Locanda Del Feudo

We loved our stay at Locanda del Feudo. Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) stayed at this quaint hotel in December 2024. We had two suites and it worked will as everyone had their own bed. The staff was super helpful before and during the trip; finding us a place for lunch on the way there, arranging a Parmesan tour, a balsamic vinegar tour and serving two wonderful dinners to us in their restaurant. We ate tons of food when in Italy and the meal at this little inn is the one everyone in the family brings up as the best. The town was fun to explore and we enjoyed the proximity to other great things to do (Modena, Maranello, etc). I highly recommend Locanda del Feudo!

Great stay! The staff was wonderful and very helpful! Food at breakfast was wonderful, especially the fresh squeezed orange juice The town that the hotel is located in is breathtaking! Right next to the clock tower, there’s an amazing view overlooking the city. We saw it after sunset, it was gorgeous! We wished we would have seen it as the sun was setting! Highly recommend staying here, we will be back some day!

The hotel is in a perfect location to stroll the medieval streets. The rooms are very stylish and comfortable. The hospitality was over the top wonderful. As was the food. Thank you for a memorable stay!

We had a wonderful lunch, with amazing, kind and professional service. Our Sommelier Andrea Made a recommendation of the best sparkling wine, and our gracious waitress Greta made sure that we were comfortable at all times. It was truly one of the best lunch experiences we have ever had. We would love to come back many times. I highly recommend a stop if you are anywhere nearby. In fact, a special trip would be very much worthwhile. The ambience and surroundings are relaxing and the food is outstanding.

Perfect place to stay in the charming village of Castelvetro. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, parking was a short walk away, and the food at the restaurant was amazing - one of the best dinners we had in Italy. The staff were also terrific, especially Andrea, who gave us great advice on a nearby hiking trail, great food and wine recommendations during dinner, and when we told him the next stop on our trip was Bologna he gave us a recommendation for one of his favourite restaurants there and it did not disappoint. We had debated about staying the weekend here or in Modena and are so glad we chose here, it's really a great base for exploring the region, with wineries, balsamic producers, and the Ferrari museums all within easy driving distance.

The service was excellent and very accommodating. Eduardo was very helpful with late check-in and helping me find a taxi - the only one within miles of the tucked away location. Good location and walking distance to explore around.

Another great stay. I love this place. Rooms are super. Location is great. ||I hired a car from the airport and it took about 30 minutes to get to the hotel. Big car park at the end. ||Rooms are spacious air conditioned and well appointed. There are restaurants in the area as well as a shop in the village below for you every day items.||Separate spacious bedroom. Shower room and living room.||Breakfast is from 8am although you can ask for an earlier start if required. Great location, beautiful house. The rooms are large and clean, but not immaculate. The food is exceptional with a very talented chef. The checkout experience was overshadowed by an uncomfortable situation caused by the proprietor and them questioning whether a bill was paid the night before. Apart from that: highly recommended!
