The 21 Best Restaurants On Cape Cod - Cape Cod - The Infatuation

"This perpetually busy Provincetown institution has been around since 1943—Anthony Bourdain even worked here as a dishwasher in 1972. And as the name suggests, this is where you should eat some lobster for lunch or dinner. Order the pan-roasted variety, which consists of a lobster cut in half, seared, and flambéed with brandy over a butter sauce made of leeks, chill sauce, and fine herbs. If you’re looking to eat as much seafood as possible, get the shellfish algarve bouillabaisse, made with a garlic and olive oil base with steamed shellfish, shrimp, calamari, and fish served over pasta." - jennifer mattson, carlo mantuano

7 Restaurants Perfect For A Day Trip Outside Boston - Boston - The Infatuation

"Drive Time: 1 hour and 15 minutes One of the downsides of living on the East Coast is not having many places to watch the sun set across a body of water. That’s one of the reasons why the southwest-facing patio at the Lobster Trap is great. Additionally, there’s a lot more to the menu here than fifteen iterations of fried seafood and a lone chicken tender plate. To be clear, we like battered shrimp just as much as the next Bostonian, but garlic broth mussels and grilled swordfish are nice options as well." - joel ang

My husband, our adult son, and I were quite taken with this restaurant. You order at the counter, and they call out your order number for you to pick up your food/drinks when your items are ready. Parking and seating were readily available. There were lots of interesting items to look at while we waited. It was such a delight to find a variety of baked and grilled food as we were tired of places featuring only fried seafood. Rice as a side was an additional $2 rather than included with the entree - it was good, but with the amount of food unnecessary - too much for any of us to finish at one time. Next visit we will try the 🦞 lobster rolls this restaurant is famous for ... and maybe share one of their 3 lb lobsters. The lobsters are visible in their tanks - worth a look even if you don't want to order one.

Came on a slow day, got to see the amazing staff taking care of their local customers! It’s really nice to see a family owned business that takes care of their own!!! I was also treated kindly and even had a nice conversation with a woman who worked there! Very personable with fresh seafood!🦞

Google
My wife and I ate here 3 times during our visit to Buzzard's Bay, and each time, it was fantastic. All the food was fresh and delicious and, more importantly, made in-house. The fries and onion rings were hand cut and hand battered. The clam chowder was rich and creamy, the lobsters and soft shell classic cooked to perfection, the raw oysters cold and fresh, and the service was top-notch and very personal. 10/10 experience. I will be back again!

Google
Food was really good. We got the fried lobster which came with fries and butter, clam chowder and stuffies. You order at a counter and pick up at the pick up counter. You can sit anywhere.

Google
It's been a while since I've had fried seafood so I decided to give the Lobster Pot a go. The inside of the place is spacious with large, wooden booths. I got a clam strip roll and my sister got the fried clam dinner. We were both suprised at the portion size. I guess we're used to the plate size you got when we were young. Other than that, the food was excellent. Nothing was over fried. The clam strips had clam, they weren't just batter. My sister's clams had fat bellies. All i would suggest is they pile on more fries to give more food.

My husband and I took a spontaneous road trip from Western Mass on my birthday and stumbled upon the Lobster Pot; what a gem! From the warm welcome to the “three restaurants in one” concept, everything was fantastic. We sat at the bar and shared the 3-lb Monster Lobster packed with scallops, shrimp, and extra lobste; plenty for both of us with leftovers. The birthday dessert was the perfect touch & surprise.Truly a memorable meal! 🍻

Google
The seafood is super fresh and always cooked perfectly. You can chose to have steamed seafood or fried. Always great.

Google
Casual place for some good New England seafood. Counter serve, and I didn’t sit at it but there was also a small bar. Enjoyed my fried clams and my girlfriend enjoyed her chowder. The fries were classic “beach style”. It had a retro vibe and the place was clean.

Yelp
This place is a great stop when headed to or from the Cape. Right on Rt 28 in East Wareham. This is a family favorite for great lobster and seafood. I always get the Steamers and the fried clam strips. Both these items satisfy my need for clams and fried food. You can't go wrong and the owners are always around to answer questions.

Yelp
My family and I have been coming here for over 20 years. We come at least once a season . Just visited on 11/10/24. We are from Connecticut but drive up specifically for a bowl of chowder - and the amazing , flaky fish and chips ! Staff is always friendly , ambiance is perfect and lends to the "New England fisherman charm" of the town! They have ample seating ! Indoor and outdoor seating available. We find the pricing reasonable for the quality of food provided . Not one disappointing visit in over 20 years !

Yelp
I can honestly say that I had no intentions of writing a review about the tasteless, high priced, low quantity food here but the owner of this establishment pushed me into rewarding him with a well deserved 1 star review. Not for his bland tasting food but for his very bad attitude, greedy work ethics and horrible customer service. After our $150 assortment of bland tasting seafood, I went to the counter to get a fountain refill for two Pepsi's in our cups. The kind young lady who originally took our order, said that they don't give refills. In shock, I said you're kidding?? She then looked over to a pudgy bald headed man sitting behind the counter. He spoke up and said we don't give refills because you might have Covid! I said well can't you just give me two new cups then? (even McDonalds does this for a $2 drink purchase) He said in a sharp arrogant voice, if you buy two more Pepsi's, I will! I admit, in haste I called him exactly what I was thinking and said "a-hole!" as I walked back to our table. When I came back to throw away the trash he was still sitting there and he started spouting off saying "you're an a-hole" (I assume because I made him look cheap & greedy in front of his employees). I replied that I just spent $150 for the three of us and he couldn't even give us a lousy fountain refill? He said, you think $150 is a lot of money? I said yes, for a lunch, it is. He said, I sell lobsters for $200 each so I don't care what the s#%t you think, I have been in business here for 50 years and I don't give a s#%t about you, go down the road and buy your next dinner. We were just passing through but I find it hard to believe why the locals in this town support this arrogant greedy business owner.

Yelp
Clam Chowder was amazing however the Lobster Roll was good but WAY to small for $35 Cape Cod or not and lose the Lettuce .

Yelp
Great Fisherman's platter. Very fresh Came in on a weekday night and got a monster plate. Couldn't finish it even though I tried.

Marjolein B.

Yelp
I decided to bite the bullet and splurge on a lobster roll. The Lobster Pot suddenly appeared on my right so I pulled in. For $32 this is what I got

Tina R.

Yelp
great service, delicious food with lots of options for all types of seafood and shellfish

Silas P.

Yelp
Warm lobster with fries. I'm visiting here for work, and my coworker wanted to go here. We entered the place and all the workers had bad attitudes. It was almost like they didn't want out $100 for 2 lobster plates. Lobster was Meh. The worst part is that as we're eating, they start turning off the lights while we're still eating on the inside. Asked for a refill on my drink, but they had turned off the soda machine. There are definitely better places for lobster in the area; taste and service wise.

Yelp
We ended up here because Eastwind Lobster was closed. The prices were extremely over the top high for lobster - and yes I know lobster prices are high right now and costs are going up everywhere BUT.. this was way over the top especially for the portion you got. And the girl working the cash register had no idea how to explain what the specific dishes were - like sautéed lobster which was actually just lobster in butter on a hot dog roll. I got the clam chowder (because all the signs said it was award winning) and the fried clam strip roll. The chowder was incredibly bland - extremely watery, tasted like milk with clams and potatoes in it. The clam strips were overflowing the roll and looked to be cooked perfectly but were very tough (tougher than a normal strip.) My kids had the kids fish boat and the fish was cooked good and the fries were good. My sister had the fried lobster which the batter lacked any flavor and seemed like a waste of good lobster. We definitely will not be stopping back here on the rare occasion we make it down to the area.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped in for some fresh fried shrimp and ended up getting the shrimp dinner. We received an ample amount of shrimp and tartar sauce, cole slaw and fries. The batter on the shrimp was so delicious and the shrimp was fried perfectly. Cole slaw was just as good. The fries were not noteworthy, but we definitely did not come for the fries. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our first experience at the Lobster Pot and will surely come back the next time we are in town.

Yelp
The clam chowder was 90% potatoes with three or four small strips of clam. The stuffed quahog was burned black on the outside and the taste was not great. The fried clams where subpar and the portions where small. I have gone to this place on and off my whole life and it has gotten progressively worse over the years. This will be the last visit for me. Terrible.

Charles S.

Yelp
The food was 5star, delivery is self service and the order # was announced clearly . The space is extremely clean, I saw the floor being swept often and the tables were cleaned almost immediately after dinners left. The restaurant is open and airy but the AC almost too cool, but who cared in terribly hot and humid weather.
google avatar

Christina B.

Yelp
The restaurant isn't much to look at but the food is delicious! I had a lobster roll with onion rings and a root beer. The lobster was perfectly cook and very flavorful and it had just enough Mayo mixed in. The toasted bun was very good too! The onion rings are hand made and were perfect! Hubby had the Seafood platter which had scallops, clam strips, shrimp and fish all deep fried. He said all of it was very fresh! (Not fresh from the freezer!) it also came with fries and coleslaw. We ate outside on the patio so our fur babies could join us. It sits right on a busy road so there wasn't much ambience. The food makes up for the location and lack of decor though!!! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Came here for a quick pit stop/first dinner enroute to our hotel because I thought this was THE Lobster Pot that Anthony Bourdain worked at for his first job. It was not. That being said, they actually have one of the best lobster rolls I've eaten on my Cape Cod trip and they were $5-$10 cheaper than the standard prices for lobster roll in most Cape Cod places. My fiancé and I ordered the lobster roll and crab roll instead of 2 lobster rolls mostly because I wanted to try the crab roll. Definitely regretted the decision when I tasted both. The toasted buns for both rolls were quite good - soft but with crispy edges. The Lobster roll was delicious - the serving of lobster meat was actually pretty generous and tasted very juicy, fresh, and tender. I actually love how they cooked the lobster because it's cooked to the exactly right degree where it's just cooked but remain perfectly tender. Quite a few of the other rolls I've had on my cape cod trips had chewy lobster meat which meant that they over cooked it. If I only had the lobster roll, I would have given them 5 stars based on their price, quality and value. But the crab roll really dragged down the star count. It was very under seasoned and also reminds me of packaged crab meat from Costco. We still ate it but definitely regretted ordering it. Overall, a decent pit stop for a fast service and very good lobster roll. I actually liked my lobster roll here more than some of the higher rated places in Cape Cod. But stick to the lobster roll because I can't speak to the consistent quality of the other items on their menu.
google avatar

Kimberly H.

Yelp
Super touristy. I didn't know better and came here on a late weekday night for dinner. I ordered ahead as we were staying on the cape and didn't have many options for food. We did two lobster rolls, clam chowder and fried clam strips. After ordering, he said food would be ready in 1 minute. I thought he was kidding but when I went inside for pick up it was empty. November is low season but the quality of food was mediocre especially for the price. It was about $30 per lobster roll. The clam strips didn't taste that fresh and the clam chowder was very thick.

Yelp
Being a Wareham resident, I have passed the Lobster Pot many times. I'm really not a fan of this side of town, and I don't usually go to restaurants in this area but we were looking for seafood on our way home from the Cape on a weeknight and our usual place was closed. I admit that I was a bit skeptical after seeing the empty parking lot when we pulled in. Upon entering the restaurant I immediately noticed how clean it was, including the tables in the dining area. Even from what I could see of the kitchen appeared clean. We had called ahead and our food was ready and waiting for us, which was great. We didn't want to wait until we got home so we decided to eat our food there. Everything was still hot and fresh. Among our order we had a shrimp plate, clam strip plate, and seafood platter. No one had any complaints about their meals. It is your typical fried seafood. The oil used for frying was clean, and nothing was over cooked. Even the coleslaw was decent. It cost us $72 due to the seafood platter and honestly I felt that the price was a bit high for 3 people. But overall I was pretty satisfied. Give this place a shot if you are in the area, don't worry about the empty parking lot!

Yelp
I travel throughout the country and I am always looking for that gem of a restaurant. Well, I certainly found it here. Speaking with the owner and hearing about his family's journey with this long established facility, I knew the food was going to exceptional and it far exceeded my expectations. The scallops and quahog were perfect and the steamed lobster, which I chose right out of the clean water tank, was one of the best I have ever had. Will definitely be coming back when my travels allow. One of the best seafood restaurants that I have ever visited!

Vikram M.

Yelp
Lobster Roll for $31.99 was tiny. It was a mini sized roll. For this price I expected 3 times the amount. I talked to the owner/manager and told him that they are ripping off customers by charging a steep price and giving so little in quantity. He claimed that this was because of fresher quality lobster. He literally told me not to come again if I was not satisfied. I highly recommend that people avoid The Lobster Pot. It's highway robbery...

L L.

Yelp
Over priced!!! Food okay, average. Got the lazy man lobster. A 3x6 tin of lobster, side of coleslaw they put in a butter cup. The rice was good. But for 40 plus dollars a RIP OFF!!! Do yourself a favor and save your money.
google avatar

Mitchell G.

Yelp
A Yearly Tradition ! I have been coming here here with my family since childhood. The food has always been fantastic, and the owners have always been kind. As a kid, i always got a frap and long hotdog. Now, the scallops and clam chowder are my favorites. They now have a bar area and live lobsters on display. The bathroom always clean, and the parking is ample. You will not be disappointed y this near Cape gem !

Yelp
Overdue review from our last trip to Cape Cod. So, on the way back from Provincetown, we stopped in this place to grab some lunch. Although it has the same name as the restaurant but we went in P-Town, it's very different in many ways. This is a quick-bite or takeout place. We ordered steamers, fried whole clam belly, and lobster roll. The best of all three was the clam belly. The Lobster roll was not bad but just couldn't beat the one we had at the deli near our hotel. The steamers we could do without. It was ok and quite small. Try the clam belly, worth trying! This place offers outside seatings. The inside dining is closed at the time. Enjoy your clams!

Steve P.

Yelp
i'm from the Boston area and have stopped at the Wareham lobster pot many times over the years and it is one of my favorite places for local seafood on the way to the cape. there's always one of the brother owners on the premises keeping an eye on things but there not that friendly to talk to but the food is always very good, they have the best fish and chips and fried lobster I've ever had. it's worth a visit.
google avatar

Dougy C.

Yelp
Just be patient with them on the phone and I promise you will not be sorry! They definitely 10000% care.
google avatar

Chloe D.

Yelp
This place is absolutely disgusting a order of fish and chips meal was 20 dollars for the smallest portion ever. The fries were cold and gross and stale. The cole slaw was disgusting and soggy. The clam chowder was in a small cup. The trader sauce smelt bad and was old. The food was above all flaverless and just unedible. The clam chowder also was watered down. The place smells and the bathroom is nasty. We left with hurt stomaches and food poisoning. And 40 dollars out of our pocket.

Michael G.

Yelp
Like a bad Seinfield adventure. Can I have a greek salad with Lobster on the top? NO you cant . How nuch is a clam dinner $32.99 .Tha ks can I have onion rings i stead of fries? NO . You can order Onion rings . Only ones in the restaurant. 3 waitresses behind the counter ... Number 36 Hello Number 36 . Asked my wife what is our number ? Food was OK . Only stop if you have to pee and are famished. Otherwise keep fighting the traffic.
google avatar

Kate L.

Yelp
This place is so dear to us as we've been visiting for many summers now! The BEST fried seafood (I get the whole belly clams or scallops). They are so good that I've stopped getting them anywhere else because I will be disappointed. If you want fancy, this is not for you.

Yelp
A HUGE five-star-plus rating to Lobster Pot for its HUGE lobsters and many other stellar attributes. This was easily in the top five of any dining experience to date. Let's run down some deets here: I am of the school of thought that says if you're going to eat teenie lobsters then buy 'em at Demoulas and cook 'em at home. It's better and faster and WAY cheaper than going out for them. If you want HUGE lobsters then go out 'cause it's tricky to cook 'em. Problem: Where do you get 'em at? They ain't EZ to find since they don't grow on trees. Yes, you may find a place (if you're lucky) that boasts two- or three-pounders but those ain't gunna cut it for me and my One. After calling a million places to no avail, I called The Pot and they had up to six or seven pounders in their live tanks as well as threes and fours n' stuff. WOOOOO!!! We arrived on a Friday nite after seven and it was nice and empty in there sans a couple at the "raw baw" and a table or two with a few peeps. It was very well decorated with the classic fun NE shack look with only one difference: It was very clean and organized and everything was in great condition and well maintained. Very impressed so far but it gets better... We were invited by the wicked friendly and informative owner, named Guy, to go peep out the live tank to select our monsters. I suggested to my One that we each get a six-pounder. And we did... I must admit that I could feel my wallet getter thinner and thinner as I anticipated the prices on these mega-money monsters. Guy rang 'em up... and... and... only $207.00 for both! OMG! It was short money! And this included our sodas (Pepsi). He informed us that it takes about 35 minutes to cook 'em and Moey made conversation with Guy as I looked around and decided to buy a couple Lobster Pot souvenir shirts for us. These were only 15 bucks a piece and are HQ Ts -thick and heavy with excellent graphics. Moey suggested that we go for broke and get some champagne to pair. As Rick Perry would say, "Why not?" YOLO. They have an extensive wine menu and even have Dom Perignon and many other fine bevs. Guy brought the champagne to our table in an ice bucket with two spotless champagne flutes. Now all we had to do was to toast and wait for our monsters to arrive... Here they come! WOW! Our jaws dropped as Guy placed 'em down with their own trays and the accoutrement trays separately. These looked like BEMs from a 1950s Sci-Fi! Cooked to perfection. We attacked these monsters like there was no tomorrow. Guy came by numerous times to check up and shoot the breeze. He intermittently offered to crack 'em since the claw shells were thicker than Obama's skull. Massive amounts of meat were gleaned. Moey had her usual dipping in butter and mayo and I had my usual with just butter. The taste and texture was out of this world. They were extremely mental and highly Festivus. We "did good" and almost finished them but did pack up some leftover (the smaller claw as well as the "kicky legs") in the state-of-the-art lobster leftover bags that he provided. In conclusion, I can not say enough positive about our experience at The Pot. Not only was the service and orchestration better than most any five-star restaurant but the price was a bargain. This is New England lobster at its finest. The Lobster Pot is "rustic elegance." And their HUGE lobsters are certainly not to be trifled with. GO HERE, YELPers! Get on The Pot! Thank you, Guy and Lobster Pot, for making a perfect evening for me and my One. You take great pride in your craft and your place is top-notch in all respects. See you next review, YELPers!

Yelp
The food is always fresh , well prepared and worth the price . Guy really knows his business and you can tell when you walk in as the food is prepared quickly . He is always there with a watchful eye to make sure that the quality of food , delivery stays to his high standard . Wareham has some great places to eat , this is one of them .

Yelp
I'm ever disappointed when I'm here at The Lobster Pot! This restaurant has such a friendly, laid back atmosphere that I love. The giant tank of live lobsters lets me know that the lobster here is fresh and cooked to order. They also have a huge variety of fried, broil and steamed menu options here, but let's be honest. I'm here for the lobster! I enjoyed the Steamed Lobster with Littlenecks and Corn. Everything was perfectly prepared, just like I would at home minus the clean up and extra mess! Huge parking lot, tons of Comfortable seating indoors and plenty of outdoor seating space as well. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
We had visitors down for Mother's day and decided to head here for lunch. A nice surprise was that on Mother's day every mother got a long stem rose. We started out with a small order of onion rings and two medium sodas. They did not have any combinations plates where you could pick out several items for your order other than the fisherman's platter. So that was a disappointment right off the bat as my wife and I usually like to order a 2 item combo plate at other fried seafood establishments. She ended up with the shrimp platter and I with the Fisherman's platter. The fisherman's platter came with clam strips, fish, scallops, shrimp. I wanted whole belly clams with my platter so that was 12 dollars more to get that platter which substituted for the clam strips but you got and extra piece of fish with that. All in all the meal cost us 69.00 dollars - I will let you decide if the cost was worth it. Please see our posted photos

Yelp
SO very goood. Sat outside, wine, chowdah, and lobstah roll, oh...so good! Perfect way to escape Covid.

Yelp
Overpriced, overrated. I have had much better seafood in RI. The chowder is a bit bland and watery. The clam strips are decent but I've had better at Franks in Brockton. My 9 y/o son has a life threatening food allergy (peanut/treenut) so I asked the manager what if anything was safe for him to eat. He asked me to repeat the question as he didn't understand it. The cashier giggled. I repeated it and he said that anything at the raw bar is safe (steamed seafood/lobsters). Everything else is cross contaminated (everything fried as well as chowder). He wasn't interested in anything from the raw bar so settled for Mcdonalds down the road. We bought a clam strip boat, bowl of chowder, 1 soda and bottle of water = $25.00. Overpriced for the portion and quality. I most likely would not return. Overall not impressed.

Peter L.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor - when you're in the neighborhood, Google places to go so you don't end up here. The two stars are for them getting the order correct, as well as the fish sandwich being fresh. Unfortunately, it's not the only fresh thing in the restaurant, as the deer-eyed staff and angry management care little for the customers' experience. But hey - don't take my word for it - go check it out, and we'll see you back here with your "shoulda listened" experience.
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Went here because the Oxford Creamery in Mattapoisett was closed. It wasn't bad but $6 for a cup of clam chowder that was bland as hell was just way too much. They gave me some bullshit excuse as to why they don't do do soda refills and then $32 for a lobster roll! Jesus...

Noreen F.

Yelp
Literally the BEST fried clam strips I've ever had! So fresh, juicy, sweet, and plump. I have ordered them at least ten times so far and each time they are exactly the same awesome quality and plump sweet deliciousness! Also, the sweetest Steamed lobsters I have had in and around Cape Cod. It is a casual environment with large booths inside and picnic tables outside. Not the best curb appeal -looks like a tourist trap but it's totally worth stopping if on Route 6 in Wareham. I'm heading there again today and can't wait!

Yelp
Pretty good lobster roll with tasty meat, a nicely toasted bun and not a lot of filler. Super fast service and with a smile. Lots of AC seats inside and clean eating areas, outside. Tons of parking.

Nancy S.

Yelp
Over the weekend called here to get the price of Lobsters (market side not restaurant) We we're told $9.99 lb. At that point we ordered 34 STEAMED lobsters to be picked up. We sent husbands to go pick up they gave them their credit card and returned with the lobsters. We looked at the receipts after they came back and realized they must have made a mistake so instead of $15 a lobster (1 1/2 lb) they were $25. We called and to inquire we're told there was a $10 charge per lobster to steam them which was a total of $340. We spoke to the owner and discussed the fact that we were never made aware of these charges and he proceeded to lie and say they don't give prices over the phone. We told him his employee did and took our order. The price is what determined we were going there instead of Market Basket up the road. He was in no way apologetic he honestly didn't care that he took advantage which is the hardest part of this whole situation. He continued to lie and say that's why they don't take orders over the phone. Clearly he can't trust his employees to give the correct info. I'm sure because he is in a tourist area he could care less about customer service because so many people stop their once. Hey I get it we all have bills to pay but this is not how you should run a business. I and a few others will not support his business.

Therese M.

Yelp
Everything, fried as well as steamed foods, was delicious & cooked perfectly. Everyone was pleasant as well.

Yelp
Outstanding!!!! I grew up on the back end of a lobster boat out of Humarock, and know a thing or two about lobster.... this place gets it right! Been there about 20 times and never had a bad meal. I always mix it up and try something different... never disappointed. Highest recommendation.
google avatar

Toni P.

Yelp
Great service! We got clam chowder, onion rings and Fisherman's Platter. Everything was so good!!!! On par with Woodman's of Essex! Would go again!
google avatar

Jenna S.

Yelp
This cost me $20.99, there's only 11 small clams. I know this place is expensive but that's such a rip off I'm sorry. Not to mention the guy behind the counter wasn't friendly either. Not sure if I'll be coming back. I can get a larger quantity and same quality for half the price somewhere else.

Shane N.

Yelp
Just went to water wizz on this HOT day. Stop at lobster pot for a lobster roll and it was DELICIOUS!! WELL WORTH IT. Clam chowder is just OK but the fish & chip was good. I probably won't go out my way to travel from Boston but I will DEFINITELY come back when I go back to Water Wizz!!
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
Best steamed lobster , steamers, fried clam strips!!! Had to come off the Cape to get it this good. We spotted a 10 pounder in the tank ! Settled for one 2lb and one 3lb. Fresh and delicious. Highly recommend !

Yelp
So I love Lobster Pot BUT I'm still only giving it a 3-star review because, honestly, that's all it deserves. You can tell it's an establishment that was once a glorified seafood eatery that both locals and tourists enjoyed. The faded awards on the wall, all are from prior to 2010. The "best clam chowder" is watery at best with chunks of potato and a few clams. The steamers that I love have slowly over time become more gritty and sandy, despite thoroughly dunking it in the cleaning broth. The service can be slow but most likely a result of the lines that form during the summer months. So why do I still go here? Because there are few places that I can go and get a fisherman's platter with lobster, steamers, and corn on the cob in one meal for under $35. Also, if the mood strikes I can get a 5lb lobster. What this place lacks in quality, it certainly doesn't lack in quantity. There is something on their menu that everyone will love. I'm not huge on fried seafood, but I've had the scallops and clams and both were solid. Not a Cape Cod staple like it once was, but still worth stopping by if you've got a craving.

Yelp
Had to stop at this lovely roadside lobster spot. Clean Clean Clean. Had the fried lobster platter with fries , cole slaw and drawn butter. Yummy ! Got a cup of chowda Togo for lunch tomorrow !

Yelp
I have eaten here frequently and it's good. It's an "in the rough" style restaurant, no table wait service. As someone who lives in the general area I never buy lobsters or steamers as I prefer to get them myself can cook them. Other than that this is a very good and authentic New England seafood restaurant.

Yelp
I ordered the seafood casserole. It's doesn't fill you up. Also they don't remove the shell! They've got to do better for $30!!

Yelp
This place was just what I wanted. Super traditional seafood restaurant for the best lobster roll I've ever had. Seriously scrumptious huge pieces of lobster and they didn't scrimp at all. I also noticed the place was refreshingly clean and kept up! Good job!
