Great experience, quality cured meat and to-return-for melting lard (yes, awesome, creamy lard) on polenta. Pickled vegetables and sublime mustard apple side that helps clean the palate. Fantastic pasta fresca - bounciest I've had so far in Italy (they're usually a little semi soggy somehow). Large portions. Not too sure about the shared bread basket though, considering the times. Definitely worth coming by if close to Mantova!
