Good tasty food and really nice service. You really feel welcome!

A great experience of dining in a middle of the mountains and valley. We were a group of 11 people with a menu pre ordered, fish and it was amazing. Typically when you are in the mountains you expect meat polenta and cheese but this restaurant served fish which was absolutely fresh and tasted awesome. The ambience was quite elegant and the service extremely good.

we spend a family skiiing holiday in Carona and stayed in small hotel Locanda. great staff including owners were extremely friendly and helpfull and ready to do whatever is your wish. very cosy wooden style rooms where you can even regulate the temperature by yourself are a little small but OK. we stayed for 7 nights in 3-bed room with a lake view. Chef Igor is the master. his cuisine is an excellent combination of stylish and simple italian food. we would like to go back again and booked the room for 2018 skiing vacation already - whole week again! Many thanks again guys and see you soon...we are looking forward to come again!

We spent 4 nights in Locanda last week on a ski trip, and we were really impressed. Loredana and Igor made us feel really at home- nothing was too much hassle. They collected us from the airport and dropped us back and they even brought us to the slopes (5 mins walk) on the first day. The food was fantastic each evening. The bedroom was small but comfortable and the bathroom had a nice powerful shower. ||All in all we had a wonderful stay, we are so happy that we found this hotel and beautiful village of Carona! We will be back!

we returned to our very well known place for our ski vaccation. the restaurant was even incuded in the Michelin Guide. Loredana and Igor doing still their best to satisfy the guest. apartment was nice, cosy and clean. food was great...

We had a wonderful 5 night stay in La Locanda last week. Loredana and Igor and the staff looked after us so well. We enjoyed 2 days skiing and 2 days walking but most of all we enjoyed the excellent food and hospitality - such a warm and friendly place to stay. We would highly recommend this hotel and we look forward to seeing Loredana and Igor on our return visit.

A great place for quiet holidays - we spent there a skiing week. We liked everything - our room, cosy and comfortable although not too big, fancy dinners, and breakfasts with a good choice of everything you need for a good start into a day, and ABOVE ALL Loredana and Igor - friendly managers of Locanda, very helpful, smiling and making you feel like home or like a family member :).

The whole experience was superb from start to finish. Loredana and Igor bent over backwards to make our stay perfect from picking us up from the airport to arranging ski fire/lift passes etc. The food and hospitality was 10 out of 10.
