"Located inside the hotel of the same name, Venice Venice could probably get away with serving mediocre pasta, since the location on the Grand Canal and the view of the Rialto Bridge is so good. But they very much did not phone it in—there’s an impressive crudo-of-the-day plate and pastas like clam ravioli that’s stuffed with ricotta and native-to-the-region erbe di campo greens. We like it best for dinner, but it’s also worth stopping by from 6-8pm for a sort of aperitivo hour, when you can sip a mezcal negroni and eat some cantabrian anchovies." - gillian mcguire

Stayed with my daughter on a quick trip to Venice. We could not have been happier. The location is great - right near Rialto, and also next to the more relaxed Cannaregio. The staff were kind and sweet and always helpful. We were so happy we wanted to extend our stay. Not surprisingly they were full. We will be back. Thanks Leon Bianco!

I recommend everything about this hotel. The location is good, the staff is incredibly helpful, and the room itself was huge, and breathtakingly beautiful. We were able to book an evening boat tour as soon as we arrived, which was a great way to see the city in a short period of time. And the concierge recommended a seafood restaurant (A la Vecia Cavana) that had incredible food - maybe the best we had on our whole trip to Italy. We were shocked at what a great bargain this was. I would have expected the room to be at least twice as expensive as it actually was.

I can't begin to describe how outstanding our stay here was. Our friend at the front desk named Enrico made sure we had everything we needed. He arranged a private taxi ride to and from the airport straight to the front door. He gave us all his recommendations and offered to make dinner reservations and a grand canal tour. He was so warm and welcoming. He made us feel like we were in good hands in a country so far away from home. The hotel was the prefect location! It was in the middle of all the good eats and not too far away from all the main attractions. I liked being away from San Marco's hustle and bustle. There was so much to see in the area and it was so convenient to be able to drop into our hotel whenever we needed to. There was a security to get in the front. It was very secure. It felt like home. Our room was absolutely beautiful! We had a canal view from our bed! It was so dreamy! There was a separate sitting room and toilet room. The shower had a nice waterfall head and there was even a soaking tub. It was the perfect stay! One we'll never forget! If we ever come back to Venice, this is where I'm staying!

We found this place via Booking.com, and it had the perfect view. We absolutely loved our stay here. Our room was really big and we had a private way from our room window itself to board the boats. We had an amazing stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others as well. The room was a bit big for us as it was the whole apartment but we booked it mainly for the view and it didn't disappoint us at all! Their breakfast is good and adequate. They were able to arrange the hotel pickup/drop from the airport/train station as well as the private gondola ride. They only take cash for arranging these services, so make sure to carry enough cash with you. Their staff is very nice and helpful. They even offered and booked a table for us at a nearby hotel for lunch as we arrived earlier than our checkin time. We stayed there in October 2023. It is close to so many restaurants and there are so many shops at the walking distance. Living right next to the canal in Venice was one of our best experiences there.

The first floor room was great. Spacious, great AC and our own private little dock out the window! View of a portion of the Rialto bridge on the canal! Great location, water taxi dropped us right at our door. Check in was smooth and professional. Can't recommend enough. So many places say AC and it's a tiny broken down unit, this was cold and welcome after the hot July Venice sun. Will remember forever!

After spending two nights in a dingy hotel around the corner, Locanda Leon Bianco was a wonderful change. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was nice and big. Two windows opened out over one of the canals (not the Grand Canal), and there was a couch, a fridge and a pod coffee machine. The bathroom was big by Italian hotel standards. We very much enjoyed our one night stay, and wish we had been in this hotel for our entire time in Venice!

Stayed 4 nights in this inn which is by the river. Gondolas can be seen from the room in daytime. Those who are travelling with big luggage, trust me you will have a hard time as there is no elevator here. There is also a bridge that you will need to access to the hotel. Room is big and good thing it has bidet as most hotels in Italy. Breakfast was adequate - breads, pastries, jams, butter, fruits, eggs if your choice, cereals etc.
