needed some white rice to go with it. She was well pleased. My cousin had the Soulfood platter and they enjoyed every moment of it. So my ratings- Ebony 5 ABC Mac &Cheese 1 Salmon Croquettes 4 Soul Food Platter 4 Rating 3.5 rounding up to a 4

Yelp
My first time at Lo-Lo's chicken and waffles the food was good. I didn't order the waffles I ordered blackened catfish with dirty rice and zucchini. It had some good flavor the dirty rice has pork in it which I didn't mind. Our server she got my order right and the food was hot. But overall the food was good.
google avatar

Roshaunn E.

Yelp
I drove 35 minutes for slight disagreement. You can tell we're not in the kitchen, none of my food had flavor. I didn't complain as it was close to closing and they already had another customer complaining for something else. The lady that helped wasn't very personable but maybe she was just tired from a long shift. The banana pudding was on the not-good side. The catfish was bland. The okra had no season. The cornbread wasn't sweet. The gravy was the only thing had flavor so I drowned everything in it. Maybe it was the time of day that I chose because I remember them better than this.

Yelp
The food was delicious ! The serving sizes were large. My picture do not show the The restaurant was busy , but we were seated right away. It was so many people it felt like one big family having Sunday dinner ! I'm looking forward to going back!

Yelp
Serving glasses of tea out of old mason jars... I see why this place had a line wrapped outside the door. When I walked in I was sat immediately due to the table for one. The place was busy with several birthdays and a lot of hungry customers. I ordered the waffle., some chicken and also a fish plate to go. They were all amazing especially the fish (I ordered mines fried hard). If you are in the area please try this spot. It was the perfect place for a wholesome turn up vibe on a weekday! My waiter was helpful and the manager checked on me twice. I look forward to returning!

Yelp
Started with an order of fried green tomatoes and what a disappointment. Heavy batter not cooked all the way with green tomatoes that seemed came frozen with coating on them. When our order finally came - Chicken Waffle with eggs and grits. Chicken was fried very dark and almost burnt tasted so much grease on plate some areas were wet and mushy, waffles had no flavor and where at room temperature or less so the scoop of yellow margarine on top never melted. Grits no flavor and cold. Scrambled eggs the whole meal tasted like it sat under a heat lamp to long burnt but cold. Nice waiter offered to replace but we had already been there over an hour. It was so noisy as a big place but put everyone in one little area while rest of place empty. I hate to give a bad review but we where so excited to try this place. Very large portions but yuck.

Yelp
I was in the mood for some good soul food and decided to come try Lo Lo's chicken and waffles. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. She had just started and she did a great job with us. We ordered our food and the food came out real fast. It wasn't a long wait at all. The food was ok I was expecting the fried chicken to be better than I expected. The fried chicken was very dry and kind of tasted like it was stale. Love the vibes and the 90's RnB that was playing.

Yelp
Incredible Chicken and Waffles!! Soul Food that will make you Cry it's so good!! Made to order and fresh to your table!! Thank You Lo-Lo's for a great brunch! Check out their Specialty Drinks!!

Yelp
This is it! Soul food, Yelp! Southern flair? Yelp! Did your mama cook it? No! But, this food here is good! We are a party of 7. Our waitress is Cathy! You great girl, but you need help. Even though you stop by to tell us who you are and that you are our waitress, girl you still took 20 mins to get that water. Don't do that next time, you got to be a little quicker than that. And, don't give me no explanation about them refills! Imma leave that. Now, on to this food. For starters, we got the pick 3 app and we got fried green tomatoes, fried okra and the catfish. We had 3 LoLo's with chicken and waffles. Delish! 4 southern specials, 1 with smothered chicken and 2 with 3 piece fried chicken, one with rice and gravy with collards and the other one dirty rice and candied yams. And, one with catfish and grilled veggies and spinach. Everything is amazing. But, the Number one highlight is the corn muffin! It's a must! If you are a connoisseur of cornbread like myself, believe me, this is one of the best you have had! All I got to say is, It's a must for me. I shall return.
google avatar

Gemma M.

Yelp
Oh my gosh, the food was amazing. I tried to look at the menu before heading into the restaurant, but when I took a look at the menu again I just did not know what to get. I ended up getting the waffles and chicken wings and oh my goodness it was so good. This place is so good I'm glad they don't have it in Maryland haha. This is definitely on my list when I head back to dallas.
google avatar

Jasmin J.

Yelp
I love this place! I got the Tre-Tre plate and it came with a waffle and two chicken legs! The chicken legs were so delicious and so was the waffle. The waffle had like a cinnamon flavor to it. Our drink did a while to come out, they came after our food. I usually prefer for it to come out before the food to calm down the hangry. Our waitress did apologize for it and was really sweet about everything. I'll definitely be back since my boyfriend loves this place!
google avatar

Victoria S.

Yelp
The food here is amazing!! I'm not from Dallas originally from Houston and one thing I missed most about home is the soul food!! Now this place is one of the few places that I know that serves GREAT soul food. The service QUICK!! The ambience is filled with family!! I love it and everyone here is here for one thing and that's Great Soul food. There is something for everyone so don't be afraid to get something other than the waffles and chicken.... I can't rave about this place more. 10/10 would recommend
google avatar

Courtnie L.

Yelp
This food was so dog gone good! The kool aid was refreshing new were seated quickly. Our server was nice and made good recommendations. The restaurant was clean.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
Definitely a repeat for the food! Must have the chicken and waffles, that is what's named after... My wife loves the shrimp and grits, corn bread, and the Kool aid must get. Service was good overall, employees were polite. Music is always good in the background, easy flow walking through the restaurant, multiple seating areas including at the bar.
google avatar

Ashley D.

Yelp
I always love this place! It's a favorite of my grandparents, and you know it's good when they keep asking to visit. The flavors are amazing, with the chicken fried to perfection. It's a great spot to bring family who are visiting or for a cozy Sunday dinner. However, I do have to mention that the service can be really slow; we've waited over 45 minutes for our order on one occasion. Despite that, the delicious food definitely makes it worth the wait!
google avatar

Angela Q.

Yelp
We eat here every time we visit DFW. We wanted to go Friday evening and thought it might be crowded. I checked the website several times before leaving and it said no wait. True to its word, we didn't even wait five minutes to get seated. It was crowded but not massively so. The three of us pondered the menu. We asked the waitress about the okra. She said she didn't eat okra so didn't know if it was good. She said the candied yams were good so we took that recommendation. I'm glad she was honest about not knowing if the okra was good but concerns me that she told a customer she didn't know because she didn't eat it. No enthusiasm for the menu and should notice what others say. Maybe she can say "a lot of my customers like it" or "'it's very popular here". The food came out fresh and hot. The fried chicken was perfect, seasoned and nice sized pieces. Collards were good, Mac and cheese was nice and cheesy. The cornbread was delicious and sweet. Strawberry lemonade was served in a mason jar and good and tart. Bad: rice and gravy had no seasoning. The waitress didn't check on us so we didn't get any throughout the meal. She came back and took care of the bill and brought to go bags but didn't bring the dessert peach cobbler rolls. We asked for the peach cobbler and she asked if we wanted it later then forgot. We also got no napkins. The blackened shrimp deviled eggs were good but a little salty. The egg balanced it off. There was a little salad below but I didn't eat it. We waited around and then went to ask about them. We didn't get a receipt so couldn't tell if she charged for them. We will come back but won't get the rice and gravy. Everything else was a hit.

Monique S.

Yelp
They don't use the waitlist on yelp like the phone recording said. So lots of people walked in thinking they were about to be seated, only to realize that they had to join another waitlist that was at least an hour long wait. So disappointing. Change the recording. We also asked for butter with left overs. When we went to use it, we found that it was tartar sauce. Our waitress was almost nonexistent. Someone at our table had to get up twice to get the things that we needed...clean utensils, napkins, syrup. We had to chance her down for straws.
google avatar

Wayne Y.

Yelp
Food is excellent. The chicken may be the best I have ever had and is well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. The biscuits are perfect and better than the waffles, in my opinion. Also loved the variety of drinks. Highly recommend this restaurant. Servers are also very good.
google avatar

Korynne B.

Yelp
Our waiter was amazing. The wait was too long and the restaurant 1/2 empty. Once we ordered food also took longer than expected. Fries were cold so ordered Mac and cheese which was mediocre at best.
google avatar

Yolanda S.

Yelp
Went to Lo-Lo's for a birthday lunch. I ordered the fried catfish, quite possibly my favorite, very delicious! They are generous w/their portions & seasoning is on point. Everyone was happy w/what they ordered. The banana pudding was also delicious!
google avatar

Kimberly W.

Yelp
I love the Lo-Lo's chicken and waffles in Las Vegas and was excited to try this one in Grapevine. I will say the one in Vegas was more of a party vibe, maybe because it was Vegas. , TX The restaurant was clean. The food was delicious. Our server was nice and attentive. I got the catfish, mac and cheese, and cheese grits. Everything was delicious. I love the portion size. I had enough leftovers for a late night snack! I also love that they serve Kool aid lol!
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
Food is Amazing! The fried green tomatoes are off the hook. The chicken is seasoned to perfection. The restaurant inside is very clean. And they have very great and timely service. We'll be back for sure.
google avatar

Mae T.

Yelp
Ok, first thing I noticed was the music! The atmosphere is very family friendly, fun brunch type. The service was awesome. Ofc I went there for the chicken and waffles! It's there with Roscoe's! They know what they're doing. And I love the alcoholic beverage options. I will be back. Thank you guys!
google avatar

Aaron H.

Yelp
Atmosphere, Ambiance, & Food, this place is a must try! Situated just west of DFW airport in Grapevine, Lo-Lo's is serving up some magnificent grub. Whether it's your traditional chicken & waffles or it's a soul food Sunday, Lo-Lo's has you covered. Our server Bryce did an amazing job explaining the menu and ensuring our first visit was great experience. Portions are hefty and reasonably priced, not to mention the flavors resemble your grandma's kitchen! Lo-Lo's will definitely see me again in the near future. Be mindful, the weekend crowd can be a little busy, although you can make reservations and get on the waitlist via yelp. Two cheers for Lo-Lo's!!

Yelp
My family of 4 had lunch here on Sunday, 4/21/24 @ 12:45p/1p CST or so. This was our 2nd time there (first time was back in 2016). I did not like the food at all the first time we went (cannot remember what I had), but the food was GREAT this time! All of us were very pleased with the food and the service (wish I could remember his name!) I did not try the koolaid, but my sons and husband said it wasn't very sweet (so just OK). We would have given our experience 5 stars, except for a MAJOR infraction! I witnessed one of the bussers doing the unthinkable unfortunately: He got to the table across from us - cleared off most of the table - picked up one of the glasses of water on the table - poured some of the water from the glass out onto the table holding back the ice - and wiped the table down with THAT water! HOW GROSS AND LAZY IS THAT??????! We started to report him to one of the managers but decided to include it in this review. SHAMEFUL AND TRIFLIN'!

Yelp
Eh, not the worst but not the best.... I came here for the first time today. I had heard a buzz about this place from a friend and on social media so I figured I'd give it a try. I got the frozen peach dusse' and the 2 PC - 1 waffle special. Both were mid. The drink was way overpriced at $26. If I had known the price, I wouldn't have gotten it. It's made with dusse', peach flavoring (maybe schnapps) and frozen margarita. It tasted like a peach marg with too much peach syrup. The waffle had a seasoning in it that I didn't like. It may have been cinnamon or nutmeg. it didn't work and clashed with the syrup. It's a shame because the waffle itself was the perfect soft texture that a waffle should be, but the flavor ruined it. If that was my first ever experience with any waffle ever, anywhere, then I would never try another waffle again because the flavor was so off. In an effort to be creative, the mark was missed on flavor. As for the chicken.... it was juicy and had ok flavor although I needed a lot of hot sauce. The skin on the wing that I had seemed undercooked. It was translucent in the part between the joint which I didn't like. I didn't eat the skin on the wing because of that, but the chicken was fully cooked which was good. The service was ok and my server was friendly. I may come back again because the vibe was nice, but I will get something completely different next time.

Yelp
First time here. Decided to bring the family along. Even with joining the waitlist , it still took almost 45 minutes to be seated. Party of 7, so it was understandable that we had to wait. The server was very nice and patient and it didn't take long for our food to come out to us. Everything looked delicious and was hot. The kool-aid was a little too sweet for me but the hubby liked it. The food was nicely proportioned so much so, we had to ask for to go containers. A little pricey but not too bad. It was a nice find and I wasn't disappointed. May return in the future.

Yelp
The Food was immaculate. Very healthy meals I'd say. I ordered the Stupid Fries and Korean Hot Wings while my wife ordered the Soul Food Platter. The ambiance had a sporty but family oriented theme. We watched the NBA finals as we enjoyed our meals. The place was packed but that didn't interface with the service. Definitely recommend this for a family dine in, group session or just a bro night at the bar. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Great food. With a name like this you know what you are going to get. I keep it simple and always get dark meat with waffles and red kool-aid. Fun place to bring the family as we all like to share. Food and service is a little slow sometimes but definitely not a reason to never come back.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. I've been to three locations. I've been to the one in Dallas, Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona. And all three are absolutely amazing. The service is always great and the vibes are there especially on the weekends. The Arizona locations have a Dj during the weekend but I haven't been during the weekend to the Dallas location. I only had their food to go but Their fried chicken is amazing. I highly recommend for a large groups who want to go to a place where the food is feeling affordable and the drinks are great.

Yelp
I brought my wife and kids on my work trip over the holiday and to our pleasant surprise we found a chicken and waffle spot that we decided to check out as my kids love waffles and chicken tenders. My wife and I also love to go out and try new breakfast spots. Though I would rave about the food here as it was actually really good. The overall customer service was horrible. Not only did they sit my family and the corner by the emergency exit of all places with a toddler and baby. Our server Deliajah L only checked on us twice. Once to take our order and when our food came out. Could not get a simple order of condiments as my wife had to get up and walk to the bar to find another server who was willing to give 2 little cups of ketchup. I would recommend that you only to go order from this place as you may feel out of place unfortunately.
