"Local Loaf is really that, local. No frills, limited decor, but in the coziest bungalow on a residential corner of NoDa. Local Loaf hosts farmers’ markets, wine dinners, and a pretty creative breakfast menu, expanding into the world of butternut squash tartines, pan con tomate, and an apple-coconut or dashi-mushroom grain bowl. The potatoes are crisped up and decked out in chili, scallions, and queso, like a whole meal themselves. Weekday breakfast is an option here too, just with a slightly smaller menu. (Note: Local Loaf will reopen for service on January 31)." - Kayleigh Ruller, Nikki Miller-Ka

Fun neighborhood local spot. Eclectic and delicious menu by chef Adam. Good wines to choose from. Had them cater a graduation party, all the guests really loved the food.

We visited Local Loaf for the first time this weekend and had a good experience for the most part. 2 of our 3 entrees were delicious, as were our fries and cheese sticks. My chicken and the egg was terrific, we ate every bite, the BLT was also very good. The French dip was dry, the bread was hard, and we found the homemade cookies in the case to be overly salty. It was also odd that the food for a table comes out one at a time, leaving some members waiting quite some time for everyone to be served so we could eat at the same time. This spot is expensive - $100 for three for brunch with a carafe of mimosas, which was about 1.5 mimosas each. Although we enjoyed it for the most part, I probably would not go back again.

The best breakfast/brunch!!! Everything is delicious, piping hot when it comes out, and the chocolate chip pancakes are insanely good. I’ve never had pancakes quite like this - they’re so so good. You have to wait a bit for your food when they’re busy, but it’s more than worth the wait. The service is 10/10, they have great drip coffee, and I order my eggs soft scrambled & my bacon a bit under and they’re perfect every time. It’s really hard to find scrambled eggs that are just as good as home cooked. The rest of the menu is also amazing. Our favorite breakfast/brunch spot hands down. :)

It’s absolutely rare that I would order black beans 🫘 for breakfast… but the oler wide guy taking our order said it was his favorite dish and I took a chance … glad I did !!! It was amazingly delicious 🤤 My sister had madame croque and she loved it !! Best thing ever… mimosa garaffe for $25 💪🏻 Overall … top place in the great NODA neighborhood !! Don’t miss it!!

Google
Quaint, neighborhood brunch spot! You order at the counter and they being the food to your table -if you could snag one. We got lucky and visited on a rainy Sunday, so we were able to get a table (although my husband’s chair was about to completely fall apart), but I can see why that could be a challenge. The interior is nothing to write home about, but it’s quiet and cozy. The food was delicious though - we ordered an omelet and chicken and waffles. We’d give this place another visit for sure!

Google
Great food, lots of unique choices but the chairs are in desperate need of upgrades. They are loose and falling apart. Some woman fell out of the chair while we were there.

Google
Cute brunch spot tucked away in the NoDa neighborhood. I ordered the Chicken and the egg and it was delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the presentation was great. The service was alright, I'm not the biggest fan of calling out names when the food is ready, I'd suggest using number cards. It seemed like the place was fairly new and was still in the process of being designed but the interior is lackluster with black painted walls, little decor, and a single use restroom. The place could definitely use some interior designing to match the high quality of their food.

Google
Visited for brunch after looking for a "new" place to visit. The restaurant was nice and was snuggled in a very "quiet" community. Parking was a challenge, and so was seating. I tried to make reservations, but the restaurant did not allow this feature. However, with limited parking and seating, this would be a good option to help with traffic in and around the restaurant . The wait for a table was not so bad, but the wait to receive our order was extremely long. ( People that came after our party were being served, but it was random dishes at these tables. Not everyone at the table was served.) *Please note that I pay close attention to service and where we are in reference to the order that we come into a restaurant. Once our food arrived, I was disappointed with my Shrimp and Grits. The dish was very salty. The eggs with the pancake breakfast were also very salty. The pancakes and bacon were okay, but the pancakes were cooked very well and mostly hard rather than fluffy. The Spanish Omelet tasted very good. The Omelet was fluffy, not too much salt, and loaded with peppers, onions, and tomatoes. The most disappointing thing about our experience was the poor service. No one came to refill our coffee (unless we asked) or ever came to check on us after we "finally" received our food. I would like to think that this experience was due to them being short staffed, but due to the entire dining experience, I will not return.

Yelp
This place was amazing. Come for lunch!!! The service was so good and the people that work there *chefs kiss*. The salads are sooo good we just loved it here.

Yelp
This place made me cuss after my first bite. This place is absolutely fantastic. I got the kickin' chicken and boy that's the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. It was stacked high and every bite was full of chicken and flavorful. Anyway, I found this place because I randomly googled "Best Chicken Sandwich in Charlotte". That definitely lived up to the name...I mean look at that chicken sandwich. That could be on a magazine. Also, we got mozzarella sticks. Definitely worth the $10. Flavorful and crunchy with a cheese pull that was in yards. Here's some pro tips: there's no waiters. You order up front where you walk in and they call your name out for someone to bring it to your table. Also, the cookies up front are massive and delicious. Definitely pick up a few on the way out. Everything about this place is a home run. The vibe to the food. Make yourself happy and come here.

Ryan S.

Yelp
Adam's food is always incredible. Today we had the tuna tartine, the roti canai, and orange chicken (the best version of this dish I've ever had). Last week we did the cheese sticks (how's he get the outside crispy with gooey inside?), chips and dip, and empanadas. The suggested wines (Portuguese white tonight) pair incredibly well each time we visit. Local Loaf is in my honest opinion the best food in NoDa at the moment.

Andrea K.

Yelp
So delicious! Shrimp and grits were fabulous. Pancakes were unexpectedly unique. Good, but sweet - they would have been great as a share for the table. Breakfast burrito was top-notch with a southern take on the usual.

Kelly C.

Yelp
I've had this place on my list of places to try for a good while now, but the hours/location just never worked out. Well it finally worked out for a Sunday brunch and it was a cute place to grab brunch before an event in NoDa. The day we went was rainy which kinda sucked because I think part of their big draw is the large outdoor patio. You order at the counter, then if they have an open table you can grab one. Your name is called from the area by the kitchen and make sure you're listening because you might miss your name! My only complaint about this was that everyone's dishes came out at completely different times. I got the pancakes, eggs and bacon. Bacon was crispy, the eggs buttery, and the pancakes were like muffins they were so thick. I would definitely visit again and hope to sit outside.

Kristen O.

Yelp
Cute, neighborhood brunch spot. Go for the breakfast sandy and steak& eggs. Dog friendly.

Mike S.

Yelp
The thing that stands out to me the most about this charming neighborhood restaurant is the location. It is tucked away on 35th street right amongst the beautiful houses of NoDa. If you don't look twice you might think it is another home! I have long passed this place while going on walks around the neighborhood and have been waiting for the right time to try it as unfortunately they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Finally decided to stop by while working remote. Their breakfast looks fantastic but it was lunch time so I went with the chicken sandwich. Very large portions of juicy tenders between a bun and covered in a spicy sauce. Delicious! I plan on stopping by for breakfast one of these weekends so I can get the full experience.

Kesira R.

Yelp
My bagel sandwich was ROCK hard. I almost broke my jaw trying to chew this thing. My boyfriend didn't believe me and took a bite out of it too which is why there are two bites. Idk if we got a bad bagel or what but it was terribly hard. We got the apple oats which redeemed this place

Marissa F.

Yelp
Phone clearly did not eat first lol it looked so good I clearly couldn't wait! If you haven't been to Local Loaf, GO! The chicken and waffles comes in as top 3 in Charlotte. I was worried about the glaze they drizzle on top but it wasn't too overwhelming and complimented the chicken well. The waffle wasn't your classic Belgian type waffle but more dense. Had sweetness to it but a savory component too which was nice. The breakfast burrito is a safe choice, I think it was a good take. That alone wouldn't have me coming back for more but it's not an option you could go wrong with. Will definitely need to come back and so will you!

Meena P.

Yelp
This is your casual neighborhood cafe but with a very cool menu and they serve alcohol ! Beer and wine and on a Sunday all we needed was mimosas! They have a fantastic brunch menu I'd seen on instagram so I had this place in mind when meeting a friend for brunch. Warned when we walked in their kitchen was backed up by the lovely gentleman at the register, we decided to get our mimosas and let the kitchen catch up as we weren't in a hurry . Delicious mimosas! This place stays hopping on a Sunday and they do the best they can service wise. They have some benches outside but quite a bit of seating inside too. They seemed to have a big carry out business. When we got ready to order I got a garden spritz , Prosecco with orange peel bitters. Which was a nice light take on a mimosa. Loved that alternative. They have some great wines and they serve breakfast , lunch and dinner during the week and Saturdays . With a huge menu to choose from. I got the shakshuka , delicious eggs covered in a rich tomato sauce with micro greens and feta, with whole-wheat toast. This was one of the best sauces I've had on a shakshuka not too saucy , but a nice rice thick sauce . Great flavor . The eggs were cooked perfectly too, something about the toast too was nice and crunchy. This is my recommendation! For sure. My friend got the bacon, egg and cheese on a English muffin. He said this was better than McDonald's!! Yes it was a huge improvement! Lots of egg and bacon! I had to get one of their humongous cookies too , these all look spectacular and are only $2!!! I got the oatmeal raisin and yes this is the ticket! Nice soft and chewy and a hint of cinnamon m, this was the perfect end to our brunch. I kid you not when I say they are humongous. You can also buy the cookie dough in tubs of 6 for take home treats. Their muffins looked killer too but I could t eat another bite. So next time I'm on the muffin trail. It was definitely worth the wait. Plus another place to add to my Charlotte brunch rotation . The servers were great too. Loved the Neighborhood vibe and how it looked like all the locals were in to get their brunch on! Local loaf is a fabulous cool place.

Lauren G.

Yelp
Such unique brunch options and all are elevated to another level. The chicken and the egg is spectacular (easily a portion for 2 people). Boxty browns are a fun take on a hash brown. The Spanish migas were delicious however not something I feel the need to order again but such a cool brunch option we had to try it! Would love to give this place a 5 star rating but their lack of coffee options and slower service is keeping it a 4/5 but we will 100% be back and I will be recommending it to other

Danielle L.

Yelp
Cute little neighborhood spot. Decor and vibe are very basic, but also charming. My group sat outside for breakfast and really enjoyed our meals. I got the shakshouka which had properly runny eggs and good flavor. Friends got biscuit sandwiches and the fried chicken. Both were great and we especially loved the biscuits!

Jon M.

Yelp
Wanted to hit up a decent breakfast/lunch focused place before we left charlotte after our coffee at "The Hobbyist" (also stellar). Very unassuming place on the outside, local musicians were playing. Once inside, you order your food upfront, their menu is what I would consider very unique and visually appealing. After that, you sit down until they bring the food to you. Bonus points for not having to worry about dealing with a waiter or waitress and the subsequent tips required. Food was delicious, I decided to go for something a bit more unique to this place, the Spanish Migas. It was all extremely fresh, very dynamic and flavorful. Presentation was superb, and the service was great, especially considering there was no assigned, waiter or waitress. I will say there was a bit of dust floating around in my glass of water, as well as my wife's, but everything else was so superb that, I don't feel it's fair to deduct a star for that. Parking is fairly easy on the street, and free as well.

Danny M.

Yelp
I met up with an childhood friend here on recommendation. There was baked goods on display tempting me while I was waiting in line, but I managed my sweet tooth exceptionally today. I ordered the Shakshuka and an avocado tartine. Then chose a table to sit at until they called out my name. The avocado tartine took about 20 minutes to come out, but the shakshuka took 40 minutes.. way too long! The tartine isn't worth talking about, although the ingredients were fresh. The Shakshuka was good, but the amount given for $14 was pretty small; also one small piece of bread is definitely not enough to lap up the Shakshuka. The food was decent and of good quality, but that wait time is just not worth it.

Carrie H.

Yelp
Half day visit to Noda and loved that we found this on our walk by! Go for the breads and sandwiches- Reuben and Cuban were amazing!! -...but don't forget the kids (and be sure to take a taste) the kids tenders were amazing. it was real food, real chicken freshly made!! Best tender I've had in forever, purchased for my 14 mo old that eats like a 5yo. Tables were all dirty, but I come with wipes. Floors were really gross, my child help contribute and the wipe was sollllid black when I picked up his dropped food. Bathroom was decent.

Alexa C.

Yelp
Wow. Woke up and was craving some breakfast. I tend to just google places near me to eat and explore the community. I came across local loaf, and I am so excited to try more of this menu. Hidden in a little neighborhood is some of the best food and queer friendly spaces I've been in Charlotte. They offer an eclectic menu with your staple traditional favorites. Even if the food had been subpar (it was not) the service makes up for it. I absolutely fell in love with the fabulous gentleman taking our order and every server was so accommodating. I had the pancake breakfast and my partner had the shakshuka. You order at the front and take a seat, the place has such a welcoming vibe, they offer - fresh baked bagels, muffins and cookies. YUM! You HAVE to try this place.

Nicole L.

Yelp
Loved my experience here The staff was awesome. The food was delicious. They have lots of options, small or big, depending on how much you plan on eating the restaurant/café itself was clean a very social atmosphere, just make sure when you get there look for a table because it's first come first serve.

Hannah D.

Yelp
I've lived in Charlotte for two years and Local Loaf is one of my favorite neighborhood spots in NoDa. Whether you're there for breakfast, lunch or appetizers, the food is always delicious. If going out to eat isn't your vibe, they also offer various drink specials, and host a farmers market on Thursday evenings during the warmer months where you can purchase local eggs, meat, honey, produce and other goods. The Loaf also offers an assortment of homemade breads, muffins and baked goods. Additionally, the service is always so friendly and welcoming, and the entire vibe of the restaurant is so positive and kind. If you're in Charlotte and looking for a welcoming neighborhood spot with good service, good food and good drinks, I highly recommend Local Loaf.

Lorelei H.

Yelp
This is the cutest place to stop by and enjoy a nice brunch. The staff here is so amazing and on top of it. The restaurant itself is quaint and homely, giving an inviting feel to families, dates or a personal meal. All the food my friends and I got was amazing, weather you want savory or sweet. I highly recommend this bowl as its hearty, filling and fresh.

Blake A.

Yelp
CALL FIRST!!! This place is the worst!!!!!! This is the 3rd time in a row I've driven 30 minutes to eat here and they are ALWAYS closed for some bullsh@t reason. Never again! Matter a fact, just stay away till they learn how to update would be customers

Lilly P.

Yelp
The food was amazing! I got a BYO Omelette and it didn't disappoint! I found it weird that the inside was very disorganized. No one was wiping down the tables so I saw a bunch of people going up to ask the girl to wipe them off. There's also just random boxes and cleaning supplies showcased on the shelves. It should be closed off someway so it's not an eye sore! There's also very limited seating even though there's plenty of room to add more chairs and tables.

Sbonds B.

Yelp
Run- don't walk to Local Loaf for breakfast! First time here today and we will def be back. It was a perfect mother/daughter breakfast treat. Such a cute, non assuming exterior in a great location. We arrived right at 9:00 and ordered the baked apple grain bowl and the Chicken & The Egg. Both were absolutely delicious and plated so nicely. Perfectly photogenic. The steel cut oats were paired with just the right amount of fruit and sweetness. The chicken....don't get me started. DIVINE! That spicy sauce and perfectly poached egg on a tasty biscuit We will def make the drive back here (from Gastonia). The friendly gentleman that took our order and served us was so kind.

adam h.

Yelp
Great spot! Loved breakfast! Can't wait to come visit my son again and try lunch menu!!

Mathew M.

Yelp
Enjoyed the casual indoor/outdoor local cafe. Good breakfast ( a bit salty), reasonable price, friendly people. Lots of young couples with dogs, outdoor picnic tables. Give it a try, especially if you live in the neighborhood.

Carly G.

Yelp
The good reviews are clearly paid for and the bad ones lack details. Absolutely disgusting; if you're a lover of seasonless food and a pretty plate this is your spot. Shrimp and grits- disgusting. French toast- as expected; if you mess this up you shouldn't be in the kitchen. Grits- disgusting. Bacon-overcooked. How? Local loaf made it possible. Mimosas- 7/10 - wasn't bad; but that's it. I'm genuinely concerned about everyone's taste buds that actually enjoy this. It's probably a medical condition.

A L.

Yelp
Really liked local loaf! Some good breakfast options and in a quiet area of Noda. Service was good. My only recommendation is clean off or upgrade the outdoor seating.

Courtney S.

Yelp
I really like the local loaf, but was not happy with my ordering decision this time. They have pretty unique food selections, and are very high quality. I got the Kickin' Chicken Sandwich and it's almost impossible to eat as a sandwich, because it is made from chicken tenders. The piled 4 crispy and meaty chicken tenders on one brioche bun, so I wouldn't up eating two separately and attempting to eat the other two on the sandwich. Super messy, but good flavor. They have their own house hot sauce, which has a nice kick to it. They also have a garlic mayo on it, which sounds great in theory but the hot sauce was so overpowering you couldn't really taste the pickles or garlic mayo. I wouldn't order this Sammy again unless it's a full chicken breast vs tenders, but I'll definitely be back to keep exploring the menu! Will report back on the next item I try. I love that they use reusable containers so I can take it home and use it again or recycle it.

Tyler B.

Yelp
Got their chicken and egg twice now and it's been excellent! And we'll priced! Their cookies are worth trying as well

Renek M.

Yelp
My food was tasteless. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it came with so much water and greens I could barely see if I had any grits in my bowl. I poured the grit water in a bowl. I tried to eat it bc I paid $40 for this nasty meal. The kickin chicken needs to be kicked off the menu. It had way too much hot sauce and the chicken had no flavor by itself. The bread and pickles where nasty. Needless to say, I don't recommend and I've been wanting to try this place for months, only to be disappointed. Have a nice day.

Marti K.

Yelp
Local Loaf food and service is wonderful. I always enjoy Thursday evenings at the farmers market and wine and dinner with friends.

Melissa W.

Yelp
Ordering my lunch online was quick and easy. It was ready in a timely fashion. I had a side of fruit and a simple BLT which was amazing on the croissant roll. Definitely a more "well to do" type customer base from my perspective. The place was adorable, comfortable and hipster decor.

Peter K.

Yelp
Great food and good staff. It is a small place and if you want to sit inside, it is first come, first serve.

Saint M.

Yelp
What i got was a $12 slider (it was half a sandwich, and a mess). I also had a single pancake on the side for $9, and some cheap, chemical aftertaste syrup (not maple). A perfect meal to sum up my entire 5 weeks in Charlotte. Bye.

Maribel B.

Yelp
The food was fresh, tasted great, chef was very friendly. The place was nice and cozy. Mimosa were refreshing

William N.

Yelp
I was quite surprised by the service, food, and ambiance at this restaurant. First, it's located in an urban neighborhood with limited on the street parking. Secondly, we were not greeted when we arrived and had to figure out how to order (up at the front desk) and we seated ourselves. Thirdly, the menu consisted of overpriced, unique food selections such as fries that didn't look like traditional fries. The BLT was disappointing to say the least. The ambiance was interesting to say the least as soliciting occurred on site.

Tasha C.

Yelp
Honestly, this is one of my favorite places. So incredibly tasty. We ordered the Chicken & Waffles along with Spanish Migas. It was an overwhelming sense of joy as I chewed every bite with joy. Both plates blew us away!

Kevin W.

Yelp
Excellent food! Would highly recommend. We had the breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito. They do an excellent job of serving great food with a lot of flavor. The coffee is great too!

Kristen K.

Yelp
Wandered in here today while driving through Noda and it did not disappoint! It's the cutest neighborhood cafe. It was casual enough that we could grab a bite in our gym clothes, but the food was impressive and had a bit of an artisanal/upscale twist. We will definitely be back.

Jess N.

Yelp
Words cannot describe how much I love Local Loaf. This small and cozy restaurant really stole my heart with it's jammed packed flavors and stellar customer service. I had no expectations coming into this spot, but I was blown away by what i ended up ordering there. I've been back several times in the past couple of months and tried the Chicken and the Egg, Cuban, and Italian. GET THE CHICKEN AND THE EGG. The chicken is so juicy and crispy and seasoned so well!! The biscuit it comes on is soft and buttery. But the star of the show is the cheer wine sauce drizzled on top! Local Loaf kills it with their sauces!! New favorite brunch spot!

Alicia R.

Yelp
Cute atmosphere. The side of fries were interesting but good. The classic eggs Benedict was a little salty. Does get busy

Alex W.

Yelp
Restaurant: Local Loaf Location: Noda in Charlotte, NC Food: Chicken and Waffles Chicken tenders over blueberry waffles with hot sauce and syrup. I enjoy this meal and definitely one of the best chicken and waffles I have had! When you are in Noda, check out this restaurant.

Juliana D.

Yelp
Behind all of the artsy restaurants and bars is this hidden restaurant and bakery. Its a few blocks from the 36th street station lightrail stop. I came here on a nice Saturday afternoon to grab some brunch with my friends. They have a seating area where you can enjoy great foods after ordering at the register. They also have a great selection of specialty foods, local craft beers and wines and fresh baked bread. I originally wanted to order the chicken and waffles but they were out of waffles so I decided to go with the French toast, which comes with two eggs and bacon. The French toast was thick and fluffy and had a nice cinnamon flavor. The eggs and bacon were very good as well. I also got a mimosa which was pretty strong but really good! Although everything was good, I am giving the restaurant 4 stars because it wasn't AMAZING. I believe that there are much better brunch places in Charlotte but I would recommend this one if you are looking for a low key brunch, without long wait times and a high price range.

J B.

Yelp
I spend most mornings in a coffee shop/breakfast spot, both here and abroad, as I have an internet biz. Really love this place. Stopped one day but they were closed. Kristin, the manager(/) opened door, spoke with me and gave me a menu. Very sweet. so glad I came back. The vibe, freindliness, aesthetic, all on point. One of the best breakfasts I have had. The pancakes and thick bacon cooked perfectly as were my over medium eggs. Very comfortable and chill. love it!

Derek M.

Yelp
My experience from last week. Placed an order to go and was informed that there would be a 30 min. wait. No worries--they seemed to be just getting busy and we could return easily since we were staying nearby. We shared the Chicken & the Egg and the Patatas Bravas--so good. That cheddar and chipotle cheerwine sauce! Will try the cold brew next time, but might have to get coffee before the walk over in case there's a wait;-)

Brittany R.

Yelp
Ordered the steel cut oats and I have no words... I ordered to have a healthy option for breakfast and they were so incredibly oily and soup-like? I took a picture of it straight out the packaging. I took one bite and threw it away

Maddie M.

Yelp
Hey! Really wanted to support this place but wow We just had a truly awful experience. Food was great, service was awful!!!!! Guy at the register was nice and said they were making coffee they would bring it out asap. 15 minutes later I kindly asked a food runner if the coffee was ready, she replied we just started some. Okay cool, 20 minutes later I asked another food runner if the coffee was ready and she also replied "we just started some" I said, "it's been 35 minutes is something wrong with the coffee?" Cause we are done eating and are about to leave and she said "well we can refund you you" great awesome! Then as soon as I sat down the coffee came and a sweaty guy comes stomping out of the kitchen and slaps my money on the table and walks away like a jerk. We left the money and the coffee. Won't be back.

Benjamin L.

Yelp
I've been a customer of this joint since they were at 7th st market. The chicken and the egg was always the go to pick, among a few others. The last few times I visited their 35th st location, I've been hugely disappointed. Everything, from the sausage, egg and cheese muffin to the eggs benedict to the burger and fries, was too salty. I was really hoping this was an isolated event, but this happens regularly unfortunately. I hope the chef sees this message and understands that there's a difference between food that is well seasoned and food that is just too salty. Makes me question if the chef has ever tasted his own food before serving to customers. For perspective, this opinion is coming from someone who likes to generously season his food... Aside from the liberal use of salt, this hard-working, locally run business provides a great place for customers to hang out or to grab fresh breads / pastries, local beers and solid wines. I hope the food won't be as salty going forward because I would hate to count this place out as a food option!

Nate H.

Yelp
Local Loaf has become my favorite go-to spot in NoDa. I just recently moved to the neighborhood and checked out Local Loaf based upon a recommendation from a friend. The first thing that stands out to me about Local Loaf is that they are handling the Covid situation like champs. They have online ordering, text you when your order is ready, and make it so that you don't even have to go into the store when you pick up. They are even offering grocery staples so that you don't have to deal with the Zoo that is Publix or Harris Teeter. The food here has all been top notch so far. I've had the "Chicken & the Egg" the "Fried Bologna" Sandwich and the "BLT." I have not had anything that did not blow me away yet, and I plan on continuing to work my way through the menu. The bacon is always crispy and flavorful (they use Neese's). The Fried Bologna had a very thick slice of bologna, an over easy egg, and bacon jam. The Chicken & The Egg is what they're known for. It is an awesome concoction. It is honestly pretty tough to even classify it as a sandwich, because it basically takes a fork and knife to take down. We have also been getting our deli meat, bread, and cheese here. The prices are on par with the local grocery stores and they offer a wide array of meats and cheeses (mostly Boar's Head). Everything that we've ordered has been quality, and I would much rather support a locally owned spot. All of their prices are very reasonable. Order some take out or get some of your grocery staples and support local. I plan on continuing to frequent this NoDa gem!

Michele M.

Yelp
There was one person in line ahead of me. All I wanted was a side of chips. I love home made chips. I waited and waited. There were plenty of people working here but they put the slowest employee on the register. Well to be fair, the customer ahead of me was in no hurry either. Question after question while the employee slowly answered and kind of rolled her eyes at them. And when they finally decided, she slowly got what they wanted. Finally... someone else came to the counter and asked to help me. Yes! Because the other lady was still there. I ordered the chips to go in a bag. Of course, I didn't get a bag, but I wanted out of there. Were the chips worth the wait? Nope.. super salty and some were on the burnt side. My patience didn't pay off.

Yelp
Such a cute neighborhood find. Enjoyed their burger and Italian panini ! Would definitely come back for their wine pairing night.
