Tucked away in a quiet alley of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, this cozy little café feels like a step into a dreamy Parisian corner. Soft French music plays in the background, vintage wooden furniture fills the space, and warm lighting creates an inviting, intimate vibe. The star here is the egg coffee — rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. It’s one of the best we’ve tasted in the city. The avocado smoothie is equally impressive: smooth, lightly sweet, and refreshingly unique. A perfect spot to relax, escape the crowds, and soak in the charm of old Hanoi with a touch of French soul.

A funky bohemian joint situated up a flight of stairs behind a gate in an old French building. The egg coffee here was better than the original Giang cafe and way better than notes cafe - see my other reviews. But the coffee at loading T is much stronger and less chocolatey. The mango smoothie was really tasty and the jasmine tea came with dried apple, goji berries and flower buds making it a much more interesting drink. Very relaxed cafe with a bit more character and charm than most places. Would be fun just to hang out there and talk about philosophy and life, do a bit of work or enjoy chatting with friends. Note: it’s a cash only place.

What a beautiful building this cafe is located in! There are seats on both side of the cafe but I’d recommend the left side where the bar is. The lime coffee was freshly made and served cold. A fantastic treat in the heat. Definitely a must try I. Hanoi.

Great little boutique hidden just off the Main Street, go up the stairs, you’re going to find the hand drawn maps stuck to the walls to find the place. Cosy and a nice escape from the busy street, very quiet and the highlight for sure is their coffees. We tried the egg ice coffee and the coconut ice coffee and it was wonderful! It hit the spot. Highly recommended, will be back soon.

One of the best egg coffees I’ve had in Hanoi. Not too sweet, very refined, and beautifully presented. The service was great, maybe a little slow but nothing that takes away from the experience. The place itself is cozy, well laid out and super chill. A great spot to unwind and enjoy a high-quality coffee.

The most eclectic little cafe with the most amazing coffee, located on the 2nd floor of an old 3-storey colonial building that looks quite rundown & dilapidated on the outside. We were recommended to have coffee here by a lovely front desk staff member at our hotel. So glad we went! We tried Egg Coffee for the first time and it is AMAZING! Absolutely delicious, creamy & sweet. Also tried an iced Saigon coffee, sweetened & very refreshing. Neither coffee was too sweet, just right. Well worth looking for in Hanoi’s Old Quarter!

Super cool cafe. It is located in a heritage home and one of Hanoi's oldest maison. The coffee and drinks are also very delicious. Cool vibes. Feels like you're transporting back in time going in this old home. It's a great place to chill out and step back in time and away from the chaotic streets ans Hanoi. Staff and owner is super nice and friendly as well. Highly recommend for some coffee and history.

Absolutely charming coffee shop. Friendly staff and a great vibe. Love the french décor and the matching background music. The iced egg coffee's texture was unmatched, and the coconut coffee wasn't too sweet, it was perfect. Their coffee, roasted with cinnamon, was absolutely delightful, and i bought a bag of their coffee grounds for about 200k dong. I really enjoyed visiting here and will come back
