This is my go-to place for sustainable fresh fish! Whenever I want to make fresh poke bowls, this is always my first stop. I love that they carry tuna toro, perfect for fresh sushi nights at home. The quality and freshness of their seafood never disappoint. The team is fantastic—they always make sure my filets are perfectly prepared and portioned just how I like them. Highly recommend for anyone who loves high-quality seafood and exceptional service!

Local 130 was recommended by our neighbor. They seem very friendly and helpful in the store. We were looking for salmon burgers that they were out but we hope to go back again.

Terrible company. Ordered $50 worth of prawns with $30 for shipping on top. The lady on the phone said it would be here yesterday it still isn't here. And now, apparently, it's just rolling around on a UPS van in 23-degree weather. I had a very important client I was cooking for who specifically requested these Skull Island prawns. Now, this has cost me my reputation and my money due to their negligent delivery service. Companies that sell perishables are supposed to abide by certain guidelines to ensure freshness. On top of this not one single phone call was answered to provide an explanation!

5/5/25 RE: LocalSeafood130.Com Seafood Delivery Service Of Asbury Park NJ ----- First time purchase of 5 lbs of sashimi-grade salmon came very chilled on ice today. ----- I had a question and so I emailed the company for a call back and spoke to the CEO/Founder who was upbeat, kind, professional and approachable. ----- I gave a few small suggestions as a brand new customer, which he welcomed, and I will definitely buy from this place again! ----- The fish quality is SUPERIOR! ----- I learned the fish is flown over fresh from Norway and fed organic, quality food, which is served in local restaurants that only desire fresh fish. ----- As a sashimi lover, the presentation of the fish is clean, fresh with no smell, great color from the natural food-recipe it's fed, is plump/springy, buttery, are very good cuts! (They offer a skinless option as well!)

I prepared a fresh ceviche with red snapper and sushi salmon. Local 130 has fresh fish every time.
