Local Oak is one of the best breweries we have ever been to!! Selection and flavors of beers are continuously changing but are consistently the most flavorful beers no matter what style you prefer. Excellent friendly atmosphere! Great outdoor area under a giant oak tree. Great food trucks on the weekends!

There are so many great things to say about this wonderful brewery in Winterville, NC. Great atmosphere, comfortable and cool bar inside, spacious outdoor space, fun events including music, run club, AND Slushie Night. Most of all, the owners and staff are great people, and the brewed beers are always changing and delicious!

Great local spot with delicious beer and an awesome laid back vibe. The outdoor area is really nice and this spot is really popular on the weekends. They have food trucks in the evenings and are dog friendly!

Once again, we had a lovely afternoon at Local Oak. There is always an interesting assortment of beer: something for everyone! The owners and staff are top-notch. An added bonus is the opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones - highly recommend checking this place out! We love it.

We didn't eat or drink there. Friends of Pitt County Animal Shelter was holding an event there and we adopted two puppies.

This is one of the best breweries in NC. If you are in the area you have to visit. The ambiance is great and the beer is phenomenal. We lived in Greenville for 4 years and Local Oak is probably the one thing we will miss the most. The community is incredible and the service is always great. A must try.

Excellent knowledge and selection of home brews, I stumbled upon it in the middle of nowhere. Great beer garden. No food on site, but food trucks visit the garden with some frequency,

I love Local Oak! I come here about once every week or two as it is a great place to go with friends, family, colleagues, or even alone. I have come here for hangouts with friends, date nights, to spend time with my dog, and even alone to read and do work. Some nights there are food trucks, other times not. You are always welcome to bring your own food, your pets, and whatever you want to have a great time. I really don't have much to say other than to just encourage you to COME HERE! The beer is great - I always order an IPA and I am never disappointed. My friend from Europe always wants European style drinks and she tends to like them a lot as well. The bartenders are so friendly and the people there are regulars. This is place you have to check out.

I really enjoyed my first visit here. It's such a nice space and the outdoor area is perfect for relaxing under the shade of the namesake oak tree or playing a game of corn hole. I had a flight of four different beers and was really impressed with the two sours and the hazy IPA. Although the nitro porter was good too, it didn't complement the sours, which was my fault in selection (I'm still usually happy with dark beer in warm weather). Definitely worth the drive from Greenville to enjoy the experience.

No food but Beer was awesome and love the Brewery. They have a great outdoor space also

No longer allow kids after 7pm. If you have a family another local establishment maybe a better alternative.

Great craft beers! I loved their key lime sour back when they had it. Their brew selections always change a little bit so you can always try something new, but make sure to come back when you find one that you like bc they may not brew the same one again! This is a great hang out spot with friends. They have large picnic tables outside around a beautiful oak tree and lots of space for you to play disc golf and cornhole. I would definitely recommend you to visit on a nice summer evening!

Great loca brewery! They have a pretty wide selection of beers and the Rasberry sour is one of my all-time favorite beers. The outside area is huge and we love that they have food trucks on the weekends. It's also really nice that the back area is fenced in for families with kids!

Just tried this place for for first time recently and I am very excited to see a brewery move into downtown Winterville. All the different drinks I tried were all excellent! I'm looking forward to future events at this brewery!

Local micro brewery. Inside Bar is okay, nothing fancy but the outside area is fantastic built around a huge Oak tree to sit under. Chairs and picnic tables are available or bring your own. Nice grassy area for kids to play, corn hole available. Food trucks some days. Good beers and not just IPAs had a lager, Hefeweizen, sours, stouts and others.
