Local 3 Grill & Tap

First, we were seated and our waitress took our order right away because there was a group of about 20 who was just getting their order in and she was going to try and get out in before theirs, and she did so we got our food in about 5 minutes, steaming hot! That was awesome!! Food was excellent. We both ordered the Gyros with fries. There was so much meat and fillings, it was hard to eat, but we managed 😋. The tzatziki sauce was very fresh and homemade and was the best we've ever had. Fries were fresh and hot, well seasoned. Ice tea was also excellent. Although they were fairly busy, noise level was good even with a big group was close. Music was soft, not overbearing like many places. Our server was great, checked on us several times. First time here but we'll definitely be back.

Those Onion Rings are amazing 👏 Love the batter, has lots of flavor! My Daughter loved the Backyard Burger she had, My Granddaughter liked her Grilled Cheese! The other 2 of us weren't fond of our Mushroom Burgers.. For us it had too much of a jerk burger taste and we're not fond of that. Could've used more cheese and grilled mushrooms & onions. Yes we know you can add extra. Service was great, friendly staff, atmosphere was great, and very clean and tidy!

Found this place on a small roadtrip in the area. First off they were very welcoming when we walked in. Took a seat in a booth and within a minute or less our waitress came over. Super nice and friendly lady. Took our drink order and then our food order. Food came out pretty quickly, not a long wait at all. Got the barnyard burger and it was delicious, egg over easy, bacon, cheese, and French fries. Got curly fries as the side. My girlfriend got the olive burger and curly fries. Everything was very delicious. Also the burgers are very big so bring your appetite. Prices were very reasonable.

My handsome husband took me here for dinner for the first time. We went without reservations approximately 6:00 p.m. on a Wednesday. The atmosphere was clean and quiet. The server was friendly and fast! The food was absolutely perfect! The cost was reasonable. Absolutely no complaints and I can’t wait to enjoy a meal here again!!

Very disappointed We have been wanting to try this place for a while. It was wing Tuesday so my husband had the wings. They were terrible! They had a taste to them and he tried all afternoon to get that taste out of his mouth. The bones were black which means they had been frozen. I had the windmere French dip sandwich. It was not great but the aus juis did have flavor. We would not go back. My husband is still complaining & trying to figure out what the "taste" was on the wings. It was no wonder that at 12:30 pm right at peak lunchtime there was only one other diner & he was at the bar.

Food was ok. The spinach artichoke dip was delicious. Husband like the onion rings. French dip was just ok. Burger was huge he said it was good but hard to eat

I had a great experience eating at Local 3. Their food is fresh well cook and seasoned reasonable prices and very tasty.

We live in Coloma and started going to local 3 Grill and Tap a couple months ago. I cannot say enough great things about this wonderful neighborhood restaurant! First..the food is Fantastic and I don't care what you order as we have tried several items on the menu from the fish tacos, pizza, burgers to wraps..everything is always cooked to perfection and the servings are a lot. No skimping on portions in this restaurant. I am not a person who eats fries but their regular fries are killer! The appetizers we've had are so good. The potato skins are more like loaded baked potatoes and amazing! Had the spinach artichoke dip also last night and I have to say hands down the best spinach artichoke dip our family has ever tried. Whoever the chef is..is the best! But most of all I think what makes Local 3 the best family restaurant is the people who serve you. We have always received the best service even when they're busy. They honestly care about their customers and treat you as neighbors. They're so genuine. My husband and I worked really hard all day yesterday demo'ing our garage after a fire from a lightning strike a couple weeks ago and hadn't eaten all day and I just happened to mention it to our waitress as part of the conversation and she made sure to bring us one of our appetizers as soon as it was ready so we could have something to eat before the other one was ready just so we had something to start on. It's little things like that, that make a world of difference and a place feel like home to their customers. You can tell from the cooks to the wait staff to the young man who was bussing all the tables that they really give their all and we as their customers notice and appreciate them so much! Yes this restaurant is busy but they are really good at taking care of you and doing it all with a smile. I felt bad for them last night because they close at 9pm. You know they're tired but ppl were still coming in at 8:30pm which meant that they were absolutely not going to get out of there to go home until really late. I think at that late hour ppl should be more considerate..but they still had a genuine smile as they handed those ppl a menu. God Bless you guys at Local 3..what you do is amazing and I would (and do) Highly Recommend anyone to go and check them out! An awesome local family restaurant with Heart! Local 3 is a hidden gem for Watervilet. We walked in on a Friday night and while the decor isn't anything special, almost all of the tables were filled; families, couples, and friends could all be found enjoying the food. Our waitress was attentive and funny in that small town kind of way. The food itself was fantastic and plentiful. My partner's Buffalo chicken wrap was perfectly saucy and the produce was crisp. My flamethrower burger had a really nice kick to it, but not in a way that I had to grab water in between every bite. The curly fries are also phenomenal! We'll be back when we're up at the lake.

When this restaurant opened, the food was terrific. Fast forward a few years and I don't know of many people who, once they had the unfortunate experience of dining there, would ever go back. If you're looking for frozen fried food - look no further. Also, you're screwing your to-go people out of decent tip $$ by adding a charge for to-go orders. I'd have hoped this place would get it together but no. They have not. Avoid this place!

Outstanding food, service and ambience. Gyros were absolutely outstanding! Shrimp tacos were delicious. Good selection of beers and wine. Fully stocked back bar.

What the place lacks in service, it makes up for in taste and portion size. My sister and I split orders of the gyro and shrimp taco's, and there was so much food left over. Everything arrived fresh and hot and tasted good. We're just passing through on our way from Detroit to Chicago, glad to have found this place on Yelp.

We stopped by last night on a spur-of-the-moment decision. Upon arriving, the atmosphere was clean and welcoming, with a clear local vibe that matched the name. We decided to sit at the bar. My husband ordered a beer he enjoyed, while I stuck with water. We came specifically for appetizers and decided to try the Jacked-Up Tots, which are loaded tater tots. Unfortunately, when the dish arrived, the cheese on top was burnt, and it was garnished with pickled jalapeños and carrots. Despite the appearance, we ate it without raising concerns, and it was just okay. Later that night, however, I started feeling sick and spent the entire night dealing with stomach pain, dizziness, and nausea, which lasted into the next morning. Needless to say, I won't be returning. If you do decide to go, I'd suggest sticking to drinks--the food isn't worth it.

My husband and I have been coming to the Local 3 for a couple years, sometimes making the 30 minute drive from our house with no other purpose than coming here to grab some takeout. We always do takeout and haven't sat down, but the employees have always been friendly when we come in. I would like to sit down one day, however, because everyone seems to enjoying themselves and it isn't ever over crowded when I come in to grab the food. This last time I needed to use the restroom real quick before we left and I noted it was clean. My husband got his usual barnyard burger and I ordered a club salad with extra ranch on the side. Our food was ready when we got there since we had called ahead, which was nice since we were both very hungry and ready to head home so we could dig in to our dinner. My salad was fantastic. I don't consistently get salads but I thought I'd try one from here today and it was really good. Loved the amount of cheese they put on, a nice layer right on top. As a cheese lover it was appreciated, and I didn't even ask for extra or anything which I usually would have to ask a place to put on extra cheese to have enough on an item to make me happy. Bacon is usually an item I avoid on salads because a lot of places just don't have great bacon bits, but the bacon on my club salad was great. I had request an extra ranch and later realized it automatically came with 2 cups so I got 3 in total. I did end up using most of the ranch but I had my doubts I'd need the last cup in the beginning. My husband really liked his barnyard burger and said they made the egg on it just right. He also commented that he enjoyed his bacon and the brioche bun. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, we shall be back soon.

Greeted by Sarah as we walked in. Friendly, cheerful. Not the typical "oh yeah, everything's good" waitress. She provided honest opinions about the food that proved spot on. Onion rings appetizer... she said they were big and great. She was a little off on the size. Huge came to mind. Sweet and just enough texture inside, perfectly crispy batter on the outside. Just the way you'd make them if you could make them this good. Mushroom Swiss burger for the main event. This is a great burger. A lot of places don't know how to cook to order; the cook here knows his stuff. Talking with him, that confidence comes out. He's grateful for praise, but not surprised by it. I like that. Bun was toasted and perfectly so. Mushrooms are fresh, not canned. Swiss cheese melted perfectly for serving and eating. Burger cooked medium rare as requested. Nothing could have improved it. They have a good selection of beers and microbrews here, as well as a bar for all the standard cocktails. These guys opened during the shutdown, and survived. Go support them, and be rewarded with great bar food, good drinks, and a friendly staff and crowd.

Local 3 is a very pleasant setting and I received good service there. However the Rueben sandwich fell well short of expectations. There were strips of corned beef as opposed to slices. It simply was not a good sandwich. I may go back but will be more careful in selecting a meal there.

The food is outstanding, and the selection made it easy for our family of 4 with 2 picky eaters to find something. Good waitstaff and quick service. Just a little sticker shock for a small town, but I guess that is true of most places now.

Local 3 rocks! Awesome food and great atmosphere. My husband and I go there a lot when we are in town. The pizza, wraps wraps & burgers are good. My ultimate favorite is the the Chicken White Bean Chili. So damn yummy! Definitely order urself a bowl you will thank me. The best thing about Local 3 is the service. Special shout out to our favs, Mel & Ashley they are always so friendly and Ashley ( the server) is so funny & makes it a good time!

Great food and service. Smokehouse burger was amazing and huge!! Fries also delicious. Extensive selection of craft beers. The service was excellent - very pleasant server. Prices reasonable too. Highly recommend!!

Very poor & bizarre experience. 10/27/24, three of us came, one suggested this with Superbook since we were in the area for wineries. Upon arrival server said they do not honor Superbook. Why, gave no explanation. Took very long to return even to take drink order. Took very long to even bring the drinks. We inquired if manager was present to ask out of curiosity why not accept the coupon? Server's reply was he's watching the game right now. That is mind blowing... Also irrelevant to us as far as what his job entails. It's definitely not to watch the Lions game. ?? They are clearly listed in for the season in super book coupon book. Server spoke with manager and filled him in. It was obvious they were talking about our table. He never came to our table. He mumbled something and walked away in his lions hat and sweatshirt, and the server was pretty negligent and distant to our table. The food did take a long time, but fortunately the two sandwiches were very delicious. Salad bar basic and over priced. But Compliments to the chef. Server completely ignored The issue, also Never asked how our food was. She barely paid attention to us, zero out of 10 recommend.

Just met friends at Brewsters. I had a quesadilla which was over cooked though the filling was good. The other 3 diners with me had a so so experience with the food. The thing that was obvious was lack of cleaning! The floor was covered in broken chips, wet spots and no attempt was made to clean it the 2 hours we were there. They were not busy when we came in so I cannot imagine that staff cares! If the dining room is dirty, it makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Our server was a kind waitress but seemed oblivious to the dirty floor. I am handicapped and falls can be extremely dangerous! We will NOT be back!

Great little restaurant off the downtown business. The place has been renovated very well. Their service is great. Upon entering you see high tops and low top table to sit down and enjoy the meal. They have some great choices and offerings. Keno is available and the bar has a great selection of local and domestic brews. Their wine list is very good and can be paired well with the food. There v are shorts TV and good music.

We stopped in Local 3 during our visit to the Watervliet 4th of July Celebration. Seems like a bit of a hidden gem! The food was delicious and the service was good, although a bit pricey. Our family of 4 (two teenagers) all enjoyed the food, which isn't normal! We would definitely eat here again

We had a great meal with equally great service. The garlic cheese curds were very good. I had a side of broccoli, perfectly done. He had "French dip" and fries. Liked it. First visit, will return.

My wife and I walked after being ignored by the waitress. Waitress watched us sit down. She only had 3 occupied tables. As we were waiting another couple walked in and sat down. The waitress immediately went over to them and began talking. She then took their drink order. It was obvious to us she knew them. After delivering their drinks she continued to talk to them and ignoring us. As we got up to walk out the table next to us informed us we were the 2nd couple to walk out from our table. I don't recommend Local 3.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Wonderful food, service and very clean! In the area for a family wedding and came here and everyone loved the food! We had a Buffalo chicken wrap, hamburgers, and spicy chicken sandwich with fries and it was all very good!

The owner went on vacation and the lead messed up our whole order. was told call in 3 days and we did. again call in another 3 days. it is not cheap to eat there our bill was over $70. we just wanted our food remade why do we have to wait 3 days then another on top!?

Hidden treasure, clean for service great all American food and a great price family friendly

Used to be The Elite Bar, but three locals turned it into a very nice, casual place to eat and drink. Food has been consistently good. Recently ordered the cheese curds as our appetizer. Very hot and cheese was gooey, great flavor. Came out very hot, which l appreciate. Then l ordered a cup of the White Chicken Chili. Thick and hardy, very nice spicy kick to it. Good amount of chicken to beans ratio. The Greek salad was a big portion. Maybe after the curds and chili, my eyes were bigger than my stomach! As you can see, lots of feta, plenty of roasted red peppers and an abundance of olives. I like olives, but this was a bit too much for me. I had no issue pushing some to the side. It came with chicken, but l prefer my Greeks without it. Dressing comes on the side, which l appreciate. Very light and airy inside. Place was very clean. Pepper shakers should have fine pepper in them as it was hard to shake out. Had to open the top to get some out. Highly recommend. Looking forward to trying more entrees. Great restaurant for such a small town.

Went Saturday night based on reviews and we weren't disappointed. Ribeye dinners were excellent and service was great.

The food is always great. Our waitress, Ashley is way beyond "Mediocre +". We absolutely love her. I also like the jukebox for a personalized experience.

This place has terrible service. They didn't come to the table once in the first 30 minutes and they had a horrible attitude towards us. My buddy who just turned 21, they'd don't even allow him to have a drink a week after his birthday because he had a vertical ID. Absolutely ridiculous that they would do that. The food was also horrible and didn't have any taste in it. Another thing along with the service was that it after we ordered food it took an hour and half to get our entrees and we also did not even get one of our appetizers we ordered. One thing with the scenery was that there was a bunch of locals there that were swearing up a storm with young kids around and yelling obscene words and no one did a thing about it with young kids. I will never recommend this to anyone ever and will never be coming back here.

We came here after a funeral. The waitress we great and attentive. The only thing we didn't like is how cold it was inside. Everything we order was good. Loved the Gouda bites and spinach dip.

Food was good, I ordered Wings and my party ordered some burgers and fries. All tasted amazing! As far as pricing goes, it's pretty cheap for the food your getting! Service was great too! Lady was polite. Music wasn't too loud, and there was even Sports Playing on the TV's. Great place and definitely recommend for a night out with a few friends.

One of my favorite places in the area. Great beers on tap. Friendly staff and great food. The steak wrap is soooo good. Love the curly fries.

We went here on a Friday night at 9:30 because we heard that their kitchen was open till 10 PM. To our delight the place was rocking, and we had a really nice time. We ordered two Jordan Cabernets, shared a delicious Philly cheesesteak, and also shared some portobello fried mushrooms with ranch dip. Both items were delicious, and our server was awesome. We will definitely be back.

Great place to get out to during the pandemic as they are following guidelines and serving up great food and cold beer

Four of us had dinner last night and we all tried something dinner and everything was delicious. We heard they needed more help, but we did not experience and problems. The service was good and the food came out hot and quickly. We will be back it was very nice.
