Well, this was such a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, enjoyed the real diner vibe and everything was cooked properly and tasted splendidly enough to clean our plates the serving size were more than enough as I could not finish though I sure did try, it was so hitting the spot. Great to go early sat morning and then walk it off as your peruse the farmers market. Now Go get your grub on.

01.24.26 stopped at Local Diner and to our surprise they were open even though it's an icy day out. We were instantly greeted and sat. Drink orders and food order taken promptly. My husband ordered the Texas burger and fries and I ordered biscuits and gravy. EVERYTHING was freaking delicious!!! The best biscuits and gravy I've had in a long time. My husband loved his burger and the fries were so delicious. I highly recommend stopping at this restaurant. I've never been treated so kindly in a restaurant before. It was like visiting family.

First time dining at Local Diner in Coppell. It definitely won't be the last. The food. Atmosphere, and staff were simply amazing. We felt welcomed from the time we entered until the time we left. Thanks for the hospitality and great food. "I'll be back"

The owner Eric was wonderful! Very sweet and attentive! We were celebrating a birthday and forgot a lighter for the candles. He drove to the store and got a lighter so we could celebrate! How sweet and thoughtful! The food was amazing! Service 100/100!

Had the most amazing time at the small local dinner. Sat right in the front row where they prepare your food. The new manager, Eric, was definitely on point. I have never witnessed a manager in the food industry being so positive and kind to his employees and being so involved in helping with the heavy flow of food orders. It was so refreshing to see someone in that position being to kind to his employees. Shout out to Cassandra for being an awesome waitress from start to finish. We will be back the next time we are in town.

This is the best American breakfast I’ve ever had. Prices are fair for the quality and execution of food. Service from management it’s outstanding. Waiters could be more proactive in providing solutions instead of just listening and waiting for an order. Ambience was fun, it is a really nice place and the way it’s build reduces noise. Very clean place as well. Will definitely return.

I walked in and was served almost immediately. Had multiple people make sure I was taken care of. Food was amazing and was so good. The portions are big so I had to take it home. As I was paying the owners (who were working right along their staff so mad respect) came up to make sure I was satisfied and asked for my name. I think I found a new favorite place.

This diner is pretty much everything I could ask for in a diner. The interior has super cute diner vibes with cute booths and tables with curtains between them if you want a little more privacy. ;) There is also a bar you can sit at if you want as you want in. The wait can be a little bit in the mornings on the weekend but otherwise there is not much of a wait. The food is good and comes out fairly quickly and the variety of options is just enough so you don’t get overwhelmed. They have breakfast, lunch, diner, “blue plates”, and even desserts. Service is nice and the staff always make you feel welcome and at home. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to try a local diner out with a cozy feel to it. The prices can seem a little high for a diner but the quality of the food is not “diner” quality and the portions are pretty good, too. Definitely recommend their pancakes. They are really big, fluffy, and have a really nice vanilla flavor!
