What Is Roman Food Anyway? | Eater

"An older neighborhood trattoria in Flaminio where the owner still rattles off the day’s offerings while pointing at the mostra, the refrigerated case that displays everything from pans of roasted pears to whole salami, preserving a traditional, homey atmosphere." - Giancarlo Buonomo

Great food and drinks, friendly service, take card. One small note; they charged quite a bit for bread which was not clear was going to be a charged, and was not asked for.

Sincere, real food. It has been one of the best re-discoveries following the steps of Sam Youkilis. It is an unpretentious, family trattoria with a cozy atmosphere, sincere welcoming and conversations with owners. They have been preparing Roman delicacies for tens of years and the most real thing about the experience is the quality and freshness of food and the way it's prepared to taste the best. We have had pecorino cheese as antipasto, artichoke, then amatricana, caccio pepe, carbonara, gricia. And as dessert; torta della nonna, mont blanc, vin santo. It has been the place that influenced us the most during our Roman holiday.

Amazing amazing food. Family restaurant in Rome, serving some of the best Italian cuisine you can imagine. Get away from the crowded touristic areas and indulge in authentic Roman food

First "real" Italian experience. Family run restaurant, warm home made bread, and the dishes are traditionally cooked. Rustic and quaint with an authentic old school atmosphere. Well priced. Note: little-to-no English, google translate was a blessing! But amazingly friendly and welcoming place. If you're looking for a great local experience, venture out, this is it. Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely lovely restaurant. Shared Caccio e Pepe and Rabbit, maybe the best rabbit I have ever had! The staff was lovely and made space for our group on the terrace on a busy day. Would love to return for another great meal.
