"Local Goat There are plenty of places to grab a burger and a beer in the Smoky Mountains, butnot many are as memorable as Local Goat. It’s one of the few restaurants in the Gatlinburg area to source local ingredients, and the kitchen's attention to detail shows. In addition to the signature gourmet burgers, there’s also a diverse selection of entrées that range from teriyaki kebabs to shrimpand grits. It’s also the place in the area with the widest variety of beers from around Appalachia—the diversity of Local Goat’s extensive tap lineup is impressive."

We had dinner here on 06/11/25. We waited about an hour for two people. Once we got sat our server was very kind and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the Elvis Burger and the Fettuccine Rocco pasta. After waiting for 25 minutes for our food the food finally came out, and needless to say the food lacked flavor. The presentation of the food was very good but as I said the food lacked flavor. The prices were a bit on the higher end, but you do get decent amount of food. Overall we would maybe come and try it again but that experience that day was “decent”.

Google
Terrific food at this restaurant! They proudly proclaim how the cook using locally sourced ingredients, and the flavor of the food verifies this. All of our meals were really good. The burger was really tasty and I had the half rack of ribs and there was a ton of meat on them! And the homemade french fries were really outstanding. The atmosphere wasn't anything special, but the food was great!

We had an awesome lunch at Local Goat in Pigeon Forge, TN! I ordered the Tennessee Whiskey Burger and it was hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the ranch dressing was excellent. My wife tried the vegetarian burger and was really impressed. While there aren’t a ton of vegetarian options beyond salads, the quality of what they offer is great. The craft beer selection at Local Goat was another highlight—tons of good choices. Our server, Ali, was very friendly and helpful throughout the meal. It did take a little longer to get our check at the end, but she seemed busy so we understood. The atmosphere inside was nice, but it was really cold indoors and the men’s restroom could have been cleaner. Minor issues though, because overall the food and service were top-notch. If you’re visiting Pigeon Forge and looking for a great burger restaurant with a strong beer list, Local Goat is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!

Google
Food was delicious! Lots of craft beer options - including their own. We sat at the bar - fast and friendly service, very attentive. Deviled eggs are a must! Lamb burger was delicious and hubby devoured his wicked shrimp pasta. Highly recommend!

Google
Amazing experience here at local goat. Server Jamie's service was unmatched. Gave the best recommendations and was extremely attentive. The food was very fresh and cooked with precision. I would recommend everyone to try this local eatery. Green tomatoes and deep-fried deviled eggs are an absolute must, and I do not even like deviled eggs one bit. The black and blue burger was perfect as well. All around, extremely satisfied.

Squirrel was our waiter and was helpful & friendly! The food came out at a good speed of time. The steaks were good but had a little too much fat. The cheese fondue was delicious. I got a blackberry mule and it was refreshing. I’d go back.

Google

I will ALWAYS come here when I come to Pigeon Forge! It was recommended by my wife who’s actually has been there before. It was my first time. Absolutely amazing!!!!!

Google
Every time we have visited Pigeon Forge, we have driven by the Local Goat. The parking lot is always packed! This trip we decided to brave the line and give it a go. The lobby was full, but with only having 2 in our party, we were able to be seated immediately. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. We really enjoyed the half order of onion rings to get started. We had the Maui Chicken (a big win) and the Shrute Burger (ok, but wouldn't order again). The fries are delicious! Shout out to Shelby who was extremely friendly and took great care of us!

Yelp
We stopped through Pigeon Forge on our way to Kentucky from Georgia and our hotel was right next door. We arrived at 4:30 PM thinking it would be a light crowd, but the entire parking lot was full, but luckily there was one car pulling out when we arrived. They said the wait would be 45 minutes. So after getting on the wait list, we went next door to explore the Snow park. They texted us after only 25 min that our table was ready. Our server, Dakota, was exceptional. He knew the menu well, conversed with the customers, and was attentive to our table. Never had a lamb burger before and it was pretty good. My son ordered the Maui chicken and it was very flavorful. Portions were good and the price was reasonable. Very clean and well-run inside with everyone doing their jobs professionally. It's easy to see why this restaurant is so popular and glad we stopped by.

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch because of the great view. Even though it was very busy during lunchtime, we only had to wait about 20 minutes. Pros * The service was excellent. * Portions were huge. * Great wine selection--highly recommend the white wine blend! Cons * Based on the good reviews, my expectations were high, but the food fell short. * Everything we ordered (salmon and chicken) was just okay--they are all missing flavor

Yelp
Had an amazing meal here! Try and get in the wait list early We went at 5:30, and there was still an hour wait. But, definitely worth it. We started with the deviled eggs as an appetizer. Our entrées were Dr.P ribs, and Hubby got Maui chicken The fried deviled eggs were very tasty, little different than what you would normally think as a deviled egg served. The chicken was very juicy and tender, with just enough bbq seasoning to stand out. The shoestring french fries were very tasty. And a whole plate of them as a serving. They were so good. The Dr.P ribs were served with coleslaw. And yes, they were fall off the bone. Slow cooked for 12 to 16 hours. Smothered in Dr Pepper infused BBQ sauce. They were delicious! We're from Texas and we know great BBQ, and that was, one of the best ribs I have ever had ever!! We opted to get dessert. We got bread pudding with their caramel bourbon sauce. It was so yummy, very light for bread pudding. And the hightof it was wowza! Could only eat a couple of bites. Especially after all the food we had prior to we got it to go. The restaurant is very large and has quite a bit of seating for two, or all the way to large parties. Again advise to get on the waitlist early. They're busy all the time. They do have a full bar with a selection of wines, and spirits that you can choose from. The service was impeccable! Our server was from Croatia. And she was very attentive as to our needs. If you're ever in the Pigeon Forge area, this is the place to go. Their menu has a variety of options for meat lovers, to vegans. It's all going to be fabulous. Whatever you decide to choose. Great job LOCAL GOAT! Keep up the great work.

Yelp
The Local Goat in Pigeon Forge is a must-visit for great food and a fun atmosphere! Their wings are perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the fries are crispy and delicious. The cheese fondue appetizer is a standout--rich, creamy, and great for sharing. However, be prepared for a long wait, especially during peak times, but the food and service make it worth it. Plan ahead, and you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Looked like a local popular restaurant that had quite a line waiting to get in. We got the deep fried deviled eggs, nachos, and burgers. I'm not sure why people like the fried deviled eggs (only the whites of the eggs are fried), but it seemed popular. The burgers are typical burgers. The food came out fast. Price was average. Service was good. There wasn't anything amazing but the locals seem to like it a lot.
google avatar

Yelp
There is a wait here so I recommend getting a reservation or be prepared to wait. There is a bar where you can hangout and drink and order food if you don't want to wait. The wait is typically shorter than the advertised time which is great. Their pina colada jello shots were pretty good and they're true to their name of having local beer selection which was excellent. The food was kind of disappointing. For all the accolades we saw and the endorsement from customers walking out the door, I felt like a lot of the items fell flat. We started off with the fried green tomatoes and those were just ok. The smoked shrimp and crab bisque bowl was kinda meh. Not chunky enough and the soup super heavy. The fish and chips were decent along with the remoulade. The shrimps and grits were decent. The meatloaf was pretty good. The lamb burger I got was dry and the fries were abnormally salty even for me even though I'm a salty fries person. The service was pretty good and the staff was super nice and attentive.

Yelp
If I could give 7 Stars I would. This place is phenomenal. Manager visited the table due to an allergy then cooked the steak himself! This my friends is service the way it shoukd Deep Fried Deviled Eggs. These power house eggs are really good. Served a bit warm due to the deep fry but the cru ch on the breading with the sweet egg mix is outta this world. Local sourced to the max! House Salad - crunchy lettuce and plenty of goodness with an abundance of bleu cheese dressing. This is a hit too Hawaiian Ribeye - Bad A$$ steak people. Fork tender, cooked perfectly medium as requested. Sweet but not too sweet that the flavor of the beef is lost. Juicy, Juicy, Juicy with nice sear lines. Kudos! Creme Brûlée - what can I say here other than Holy Crap this is the creamiest, best tasting creme that I have ever had. Sweetness with the best crunch of burned sugar! Don't miss it

Yelp
Great place for dinner! Centrally located, plenty of parking, touristy but not overly so. We made reservations and still had to wait but only about 10 mins or so, bypassed most of the line. Several specials, we got half price bottles of wine on Saturday night. The Bison Meatloaf was very tasty but a touch on the dry side. The Jackson Hole Bison burger on the other hand, was spectacular. And the sauce, the au jus, oh my. You won't have any left because you'll drink the rest out of the cup.
google avatar

Yelp
We came here after a long day and just wanted something small. We each got a small salad and dessert and it left us wanting more. The house made dressings were delicious and you could really tell just how fresh the ingredients were. The service was fast and the servers were all friendly and helpful since most people were from out of town. I would go back!

Yelp
Thankfully we had a reservation, because this place is always packed to the brim. We really enjoyed our food and the service was friendly and quick! We all got very different things, but all in our party enjoyed what they got.

Yelp
This place was almost a must for us to try and luckily there were a few open spots at the bar. We had an appetizer and two dishes. Both were great but not fantastic. The Elvis burger wasn't as good as expected.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a must on your trip to Pigeon Forge. The onion rings were exceptional with the jalapeño ranch sauce. The hands cut sirloin and cheese grits were spectacular. I can't even explain how good the TN whiskey burger was as well. Almost Everything is locally grown or made in house. No high fructose corn syrup, hormones, gmos, etc. They even bake their bread in house for the burgers. Our server Bryan (squirrel) was amazing. He explained the menu and what makes this restaurant special. We loved the ambiance.
google avatar

Erikka T.

Yelp
The food was flavorful, well cooked and made to order. We love the options at this family owned establishment! Constantine was an attentive server and we always had everything we needed. The volume in the restaurant is a bit loud but that means everyone is having fun!
google avatar

Amanda W.

Yelp
Excellent food options with extensive menu. Attentive staff from host(s) greeting was immediate as was seating on to our server who was always around regardless of the amount of tables she had. Great ambiance and decor casual dining with a little extra flair. Overall excellent experience- I 100% see why the parking lot is always full. We will definitely be back when we come back to town!
google avatar

Yelp
This place was so yummy! They are known for farm to table foods and fresh ingredients and you can definitely tell! What I was really impressed with was they asked about allergies right before we ordered and had a manager come out and explain potential contamination points of dishes. Sooo helpful and considerate for someone with multiple allergies like myself. Their burger and steak were great! Would definitely recommend :)

Yelp
There are so many good reviews of the Local Goat for a reason...but let me start by saying it looked very intimidating driving into the extremely crowded parking lot that we almost didn't believe it would be worth the wait. But it was!! We put our name in for the 50 minute wait and drove over to the Christmas House to wait it out. We headed back with 5 minutes to spare. We were seated in a booth and had a great server, Derek. The restaurant itself is very large but the staff is well choreographed. It's not fancy inside but we were there for the food and honestly it was the star of the show. Everything we had from the drinks to dessert were delicious. If you can withstand the wait and get creative while doing it I highly suggest you give the Goat a try!!!

Yelp
We came here during a trip to the area and had a group lunch here. The food here was generally decent with good portion, hitting our expectations of a typical American chain restaurant. We ordered some shareable plates including shrimp and crab bisque, BBQ chicken nacho, spinach and artichoke dip, deviled egg and shrimp and grits (a southern dish made with corn and shrimp) to start with. All were delicious. The nacho was a bit spicy and the crab bisque was tasty. The shrimp and grits got this interesting sweet flavour. Lovely! For mains, we tried their shrimp pasta which was quite spicy but yummy with decent portion. We also tried the bison burger which was the only dish I didn't like. Overall, the food here was pretty good with attentive service.

Yelp
Updated review: We made reservations one week in advance again. Good thing because the place is always busy. The place has a cozy vibe! And the food was great again! I had the ribeye and it was delicious, perfectly cooked. There were seven of us and besides my ribeye, our group had two apps, pretzel bites with cheese (great), artichoke dip (okay). My husband had the spicy pasta with shrimp and andouille sausage. He said it was very spicy but he liked that. Our daughter had the pasta with chicken and bacon in Alfredo sauce. She omitted everything else it comes with. The portion was huge, she had enough leftovers for two more decent servings. I even had some, it was great! Mother in law had the Shrimp and Grits, which she enjoyed, she also had leftovers. The rest of the table had generously portioned burgers and fries, which they enjoyed a lot too! Our waitress provided us with great service and suggestions, sorry can't remember her name just that she was a brunette. Also informed hubby that his dish was spicy, which was nice. Constantly refilled our drinks without us asking, also replenished bread and pretzels. If in town, try to come it here, just made a reservation a week in advance if you're coming for dinner

Yelp
Local Goat is a restaurant I recommend anytime I hear someone is visiting the area. The food is all homemade (including their buns and custom burger blend!). Prices are fair, there's something for everyone on the menu, and the spot is casual. Tips: make a reservation on Google and order the deep fried devilled eggs!
google avatar

Heidi B.

Yelp
Great spot in Pigeon Forge, they said sauces, dressings and 99% of what they serve is made in house. Food was great. Portions were huge. I got the lunch portion cod and chips - it was massive. Decor is a little old fashioned. Service was great. Check it out.
google avatar

Shawn L.

Yelp
Came in while vacationing with family. Quick service and food was pretty good. They have a vegan burger option which is hard to find in the general gatlinburg area.
google avatar

Bob B.

Yelp
Got there at a good time as we got seated immediately. Service was super friendly. We didn't see much of the interior as our seat was the first booth from the hostess stand. Food was a disappointment if I'm honest. I've heard such great things about this place that we added it to our list of must eat there on our trip. Wings were pretty flavorless. Burgers were over cooked and not really seasoned. The fries, although plentiful, were way over cooked and very small pieces making them hard to eat. This was not by far the best burger that I was hoping for.
google avatar

Julie S.

Yelp
This place was super busy on a Friday at 4pm and with good reason. Sat at the bar and the staff were so friendly. Explained the restaurant being a scratch kitchen, making almost all the elements in the menu. I ordered a cider, the BGT burger with goat cheese and bacon jam and then the real winner -- peanut butter pie. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Jorge S.

Yelp
This places is AMAZING and honestly worth the 45 min wait that we had. We were particularly hungry on this day after a day out in the park fly fishing. We started with the steak nachos which were great (only complaint is I would have liked a little more nacho sauce. we then each had the hot honey chicken sandwhich (add pimento cheese) and boy was this sandwhich good - the combination of spice and sweet was perfect. Even though we were stuffed we finished the meal the bread pudding for good measure. Please make sure to come in if you are in the area.
google avatar

Amanda W.

Yelp
Service was amazing!!! He made great recommendations, checking in often, and got us our food and drinks quickly! The wait time was long, about an hour and fifteen minutes so definitely get a reservation or plan to hang out for a while. Ambiance seemed cool - the place was never ending so I can't accurately describe the ambiance on the whole, but it was very nice where we were seated.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food and service! This place does as much of their menu from locally sourced ingredients as possible, which resulted in some fresh and tasty eats. We arrived about 20 minutes before close, but they happily seated us with absolutely no issue. Our server greeted us quickly and explained the concept of the restaurant with a lot of care and focus. Sometimes you can feel the fact that servers have a script they're required to get through. However, our server was excited to connect and share information he cared about. Very cool! I opted for the flame-grilled salmon option, and chose the garlic mashed potatoes and the stone ground cheese grits. The salmon was perfectly cooked and super moist. I also loved the two sides, which were both popping with flavor. The portion was hearty, so I was able to take to-go containers back to the hotel. I also appreciated the fact that we showed up sweaty messes after spending the day at Dollywood and were accepted with open arms. It's rare to find a place with such lovely food that does it without pretension. Bonus points for the fact that the server brought me so many glasses of ice water. Overall, I loved this place and would definitely return next time I'm in the area.
google avatar

Laura A.

Yelp
It's always a good sign when the place is so packed you can't find a parking space and the wait time is over 30 minutes for lunch!! We waited and got lucky enough to secure two seats at the bar within 10 minutes. We had drinks and shared two appetizers. I had read great reviews about the deep fried deviled eggs so I had to try them. They were ok, a little dry. My favorite was the TN whiskey flavored jumbo wings. Delicious!! I wish I had been hungrier because other people at the bar were ordering burgers and they looked great!! I would have ordered either the Patriot burger or Billy burger.
google avatar

Adam W.

Yelp
The whole experience was awesome! They were extremely busy but the estimated 30 minute wait was more like 10. The service was top notch. But the food was definitely the crowd pleaser. My 16 year old daughter was rating it a 10 outa 10 two bites into her chicken sandwich. She finished the whole plate and that's rare. The bison burger was legit one of the best burgers I've ever had. The big screen tvs had the football games on. Created a great ambiance for the whole family.
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
Great burgers, good service, great ambiance. This is a good place to hang out with friends and family. Good place good pricing, give it a try

Yelp
This is the best place in the whole area. Top of the list on where to go eat at any time. Pretty large place on the inside and it was fast getting in with a reservation that you need to make. Everyone was super nice and friendly. Staff to the waiters. The waiter knew the menu well and gave us good recommendations on what to eat. I got the ribs and my wife got the meatloaf. Both were delicious and well cooked. I'm a foodie and have tried 3 different types of ribs this week. For the win is the local goat for sure. Local resourced as mush as they can to bring good food to the table and it shows too. Top notch quality restaurant. 10/10. We are going back in a few days again to take some more photos. I ate my food so fast I didn't take pictures.
google avatar

Clifford H.

Yelp
Couldn't taste any blue in my black and blue burger, otherwise good. The fried green tomatoes were defeated by too much other ingredients on them.My wife's salad would have been better without the chicken. My son loved his lamb burger.Great service and atmosphere.First time we ate here it was off the charts. This time 3 stars.Would definitely eat here again .Would just order something different.Tune in next time to The Working Man Review.

Yelp
I came into town on holiday and driven by this place and saw that it was a full parking lot on a Friday night. I saw the peculiar name and took note of it, as you have the likes of Paula Dean's and Downtown Flavortown, yet it appears that people like this place. I convinced my wife to try it out with me. I saw that this place was voted #57 out of the top 100 burger places according to Yelp, so I had to try it. We went close to closing the very next day, but you wouldn't have noticed. I have to say, the service was great, the hosts were professional, our waiter Matt P, was phenomenal, and the food came out fast. I have to say that I was impressed by Matt's ability to answer any questions I threw his way. I was also impressed with the small things like filling my glass when it is getting low, coming by to check to see how things are going without interrupting my wife and I's conversation, just overall great job. To the point, the food was good. We ordered honey BBQ wings as an appetizer, they were average, my wife had the fettuccine Alfredo dish something Rocco, forgive me! The food was seasoned well and the scratch made focaccia brought a beautiful touch. I had a bacon cheeseburger, I knew we had a keeper when my wife tried my burger and was left speechless. She is not a burger fanatic, but she knows when something is seasoned well and is made from scratch. I was amazed at how good the food was. The waiter advised us that everything is made from scratch, the bread, the sauces, the pasta, even down to the ketchup... the ketchup people! The restaurant has dinning area and a sports bar, either way, if the Tennessee Vols are playing, the big screen is going to show it. Pleasant atmosphere, phenomenal food, and top notch service. 5 stars my friends, and I will be back the next time I'm in town.
google avatar

Allyson M.

Yelp
This place was recommended to us by a resident and boy did we appreciate it!! The food is a locally grown and prepared. Even the ketchup is made by them. The portions were so big most of us could not finish and needed to go containers. Each of our meals were unique and delicious. The service was so nice and everyone spoke and made you feel welcome. The ambiance was nice, very large booths and tables. I wis we had more time here, I would definitely go back. Love the prices, to feed 5 adults was $123. We did use our %10 Yelp coupon that was offered when we checked in. Thank you Yelp!!

Rhonda C.

Yelp
Sorry, but honestly, not a fan. Hubby Ordered chicken fingers with French fries and cold slaw and I ordered fish and chips with French fries and broccoli. The food arrived promptly and my fish was hot very flaky and pretty good overall but my french fries were cold and my broccoli had no flavor whatsoever. My husband's chicken fingers had a fish taste them like they were fried and the same oil and that's not good if you don't like fish, which he doesn't.
google avatar

Phil P.

Yelp
Seated quickly. Prompt service. Mary was very friendly and helpful with menu including special menu for gluten free options. Lots of tables and booths. Several large TVs with sports coverage. Ahi tuna app was only OK. Decent amount of food for price but salsa wasn't well seasoned and tuna was meh compared to similar dishes at other places. Entree was fall harvest salad and it was outstanding. I subbed strawberry vinaigrette but my wife loved the honey lime that came with it.
google avatar

Honest R.

Yelp
Revisited last night. Love the burgers and fries! The fried green tomatoes presented well and were good.
google avatar

Ted F.

Yelp
That was incredible. The food was outstanding; the appetizer, deep-fried deviled eggs, was an unusual but tasty treat, and the meatloaf was some of the best I've ever had. Our server was incredible, and the location was inviting. The only negative of the night was that the parking lot was overfilled, and some people had no patience for others. Overall it was casual inside and cozy.
google avatar

Nick M.

Yelp
The Elvis burger with peanut butter and banana was a huge hit at our table. I had a great Mediterranean salad with red pepper vinegarette. The onion rings were some of the best ever, and our parents loved the coconut shrimp. The atmosphere is friendly and laid back, and our server "Squirrel" was very good. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Jaime S.

Yelp
We never had tried this place before because the parking lot is always packed! We went on a Saturday around 4:30 pm and only had to wait for about 15 minutes for a table! We were seated at a nice big table! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with the menu! For our appetizer we got the Fried Green tomatoes! They were good. I personally thought the cornmeal could have used more seasoning but the goat cheese crumbles and balsamic vinegar like drizzle was pretty good too! One of them was a hard end of the tomato though. For entrees I got the smoked house burger with house cut fries! I loved the bbq sauce on the burger and with the Gouda cheese it was amazing! The fries are SO good! I literally couldn't stop eating them! Also they have the best homemade ketchup ever! Every single thing is made in house except for a few condiments! My boyfriend had a steak with Carmalized onion mashed potatoes and Cheese Grits! I tried a little bit of his entire entree and it was delicious as well! The restaurant is huge, not really loud and they have nice clean bathrooms! I'll definitely be back!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Had lunch here before heading back home. Pretty good decent food in the Pigeon Forge area. Our server was helpful and friendly. Kept our drinks filled. Portions are good size for the price. I enjoyed my house salad and fettucine Rocco.

Yelp
Make a reservation, if you can! This is a casual, family-friendly restaurant, but it gets extremely busy. We tried and failed to eat here twice. Both times, the wait was over 40 minutes and my children couldn't wait. The third time, we lucked out and got a table when we visited around 4 p.m. Make a reservation, or visit during a less busy time. Speaking of family-friendly: I saw so many tables with babies and kids! As such, the noise level here is a little on the loud side. But I love that in a place as family-friendly as Pigeon Forge, there's an equally family-friendly place to eat. Local Goat gets its name because they source almost all of their food locally, and/or make everything from scratch. Even the ketchup is made from scratch -- and it's delicious. They also have a large menu of gluten-free and allergy-friendly items. They also have a large menu of burgers. There's even a burger with peanut butter in it! I got the Schrute Burger, which is a plant-based burger. It was good and not something I usually order, but I was feeling wild. The only thing I don't like, as a person with a small mouth: They make their burgers so tall! All of the lettuce and tomato and whatnot is stacked so high on the burger that I had to eat it in sections. Fortunately, the kids' burgers are normal-sized and easy for kids to eat. Both of my kids got cheeseburgers with fries, because they wanted to taste the house-made ketchup. They loved it and everything else they ate. The service was excellent and fast. I guess they have to be fast here, because Local Goat is super popular and sees lots of people.

Yelp
Food: chicken artichoke soup is delicious. Grilled cheese is pretty good too. Service: Kimberly was fantastic as a server Ambiance: warm and cozy Prices: high prices. We ordered a kids meal and was not told there would be a two dollar surcharge. And then they do not even take a veterans discount off of that. Only the soup and the soda.

Yelp
We choose this restaurant as the finale dinner for our vacation. After reading the reviews, we had high expectations. The atmosphere was relaxed and vibrant. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable! However, the food was just ok. We tried the fried deviled eggs and were disappointed. We found them bland and odd in texture. My family said the onions rings were good. But I couldn't try them because they were cooked in grease with seafood and I have an allergy. We had a variety of entrees including the cheeseburger, ribeyes, and the chicken sandwich. My family raved about the cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. Two of the steaks were okay. However, my ribeye was delivered medium rare. I ordered medium. When I sent it back it was returned well done. The sweet potatoes were very good though. While the drinks were tasty, I would likely try another restaurant next time I am in the area!

Yelp
Wow! What a great lunch time find! We were treated warmly upon entering the restaurant and seated immediately even though there were multiple parties entering the same time as our party did. Once seated, our server was more than happy to discuss the menu options and tell us about how over 90% of their food is made in house, down to their ketchup. My husband and I split a cheeseburger and it just melted in your mouth. The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our daughter said the ribs just fell off the bones and that they were the best restaurant ribs she has ever had. Upon checking in on yelp I noticed a 10% coupon that we were able to use so it made lunch even a little better.

Yelp
I found this spot off Yelp and was intrigued by the awesome menu. We wanted something local but not chain and this was perfect! The wait was 45 minutes but they moved people fast. We ended up at the bar and our bartender, Katie, was amazing! I got a bottle of wine and my husband had a beer. Both were marked down for happy hour which was nice. We also each got a burger. I had the BGT which had goat cheese, crispy onion strings, bacon jam, lettuce, and tomato. It was so flavorful and the cook was spot on. It was huge and I ate the whole thing! Overall, great experience and great food. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
I don't know why, but when we decided to try the Local Goat, I thought we were going to a classier, more upscale restaurant. Rather, the Local Goat is basically a loud, raucous environment with large groups that is a sensory overload with the TVs on the wall drowned out by the loud iPads and tablets entertaining toddlers at tables while their parents drink alcohol. Once I readjusted my expectations, I decided to try a burger as that was the only item our pleasant server recommended. The Billy Burger had a skimpy amount of mushrooms, onions and garlic aioli, and it probably would have been better with the red onion, tomato, and lettuce on the side. Our server suggested the onion rings, which were good. However, I was pretty disappointed with that choice considering there were 3 per serving compared to the mountain of French fries provided. And, there was an up charge for the onion rings that was not disclosed. The ample amount of ranch dressing and homemade ketchup were very good. Given the dining options in Pigeon Forge, Local Goat is probably a pretty good choice. Just temper your expectations as this is not a fine dining destination.

Yelp
Ate here to experience what the food would be like since it's always packed, but honestly, I wasn't too impressed. It's a restaurant if you're traveling with a big family or group, as the menu accommodates every age category. As for my opinion, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but more like if everything was closed or not available, I would come here. It's a meh/10 for me. Local Goat - Pigeon Forge, TN

Yelp
All expectations on the restaurant is high due to the local advertising and yelp reviews. Everyday you will have good number of customers with long line. It is really doesn't matter about the good or bad reviews. We start with the devil egg appetizer. It is really nothing special. I feel that that bacon is small, the taste of egg is same as regular Devil egg yolk. I wish they could have done something about the egg yolk. The main dish we have are the lamb burger and bison meatloaf. The bison meatloaf is a bit less tasty. The lamb burger is a popular dish and is a better dish. Overall service is slow. Space on the booth is very tight. This is not for the upscale place.
