We went to a concert at the Ace and stopped in here to get a couple drinks. Ended up deciding we NEEDED to try the bread and butter, which was awesome! Wish we had done a full dinner here though, the food looked amazing. Nevertheless, the cocktails did not disappoint and the atmosphere was fun. Service was fantastic. We will definitely be back!!

Omg the breakfast sandwich was delicious full of flavor and the bacon was thick 😋 just the way I like it. The potatoes I ordered had good texture to them, crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. They add grilled onions on top of them that enhanced the flavor. Would definitely come here again.

Love the newer recipe for the shrimp and grits. Feels more like brunch. Home fries are also great. My husband is a fan of the chilaquiles. Super happy that they're inclusive with the addition of mocktails to their beverage menu. The Gardener's Dream and Strawberry Fields are both fantastic. Add to it the personable and cordial staff... all in all, it's a great addition to DTLA's dining scene. Edit: Just wanted to add that one of the new additions to the menu, Breakfast Orecchiette, is pret-ty awesome. This is one of the better locales in downtown Los Angeles' robust brunch scene.

Great service with friendly employees. The smoky eggplant hash was great and I definitely recommend adding the merguez for $3. The bacon included in the Loam breakfast was a bit too crispy, and the breakfast pretty standard. The orange juice was amazing! Definitely get some orange juice.

We were late for our reservation but they still accommodated us after they saw us struggling as most restaurants had shut their kitchens down. The food was great, best smoked salmon I’ve ever had! Burrata salad was good too. Ambience is great and the service is excellent!! Would def come back.

While staying at Ace Hotel, decided to do room service and Loam was their restaurant. I started with beets salad, and the. Veggie burger. Both were very flavorful, with the right amount of salt and crunch. The subtle additions of pickled onions to the veggie burger or the fresh pecorino added to the beets, it elevated the meal.

DTLA is in need of more spots like this for a good bite. Had coffee here a couple times before, but just stopped in for brunch and loved it. The secret isn't totally out yet, so it was lively but still mellow, and a great place for us to have a spicy bloody mary with a nice modern take on a couple breakfast staples. The breakfast potatoes were legit. And they had a DJ on the mezzanine? Nice addition to the Ace.
