Locanda al Colle

It was so good last year - we came back again !! The staff are exceptionally warm and accommodating and most speak English. The food is of excellent quality brilliantly executed by GianLucca who truly puts in a lot of time and effort into his menu. The setting is beyond magical and the owner, Riccardo, is an exceptionally witty man with a great eye for styling. The 'hotel' is a home for guests. Its furnished with great care - it's all in the details from Linen sheets > tablecloths/ napkins > polished glassware and the grounds are well cared for....."manicured" is how I would describe it. It's a small establishment and our fellow guests were all wonderfully friendly and smiling. My partner and I are in awe of this place. How the staff and owner have put so much energy to creating the perfect setting for others to enjoy. Are there any negatives? YES !!!! the mosquitoes .... and that's it: Easily remedied. Everything else is faultless.

This is a wonderful hotel, and although it is in lovely surroundings it is the people that really make it special. It starts at the top with Riccardo the urbane, genteel and charming owner and that follows through to Gianluca the wonderful chef and all the other staff. The food is a highlight, basically slightly more complicated “simple” Italian food and we ate in most nights. The beach club available is a dream. Italian beaches tend to be overpacked with sun beds but Bagno Chimera is spacious and welcoming. It is a fantastic complement to the hotel. All in all a wonderful experience with many repeat guests.

Ricardo and his team deliver a world class experience in this boutique space. Absolutely wonderful from the time you step foot on the property until the sad day you must leave. Relaxing, comfortable, private with beautiful surroundings. Beach club short 15 minute easy drive which also delivers five star service and cuisine. Finally, the food that comes out of the kitchen during breakfast and dinner is ABSOLUTELY delectable. If I could give this establishment 6 stars out of 5 I would in a heartbeat!

This place is special and not because of any one thing. It is the perfect combination - a wonderful team who make you feel so welcome and looked after, beautiful bedrooms with quality you would expect in a 5star establishment, and an ambience that is hard to describe. Peaceful, yes, relaxing, yes but with a wealth of experiences available if you want to indulge. Dinner and breakfast were highlights of our stay and tea coffee and cakes available all day should you wish to lie by the pool. The decor is beautiful, eclectic and luxurious at the same time. I could go on but will just say there is nothing I could fault and will definitely return.

A hidden gem with 12 rooms and a very tastefully done property. There are nooks and corners everywhere outside giving you a feeling of space and privacy. Riccardo and his colleagues are professional, friendly and make you feel at home. The meals are delicious and everything is home made. We booked for 2 night and extended for 4 nights. Peace, comfort and elegant simplicity!

Locanda al Colle, in Camaiore, Versilia, Italy, is an amazing place to stay. Guests are warmly welcomed by owner Riccardo and his team. The bedrooms are elegantly furnished and well equipped, with linen sheets on the comfortable beds, and the communal areas are adorned with tasteful artifacts. The food is delicious; special mention given to breakfast, with vast choices. We go back every year for the delightful experience of this stunning hotel.

Locanda al Colle is an amazing and elegant place to stay. Riccardo has done a fantastic job decorating the property. The art and furniture in the rooms and common spaces is so tasteful (and interesting). The breakfast and dinners are delicious. It is truly a small oasis of relaxation- we didn’t even leave the property on a rainy day because it’s so nice to just spend the day there.

We stayed 3 nights at the locanda al Colle and that were the best 3 nights during our trip trough Tuscany.||The house and it’s surrounding are overwhelming. The stuff is more than friendly and welcoming. And the food and the chef and his team were excellent. ||When we arrived, the smell of freshly baked bread was all over the place. Just fantastic! ||||I can highly recommend staying at this cute, little place. How often can you say your trip endet with Prosecco, in a hot tub looking at the sunset?! ;-) ||||Thanks to Riccardo and his team for everything!!
