Nice local place, been here a few times, staff are always friendly. Beer is pretty solid stuff, nice relaxed atmosphere that's family friendly, they have games available.

A nice selection of beer along with some fun barrel aged barley wine and stouts which were pretty good. Definitely a gem in Mankato and must try for craft beer lovers in the cities.

Loved this brewery! As an Asheville, NC native, I have a fairly high bar for breweries and this one hit the mark. I could bring my dog indoors, the staff was knowledgeable about the brews and the beer was some of the best beer I've had. Great spot, will be back for sure!

Great place and Jim the owner was super nice when I asked to host an event. He was very quick with responses and they welcomed us with open arms. Would recommend and will be back.

Cool place, tasty beer. We had all five on the menu and tasted each other's, I'm a BIG fan of the Coneflower hazy ale. Juicy and tart, right up my alley. This place needs some art on the walls, but I can't wait to see it get bigger! Mankato has ALWAYS needed some local brewery competition.

Loved this brewery!! It had the most beer choices that I liked in any brewery I've been to in a long time.

Great local brewery, many options all full of flavor definitely don't plan on have one or two then going home to do housework the best plans go askew. Great atmosphere to sit and have a few and play a couple hands of cards while chatting. Definitely a must stop and try if you're in the neighborhood.

Was in town for the River Valley 100. Event started and finished here. Had a long drive ahead of me so I ordered a 4 pack of the Norselander DDH IPA to go. It's as good a beer as I've ever had. Folks working here were kind and friendly. Tap room is pleasant. Great experience!

Really good beer! Cafe Key City was delicious. We tried a flight of some sours - they were very interesting (and pretty) - always what we're looking for. Will go back next time we're in Mankato!

We've been to Locale many times and although we like it, we never LOVE any of the beers. During my most recent visit I got a flight, and while all the beers were okay, I didn't feel like I needed any more of any of them. I ended up ordering a Stateline which is a farmhouse cream ale, and it was probably my favorite of the 5 I tried. The taproom is small, there is also a very small patio. It has a relaxed vibe as most breweries do.

Nice spot for a local beer. Staying nearby and Locale was within a few blocks walking so decided to try it out. We unknowingly entered through the back door because the two food trucks were hiding the front entrance but, good to know there's multiple ways to get in and out! There is a bar area with seating, tables and a small patio for seating. Lots of options but one thing I noticed was that nearly all seating tables was set up for 4 or more which resulted In a bunch of half used tables inside. So, all the tables were filled but only at a bit over half capacity it seemed. We ordered our sampler at the register and headed outside. Bartender was nice and made a recommendation to help fill out the sampler flight. Total for the sampler was $12 based on the beers I chose so not the cheapest option for drinking but a good way to try a few. Beers were good. Chose two sours, a dark beer and a polish style beer. All unique in their flavor.

This place looked new. Very clean and nice atmosphere. I found a couple beers I liked and stop again for sure. The service was quick and pleasant.

The ambience was just OK for me, but the beers were fantastic! Hibernale and the wheat beer were great. The people and service was great as well.

Greta location. New updated clean inside and out. "HibernAle" Scottish Ale was as advertised...Definitely lived up to the gold medal it received.

I am happy they opened in Mankato. Owners are great people and strive to put out good beer! It's gotten better with time as they've added artwork, outdoor seating, patio, etc. I've enjoyed the IPA's and other hoppy beers they've put out. Usually have different events throughout the week and are rotating new beers in often. No food options, but they have food trucks at times and allow for other food to be brought in! Good place for a beer! Glad they came in to challenge Mankato Brewery
