Quickly becoming one of my favorite places for dining in Brentwood. Great service, excellent menu selections. The food is very good. The wait staff is always kind and inviting. The seafood is fresh. The menu changes often. There is always something new to try. Excellent restaurant downtown.

The food was delicious. The creme truffle sauce was so good. The special spaghetti de mare had shrimp, salmon and octopus. Everyone was so nice and attentive. It was a great experience. We'll be back.

First time eating at Locanda Capri. We dined on the back patio. Our server was attentive and welcoming. We had a large party of 16 for my son's birthday. Food was delicious. Ambience was inviting.

We visited on a Sunday around 5pm. We were a party of 7 and had called in to make a reservation prior. We were quickly accommodated and sat on the patio area. The place is super cute but it was warm outside. They only have one fan, or at least I only saw one so we were a little hot but it wasn't uncomfortable. The service was great! Gio was our server and he was very attentive and friendly. The food was yummy! We ordered a variety of menu items but my favorite dishes were Chicken Marsala and the Lamb! 👌🏼 There's plenty of parking on the street and around the corner.

Upscale Italian cuisine, cool Capri island inspired decor with a large cafe style seating area on the side, a large indoor dining area, and a large covered, open air veranda patio. The atmosphere is fancy. The food was flavorful. This is not a pizza and spaghetti place. They have slow food, meaning the chef has been diligent, creating well thought out menus many days in advance, resulting in tender meat, flavorful deep and rich sauces. The service was super attentive, the water was replenished without our party ever having to look for waitstaff. Prompt food delivery to our table. We were so happy eating here, we even got desserts after our brunch when we usually never do.

Calamari plate was super chewy , shrimp was good on the plate but everything else tasted bland. Drinks were really good food was decent , had a table of 6, we all thought the drinks were great, I got the lasagna (was pretty decent), Service was really good wish the food matched the service and environment in terms of quality. Probably won’t go back because of the pricing and lack of food quality. Nothing the whole table got stood out or nothing to rave about, $370 for 6 people two were kids

Ambience: Went for dinner on a Sunday. Place was busy but service was spectacular! (Thanks to Ali for being great to us that night!) Indoor and outdoor seating available. Decor is adorable & chic. Food: tasted fresh and authentic. Portions are small but enough for an individual. Drinks were on point! Parking: available on the street or nearby lots

Google
This place was incredible. I can't give it 5 stars because you'll probably leave hungry due to the tiny portion sizes. It has an authentic feel. The server/bartender was Italian with a heavy accent. Here's the full experience: Parking is tough. There's only street parking. DTBW might want to consider a parking garage if they want the area to keep growing. Firstly, it is only open for dinner. They dont take reservations right now. I got there about 4:30p and it was already crowded. This wasn't much of an issue as the host was taking names and seating singles or couples at the bar when avail. This is partly an issue because some people were at the bar only to wait for a table. So, it's a missed opportunity for those who want to eat at the bar. I took a seat at the bar because I came alone. I started with a drink recommended by the bartender. It's a visually stunning drink called "Amalfi" - vodka, blackberry puree, pavan and fresh lemon juice. It's strong and tasty. I had 2 of these. I ate the caesar salad as an appetizer. It did not have enough dressing, and I decided not to ask for more. So, I sent this away without finishing it. Nothing special nor were any add ons recommended (Salmon or Chicken). Next I had the most moist, flavorful meatballs ever. Now you're only getting 3, but it's so damn good. It came beautifully garnished and plated. The bread was way too hard to enjoy even after dipping in the sauce. This is by far the best starter to order while waiting on your main dish. The main attraction is their lobster ravioli. This is what you come here for. Again, the portion is Michelin star restaurant size (about 6), but it's a gorgeous plate. You can see how much lobster is inside which is fantastic. It looked like vodka sauce. It also comes with 2 large prawns within the sauce. I'd come back JUST for this dish. I ordered an espresso martini after finishing this, and again it came out looking like a piece of culinary art. This is fairly strong as well. Chocolate and nuts are around the rim. I finished with the chocolate soufflé and vanilla gelato. It was a 5 star version of lava cake with ice cream. I say that with much respect. This was probably the 2nd best thing I had there. Do not leave without trying it. Full transparency, this is really expensive for what you get but it's a great place to take a date or spend some time with anyone special. It was $140 for my meal and drinks above with a 20% tip. The bathroom needs to be remodeled very badly. It's a single person bathroom and woefully inadequate for the nearly 100 people there that day. You dont get free bread or any veggies with the dishes. It's a bit insulting to not include something simple like asparagus or broccolini. customer service 5/5 time to be acknowledged 5/5 time to be seated 5/5 ( albeit at the bar ) quality 5/5 return value 2/5

Yelp
Nice restaurant with good service, although the waiter mistaken my daughter's order for mushroom ravioli vs lobster (and my daughter hates mushroom). Yes, it was fixed and she got the lobster which she said was good. My branzino was good as well! The pea sauce was great. Yes, we will come back. Italian restaurants tend to fail in our area, yet this one has been opened for a while, not very ling I think but still in years. Maybe it's the distance that we didn't try to eat here sooner. Yet, I could understand why it still stands. The decor is nice and clean. The ambiance overall is welcoming.

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday as a party of 5, 3 adults, 2 young kids - for a birthday dinner. The service was so sweet. We were greeted immediately and showed our table. We were well taken care of, everyone was so kind and genuinely happy, it made for a pleasant experience. The host, our waiter, all the service members are very kind wearing big smiles and happy to make sure you're enjoying your time there. I ordered a glass of their house red wine, that was so delicious and paired well with everything we ordered! Food: we ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it was delicious. Would order again. I ordered the lobster and asparagus ravioli, it was OK. I would not order again. We also ordered both the specials, which were the ribeye steak, which was served on a bed of French fries & the blackened salmon, which was served with roasted vegetables. Both the Steak and the Salmon were delicious. The Salmon was on the spicy side (which I loved, but just forewarning). I gave 5 stars because the service was unmatched and their house wine was so good. We will absolutely visit again. Plus they were really sweet to our kids, which is always an extra star in my book!

Yelp
Family Christmas dinner time! This place was chosen by my older sister who lives nearby and knows I like good food and even BETTER drinks! Firts and foremost, the parking situation sucks in this area of the town. There is no designated parking so it's street parking for sure. We were here on a busy night and my experience should reflect that is not the establishments fault at all but I mention it as a warning. Entering the business front doors is the service desk immediately to the right, hostess was more than eager to assist and accomodate us. After a mis-hap where we said six and quickly realized we had a 7th the hostess assured us that it's fine which was great! Of course by this point, I found a seasonal drink menu and was not a part of that conversation. I was planning my next 6 moves already! We were seated fairly quickly once the headcount tally was done. Offered water before being able to take off my coat. Our server was a regular with which my sister says is the reason she continues to come here and I see why! This guy was a wholesome dude, very charming and funny af too! I asked my normal question which was; "How many drinks can I order at once" He laughed.... then dead faced.... I was serious bro! I order 2 drinks off the seasonal menu. First was the Tiramigiu! A very coffee oriented drink decorated with a Lady Finger. Incase you didn't make the connection to the dessert dish called Tiramisu then this is the liquid version of that dessert. I must say as someone who isn't a fan of Tiramisu the Tiramigiu drink is something I can have more of! Second drink was the Biscotti! This is by far my favorite drink of the night, the visual presentation and drink itself was just a delightfully sweet but also strong kick in the teeth! Decorated with sprinkled cake frosting on the rim. I shard the frosting with my 6 year old niece... don't worry, no alcohol reached her lips. The next few drinks were all based on the type of alcohol it was mixed with, I knew my flavors and lean towards safe but also like to experiment with new experiences. The 24K which was a Mezcal mixed drink was a solid drink, I think I hesistated at first because it was decorated with what I would eventually find out was a dissolvable and edible gold aluminum topping. I love most tequila's so once the hesitation disappeared..... so did the drink haha! The Anguria! My second favorite drink of the night! Probably because it was the fruitiest! Garnished with a mint clove and a slice of watermelon this drink was a great in between to flush flavors out! I only wish I had more! It's a refresher, thats what I call drinks like this! easy in and easy out, gone before you know it! The Amalfi! Takes 3rd place for my top 3 of the evening.... Again... a fruity drink, garnished with a blackberry and dried grapfruit slice. The drink wasn't as sweet as the Anguria, carried a bit harder of a kick but also what I would call a refrsher drink. Lastly, if you've read my reviews before then you've heard or seen me say this before. Martini's are my MORTAL ENEMY! NUTELLA MARTINI! LOL! So, this drink is why we were here outside of the wonderful company and service.... and of course food. My older sister and my mother loved Nutella, hell my entire family loves Nutella.... we are Italian afterall so of course I cannot pass on the chance to try a drink so inspired by my families dirty addiction! I LOVE that is was Nutella for the 2 seconds before the Martini kicked in! Hahaha! it's a solid drink for sure but me, myself I can never, EVER reccomend a Martini... Mortal.... ENEMIES! Foreal though, all jokes aside, the drink was not a dissapointment and I highly reccomend it. It's on the smoother side of Martini's in my opinion but still as strong as they are but flavorful as hell! Lastly, I did have food! I ordered the Ragu Nepoletano. Needless to say I'm not big on pasta, I am Italian and I don't like pasta! It's in my profile, hate me and call me a criminal to be Italian. I was raised by my Noni so my tastes are very picky. There's one Italian restaurant I can say has capture her memory in the form of food. Now I can say there is two! Locandi Capri is the closest I have come to tasting my late Noni's home made red meat gravy! That Ragu Nepoletano has solidfied my eventual return to this establishment! No worries, I was returning anyways because I have to finish the drink menu up, but now I am curious to try other food dishes. Hats off to you guys! Thank you for a wonderful experience from my family to yours!

Yelp
Was craving for Italian cuisine and stumbled upon this gem in Downtown Brentwood. I really wanted to try their squid ink pasta but apparently this is only available for dinner. But the Ravioli Tartufo didn't disappoint. The aroma of the truffle permeated the air as soon as it was set on our table. The branzino was perfectly cooked, moist and flavorful. The chicken Marsala was balanced. I'm curious how their dinner menu is. Their wait staff is knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely will be coming back for more!

Yelp
This is the best Italian restaurant in the area. We've come a a few times and it's always good. The food quality and presentation are great. Service has always been friendly and efficient. It's always been busy so reservations are recommended. The ambiance is elevated casual. They have pretty murals and a cool outdoor seating area. Although we haven't sat out there yet) The risotto I had on special was the best I've had in a restaurant. Their gelato is also the closest to what we had in Italy that I've found. This is a great place for date night or a celebration. Overall we love having this place so close to home.

Marlee B.

Yelp
Downtown Brentwood you'll find this little quaint Italian place. Arancini! Although it's an appetizer, I wanted to make it my meal because they were fresh, the cheese still gushing and delicious. The Branzino was flavorful and the service felt like they cared.

Yelp
Celebrating a very belated 5-0 for a dear friend/coworker. I easily made a reservation on OpenTable for a Thursday evening. We were asked a couple times (host and server) if we were celebrating a b-day/whose b-day it was. Love that acknowledgement and detail. We did get a candle and a "Happy birthday" song in Italian with our order of tiramisu (which was light and creamy and yummy). My Amalfi drink needed more liquid, less crushed ice as you can see from the pic. What I had was delicious though. I loved my fiori de zucca and even though we shared it amongst the group, I wish I had the whole thing to myself. The brussels sprouts were also really crispy and bacon-y. Definitely the starters shined brighter than the entrees. I ordered the lobster ravioli, which was ok. The two shrimp that were on top were juicy and cooked perfectly. I tried a bite of the bday girl's lasagne and it needed salt. Pretty flavorless, which was surprising. Complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal for all. Cheers! The inside dining area and the outdoor patio area are super cute. Very "Instagrammable".

Yelp
Ok so came here for Fathers Day, we were sat near the front door so let me tell you if you are seated here "THERE WILL BE FLIES" all over the place! And it gets annoying after while! I mean such a good atmosphere spoiled by pesky flies constantly landing on your table! Our waiter was great and even mentioned how the flies get I. The way. Now to the food: Focaccia bread: 10 out of 10 I do recommend! Warm toasted with the olive spread or without mist get! Pear Salad: Eh! I'm not a butter lettuce fan so strike one. I've had an apple salad and that was amazing, this it was ok 6 out of 10. The salad dressing, pecans, cranberries was the highlight. The calamari mix appetizer was basic. 5 out of 10. Now to the meals. It was 7 of us three for the ribeye three got the lamb. The lamb looked good I didn't taste it. The ribeye was served on a bed of French fries, I tried my daughter (medium rare) it was tasty. I wouldn't order it for want nothing but the best with my steaks, and this one was decent. Now my meal. I had the short rib! It was served on top of polenta. Now I enjoyed my meal. The polenta tasted like a mix between grits and mashed potatoes and with the mushroom gravy mixture and short rib it was on point. The short rib was a tad bit tough but it was really good! I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. Oh and for desert! I went with the lemon cake! And it was amazing! 9 out of 10!

Yelp
First visit to Locanda Capri, and it was an outstanding experience. The food was exceptional, and our waiter, Giulio, provided excellent service. The arancini was delicious, and the atmosphere made for a perfect dinner date with my partner. Highly recommend the 24k drink

Yelp
Food was delicious. Service was great. Very cute little spot in Downtown Brentwood. We will be back.

Yelp
Last night was the 3rd time eating here. The two previous occasions the food and service were both good, as well as the prices. Went last night, Xmas Eve, at 5:15. Restaurant was not busy at that time. Seated immediately as we had reservations. Waiter, who has been our waiter the two previous occasions was not as friendly. Maybe because it was xmas eve. We ordered the Octopus Salad and was told it was grilled. The Octopus was poached and maybe seared for color, and served cold. Definitely not grilled. For the entrée, we ordered short ribs and the 10oz pork chop. Short ribs were $35, the pork chop was $39. The polenta on the ribs plate was undercooked and grainy. The pork chop was definitely not 10oz before it was cooked, maybe, 6 to 7 oz. The pork chop was extremely overcooked, the mashed garlic potatoes were undercooked with raw chunks of garlic. I did not eat the pork chop. I told the waiter, nothing done, did not offer to recook or discount the check. I paid, and gave a 22% tip as it was Xmas eve. I will definitely ask for the manager next time and be very clear about how I expect my meal if we go again. I'm hoping it was just an off night for the cook and staff.

Brittne A.

Yelp
Today was my first time at Locanda and definitely won't be the last. Everything was exceptional service, drinks, and food 10/10. I will be back on Sunday for the Prime rib special recommended by my wonderful waiter Angelo

Pattie C.

Yelp
More entry variety on the menu would be nice. Offer specials for holidays like Valentine's Day. Food is ok.

AMANDA L.

Yelp
I am a local in Brentwood and have been dying to come here. I was celebrating for my Birthday and noticed it was open, so I checked out the sparkling wine and champagne list. There was a gentleman inside who was accommodating about if we wanted to sit in our outside. He was determined to make it work and I appreciated that. The waiters are all very handsome by the way lol. We ended up sitting out in the patio and I couldn't ask for more. It was beautiful people, food and ambiance. Check this place out and buy a bottle

Yelp
This was our second visit. Our daughter and son-in-law wanted to come here because they couldn't stop thinking about the desserts we had on our first visit. I had the Pollo Marsala. The chicken was tender and the flavor was just delicious. I rarely order Marsala because I usually don't like the flavor profile. This one is a definite re-order for me. Hubby had the Alaskan Halibut. It came with a good amount of vegetables. He said it was very good. He had the Sea Bass on the previous visit. Daughter had the Gnocchi. It was cheesy and cooked perfectly. Son-in-law had the special: lamb w/Chimichurri sauce. It also came with a good amount of vegetables. It, too, was very good. We re-ordered our favorite desserts: Crème Brûlée, Chocolate Soufflé & Limoncello Cake. Service was very good. We got the same waiter as before (sorry can't remember his name). We were seated at the best table (corner left by the window). This is in the front dining area. The restaurant is L shaped. The other indoor dining area is in front of the bar. They also have outdoor dining in the back of the restaurant and a smaller area in the front. The ambiance is cheerful. It is decorated in orange, blue and a big mural of a bay with sailboats. It got pretty noisy in our dining area. There was a big group in the restaurant, and they were quite loud! I was a bit annoyed by them. Anyhow, the food and service were excellent, and we left very satisfied! Special Note: Our SiL is highly allergic to tree nuts. The server and kitchen were careful to make sure his food was safe. The server also offered us free Limoncello shots to celebrate the two birthdays.

Maria M.

Yelp
When you first walk in, there's a bar straight ahead and then to your left there's an indoor dining area and an out door dinning area. It also looks like past the bar to the back there is a bigger, outdoor dining area, to accommodate bigger parties. Our server Daniela was quite amazing. She spoke italian and also explain the history of the restaurant, and the area in Italy that they're from. She was friendly, professional, and attentive. I had her recommend an Italian wine and I loved it so much I bought a bottle, to take home. The food was so tasty, flavorful, authentic homemade Italian food. The dessert was such a treat, delicious and the cappuccino was so good!! If you guys are ever in Brentwood downtown area, you have to go try this place you will not be disappointed !! I will be back to try the other dishes

Yelp
My wife and I celebrated our birthdays with our family on a bustling Friday night at downtown Brentwood at Locanda Capri. They were very friendly and accommodating to our party of ten. The restaurant was very much packed from the time we arrived at an early dinner of 6pm. The bar filled every seat and the tables were a beehive of patrons coming in and out. It was very lively and loud. Just a few moments, our server came and took our drinks. Locanda Capri sits were the former Sweeny's used to be. We ordered a slew of their offerings. For appetizers, we had their Fritto Misto, Fiori Di Zucca, and Focaccia bread. The Fritto Misto was delicious, especially the Capri sauce that came with it. Although I do wish that they went away with the prawns and just had the calamari in their Fritto. The Fiori Di Zucca was good as well. Although the Focaccia bread was just alright, I do like the accompanying olive tapenade very much. For out main entre, I had their Ravioli All'Aragosta while my wife had their Nero Di Mare. The kids had their Spaghetti Meatballs. I would say that the ravioli was top notch. The pink sauce is deliciously subtle and the lobster taste is prominent in the filling. I tried a bite of my wife's Nero Di Mare and it was just the same with my dish, delicious. She did comment that all the seafood on her plate was properly cooked. The clams were soft and tender and the same goes to the prawns which is difficult as there are many different types and shapes of seafood protein at hand. Our kids spaghetti was good as well, having I distinct but all well delicious meatballs and and perfect al dente pasta. We ended out meal with Limoncello cake, Capri Chocolate cake, and Tiramisu. All of our dessert was good as well, myself liking the tartness of the lemon cake as cleanses my palette form a good dinner. If there is any critique with this restaurant, the portions is almost underwhelming and the price is a bit on the steep side. Overall, we had a good time here at Locanda Capri.

Kai M.

Yelp
I love the ambience in the outside area. It's closed in but feels like outside. Staff are attentive. Food is served quickly. I like the size of the menu, not super big. The short ribs with polenta were really good. The steak special was also very good. While the salad was overdressed, it was still very crisp and flavorful. I could eat that as an entree with salmon or chicken next time. No complaints!

Christina L.

Yelp
i was was treated to a birthday dinner @locanda.capri and i already want to go back! i loved the atmosphere, the service, and my pasta was so delicious. the ragu sauce reminded me of a traditional sunday sauce with italian sausage, short rib, and meatballs. you can also tell that the pasta is made fresh. the cocktail was also so refreshing and strong at the same time. it was really cool that they also gave us free limoncello shots at the end of the meal. i definitely would come back here for dinner and even try the brunch. what a great addition to the downtown. what we ordered: focaccia with olive tapenade ravioli all'aragosta strozzapreti ragu napoletano marechiaro house chardonnay

Yelp
Came in with a group of 4 about 30 minutes after dinner opening on a Tuesday and seated inside. What a cute spot! Reminds me of something that would be in Vegas LOL our waiter was very thorough and quick. I got a fruit spritz that was great. Decided to order the summer ravioli menu item - from what I can remember, it had mushrooms and butternut squash and was in a great (brown butter?) sauce. Received about 10 small raviolis and would've loved more, esp since that equated to about $2.50/ravioli. We also got an order of bread for the table, which was 3 small pieces. I've been to other Italian places with similar price points and feel like I've been more satisfied with what I received. Food was good, just not enough for the price but was a fine experience!

Yelp
Sorprendente (amazing) Delizioso (delicious) New Restaurant I was looking forward to dinner here and it did NOT disappoint!! Great to have this restaurant here in Brentwood Authentic Italian food, simple menu (I hate menus that are more than 2 pages) , custom cocktails, & desserts. Everything was so good!!! 1- service was 10/10. For how busy they were, there was always someone stopping by offering water, checking on you, GM (Sebastian and Emanuel) making sure food was served and casually talking with tables. Our server, Francesco was great!! Be expecting to wait 30-60 min if you are not there when it opens. Worth the wait! 2- food was 10/10. Served quickly, and hot! Every bite was flavorful . You are not getting oversized "American" sized portions. 3- ambience- 10/10. Maybe it was because the people who work there are actually from Italy or Venezuela. But the culture and the dynamic they brought inside the restaurant added to the ambience. Loved hearing so many people speak Italian. @locanda.capri you have done a great job!! We ordered the Focaccia bread with olive spread, Fried zucchini wrapped with mozzarella cheese served on marinara & Shared the lasagna. 2 glasses of wine for $95 Can't wait to go back!!! #pasta #italianfood #newrestaurant

Yelp
This is prob the 3rd time at this restaurant. We were sat next to a party with what I thought - I felt like we were at Chuck E. Cheese - huge party w like 6 little kids and they they parents weren't even paying attention to. I thought I couldn't least relax and have a quiet dinner . But no

Yelp
Opened on Wednesday, Dec 20th, I came in on Thursday for dinner. If you've tried their other locations then you know what Locanda is about. Food is excellent (chefs kiss). House made sauces, fresh and quality ingredients, fresh made pastas, and excellent service. The space is warm and inviting. Lots of color and of course pictures of beautiful Capri line the back wall of the main dining area. Cute bar with well crafted cocktails. I felt like I was transported back to my first trip to Capri. Loved all the little details that makes the space feel like you're in Italy. I started with the Amalfi cocktail...was excellent! Light and refreshing with a sublet sweetness from the fresh blackberry purée. The dough for their flatbreads are from heaven. Literal pillows of perfectly cooked flatbread. Crispy at the edges and perfect chewy throughout. The San Daniele had copious amounts of prosciutto, fresh arugula and mozzarella, topped off with shaved parm. (Chefs kiss) The pappardelle bolognese was al dente, covered in fresh made ragú with chunks of tender meat, topped with fresh basil...perfection. Finishers were their tiramisu in a cup which was devine, and had to have the limoncello cake...well because it's Capri. Both were the amazing! Compliments of the owners...a caramelo shot. Grazie!

Yelp
Service was great and we were seated right away even though it was busy inside. Our server was friendly and provided recommends. Lovely ambiance and decor inside. I loved their eggplant Parmesan, stuffed zucchini flowers, gnocchi and chocolate soufflé- absolutely stunning 10/10. Tiramisu was good but small portion 8/10 Arancini left us wanting for some flavor inside. There was lack of any seasoning what so ever but they were well fried and stuffed with cheese -6/10 Linguini was so bland that it was unbelievable, no salt even- we sent it back, and to their merit they discounted it. Will certainly let go back and try more vegetarian items and cappuccino.

Yelp
Reserving a table: I'm sad I have to lower my stars. I was happy to get a table, but it was a little stressful. I was able to book a table for 6 people on Open Table for birthday, but they do not allow you to book for more than that. So I called a few times and left a voicemail and a message online. I didn't hear back from the restaurant directly, but they did send a confirmation the day before that they reserved a table for 9 so that was good. I stressed a little a few days before not knowing if I should cancel, find another restaurant or go down there after 4 pm, but it all turned out okay. They do make you reserve with a credit card. The service: I guess I expected the same level of service as when this location first opened, but it's understandable that it might fall off a bit. Our server was nice but I got a general lack luster vibe from the staff here, but have been to other locations where the staff has been amazing. The food: That said, I could have sworn I had the meatballs the first time and it was a good portion. This time it was three much smaller meatballs. Experience It got a little busier but we were some of the first in the restaurant and I don't know...It wasn't any "one thing" that made the experience "less than", just an overall disappointment. They forgot my friend's wine, and we had to go to ask for it. My other friend didn't get what she wanted. She ordered ragu and the waiter said he put down branzino. They don't even sound alike, so not sure what happened there. We had a few people in my party that were new to the restaurant so I was hoping they'd love it like I initially did, but not so much. I'm not usually a complainer...it takes quite a bit so I hope this was a one time thing because it was a Tuesday.

Yelp
Ambiance is fantastic. Energetic and fun. The outdoor area is beautiful. Great for a date night, celebration or girls night. The food is pretty good. Standouts are the steak, braised short ribs, gnocchi and they have such fun drinks. The Nutella martini and locanda are favorites. They also have brunch which is nice especially in the patio. Service is always terrific. Friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Our server was attentive and great. Never had to wait or ask for water. Our apps came out quickly and were tasty. The branzino was seasoned well and had a crispy skin. Lasagne was cheesy and delicious. We sat inside because it was a hot day but took a look at the patio. The patio is beautiful!!!! I could see myself coming back for a nightcap and sitting at the outside bar. We will definately return.

Yelp
Locanda Capri Italian restaurant is a fairly new restaurant in Brentwood. The previous restaurant at this location, Sweeney, was a very popular eatery in Brentwood for over 2 decades. Locanda Capri serves authentic Italian cuisine with certain cheeses and ingredients imported from Italy. The service was excellent. Brittany, our server, was very friendly and helpful answering questions regarding menu selections. She made us feel very comfortable durning our dining experience. There is indoor, and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is in front of the restaurant, and there is semi-outdoor seating in the back of the restaurant. The backside semi-outdoor seating was renovated. There is a comfortable fireplace lounge where you can have a beverage and chat with your friends while waiting for your table for dining, or to just lounge and have a drink. During the winter months and colder days, there are huge over head heaters to keep patrons warm and comfortable. Ravioli di Aragosta - 5/5 The ravioli is stuffed with Maine lobster and asparagus, topped with Tiger prawns. The pink sauce was very savory, not heavy, with a good balance of acidity. This is a very good selection if you're craving a ravioli dish. Brasato - 5/5 This non-pasta selection was outstanding. Brasato is boneless short rib with mushroom sauce over a bed of polenta. The boneless short rib was soft, very delicious and tender. The mushroom sauce is very flavorful, and went well with the short rib. The polenta was soft, not too sweet, and blended well with the mushroom sauce and short rib. I would order this dish again! Overall, our dining experience at Locanda Capri was excellent. The service was great, and the food presentation and quality was on point. I recommend giving Locanda Capri restaurant a visit if you're in Brentwood.

Yelp
Absolute jem! Went here for team dinner and so amazing. Bravo to Brittany who was incredibly talented and helpful in the whole planning of our event. Sebastian was truly a bonus for the extra help to welcome us in and bring us to the back patio where our gathering was pleasantly decorated for our group. Bigger bonus, the heaters to keep us comfortable! Beverages were delightful and tasty! Winter salad was spectacular and Branzino was on point! We all left filled and happy! Bravo to the entire team and again Brittany was an excellent host. Would be fun to return for date night

Yelp
The ambiance and service here are phenomenal. The restaurant is easily the best-looking restaurant in Brentwood. The owners obviously spent alot of time and money to create a truly special restaurant. These are the types of restaurants we need in Brentwood. We found the service to be top-notch. The servers were all super friendly and showed a genuine interest in our experience. The good was good. It wasn't incredible, but it was pretty good. The wine was extremely good.

Yelp
We just had an amazing dinner here! It was a Friday night and they were hopping! Highly recommend reservations. All the food was amazing! We had the stuffed squash blossoms and the arancini (this would have been better with the flavorful Marinating sauce though). Then we had the gnocchi (awesome and big serving!), lobster ravioli (delish) and short ribs with polenta (so delish). We had the limoncello cake and tiramisu for dessert! The cocktails were awesome before dinner. The service was efficient and charming. The ambiance was beautiful! We will definitely be back!!!

Yelp
The food here is really good and normally the service is great too, but tonight the service wasn't. We didn't get any service. We checked in with the host and were seated right away, which was great. After being seated, we were sitting, just waiting for our server. 10-12 minutes pass by and another couple gets seated next to us. I said to my wife, "if the server greets them first, we are leaving." The server greeted them within a minute of sitting and took their drink orders. We got up and walked out the restaurant. The server, which might have been ours, stared as we walked out. The food here is great, so we will give it another shot one day.

Yelp
I came for dinner last night and in this economy, I'm disappointed to had paid $80 on a meal I did not enjoy. The tab was more, that was just my portion. The waiter never offered us complimentary bread, took our full order at once, so when he offered to take our appetizers way with plenty of food still on it, I thought our entrees were ready. But they weren't, we waited another 20 min at a bare table. We could have been eating the rest of our appetizers. We ordered the Fritti Misti- very greasy, Greek salad, pretty good. Chicken Marsala, my friend said the sauce was too greasy. But the biggest disappointment was the Branzino. It looked nothing like what I saw on the pictures or its description on the menu. They were very small overcooked filets covered in red sauce. Why?! Why would you take a fresh fish and cover it in red sauce. There were no veggies on my plate as described on the menu, just two very small, overcooked filets with a spoonful of garlic mashed potatoes with hard chunks inside. (I had them substituted for the roasted potatoes). So the potatoes were undercooked and the fish was overcooked and I suppose they tried to cover it up with tomato sauce. I feel robbed honestly. Huge disappointment. I love Italian cuisine. I often visit original joes on westlake, Doppio Zero, I was at Little original joes in the Marina district the week before last. Even Cheesecake Factory had better food! Smh, that's a shame.

Yelp
Truffle pasta was great, service was nice. I'd recommend the outside seating in the back.

Yelp
We've dined here a bunch of times from brunch time, dinner, random lunch and I must say, and hate to say it really, that the quality of food has gone down tremendously. Twice on separate occasions, on a Friday and Sunday evening, we were seated quickly, order was placed and food came out very quickly. But unfortunately my husband's lasagna was cold. Second time I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and that was also cold, plate warm. It's disappointing but I guess they're trying to keep up with demand. Also there's a weird smell in resto, I'm guessing it's from the bathroom as they are weirdly placed in restaurant.

Yelp
We went for the first time this Friday 04/05/24. The waiter (Berto or Beto?) was awesome. Very entertaining and took his time to explain menu items to us. It was crazy busy and loud all night. But service and food was quick. We had the pear salad, which was so great and fresh that we bought our own items, to try to make it for ourselves this weekend. The focaccia and olive tapenade was also great. My wife ordered the Pollo Marsala and it was the best she's ever had she said. The chicken breast and mushrooms were delicious and the wine sauce and potatoes was great. I ordered the Brasato which was stellar. It's a braised beef short rib over polenta. Absolutely fork tender, delicious and a good sized portion. I would absolutely order this again as it was so delicious. Price is fair, a little spendy, but still fair. It really is a great restaurant. I hope they stick around for a long time. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I was there with a large group. We tried many items on the menu. Group feedback. Location is excellent. Service was exceptional. Ambiance very good. Food - ok. Reports from my group: The calamari and focaccia were good. The steak was ok but the potatoes were excellent. The lobster ravioli was very good. The salmon was uncooked in the center and was served on top of large spears of undercooked heirloom carrots that were so hard they couldn't be eaten. The lasagna was good. The gnocchi was a little bland but ok. The ragu was excellent. The staff and ambiance were very nice and this new Brentwood location for this restaurant chain has potential. I'll go back and try it again.

Yelp
My experience here was absolutely AMAZING. Firstly, the decoration and vibe of the place is beautiful, especially the back patio. It's extremely visually pleasing and elevates the whole dining experience. For the drinks, I had a virgin piña colada and let me tell you; it's DANGEROUSLY GOOD. I got brain freeze from trying to sip it too fast, I would have ordered many more if I wasn't trying to save room for my meal. Speaking of the meal, I had some DELICIOUS seafood pasta. The service was great, our waiter was super friendly and accommodating. Great place and will definitely go again!

Yelp
We have been back there a couple times since my last write-up and this time a bunch of us went back on Wednesday evening to celebrate our birthdays and anniversary which all occurred around the same time. The food as always was great, the service excellent and the wine and mixed drinks were superb. They brought out a dish of ice cream for each birthday person with a candle and sang happy birthday to us. A really fun time. The place has a nice cozy feeling with a well appointed interior. Great place to have a party and some fun!

Yelp
We went to Oak Street with our English cocker spaniel, Zoey, to try a certain restaurant with an outdoor patio, but I was told they allowed only service dogs. So, we walked down the street and found Locanda Capri. We were greeted as we perused the posted menu and assured that our Zoey was welcome. So, we sat at a shaded table and the server, Daniela, treated us well. We split the pear salad, which was quite good. My husband had the lasagna and I had the ravioli in pink (tomato cream) sauce, and we both finished our entrees; they were very good! It was an excellent choice, and we would like to return and try the lemon cake!

Yelp
I came here with some friends for a super early dinner. Table for 5 adults and 1 kid (5 years old) at 4:30 pm. There was seating available and we got seated right away. We got seated in the corner with a round table & 5 seats. We had to pull another seat from another table since you know, we have 6 bodies overall. They charge an extra 3% for employee benefits & they charge gratuity for 6 people.

Yelp
The best thing to happen to Brentwood! Incredibly delish, fresh food. Top notch staff and a gorgeous setting. I took my parents and brother there on a Wednesday evening and everything was superb. Took my son there to celebrate his birthday and they sang for him and had a candle in a dessert for him to make a wish. I also took my ladies there after paddle boarding on a Sunday for brunch. Everything was delicious, fresh and fast.

Yelp
Friendly service and cute ambience and patio area. Some dishes are advertised with flowers but don't expect that. You have to ask for bread, they don't offer otherwise. My ravioli dish was warm, not hot. The flavor wasn't impressive. My bf had lasagna and they burned part of his dish. Ordered dessert and it was cute representation but flavor left me disappointed. Overall I expected a better tasting restaurant experience. Will most likely not return, you can go for ambience just don't expect great flavor.

Erika H.

Yelp
Enjoyed celebrating my birthday here. Great service and the food was delicious. Great location in downtown Brentwood with a lot of seating inside and outside.

Yelp
Second time trying this place, just as good as the first! This time I tried the ragu napoletano and it was delicious. Nice tender chunks of beef as well as meatballs on top of fresh pasta amazing flavor! Arancini appetizer was just as good as last time - nice and crispy outside and cheesey inside. Tried the limoniamo drink this time around and it had a great raspberry flavor without being too strong. We ordered the Capri chocolate cake for my son's birthday and the waiters came out singing to him, which was a nice touch. The adults got some complimentary limoncello which I enjoyed

Yelp
The food was great!! The place is also nice and clean. The Branzino was crispy, the lobster ravioli tastes great!

Yelp
Yummy! From the Italian wines to appetizer & salad to our mains coupled with our attentive water & servers, Ali & Mario (I didn't get the gal's name who kept refilling our water & taking our plates. 100% This is our 2nd time here & it didn't disappoint. Moved to Disco Bay a little over a couple years ago. It's nice to have a local restaurant that has the feel & authentic taste of Italy. Check out our pics... This has become our "go to" place. Highly recommend.
