Went to brunch with my wife this morning. Cute spot, food was mid. Not bad, but definitely not great. Might try lunch or dinner sometime. The interior reminds me of a 4 star hotel lobby with restaurant.

chose to try Local Table for the first time at lunch today while passing through The Woodlands. their brunch menu featured a variety of delicious -sounding options, making it a difficult decision, but we settled on the falafel bowl, the bacon jam club sandwich (i added red onion and it was absolutely the best sandwich i have had in a very long time), chicken and waffles, and the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer (so good!). everything was amazing and the service was top notch. can't wait to go back again to try some of the other items on the menu!

Faith was an AMAZING waitress! Great timing & hospitality. All food came out exactly as ordered and was delicious. 🍽️ I highly recommend Local Table & will be back to try more on the menu! ⭐️

A friend and I enjoyed a wonderful Lunch at The Woodlands Local Table. Delicious food, wonderful service! Bessy was our waitperson, Melissa waitperson in training and both were so much fun. They offered great suggestions and offered much information about the restaurant. I had the honey glazed salmon - so good; my friend enjoyed the meatloaf and she said it was tasty. The manager visited our table to welcome us. Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to this Local Table and it won’t be our last.

The food was good. I had the pasta with shrimp. The lemonade a bit too sweet, even for me who has a sweet tooth. The cappuccino was also delicious. It had a nice atmosphere but a bit too loud. It got cold once it got emptier, for those that often get cold indoors during the summer, do bring a light jacket.

We’ve had many enjoyable experiences at this beautiful location, & value for money. Great food, large beer selection on tap, fresh cocktails including a fun mimosa flight at the weekend, & eager to please staff who clearly like their role (a sign of good management). The grilled chicken sandwich does not disappoint, & their fries are the best around. We love the spinach dip & goats cheese for sharing, however have also enjoyed the kebab & gyro plates. The soups are made fresh, & they have a nice selection for kids. We’ve also seen welcome deserts go out, a lovely touch.

This our favorite spot to eat. The food is fresh with good portions. The staff is awesome and very attentive. We highly recommend eating here.

Stella, our server, was so sweet! The food was amazing and so fresh! We ordered Blue crab cakes, and Green Chile Shrimp Ceviche,and Prosciutto and caramelized pineapple pizza! It was all delicious! For dessert, Carrot cake!

Breakfast for first time here! Friend ordered huevos rancheros and the plate looked terrific with avocado on top of over easy eggs and fingerling potatoes crisp and delicious! The tortilla chips were thinly sliced and so crunchy!! My friend received a small Bowl of fruit. On her plate, which I thought was a fabulous addition and I ordered same dish and received no bowl of fruit. I commented to waiter and he brought the tiniest serving of riot. Ave ever seen - in a tiny sauce cup only holding a few blueberries and chopped up strawberries and two bites of cantaloupe. I love lots of hot coffee, regularly filled, but must ask for more hot coffee here. Waiters are always very busy and hot coffee for customers must not be a top concern. Love this place and location and menu anyway. Any restaurant whose staff is positive coffee is fresh and steaming hot? Not lukewarm? Waiters are always terrific, just a busy place.

Great place, clean, nice atmosphere - but the breakfast items we ordered were a huge disappointment. It all looked great on the menu. For my wife and I - the waiter suggested the crab cake Benedict and Migas. The migas could have been good if not for being overloaded with taco strips. These were not migas... it says there are taco strips in the migas, didn't say it was almost taco strips with migas. The crab cakes the waiter said were 'home made'. The two Benedict's sat on perfectly identical rounds of crab cake that looked anything but. I don't care about that - the actual crab cakes were cakes of dough that had little evidence of any crab save for the less than fantastic fishy taste that was evident in each of them. Not good. I am sure the place does a lot of things right. My eggs tasted good.. other stuff our family got looked good. But if a server suggests the migas - be aware tortilla strips are overloaded and not just a supporting role. If server says the crab cakes are good - run :)

Why 5 stars? Because this was such a cleanser after a subpar experience elsewhere. --- --- --- I recently had a lox bagel at another restaurant and it left kind of a bad taste in my mouth. So as soon as I saw the smoked salmon avocado toast on the menu, *and* that it happened to be a top highlight, I was absolutely sold. And the result? THIS is how you do smoked on bread. It was basically the perfect rendition. I have no notes. Absolutely delicious. Fresh. High-end ingredients. No post-meal food coma. Very affordable (under $20 before tip). I had Local Table bookmarked forever and just never stopped in. I regret taking so long and will absolutely be back in the future.

Gyros platter was great. Nice atmosphere. Easy and comfortable setting. It was very good.

The food was okay. We had braised short rib quesadillas and lemon pasta. Fresh ingredients were great. In my opinion it needed more flavoring in the food. Service was great and our waiter was attentive. Loved the openness of this space all the decor.

The Menu is amazing!! So many options! Every day a special is awaiting ! Thursday is A WOODSTONE PIZZA AND BOTTLE OF WINE FOR $40.00 !! Your choice of 5 WOODSTONE PIZZA's!! Service is amazing ! I'm slightly confused. Maybe it's me. I was craving a steak kabob and after some Facebook local foodie page research this was said to be the place with the best one. First of all, I found the portion size to be very small for the price. 2 skewers with only 2 chunks of meat each a tiny scoop of rice and a tiny scoop of veggies. On the plus side the Brussels sprouts in the mix were AMAZING!! And the kabob was fine. Exceptional though? No. I was so befuddled I saved some of it for my husband to try. He said it was awesome and commented without prompting how what I'd left him was plenty enough and filling. It must be me right?! Haha

I visited here during a holiday and was still able to find parking up front surprisingly. Since I dined alone, I found the bar area fairly easily since all their Houston area restaurants are laid out similarly. One aspect that makes this one unique is the TWTX sign on the wall near the restroom. I've had a few of their cocktails which seem to be discounted for happy hour at some locations but not in the woodlands. Only their beers, wines, wells and frose are on sale then. I tried the chicken burger on my latest visit and a fresh strawberry lemonade. The chicken burger is a little different and better than your average chicken sandwich due to their cole slaw which they put on it that contains a bit of cilantro. I enjoyed this sandwich. Their strawberry lemonade is a good option for those skipping alcohol, like I did this particular day. They also give you free refills. The service was excellent as it should be sitting at the bartop.

Food was amazing!! Roberto was our server and was very attentive! Love this place!! The manager Riley was very pleasant, felt like she cared.

Smoked salmon avocado toast was really good. Huge portion and very tasty. We sat outside and it's a great place to bring kids.

While the food is always wonderful at Local Table, this evening we were served by an absolutely terrific young woman named Melody! She was attentive, professional but most importantly she was warm and welcoming. We were celebrating a birthday dinner with an old friend and she helped make the celebration special!

The food was very enjoyable, my Husband loved the Mahi Mahi which was a special. Our server was great, the only complaint was how long it took to get drinks from the Bar. They had one Bartender handling the bar and the Restaurant.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Normally if a restaurant has Greek, Mexican and American favorites I'm a bit skeptical but Local Table was on point . Food was excellent. Service was excellent. We ordered a Gyros plate to split. It came with 6 long strips of the gyros meat along with tzatziki and jalapeño hummus. Now I don't like hummus but this hummus good. Downside is that it only came with 1/2 piece of pita bread. However before we could even ask for it they brought us more. Excellent service from all sides. White and dark chocolate mousse cake was the "icing to the cake" We definitely will be back.

Service was amazing. The crab cakes were horrible frozen hockey pucks. The spritzer cocktail was nice.

Family and I decided to try Local Table tonight for dinner. It was our first time, and will certainly won't be our last. When you first walk in, you'll be great by smiling welcoming faces. The restaurant itself is fairly spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Our server was excellent. You can taste how the food is made fresh, using fresh ingredients. The menu has a variety of options. I started with the chicken tortilla soup. It was fresh, hearty and flavorful. For entrees we had the spicy buffalo chicken wrap, gyro plate and local kebab plate. The gyro was a bit greasy, but it was good. The kabob plate was absolutely delightful. The meat was tender and cooked perfectly, the vegetables were seasoned and fresh, and the portion size was just right. It also came with a slice of sour dough bread. I wish it came with the whole loaf, because it was that good. The chicken wrap was delicious. The fries were so good. We ended the night with the molten lava cake. Ya'll, you will not regret that choice. The cake was soft, moist and served warm with vanilla ice cream. It should be illegal to taste that good. Definitely looking forward to going back.

Excellent service, delicious food and a great ambiance. I've eaten here 4 different times so far and everything has always been excellent. I've brought my mom, sister, husband & a friend and everyone has loved it. No complaints from anyone, only praises. I even brought my 2 little dogs one time and ate at their dog friendly patio. They loved it too! It's a great place for weekend brunch, for lunch or dinner. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. And they have a great drink menu too. If you haven't tried them yet, give them a try. You won't regret it.

Went in for lunch on Saturday and sat outside on the patio at the bar window. Maddison P., was the bartender and what a true joy. She was the only bartender for the entire place which I thought would create a backlog of drink orders, but she didn't miss a beat. So efficient that she was able to chat with us from time to time and such a wonderful personality. We split the Local's Kabob Plate with Chicken. Due to some food allergies we asked Maddison to not use the regular marinade, just lemon juice, garlic and olive oil which was executed to perfection. Everything on the plate was tasty, fresh and large portions. There was a couple of very minor issues we brought to her attention which she promptly addressed, one of which was they didn't get their wine and beer order from the supplier and they were out of certain items. Surely not her fault the order didn't arrive for two days and with a brunch Sunday coming it would not look good for them to be out of things. Maddison made a list of what was needed and management was going to go out and purchase the items. Way to go Maddison, we look forward to seeing you again very soon.

Came here for a meal while out with the misses. I've been to the one in Garden Oaks before which I enjoyed when I got the glazed salmon. I decided to try something different so I got the gyros plate this time. So the gyros meat was good. Personally, it could've been a bit better to me. I've frequented my fair share of gyros and Greek restaurants & I've had gyros meat that was a bit more tender and a little more flavorful. It wasn't bad by any means, just not the best I've had. Pita bread was soft. Portion was a bit off tho so I had to ask for an additional pita bread. Tzatziki sauce was good but again, not my top pick. Fries were good too. All in all, it was a good meal but if I return here, I'd prolly stick to the glazed salmon.

The food was average. Wasn't bad but also wasn't great. Options at the restaurant were diverse and more than enough to choose from so I gave the waiter two options and asked him to surprise me. Told me he would bring the best in his option which was the gyro plate. It was missing the bountiful flavor I'm use to in other gyro spots in Houston but I need to take into account the food scene in Houston versus The Woodlands. I would possible come back and try something else.

I tried this place out last week and it was delicious. So much so, that I had to come back today! Last week I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries. It was sooooooo flavorful! 10/10. The size of the sandwich was huge and I wasn't able to finish the entire meal and one sitting. Today I opted for the Beef Tenderloin Fajita Salad it was a good portion and the Jalapeño Ranch dressing had a little kick to it. Service is great, food is ready on time and I'll defn be coming back soon.

The presentation of this meal was awesome! The mashed potatoes with the delightful cream sauce were delicious! The asparagus with roasted red peppers was cooked to perfection! The Cajun spice on the trout had just enough "kick" and as you can see from the photo, it was the entire fish. As usual, our service was wonderful. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The menu at this place has a wide variety of options to choose from! It doesn't stick to one cuisine which I liked, because there's something for everyone. I ordered the grilled chicken pesto sandwich with fries and it was absolutely delicious. The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I got a side of the feta ranch and if you're a ranch lover like me you will love this! My dad ordered the Anaheim chicken. The chicken was cooked through and was coated in a delicious cream sauce. The rice was a bit bland and could've used some sort of seasoning. Our waitress was super sweet and brought out our food super quickly. There were so many other items I would've liked to try and will definitely be coming back.

Hidden gem behind all the trees. Good food and service every time. Family friendly and large group gatherings.. this is the place be!

We came as a large party and our waiter did a great job overall. My husband got the omelette with jalapeno sausage (his sausages never came but the waiter removed it from the check upon request), and I got the gyro wrap. The wrap was good, nothing to write home about, but the fries were so delicious. There were a couple of ordering errors with drinks and our food and checks took a very long time to get here, but considering how large the party was it was very understandable.

Always enjoy going to the Garden Oaks location so popped in here for lunch while I was in the woodlands. It's not the easiest to find, same as many other things in the woodlands due to heavy tree lines and low signage, but pulled in to a packed parking lot. Was happy to step inside and see plenty of seating still. Food was great as always but service was a little on the slow side. Would come back since I know what I like but I think my Garden Oaks location is a little better.

The food was average. My wife and I both had the gyros. Flavor and price was fine but the service was awful. Waiters just standing around not attentive at all. Out waiter had to take a "test" while waiting tables. Not sure what that was about. Had to ask for refills, had to ask for a box and the check. No manager was seen. Oh well.

Happy *almost* TWO MONTH birthday to this fabulous place. Local Table is like if True Foods & Bella Green had a child. Their menu is definitely versatile & leaves you feeling satisfied and happy rather than sluggish and bloated. Don't get me started on their specialty drinks I wish I could try them all but that's sadly not possible haha. I think I'd make this a weekly spot to tackle every dish and drink! Oh! And their chocolate cake is just devilishly-HEAVENLY. Wow. It's rich and velvet-y with the perfect about of creaminess. Maybe a blackberry or two would add even more texture popping! And nice colors whenever they are in season The ambience and service were EXCEPTIONAL. Every single person there - waiter/waitress, manager, hostess, owner, cooks, etc. - are just eager to make your dining experience the best! Keep it up & you will have lifelong customers turned to familia in no time:) P.S. Their honey-ginger Brussels sprouts are the best I've ever had out. Usually restaurants DRENCH their 'sprouts but these were just spectacular. You could taste the sweetness of the honey-ginger and still get the nutritional benefits of the vegetable;)

To start the service was great! I am a vegetarian and they had plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians. I had the falafel bowl and it was terrific. I will go back. Atmosphere was very pleasant, staff was courteous.

We came in with a reservation on a pretty empty weeknight and were seated promptly after checking in. We ordered the cast iron goat cheese as our appetizer, and got the salmon and penne rustica as our entrees. The goat cheese was great fresh out of the oven, but as it cooled, it congealed and became a bit inedible. When we warmed it up the following day with leftovers, it didn't reheat well. The penne was solid and salmon was fine. I feel like they were lacking in their spices. Even more salt or something on the asparagus would've helped (and anyone who has cooked knows that adding salt to food after it's cooked is not the same). Our waiter also disappeared for periods of time so we ended up flagging down someone else to ask for a water refill, and then again to pay.

Our last nite in town turned into a great find! Cocktails were delish, the food was spot on. To top off a great nite, they gave us a free dessert to welcome us to Houston. And the staff we so nice. We sat on the patio and enjoyed every sip and every bite!!!

Things started off strong, but devolved into mediocrity quickly. Our Brussels appetizer was significantly charred, but we ate it for two reasons 1) We were super hungry, 2) Our server disappeared and never checked back on us during the appetizer, so we didn't have a chance to return it. I told the server about the charred state of the Brussels and he just chuckled and walked away with the plate. I don't even want to bother to get into too much more detail but the food was not great, my wife's salad was pretty lame to be honest. She loves the salads at Republic Grill and this was definitely not that. Anyway, people seem to like this place based on the reviews but it wasn't for us unfortunately.

Place is awesome atmosphere is excellent service top notch outside seating is great peaceful we had as much as we could from the menu first time gyro for me and it was fabulous the ceviche is definitely a gotta have the girls had pizzas definitely awesome drinks were perfect everyone makes sure your in good shape Thanks for the experience it was perfect c yas soon

Excellent, excellent, excellent... Was in town for work, and figured I'd try local table due to the good reviews I had seen. Man I was not disappointed.. it was a very relaxed and open ambiance, coupled with the nice indoor outdoor bar setting. I did the Anaheim chicken and it was some of the best chicken I've ever had.. the sauce was delectable and that paired with the vegetable medley and rice, was a light and healthy meal. Service was great from the bartender. Add to that, I walked out of there for $30 having 2 beers and an entree. Definitely would recommend.

My girlfriends and I decided to try Local Table after reading so many great reviews about the food and service, and we were not disappointed! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was our server, Payton. Payton went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. She was efficient, knowledgeable, and had the most incredible energy. She took the time to genuinely connect with us, making us feel welcomed and valued. Her recommendation of the lemon pasta was spot on--it was absolutely delicious! It's rare to find a server who not only excels at their job but also creates such a personal and enjoyable experience. Payton is the reason we will definitely be coming back. If you're visiting Local Table, do yourself a favor and ask for her--you won't regret it!

Enjoyed a wonderful Sunday brunch with my mom and sisters. The food was absolutely amazing, service was top-notch and the atmosphere was cozy and warm. I loved "Recovery Burrito" - savory and delicious!

We love this Local Table location. Management has done a great job at hiring great wait staff. We always have great service and have the floor manager (Riley) come by to check on us. They remember who we are and genuinely care about our experience. I love the veggie options - the nutritious bowl, hummus appetizer plate, and market salad are some of my favs! The patio is great for families with children. Keep up the great work, team!!

I love this place. Very affordable family friendly restaurant. All the food is great. The plate of food is always colorful and beautiful as well as delicious and healthy. I'm usually so hungry I forget to take a picture

Went to Local Table on Research Forrest for the second time in a week. Service was outstanding food was excellent my only complaint (and it seems all the new places have this issue) it was extremely loud. Restaurants are putting in tile on the walls and no soft surfaces. That is not enough of an issue for me to stop going through. Just a heads up they add 18% gratuity for parties of six or more. Our server would have done much better allowing us to decide how much to give.

This is a great casual place to enjoy a nice meal. The service is great so is the food. I would suggest the falafel bowl but then the Brussels sprouts and goats cheese was delicious too. Coffee was good and we were spoiled with our request for warm milk on the side!! Next time I am ordering the Mediterranean bowl.

My salad was delicious. I also sampled my son's gyro and my daughter in law's shrimp pasta. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented and flavorful. Our server, Roberto, was knowledgeable, polite, and attentive.

Welcome to The Woodlands Local Table!.... They Nailed It! Have to say ... one of the most versatile and cool restaurants in town. Owners, Managers and Team who sincerely care about their establishment and your experience. Perfect Southern and welcoming indoor and outdoor seating areas for guests of all ages... along with a few yard games and conversation/chilling areas to take it all in. An overall design that's cool, light, open and airy that exudes... stay and enjoy.... And, a diverse and yummalicious menu to please anyone. Ps - how many places have you been to where the Staff actually enjoys being there? Well.. at Local Table... they sure do and it makes a huge difference

Fantastic experience and will 100% be back in the future. The staff is friendly and our server, Gabriel, was polite and attentive. The interior is clean with a modern feel. Outside there is plenty of seating that includes a play place for children...or adults too. I'm not telling anyone how to live their life. For the appetizer, we had the crab cakes and they were light and delicious with a nice spice level. We had the old fashioned and the strawberry spritzer and enjoyed both. For entrees, my lady had the lemon pasta with grilled chicken breast. The chicken was tender and juicy while the pasta itself had a perfectly balanced and fresh lemony taste. While her pasta was delicious, my Mama's meatloaf stole the show. It was topped with a delicious red sauce and served alongside fresh green beans and the most amazing mashed potatoes I've ever had. I often say that mashed potatoes are the most boring version of a potato, but boy did Local table prove me wrong tonight. Overall this is was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I know this place has just opened as isn't too we'll known, but I have no doubt Local Table will have success along with my continued business.

Everyone at Local Table The Woodlands is fabulous! Food is the best, they have a very good selection on the menu! Never disappoints! Our favorite server there is Madie, she's just the best!!!

We sat outside it was a gorgeous patio. Our server was Seth, he did amazing. Really made us feel special, it was our first time here and he recommended his favorite dishes and we got just that! Will definitely be back and will definitely ask for Seth!! The manager even came over and helped us pick out our drinks. Excellent service, great food, will definitely be back!

Wow!! First time to try this place for brunch. Atmosphere is great, food is solid but the service is on another level. Our server(Keira) was excellent and the manager Diana came by the table to welcome us very sincerely as first time guests. What really impresses me is the standards they have here. Clearly the server communicated that it was our first visit to the manager and they have a great process. This level of service in restaurants died many years ago so it is good to see this level of care.
