"While most known for its namesake dish, the lobster bánh mì, as well as the Singapore sausage bánh mì, regulars to this Duluth restaurant know to ask for the off-menu vegetable egg rolls served with fish sauce vinaigrette." - Beth McKibben

"Served on freshly baked baguettes with proteins like grilled pork, tofu, curry chicken, and even crab meat and shrimp, the order from this bánh mì is its namesake: lobster. The sandwich comes loaded with chunks of lobster and all the traditional bánh mì accoutrements and is worth every penny of the $12 price tag. A location is opening in Brookhaven soon." - Beth McKibben

Friendly, personal service. We tried the pork and lobster bah mis. Really delicious! The baguettes are baked in-house, which makes them so fresh. He even brought samples of the pickled carrots to encourage us to try them, since it’s part of his signature bah mis. I’ve never tried jalapeños but I had them for the first time here because I don’t like hot and spicy but he takes the seeds out and just leaves the yummy peppers. My husband and I also loved the Thai milk tea. Nice ambiance and French music. Again, the service sets them apart. We will come back!

We saw this place while we were driving so we decided to give it a try and we love Vietnamese sandwiches! We tried the Curry Chicken Banh Mi and the Lobster Banh Mi. The Curry Chicken was good, the lobster Banh Mi was good as well. However for $11.95 there was not enough lobster meat. If you want more meat they will charge you an additional $5. I would probably try this place again but I will not order the Lobster Banh Mi again because it’s not worth it for $11.95.

We've heard about this new spot through the grapevine and glad we stopped by! The owner is currently the only person doing the orders and making the sandwiches at the moment. They are hiring! The wait for our order wasn't too bad, but keep that in mind. She was extremely sweet and friendly. We ordered a couple of banh mi Dac Biet, Singaporean Sausage banh mi, and Lobster banh mi, along with Thai Tea as it was hot out. Singaporean is your lap sung / Chinese sausage with the usual banh mi accompaniments. Dac Biet and Lobster banh mi was solid. I thoroughly enjoyed them all. We were gifted a few Vietnamese yogurt with our order. Refreshing and light, subtly sweet; it was delicious! I haven't had this in ages, so it definitely took me back. She also lightly toasts your banh mi as well. It'll be perfect for dine-in. Hoping this location stays around; loved being able to support your local businesses. :)

Convenient location (glad I don't have to drive down to buford hwy or Jimmy Carter anymore) close to the intersection of duluth highway and Peachtree industrial. Got the lobster banh mi and French combo (dac biet) banh mi. Love the French combo. Bread and toppings were delicious compared to other banh mi places. Lobster was very refreshing and sauce gave it a lot of flavor, but I think I'm more traditional and like the traditional banh mi's better. I thought the vietnamese coffee was standard, but my husband likes it. Thai tea was very good, I personally would get Thai tea over coffee, but my husband differs. Prices were very fair compared to what you get. Open 7 days a week. Definitely a must try if you're craving banh mi in the area, and I'm definitely coming back to try other sandwiches.

The most perfect crunchy and fluffy banh mi bread! Lobster banh mi was super delicious. Great Vietnamese take on a lobster roll sandwich. We also tried the coffee flan they had today. Great consistency and strong coffee taste! Excellent and kind customer service as well. Can't wait to come back and try the rest.

Went here after work after reading about this restaurant in the local paper. I orderd two sandwiches, lobster and the French. The french was better of the two for me becuase the lobster only had a small amount of lobster but both sandwiches, which are on a hoagie roll were good. I will now go back and get the sausage. The price is reasonable and staff is nice.

Delicious . Larger selection of Banh Mi then I've seen elsewhere. Stopped here on a whim, will be back. Small Mom and Pop style place. Definitely worth a stop!

I drove past here the other day and new I had to come back and try. I’ve always wanted to try a Banh Mi but was hesitant because I’m picky with textures. Nonetheless I was intrigued because she has lobster Banh mi and it was the first I’ve seen that version. So here we are today…I came back to try…AMAZING! Will definitely be back. I got a chai tea which was tasty as well. The owner was really sweet and offered me this little yogurt in a cup…I was again hesitant but 💣! It was very silky, not too sweet and just the right of tartness. I finished the whole thing 😂. Now I’m contemplating get a French combo to go 😩😩😩. Definitely must try - really nice place and vibe. ❤️

Yelp
Great food and definitely worth trying. At first I was skeptical about breaking from the norm, as banh mi is typically with grilled pork, jambon, or pate but I will admit the sandwiches here are delicious. Tried the Lobster and took a Grilled Pork for carry out, both are delicious served with fresh veggies as garnish. Will definitely come back again

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place as Banh Mi is one of my favorite foods. I had been eyeing it for quite a while and finally found myself in the area. Unfortunately, my first impression was kind of so so. There were only three people inside, including the cook, which made it feel nice and comfy. Immediately inside there is a kiosk on which to order. I place my order (pork Banh Mi) and because I'm paying in cash a receipt is printed for me to hand to the cashier along with my cash. The cashier, who is also the cook, sees me with my cash and asks if I could use Apple Pay instead. This was just a little off putting because there wasn't really a reason for it. Like I said, first impressions are everything and this just wasn't great. Nonetheless, I obliged. I would say if you're looking for a super fast Banh Mi, look elsewhere. It's fresh and made to order but I waited about 15 minutes and the two people before me had clearly been waiting for quite a while. Anyway, onto the food. The pork Banh Mi was really good. Not the best Banh Mi I've ever had, but very authentic with tender pork preparation in an unmistakably Vietnamese fashion. Reasonably priced as well. If it were closer I'd probably try it again.

Yelp
Today I call before heading to this place to ensure it is open. The lady worked behind the counter was very friendly. She greeted customers warmly and made customers feel welcomed. The pace was empty when we arrived but soon after there were few other customers. Excellent Bahn Mi. The baguette is toasted, crunchy and soft. My jaws were not tired after eating. Most other Bahn Mi I tried included tough bread which gave my jaws lots of unneeded exercise. The sauce/spread is flavorful but not overpowering the meat. I shared a grilled beef with my son and really liking the grilled beef flavor. The crab has its own seasoning perfect to compliment crab meat. I didn't try the lobster but my DH said it was very good. Price wise is affordable. Overall our family enjoy our Saturday lunch at this place and can envision us going back in the near future.

Yelp
I have to say that when I first tried this place it was not a great experience. It took forever to get my order. The banh mi was overpriced and disappointing. I guess if you like sweet below average banh mi then you're in for a treat because this is catered to a western taste. The lobster banh mi barely had any lobster in it. Why was it so sweet and saucy? I told myself I can't recommend this place to anyone. Years later someone from there reached out to me to give them another try. They said they've changed. I appreciated the sincerity and I want to support local businesses. I gave them another try. It still took forever to get our food after ordering. It was still sweet and disappointing. They didn't even have lobster banh mi. We went with the alternative which was blue crab. Barely any crab. A taste I never want to try again and the bread isn't even proper banh mi anymore. Not like it was proper before. It was more like hoagie bread. Speaking for the palette of my home country I will still highly recommend people to try better places. This ain't it.

Jose G.

Yelp
Right off the bat, you can only order on a self-service kiosk... but they only have one so if you come in during a busy time, you're doomed to wait forever. Congrats, you placed your order! Now prepare to wait an insanely long time as they seem to be understaffed. Finally, your food has arrived! Unfortunately, if you've ever had a banh mi at the spots off of Buford Highway, prepare to be disappointed. These sandwiches are overpriced, the bread is nowhere near as good, they have onions and bell peppers in their veggies (not how banh mis are usually made), and the grilled pork was slow cooked or steamed at best. The lobster banh mi was a cold/flavorless salad in a warm sandwich. Do yourself a favor and instead go down to Buford Highway when you crave banh mis.

Hiro T.

Yelp
In one word: disappointing Overall: not the food experience I was hoping for based on the name. Service was excellent, hence the extra star. Nice restaurant with excellent and very attentive service. Unfortunately, the food was not what we were expecting. Of course we went with the lobster banh mi. The good was that the bread was soft and good. The vegetables were all fresh tasting. The problem was the lobster. Just was not enough lobster in the sandwich to even hint at the fact that we were eating a lobster banh mi. More like a vegetable banh mi with a hint of lobster. The flavors were all pretty good, but the what was to be the star of the sandwich did not shine though. We also tried their pho, which was very different from other pho in the Atlanta area. The soup had a sweet flavor to it and really did not have that beef flavor you get at your typical pho restaurant. I am not a pho expert, so maybe a regional variation? I personally was not a big fan of the pho flavor. The restaurant itself had good lighting and investing decor. Definitely good and attentive service. Just food fell really flat, not really a place I could recommend to others.

Yelp
First of all, Shyla the owner is the sweetest and you can tell she is passionate about her food! There's a nice little seating area inside if you feel like dining in, but I decided on take out this time. Clearly i came for the but I couldn't help but snag a couple of others just to try. So glad I did! My fav was the lobster banh mi. Definitely worth a try! Things I tried: 1. Premium lobster banh mi - definitely my fav! Would definitely come back just for this. 2. Grilled beef banh mi - was so, so. 3. Grilled pork banh mi - also so, so.

Yelp
***FOOD: Mouthwateringly delicious. Got the lobster banh mi with extra lobster. Ate everything so quickly. I think the dressing was a tad bit too wet but otherwise a really really good sandwich. ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$$ it's lobster so it's going to be expensive ***DÉCOR: very basic, maple laminate tables and chairs. Not much in terms of decor but who cares. The sandwich was so good ***SERVICE: friendly and nice owner. Gave us extra ***RECOMMEND: HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Would definitely go back. Already dreaming of my next lobster banh mi

Yelp
Not everyday I'm on this side of town but when I go I always like to try new spots! I'm glad I saw this driving in Duluth. I've had banhmi many times before but never with lobster! Flavor was great with just enough heat to compliment the lobster. I would've given them 5 stars but I feel like there wasn't enough lobster in it for the $12 you pay for it. I'll still give 4 stars for service and great taste in the banhmi.

Caroline K.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place an in-between 3 and 4 stars. It's better than 3 but it's just short of a 4 in terms of quality. The owner and I'm assuming her son are very friendly and helpful. She's got lots of personality, which I think she mutes while at work. The place is clean and well laid out....which I would expect of a newer business. Not really sure the point of all the wicker baskets, but maybe it's a loose tie to French markets and basket carrying your groceries...maaaaybe *shrugs*. All of veggies were fresh and properly portioned/processed. Banquette wasn't fresh made that day, but it wasn't stale either. My fav was the French, it's the classic one with pate and all the typical trimmings..and if you know to ask for a fried egg-it's included on the side. The egg was the best part-fried to perfection and runny yoke. Lobster was decent, but had the briny taste of not so fresh seafood. The same went for the shrimp too...far from being rotten, but not really fresh either. I love Singapore sausage...okay really I love all sausage, so my opinion on this one doesn't count...it was good. Sausage was a little dry, since I'm sure it's cut up and placed in a container for service...but it didn't stop me from eating it. I'm hoping this place finds its footing and establishes a name for itself. I also hope they retire the microwave and baskets at some point along the way as well....or move the microwave to the back, so people can't hear it and see you use it.

Tina H.

Yelp
The service here was great and it was really clean, so rounding up to 3. I would not go here expecting Vietnamese banh mi. It's definitely more Americanized in flavor and really sauce heavy. I probably won't be coming back. The bread loaves themselves were good, though. Grilled pork banh mi- It's not like thit nuong at all, but more like some pork loin and a little heavy on the mayo. Premium Lobster Banh Mi- similar to a lobster roll on a banh mi. You can't taste too much of the lobster and it's pretty saucy/ wet.

Karla C.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this spot. For me, the drive is a little far and there is not much around but it's a place worth the visit. The lady servicing has to be the sweetest person ever. As you entre the place is clean with french music playing in the background and lobster decor all over. We ordered 4 different types of Bahn mi's, lobster, shrimp, crab and sausage. I think the lady might have been by herself since it took a bit long to receive our sandwiches but we didn't mind. The filling is not a lot , especially the lobster but the flavor was nice and the bread was nice and crunchy. My brother's favorite was the crab but we both loved the Thai tea.

Nicole G.

Yelp
I love this place! The bread is so fresh and crunchy and the beef is marinated perfectly. I've come twice now and they're consistently delicious + the workers are so nice. I also highly recommend the Vietnamese coffee!

Jeffrey K.

Yelp
Omg friends. Do not sleep on this place. Their lobster banh mi is sooooo freaking good. Their crab banh mi is good too but their lobster is on another level. Its owned by the most awesome lady and she made sure my brother and I had a great meal here. ALSO! They have siriracha sauce packets!! How awesome is that! I am definitely coming back here whenever I am in Georgia again!

Alex K.

Yelp
I've never had a Lobster Banh Mi before so that's obviously what we ordered. I think the taste is there, overall a delicious sandwich, but it had be desiring more lobster. With each bite with the right amount of lobster, you end up with quite a bit of bread. I get it, lobster is expensive, but paying $13 to $14 each I expect the meat to be ample enough to cover the whole sandwich. I'd almost pay a few bucks more to have a properly even sandwich. Still, really nothing to complain about, simply eat more meat and throw away some bread at the end. All in all, I enjoyed the meal but not sure if I would have it again.

Tiffany E.

Yelp
I love coming in for the iced coffee and yogurt but I've shown up many times during open business hours and it's closed. The food is also good but overall very unreliable service.

Esther K.

Yelp
I'm a fan! We've come here for takeout a number of times during the pandemic. We're seafood lovers and was very excited to have a place that combines two of my faves- lobster + bahn mi. We've tried a variety of their banh mi. Yes, we usually get a flight if bahn mi sandwiches. Lol. The bread is also good here and the seafood has been fresh when we ordered it. Most importantly I like how they don't skimp out on the veggies that go into the bahn mi. The veggies we've gotten are fresh and plentiful which adds to my fav parts in a bahn mi. We've tried the following: Crab bahn mi Lobster bahn mi Meatball bahn mi Beef bahn mi Shrimp bahn mi Definitely check this place out. They have a variety of bahn mi options. I still need to try their curry chicken bahn mi as I love all things curry.

Mauricio A.

Yelp
Took me a couple of tries in order to get my conclusion. Pleasant surprise in the Duluth/JC area. When the spot came up, I didnt know what to expect. Yes, its not authentic, yet, still delicious. Ended up ordering a couple of them. We started with the Grilled Pork, Grilled Salmon, Singapore Sausage, and of course the Premium Lobster. All of them were phenomenal, I had no issues with taste or crispiness. French Baguette was crispy and crunchy, fresh veggies were on point. We ate at the location so that changes the came for freshness, so keep that in mind when ordering. I also came back for a Premium Lobster with the veggies on the side, so it won't sag much. Was pretty good as well. Overall, really good place to hit if you are in the area. Owner is really cool and very engaging. Will continue to go back.

Yelp
I've heard mixed reviews on Lobster Banh Mi but I took my chance regardless. It's located in Duluth on PIB side. Come before noon (like we did), if you don't, the line is loooong afterwards so that was a good sign. Service is slow but I expected that from a mom and pop place. I ordered the veggie banh mi and non meat egg rolls while my friend ordered the lobster banh mi. Took longer than expected so they gave me an extra egg roll and I shared with my friend. I'm not sure how I really feel about it cause I don't love the taste, but I like the crunchiness. I think the banh mi is a good size. My friend got the lobster banh mi. She was disappointed in the amount of lobster. She says it looks more like a lobster slaw sub instead of lobster banh mi. My veggie banh mi is the same way. Now, the taste is good but it's more of a mixed veggie slaw. My issue is with the bread. It is sooo freaking hard!!!! I couldn't eat anymore. Biting it hurts. A good sub or any sandwich is the bread. The service is really nice and I want them to do well. 95/2021

Yelp
As a huge fan of Banh Mi sandwiches, I was super excited to try this place but found it to be over rated. For me, Bahn Mi all starts with the bread. That super flaky, crunchy crust with soft fluffy inside holding the cilantro, jalapeños, pickled veggies and succulent meats. Unfortunately Lobster Bahn Mi puts on a liquidity sauce that makes the bread super soggy. By the time we took our first bites the entire thing was falling apart. And there's nothing like a wet soggy sandwich. Perhaps it would have been significantly better if it is devoured right away but for take out it was a fail experience. I did give it 3 stars because a lobster Bahn Mi for $10 is a good value and the flavor was decent minus the texture. Overall, wouldn't ever get this to go but will give it another try when I can eat at the place.

Yelp
I had passed this restaurant a couple of times and finally got to stop and try it. It's in a strip mall across from a large Goodwill store. I am so happy that I stopped. I bout two Vietnamese Bahn Mi sandwiches. On was a pork sandwich ( Bahn mi thit Noung) and it was delicious. The star of the night was a Lobster Bahn Mi which was nothing less than outstanding! It was one of the best sandwiches of 'any' kind that I've had. This is a friendly family owned restaurant. I highly recommend stopping in! It's a treat that I'll drive from Atlanta to enjoy again!

Abigail O.

Yelp
Not only was the food delicious, the customer service was exceptional. I came in for my usual lobster bánh mì and had a mask on because I have bronchitis. The chef Jon asked me if I was feeling OK and after I told him what was going on he brought me some hot tea free of charge. It was so kind and thoughtful and very appreciated. I tried to tip him but he refused. I really hope this restaurant gets the attention it deserves not only because of how amazing the food is but also because of how terrific the staff is as well.

Yelp
"Temporary Hours 11:00am-7:00am" We drive up from Sandy Springs to try their Lobster Banmi. We are first in line, arriving right at open time - 11:00am. Very excited. Cute little place. People seem nice. The wait was a bit long but understandable. Just imagining if we were one of the other 8 people behind us. We ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee and a jasmine iced tea, lightly sweetened. Coffee was legit and tea was perfect for me. The crispy and shrimp rolls with sauces were delicious. They make it fresh in-house. When you hear lobster banmi, you think chunks, like a lobster roll. Was very disappointed to see that it was shredded. Think canned tuna. On top of that, the first bite in and immediately noticed an overwhelming flavor of celery, pepper, and spice. I get the flavor but it was overdone for my taste. I honestly couldn't taste the lobster at all so a little less flavor would have been better in this case. Dripping with every bite, bread is wet from the sauce. By the second half, the sandwich was getting a little soggy. This is just my personal opinion. There was a line of people ordering this lobster banmi while some were returning customers so obviously there are people who love it. The search continues for me...

Jason G.

Yelp
This place is a joke. The food is good, but I think they use the weather to decide if they want to open or not. Todays excuse for being closed was to "restock." Do yourself a favor and go down the road to Pho 24. Great food and they actually know how to run a business.

Glo S.

Yelp
Cute Banh mi place (i posted a pic of the meaning of Banh mi just in case you are curious) They have tables and seats, but to me, it seems like more of a to go type of place. Its clean inside and the menu isnt crazy with 100 things on it so its easy to pick and pay. The cashier is very nice. ( I think it was the owner.) Now to the food. I ordered a lobster banh mi, obviously and the curry chicken banh mi. The chicken curry one was really creamy and good. If you like curry, you should try that one. The Lobster one was really good, but of course the problem is the amount of lobster they actually put inside. I still gave them a all around 5 star because most lobster roll places that ive been to dont give you enough lobster for the price and this place is about $10 less gives you a piece or 2 more than expected.

Yelp
I heard about this place on NextDoor, so I figured I'd give it a try. Pros: Kind Workers Decent seating Good food Local Business Cons: Long wait time Disorganized Lobster not served in chunks Ran out of certain drinks We arrived at 1pm, ordered by 1:05p & received our food by 2:10p. We ordered 2 lobsters, 1 shrimp & 1 Thai Milk Tea. We received 2 lobster, 1 French combo & 1 honey crisp drink. We didn't check our sandwiches until we got home. The wait time was way too long for sandwiches. They didn't have a tracking system or provide us a ticket. My husband proactively told them to write down his name, so they knew to call it out when it was ready. The workers were constantly asking people what their orders were as they brought food out. Some customers asked for their money back. They ran out of Thai tea but only mentioned it after you either asked about your drink or when they brought the order out. They were overwhelmed; the service shows that & the taste of the food does too. The food was good. Not "delicious," as others have stated. Maybe because (even after an hour), they rushed to make our sandwiches. Although they gave us the wrong sandwich (French instead of shrimp), it was pretty good. They gave us complimentary yogurt for the wait as well. We waited so long another customer asked about our food because he came in after us. All in all, the place has potential & I would be open to trying again on a slow day, but this isn't an hour worth of wait quality sandwich spot.

Yelp
Lobster Banh Mi serves some of the staple sandwiches like cold cuts, grilled pork, and chicken while also including some new variety like seafood, singaporean sausage, and curry chicken. I had to try the lobster banh mi and I liked it. The lobster was tasty and fresh, with the pickled veggies made it a unique and delicious combination. They are only a month old! So if you already love the original banh mi classic then I would highly recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for a new twist to something already so good. The owner is really nice, friendly, and really care about the product and wants to share that experience with you.

Edward K.

Yelp
Crispy Egg Roll with fish sauce vinaigrette, Meatloaf Banh Mi, French Banh Mi- everything was loaded with flavor. The Banh Mi were $5 each, with 1 being plenty enough for a lunch. The meatloaf reminded me of a sloppy Joe, with pickled vegetables and Mayo as well. The French Banh mi had bits and pieces of porky lunch meat and gelatinous bits as well as a pork pate, with fresh cilantro and jalapeños, with pickled veg and mayo. This is not McD's and it will take a few minutes to prepare your order. I could tell this was a family business with mom or grandma preparing the food and a trio of teenage boys handling orders. I imagine this is going to change dramatically once school starts back. I know that I will be back, because I don't think I will be able to stave off the craving for my next bite from Lobster Banh Mi!

Yelp
I don't know why this place has some bad reviews. Yes, the location is hard to find, and yes the service can be slower than nearby restaurants, but the pork Bahn Mi, which I've had twice is fantastic! I'm going back next week!

Yelp
Went to Lobster Banh Mi thanks to a Yelp recommendation. The restaurant opened fairly recently, and it certainly deserves a chance to grow. For now, initial impressions were very positive. A very pleasantly kind owner works very hard to make the sandwiches and cash out the customers. Restaurants all around are struggling with staffing. Do make sure you're patient and understanding/budget your time accordingly. I ordered the lobster banh mi. At $10, there of course is going to be a catch. What is the catch? Well, it doesn't contain much lobster. The flavors were all there, but it was predominantly the taste of the veggies and the baguette. I would've liked the opportunity to taste more lobster. The lovely owner of course is running a business not a charity, but I agree with the ideas that other diners have. Offer a double meat option and charge $15 or so. I also would like to see the owner offer more sides. She could start with bags of chips and then potentially expand from there. At present, there aren't really any side options. I'm excited to see Lobster Banh Mi continue to grow.

Yelp
I came across this new restaurant on Yelp. It's located in a small strip across the street from good will on ptree industrial. It may have been a Quiznos a really long time ago. The owner was so sweet! She was very friendly and gifted us two Vietnamese yogurts with our order. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I'm familiar with the yogurt because my grandma used to make it for me as a kid. I ordered the lobster banh mi for $10. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it! The lobster has dill and other seasonings on it along with celery and onions. The bread has a Vietnamese Mayo, I think, and is topped with the typical banh mi toppings such as jalapeños, cilantro and pickled veggies. Sometimes lobster has that fishy seafood taste, but that definitely was not the case here. It resembled like a seafood salad but inside a banh mi. I loved it. Yes there may not be tons and tons of meat similar to a lobster roll, but the sandwich is only $10, and I don't feel banh mi's should be jam packed full of meat anyways. Maybe she can offer an up charge for double meat for those that prefer more. I would say to eat this sandwich there or very soon after because the lobster juices does make it really soggy. I ate mine about 45 minutes after, and some parts were soggy but still tasted great. I can't wait to come back and eat this again!

Andy S.

Yelp
The waiter there was fantastic! Even though they are short-handed and took a long time to process my vegan-style noodle soup with Dofu, onion, and other veggies, I am still grateful for the courteous service provided and the crisps (I chose the flaming hot Cheetos bag) they offered as appetizers before the actual meal. Waiter didn't ask for a tip, he asked for our group to promote the restaurant, which is what I did. The ambiance delivered helped the overall service and experience as he has been really helpful and friendly with the appetizers/snacks and drinks, which most normal restaurants do not serve on a regular basis when it comes to snacks. Would say that there really isn't much of an issue other than the wait time due to staffing shortages, but the quality of service more than makes up for it. Will go there next time and it is well worth the $13.73 that I spent!

Yelp
I had been craving a lobster roll and drove past and saw their fun, bright, lit-up sign and knew that I had to stop by! I ordered the lobster bahn-mi, which honestly I would not order again (because there was minimal lobster in it), but the place was cute and charming and I would go back again for something else. My friend had recently eaten there and ordered a chicken one and then ended up ordering a second one!! They should consider charging $15 for the lobster bahn-mi and adding more meat.

Yelp
You must try this place! I've been to just about every banh mi places in Atlanta and this one hit every mark. I tried the lobster banh mi and right away I knew their bread is fresh and good quality. They didn't skimp on the lobster meat and the seasoning was light and perfect. Their French banh mi is comparable to our "Dac biet" or "special banh mi" of mostly cold meat-Recommend. Their pork bbq banh mi is as good as it gets and savory- recommend . I'm eyeing the crab one time . Customer service was also good .

Yelp

Yelp
I've been waiting to try this place for several months now since reading a review in a magazine. We made the mistake of showing up for takeout without first placing the order. It took forever for the line to move. Two parties in front meant over 30 minutes of waiting and before I could walk back out the door. The sandwiches were all mediocre. The main complaint is that they over sauced every one of our sandwiches. We ordered four or five different sandwiches to get a variety and they were all just okay. I won't be going back.

Yelp
My coworker and I wanted to get Banh Mi and I remember someone mentioned the lobster Banh mi so I thought I would give it a try. I got the Singapore sausage without Cilantro. I think it tasted really good! I just didn't expect 腊肠 is Singapore sausage, but surprisingly it goes really well with Banh mi.

Yelp
I dream of their curry soup. Comfort food ne plus ultra. The chicken bahn mi was good, a bit sweet for me, but the fresh bread used was on the money.

Yelp
We tried the grilled pork, crabmeat, and curry chicken banh mi's and they were soooo good. The ingredients were fresh, crabmeat was actual crab meat and the sauces were on point. This is coming from someone who doesn't have an affinity towards banh mi's. Thai iced tea hit the spot as well. I will have to come back soon cause I know I'll be craving the banh mi's!

Yelp
First visit. Prompt service with a smile. We had the Curry Chicken, the Grilled Pork, and the Meatloaf Banh Mi. All were quite tasty. As a southern boy, the Meatloaf sandwich was not quite what I was expecting but it was very enjoyable and I was open minded going in. The tea was delicious as well. Will look forward to returning.

Yelp
The banh mis were decent. Not a-lot of ingredients and too buttery. The bread was also not the typical crunchy Vietnamese bread.

Yelp
i love this place! The owner is very friendly and doesn't mind answering questions about the menu. The menu here is a bit simple, it's just sandwiches and drinks but the sandwiches are done great! I love the fact that the lobster banh mi is actually made with real lobster and you have the option of adding extra if you really want to leave stuffed. They are progressing and trying to get more staff which I can understand due to the surge in customers. I will check back soon to see how things progress but for now I'm definitely a fan of this place! ATMOSPHERE The atmosphere here is nice, it's a pretty good space - it can seat maybe 35 people the tables are spread out and there are lobster posters all over the walls as well as a ton of Saigon-styled decor. If you have a big party, I would reserve in advance

Yelp
The lobster Banh Mi had less than a teaspoon of lobster. I broke my diet to eat bread and was truly disappointed at what I received. I deconstructed the sandwich which is their namesake, to find literally no lobster. Maybe the other ones are ok but the Lobster Banh Mi doesn't have lobster on it. Ridiculous!!!!

Yelp
Lobster Banh Mi and hot Jasmine tea with a splash of honey was delicious! Will definitely be back.

Yelp
You always find the best food in the strangest little places. If you're in downtown Atlanta for business, like I am, I can't recommend this spot enough. The food was outstanding. I got the pho, lobster bahn mi, and yogurt. Best meal I've had in Atlanta. :)

Yelp
I'm from Marietta visiting my parents in Suwanee and found the place driving back home. The owner is super friendly and she gave me a couple of small cup of Vietnamese yogurt as a first time customer with my 2 orders of Banh Mi. The sandwiches (French & Singapore) are delicious & I requested for extra veggies & Vietnamese pate spread. The yogurt is so good & creamy. Will definitely go back when I visit my parents again. Thanks.

Yelp
2 stars for the customer service... The owner and the cashier (who seemed a bit lost) were both extremely friendly and so kind. We ordered the french banh mi and the grilled pork banh mi. We took them to go to eat and home and were pleasantly surprised by what was inside (not in a good way).. First off, authentic banh mi's do not come with onions. Secondly, it seemed like they used regular mayo and not the super eggy mayo that authentic banh mis use. The grilled pork was super weird and tasted nothing remotely close to vietnamese pork. It even seemed like it was sprinkled with italian seasoning or something. The french one which is the typical combo banh mi at most viet places tasted like they used american bologna and a bit of the viet ham. I took a bite and it tasted almost spam like.... We couldn't even finish our sandwiches and threw them away. This made me crave for a real banh mi. Im super sad that their sandwiches are so americanized and nowhere near authentic. I really really wanted to like this place and wanted to support them.

Yelp
We went yesterday and were very happy with everything. The staff were so helpful, since it was our first visit. Our sandwiches were so good. Shrimp and pork were tasty and bread was crisp. Looking forward to a return visit. Thanks!. Banh Mi SandwichesGrilled Pork Banh MiGrilled Shrimp Banh Mi
