I have eaten here several times. Outside of one minor issue over a year ago, Local Provisions is an excellent restaurant. Our dining experience this evening was the best by far. We were seated almost immediately with a reservation and we were able to choose where we wanted to sit. The restaurant was somewhat busy but not at full capacity. Chris provided excellent service and told us about the specials. He even asked the chef if a modification could be made to eliminate dairy from a dish. The food came out surprisingly fast and was so delicious. I had tried most of the menu up to this point. But I had never had the branzino. This is officially my #1A dish and the burger #1B. I would love to see some additions to their dessert menu. They bake great-tasting breads and breakfast items. It would be nice to see a chocolate souffle with a bourbon vanilla cream. Or, a blackberry bread pudding dish with ice cream. I would have spent more today with more dessert options and our visits would increase. Thank you, again Chris!

A Night at Local Provisions, Sterling, Virginia From the moment you step into Local Provisions, it’s clear this is a gathering spot for those in the know. There’s a warmth here—not just from the wood-fired grill, but from the energy of a place where regulars are clearly at home. The staff radiates hospitality, making it feel like you’ve stumbled upon a hidden gem that somehow everyone already knows about. The first thing that grabbed my attention? Beef lasagna soup. Yes, you read that right. Arriving at the table bubbling hot, it’s the kind of dish that demands a moment of appreciation before diving in. Once it cooled, the first spoonful was pure comfort—rich, savory, and deeply satisfying. A nice surprise on the menu: fresh-squeezed lemonade. It’s a small touch, but one that speaks to the kind of care and attention that defines the experience here. For the main course, the Wester Ross Scottish salmon was a standout. Perfectly cooked to a medium temperature, it arrived atop a thoughtfully composed plate—quinoa, cauliflower, pomegranate, and kale, all tied together with a bright lemon oregano vinaigrette. The combination of textures and flavors kept each bite interesting, balancing heartiness with freshness. And then came dessert: a cheesecake soft serve that was everything you’d want it to be—smooth, rich, and just custardy enough to linger. Paired with my usual cappuccino, it was the kind of finish that makes you sit back and savor the moment. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch. If you go, ask for Kit—she brought an extra layer of fun to the night, making sure every detail was just right. About the Restaurant Located at 46286 Cranston Street in Sterling, Virginia, Local Provisions has made a name for itself with a farm-to-table, scratch-made approach to dining. It’s the kind of place you visit once and immediately start planning your next trip back.

Google
Cute farm-to-table restaurant located in the Cascades Marketplace shopping center. I came here with my parents for brunch and was impressed by the freshness of the ingredients they use. The lamb burger was my favorite! It was tender, not too gamey, and the sesame focaccia was delicious.

Google
Excellent dining experience at Local Provisions. I’d go as far as saying this might be the best handmade pasta in town. We loved every dish we ordered and can’t wait to return.

Google
Fantastic food and great service. Shout out to Meyvelin and Joe for their great hospitality! This was especially notable as things initially got off to a very shaky start (we nearly walked out!) as a result of the "bar seating" situation being very unclear, HOWEVER our servers went above and beyond to make it right. We'd definitely be back again for the food and service.

Google
Local Provisions is an exceptional Italian restaurant. My family and I recently dined there, and we were impressed! The homemade pasta was a treat, both visually and for our taste buds. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was absolutely delightful. We’ll definitely be returning!

Local Provisions in Sterling: A Culinary Gem! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I just had the most incredible lunch at Local Provisions! The grilled scallops special was phenomenal—perfectly cooked with buttery, creamy mashed potatoes, capers, leeks, chives, mushrooms and crispy bacon bits. Every bite was pure bliss😋 And don’t get me started on the lasagna soup! It’s honestly out of this world; a rich, comforting blend of flavors that you must try and the fluffy fresh bread 🍞 compliments it very well 👌 If you’re in Sterling, this place is a must-visit! Check out the pics I posted—they don’t do the food justice! 🍽️✨

Yelp
Favorite spot in all of loudoun county for brunch and dinner!! Farm to table ingredients, homemade pasta and bread, and a rotating selection of desserts make this place stand out. There's almost always an older crowd here, but that's likely because of its location in the burbs. Can't get enough of their cinnamon roll, which is always on the brunch menu.

Yelp
TL;DR: food was not good Stumbled on this place on Yelp/Google as we were looking for somewhere to eat on our way home. We came at an off time between lunch and dinner, so it was easy to grab a table. Service was average. Personal observation/opinion: the interior kind felt like their decor was unfinished. It just seemed like they popped up the restaurant that day and were waiting for the rest of their materials to arrive. FOOD: ~Gemelli ala vodka (3.5/5) with Chicken (2/5): The pasta was decent. I liked the texture of the pasta, the flavor of the sauce was okay. The chicken was awful. It came sliced on top of the pasta, but they cut it in a way where when you bit into it, it would rip in a weird direction. On top of that, it was SO dry. ~Truffle burger (2/5): So disappointed. I feel like the truffle flavor was overpowered by the fontina in the spread, so it was hard to taste it. The brioche bun was too thick AND dry. I got this with chips (2/5). The server stated that they had sweet potato chips, but when the food came out, there were like 2 sweet potato chips and the rest were (I think) regular chips. The chips were not crispy and felt stale. I literally could not bite into some of them without trying to rip it like jerky. This place has great reviews, so not sure if it just isn't to our taste or if our experience was an outlier.

Yelp
Finally had the opportunity to have dinner at Local Provisions. The reviews has been great so expectations were high. We were not disappointed. The Fritto misto was very tasty as a starter. Our entrees were the Gemelli a la Vodka (with added crab) and the grilled Branzino. Both were delicious and well prepared. Our only slight disappointment was dessert. They only offer two gelato flavors nightly. On the night we went neither flavor was vanilla, so our first choice of espresso affogato was less appealing. Our server recommended the apple crisp, but we opted for the chocolate deux. It was fine, but nothing "incredible". We will be back again soon. The vibe was casual and relaxed. Reservations definitely recommended on the weekend. It was busy and full.

Yelp
My fiancée and I really like this place. We've been here twice now and enjoy the lamb burger the most. It somehow got better the second time. It had a nice smoky flavor but also remained juicy at the same time. The focaccia bread it is put on is soft and freshly made. In fact, all bread and pasta here is made fresh and in house. I think even the butter is made fresh. The one thing I wish they'd do is warm up the bread before bringing it to you. My fiancée liked her pasta dish on our most recent trip. I believe it was the rigatoni Alla vodka and she added a piece of chicken to it. I really enjoyed it. It had lots of flavor compared to the ragu we had on the first visit. The service here is typically fast and friendly. The wait staff usually stop by a few times throughout the time we're there. They are good about requests and questions on the menu. The ambiance is open and brighter. It's very casual dining. There's ample seating throughout the restaurant as well as a bar with seating.

Preeti S.

Yelp
I was in the area, so came to this for an early dinner on a weekday. It was not busy and found a parking spot easily. I ordered the Grilled Branzino. It was a small portion for the price ( well things are expensive now I guess!). But the dish was good, can't complain. I wasn't very hungry, so a light meal kept me happy. I was here last year too on a weekend and this place was packed. Had a hard time finding parking. I had Shrimp Risotto and it was good as well.

Yelp
The first time I came here it was a much slower weekend and it was around 4pm. The food was only alright. I really enjoyed the lamb burger, but the bolognese wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be. This time around we came around brunch time and I ordered: Gemelli Ala Vodka and added grilled chicken 4/5 The consistency was creamy and rich and the chicken was a perfect compliment to it Lamb burger 4/5 Rigatoni Bolognese 3/5 Lemon and mint Nojito 1/5 super bitter and lemony they added no sugar or honey and you couldn't taste the Mint They make all bread and pasta noodles in house so it tastes super fresh. Ambiance is very chill but modern and chic. Service was solid, our waitress was kind and she checked in on us. Overall, I'll be coming back here!

Yelp
Swanky farm to table diner with a hometown feel. The service was great and the food was exceptional. Yelp reviews led us to the crab fetticini and Scottish Salmon and both were delicious down to the last bite! The portion size is plenty and the price is fair. Its the perfect spot for a date night or brunch with the girls.

Christine M.

Yelp
Just had the loveliest brunch at Local Provisions! This cozy, family-run spot welcomed us right in and made us feel like we'd found our new go-to weekend place. The vibe was so warm and inviting, even though the restaurant was bustling. Almost everything is made in-house (definitely grab some bread--it's amazing!), and the service was top-notch. Our server was super friendly, let us settle in, and took great care of us. We started with the frito misto, which was light and crispy, and I couldn't get enough of the garden-fresh zucchini and giant shrimp. My husband ordered the lamb burger, which was a total showstopper--juicy, huge, and delicious. I got the chicken avocado salad, which was perfection, especially with the grains and the flavorful dressing. Sadly, no room left for dessert this time, but we'll be back for it soon!

Yelp
Very good food and the staff is great! Make sure you make a reservation as there is limited seating. It is totally worth the wait to give your taste buds a treat!

Yelp
Amazing food and great location! As a local to the area, I was pleasantly surprised to see such a beautiful spot close to where I grew up! I really enjoyed the fresh bread basket with salted butter before moving onto my entree of cheesy pesto linguine and chicken. As a pesto lover, I can attest this was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and wove in the chicken perfectly. Large portions! The Almond cake was very moist and paired perfectly with the cream and berries. The service was fast and the servers did a great job of describing all of the menu items. Excited to bring more friends and family to Local Provisions!

Yelp
Local Provisions definitely gives off strong brunch vibes, so if you're into that, this may be your place. We primarily wanted to try the appetizers here, so we ordered 3. The lasagna soup was yummy! It had a great balance of cheese and flavor. The labneh was good, but had a really strong flavor to it. Hard to eat the labneh by itself without bread (we tried after we finished off the bread), so we had to get a bit more bread. The steak "fries" were essentially an entire potato sliced into 6 pieces. Too big to be called "fries" in my opinion, and too overpriced ($10) for what it is. Overall, great service from the staff!

Neil W.

Yelp
I have only one thing I was upset by and it was that the steak fries are obviously potato wedges and not steak fries. Beyond that, everything met expectations, but did not blow them away. I appreciate everything is local and they're farm to table, that the drinks are reasonably priced, and the service is good - we were asked if we wanted a refill on our bread for the labneh. We were seated outside along with basically everyone else at the restaurant since it was a nice day. Parking is plentiful so don't fret. I'm still upset at the potatoes though, they literally cut a potato into 6 pieces, fried them and called them steak fries. Those are potato wedges -_- if I wanted wedges then I wouldn't have gotten them

Nameeta M.

Yelp
We stopped in here for a quick lunch and we loved the relaxed, homey feel of this restaurant. They make their bread fresh daily and we can tell, and they had a lot of great options on the menu. You are able to add various proteins to your dish, so I opted for a pasta dish with chicken on it and it was cooked perfectly. Their drinks were also made well and the service was very helpful. This is located in the Dulles Town center so parking wasn't a problem at all which is always nice. This was a great spot!

Yelp
We ate here in winter of 2025. Bottom line-- it was good, and everyone enjoyed their meal, but some items on the menu deterred us because of price. Our group had the lamb burger, the gemelli a la vodka, and the beef rigatoni, as well as two appetizers. The verdicts were: Lamb burger-- coked well and tasked great, but the toppings included tomatoes and spicy peppers. As I was eating it, I realized that all the tomatoes were on one side, and all the peppers were on the other. So the first half of the burger was deliciously tomato-ish, and the second half was spicy. It would have been better mixed up a bit. Also, it came with potato wedges, which felt like they needed something else (ketchup?). Gemelli/pasta-- my wife liked this, but added a chicken breast as some others on yelp had recommended. Rigatoni-- my teenager liked this, but said he wished it had come with a bit more meat. Bruscetta-- delicious, if you like butternut squash. I don't, but even then, it was interesting to eat. My only complaint was that I wish we could have ordered a number equal to the number of diners in our party. It would be easy to implement, since it is just bread slices with toppings. For example, we didn't need 4, since we were a group of three. Fritto Misto-- a nice mix of assorted fried stuff. My only complaint was that the onions didn't hold their breading, so they were kind of off. Overall, the food was great. I did feel like some of the items were over priced (not the ones we ordered, but others on the menu.) And the wine was so expensive we didn't even consider it.

Tiffany T.

Yelp
It's a cute restaurant and started filling up pretty quickly for dinner after we got seated! Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Local bread with butter - bread was cold and could be better but the butter was tasty 3/5 beef lasagna soup - it's really a cute lasagna in a small size. I liked it but nothing too unique 3/5 Rigatoni bolognese - not too memorable but decent. I think I remember the pasta being a bit hard 3/5 Blue crab spaghetti - very yummy! Unique sauce and so many crab chunks! Sweet and creamy and pasta was cooked well 4/5

Nanci B.

Yelp
Everything I've had there delicious. Friendly staff. Bread is so good! Nothing else to say. Like their soup too

Kyle M.

Yelp
First time stopping here during gorgeous summer day, local farm to table ... yes yes everyone is farm to table but local is great Overall great place to grab a bit for lunch date or dinner with friends great small feel and the service was great by staff making sure you're taken care of The appetizer and entree were clean, tasted great and they make their own bread which we had to try and was nice crispy outside and soft air inside, defiantly find an appetizer that has it! The salmon was cooked and seasoned great and salad was light but little drenched in dressing but overall was on the spot. Note menu changes on season and availability.

Yelp
My daughters and I visited Local Provisions at lunch time on NYE. They weren't busy, but on a normal day or evening, I would recommend a reservation as it is not a large place. I have had this restaurant on my list to visit for a long time and I am glad I did. We ordered the bread and butter and I really enjoyed it, but my youngest found it too salty. To be fair, it is borderline. My youngest ordered a size Caesar with chicken. My one critique is only giving customers butter knives when serving up a full chicken breast that is not cut up. The chicken was delicious, but just difficult to work with. My oldest ordered the carbonara and said the guancialli was over cooked and I tried it and agree. The pasta was quite good. I ordered the chicken and avocado salad and it was delicious, but yet again, a full chicken breast with a butter knife to cut it. Again, it was delicious, but the least they could do is cut it into strips or provide a steak knife. Overall, it was a good experience with great service.

Kimberly S.

Yelp
I was intrigued by this place because of its farm-to-table concept. They delivered. Ambiance - I loved how bright and airy it felt when you first walked in. It's intimate, but doesn't feel crowded. There is outdoor seating as well. Food - The food was good, not great. However, the truffle steak fries were simply outstanding. The sourdough bread was also delicious. Service - Customer service was good and friendly. Our glasses stayed full. This is an overall nice spot. I needed a little more flavor to rave about this place, but I would still recommend you give it a try.

William M.

Yelp
New favorite restaurant in Loudoun. A home run--food, drinks, service, ambience all top notch!

Jasmine B.

Yelp
Thank you Local Provisions! I decided to have a birthday lunch here with my friends and it was a great decision. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. My friends bought an outside cake and they so kindly stored and served it to us at the end of our meal. Anyways, I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese and it was just what I was craving! It is a comforting and rich pasta dish. The meat sauce was robust and hearty that clings to the rigatoni. It's admirable how long it is simmered for which creates deep and savory flavors. I also loved the addition of the ricotta as it creates a smooth consistency. My friends also let me try their dishes as well and everything just tasted so good. So glad I got to try this place out!

Adrianna L.

Yelp
The restaurant has a nice cozy vibe. The food is always on point, and the staff is friendly. The cocktails are a must-try. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long day.

Yelp
Love, love, love this place! Came in here for lunch with BF and two older ladies, who had not seen each other in a while. They had music on. The two older members of our party were hard of hearing, so we asked if they could turn the music down. And lo and behold, they did! Our server even came back and asked if the level was OK for us. That was outstanding! I had a lamb burger, which was to die for. It was very very good. One member of the party had the chicken sandwich and said it was the best chicken sandwich she's had in her life. She's in her late 80s, so I take that as a high compliment. Another person had the pasta. We all split a fruit cobbler for dessert. That was also an amazing dish. I do intend to come back here in the future. The food was wonderful. Service was wonderful and it was just one of the best dining experiences. I've had an hour long time. We also had an appetizer that was fried calamari, zucchini, and shrimp. It was very very good also.

Katlyn H.

Yelp
If you are near Sterling, definitely give this place a try! We came here on a Wednesday after work, and it wasn't too busy. The inside is small, so I'd definitely make a reservation on a Friday or a weekend. They told us they were known for their pasta and bread that they make in house everyday. They also have a seasonal menu, so everything was very fresh. I started by getting the lemon sipper to drink. It was good but I would have liked a little more lemon flavor. For the table, we shared a Burrata appetizer. The Burrata was amazing, I could have had it as my entree it was so good. I got the shrimp risotto as my entree which had so much flavor and the shrimps were a good size. I can't stop thinking about my food, it was so good. I can't wait to go back.

Rick S.

Yelp
Great place it's a gem. The good outstanding the pasta bolognese, fish, shrimp risotto, and desert were amazing. The service excellent and well we will be back.

Marianna F.

Yelp
This restaurant took over the old Boston Market building in the Cascades shopping center. The reviews on Yelp made me want to go so my sister and I went here for brunch. I had to try the highly acclaimed Labneh dip served with fresh artisan bread, crispy, baby cucumber slices and small fried onions. The dip is sour cream or yogurt with a slight tang of lemon. Very good but not incredible. I got the French Omelette filled with Boison cheese and comes with salad greens dressed with a vinaigrette. The omelette was good but very small. The greens were bitter and over abundant. In my mind the omelette should have been the main thing on the plate with a side salad. They need to swap the portion sizes. My sister had the French Toast with cooked apples. Excellent flavors. I loved the ambiance and they were playing jazz. Very cool vibe. They served cubes of brown sugar for the coffee sweetener. Delicious. It's the little details like that make a place stand out.

Stefan S.

Yelp
Really quaint place. Good food and great service. I met a friend here and we had a great experience. She got a scalloped special dish with greens and tomato and shallots with vinaigrette over it. I got the bolognese pasta with a delicious dollop of ricotta on top of the pasta. It was very good, seasoned well and had a great flavor. For dessert, we shared a chocolate deux which was dark chocolate soft serve with an Oreo crumble over top and caramel sauce. It was much lighter than I expected and very tasty and very delicious. Highly recommend a visit to this great restaurant. I came for lunch but I'll be back for dinner as there are a few extra items on their menu that look outstanding and I want to try. They also have an outdoor area where you can sit outside though being nearly 100° today we sat inside in a nice comfortable air conditioner. Our server was excellent and provided excellent feedback when we asked about his favorite dishes and his favorite desserts. I'll be back hopefully at a time when I can sit outside.

Yelp
FOOD/DRINK: 4/5 SERVICE: 5/5 EXPERIENCE: 4/5 We have been to Local Provisions a couple times now - once was when they had their summer menu. All of the food we've had has been excellent and the service is wonderful. I especially enjoy their mocktails, like the blackberry ginger fizz. The skirt steak dish needs a little fine tuning as the mushrooms and squash were too smoky. The summer shrimp risotto dish had slightly rubbery shrimp. The Caesar salad ($12) was steep in price but the portion was good for an "app" - my problem is that it was a bit too heavily dressed for my liking. I finally got the most talked about dish - the lasagna soup. And it definitely lived up to the hype! A rich dish that tasted wonderful on a cold winter day. By far the best thing I've had here. Give this restaurant a chance! I expect they're still working out the kinks. NOTES: A big reason why they are not getting 5 stars is that they do not offer any desserts without gelato. I am lactose intolerant and it's disappointing that I can't have any of their desserts. They did have an olive oil cake on there the very first time we went (very good!!), but it disappeared. The cobbler is on there now, but we tried it, and it was clearly a dessert that was meant to be with gelato. It's not one of the dishes where it was still good without it--it was just okay. Another reason is that they are a little too expensive for what you get. This was particularly true when I got the "chicken cooked under a brick" for $23 and it wasn't a large dish at all. I think they need to adjust their pricing, as it seems this place is more casual than upscale.

Buck S.

Yelp
Sat at the bar! Always a plus. Fun cocktail to start. Bloody Marys were looking great! Joseph was sailing them dudes out! But opted for the citrus crush deal. Nice. The burger was cooked perfectly. Brioche bun always a fav! Food came quick enough and Joseph had all under control. So stuffed. No room for dessert. But..... have had the gelato deal before. If you have saved room.... I must say the place for a Saturday noonish was rocking. All hands were on deck. No one got lost in the shuffle. The service was great!

Eileen C.

Yelp
Was there for a quick lunch stop/ business meeting, everything just right on. Never disappointed.

Nathan N.

Yelp
Great food and great service. Menu is small but everything is delicious. Restaurant felt a little dark. Fritto Misto is high quality calamari lightly breaded and fried - delicious. Truffle Parmigiana Fries were a bit too cheesy for my liking but still tasted great. I had the Gemelli Ala Vodka with chicken for my entree. It was actually somewhat spicy, which I felt hindered my enjoyment of the dish. The description did say that it was made with Sicilian peppers but I didn't think it would be to that extent. My mother ordered the blue crab spaghetti and that one was VERY spicy. Not sure if that's how it's intended to be or not but she had to pause several times to just let the spice cool down. For dessert I had a chocolate deux, which is dark chocolate soft serve gelato covered in chocolate cookie crumbs. They serve soft serve gelato but honestly I didn't grasp what made this gelato over normal soft serve. It was delicious either way. Would probably come back here for some sort of celebratory dinner, but not otherwise.

Virginia H.

Yelp
The food is delicious and fresh and it's very creative. The service was great the waiter very helpful.

Paul J.

Yelp
Local Provisions is a great little unassuming spot in Sterling, VA of all places. Don't let the strip mall location fool you, this is a serious foodie oasis! We arrived for dinner and we started with the Fritto Misto, grilled Spanish Octopus and the Loaded Labneh Dip. All were good, but the Loaded Labneh stands out as a truly amazing dish - smooth, creamy, perfectly paired with briny pickles and onion crisps and thick, wheaty bread. For dinner, I decided on an adventure and ordered the Blue Crab Spaghetti - al dente pasta with a bright tomato sauce and the depth of blue crab meat scattered throughout. We finished it off with an ice cream sundae drizzled with hot chocolate. Plenty to eat with lots of flavors, I'll be coming back to Local Provisions for sure. You should definitely give this place a try!

Chelsea R.

Yelp
Great overall food, service, and ambience! Locally sourced ingredients and homemade bread and pasta. Very much enjoyed the goat cheese and butternut on toast. Everyone liked their food, coffee, and cocktails. My roast beef sandwich was incredible. We shared a cinnamon roll best I've ever tasted. It felt like a good value for the quality.

Gia D M.

Yelp
Oh my goodness, is this place lovely. We've been meaning to try Local Provisions but hadn't gotten the chance. Today I was in the area for an appointment when I drove past. Decided it would be a great place to pop in alone for lunch. I had just arrived after the kitchen closed though. No worries - they could make me something light, they offered. It worked perfectly as I wanted to get a salad. They friendly and warm and happy to help. So I sat outside on their patio on this bright sunny 78 degree day where they have managed to create such beautiful and sophisticated ambiance in the Giant parking lot. I had the most delicious, fresh, bountiful salad that I'd absolutely eat every day. Omg that oregano vinaigrette! I worked away on my laptop in the sunshine while I ate and off I went. Needed to write this review right now. Because my experience was that spectacular.

Alice B.

Yelp
Really great place to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather before the winter comes. The food selections are limited but all breads and pastas are made in house which is a nice touch. Service isn't rushed so you actually get to relax and not feel like you're being forced out. This place is listed as Italian on Yelp but honestly it leans more Greek here than Italian with Labneh, Lamb and Mediterranean flavors shining through on most dishes. They also offer brunch if you make it in time - but we missed it when we visited. We ordered the Lasagna Soup, and Frito Mixto (fried shrimp, calamari, and veggies), the Lamb burger, kids linguine, and the hot honey grilled chicken sandwich. The Lasagna soup was good, but small. The flavors were nice and there appeared to be some type of green (possibly kale) inside. I would have preferred that there were more actually noodles in the 'soup' but they replaced some of that with bread - just would have preferred more noodles. The Frito Mixto was a hit for the entire table and we ended up ordering two. The shrimp are large and fresh and the fried calamari was not chewy at all. The fried vegetables were a nice and welcomed addition. They are served with a labneh yogurt dipping sauce, but we preferred to munch on the basket without the added sauce. The lamb burger was surprisingly delicious and a recommendation from our server, Mabeline (sp?). Even if you don't like lamb you should try this burger - it will change your mind. It didn't have any gamey flavors at all - so if you're in the mood to try a new burger, definitely give it a shot. The hot honey grilled chicken sandwich was good, but not overly flavorful. The bread also was a bit soggy due to the pickle. The homemade sweet potato and regular potato chips were to die for. Every single one was perfectly crispy, perfectly seasoned and not oily at all. Honestly I'd put these on the appetizer menu as a quick snack - they're that good and can shine on their own. The kids linguine was definitely a miss and not very flavorful at all, even with extra butter, salt, and cheese. It clumped together and just wasn't enjoyable - we basically tossed that dish. Most everything was delicious and the ambiance was great so we will definitely be back.

Yelp
First time here, loved the service, ambiance and the food! It's a cute little place, the corner sofa is lovely and so is the decor! Got some coffee to start off the Brunch, Mom got the French Toast, I ordered the Ham and Chili(vegetable, not to be confused with Chili') and the Truffle fries. These are the Biggest Fries I've ever seen or had, and they were delicious. Got some Aioli dipping to go with them. French Toast was well balanced, our server did suggest its gonna be sweet, but I found to be milder than many other in the area.

Yelp
As promised, I came back to try this new place. I made reservations for 5:00 and was taken straight to my table. Micky, our waiter, was very nice and knowledgeable. I had the Brick on a Chicken, my wife had a pasta dish. Make sure you order bread too, you pay for it, but receive a generous portion, and it is outstanding. We loved the food, flavorable, great presentation, overall a great evening. Had the ale crisp for dessert, was so good. We crown Local Provision Best New Restaurant in town!

Yelp
Great experience all around. Prompt service, wonderful food, nice atmosphere. Goat Cheese Bruschetta - sweet from the butternut squash, pomegranate seeds, and honey. Savory from the goat cheese. Nice crunch from the toast. All pastas were very well cooked, nice chew, great flavors. Lots of crab in the spaghetti. Pork Osso Bucco - very tender, intriguing orange flavor to the sauce that works very well. Gelato - always a nice way to end the meal. We've been a few times now, it is very consistent, and will be back again.

Yelp
The food here is always fresh and delicious. Whether we're here for brunch, lunch or dinner, our meals have been outstanding. Highly recommend the cinnamon roll, and the bread is addicting!

Yelp
I'm obsessed. Their food is fantastic - fresh, clean, consistent. They make fresh pasta in house, they use local cheese, they bake their own bread. I've never had a bad meal and it's one of the few places where I've really enjoyed everything I tried. They clearly take pride in their food. Staff is welcoming and friendly, the kind of place you enjoy going to. If you are going for an evening meal, definitely make reservations at least 1 hour ahead of time. We have been a few times for lunch and have no trouble getting a table, recently went for dinner on a whim and there was a 2.5hr wait! We also tried one of family take out meals on a night we were really busy and the portions were generous and the quality was really good. We plan to try others.

Yelp
I placed a to go order. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara w/chicken & simple salad and my wife the mushroom risotto w/shrimp & simple salad. None of it was good. The spaghetti carbonara was dry and sticky and too little sauce. The chicken was dried and overcooked. My wife's mushroom risotto didn't taste throughly cooked, it was hard on the backend if that makes sense. Like the interior was hard. The shrimp didn't taste like it had any seasoning and the mushroom were soggy. The salads were lackluster, with a tangy dressing that was sour, equivalent to biting into a lemon sour. Unfortunate because we ate here earlier this year and I remember the food being on the complete opposite end of this. Disappointed, I am.

Yelp
First class experience all the way! We came here for a festive lunch with my 90-year-old mother and her friend. We were seated promptly and our server was even amenable to lowering the volume of the music to accommodate some hearing issues. The menus is fantastic and the prices reasonable for the quality of food prepared. I had 2 appetizers for my lunch: grilled octopus and their Caesar salad. The octopus was charred perfectly and delicious. The salad was similarly good though mild for a Caesar. My wife had the lamb burger and my mother had the fettuccine. The fettuccine was good but the lamb was exceptional! The friend had the chicken sandwich and loved that. The bread for the table cost $6 but was worth every penny. For dessert, the four of us split their signature peach crumble. M only slight complaint was that the espresso we ordered with dessert was not hot. It seemed to have been waiting awhile before ring delivered to the table. Nevertheless, I recommend Local as good as it gets and look forward to returning!

Yelp
All of the dishes were really well made and the service was quite good. We got our food in a timely manner. Most of the people that come here are a bit on the older side, but that's mainly due to the location being in Sterling. The fritto misto wasn't too crispy (which is fine for me), and the tartar sauce went great with it! The parpadelle was thick, but it lost its firmness so it would break apart pretty easily. The bits of crab and bacon went well with the pasta and it was overall wasn't too heavy. The risotto was also pretty good but I expected the rice to be softer. The shrimp maintained its seafood flavor and wasn't too creamy. The olive oil cake had a sweet whipped cream and fresh strawberries while the cake was a medium fluffy but still dense cake! While the carb itself wasn't the most impressive in terms of texture, the dishes were well seasoned.

Yelp
One of my favorite local spots for great drinks and food! I love that they use superior ingredients and organic ingredients. My favorite dish is always the seafood misto and Ragu pasta but they recently added pork which I can't eat kind of a bummer! The service is the reason they aren't getting 5 stars it can be mid tier.

Yelp
I came here for a business lunch. The place is clean and has a nice parking lot nearby. The service is friendly and relatively quick. The chef was kind enough to come by and say hi to us and made a recommendation or two. For a starter we ordered the firefly Farms goat cheese, which was interesting for sure, and pretty tasty. For the main course - I ordered the rockfish dish which was pretty bland (although in full disclosure I did remove the bacon), and then my guest ordered the rigatoni Bolognese, which he claimed was pretty tasty. Net net, this was not a bad experience, and I look forward to coming back and trying some additional more flavorful dishes.
