Locanda Solagna

Today we dined at this exquisite restaurant and was absolutely blown away by their culinary prowess. The venison dish I had was simply divine, undoubtedly one of the best I've ever tasted. The starters were equally impressive, bursting with flavor and creativity. What truly set this establishment apart, however, was the impeccable service. Despite our baby girl's occasional tantrums, the waitresses were incredibly understanding and accommodating, ensuring that our dining experience remained enjoyable throughout. From start to finish, this restaurant exceeded all expectations, leaving me eagerly anticipating my next visit.

We popped in last minute and got the suite, as all rooms were booked, we did not expect in this small town to find this! In the backyard in the shade of a row of trees and tarp above, view on the veggie/ herb flower garden, we enjoyed a lovely meal- excellent waiters. What a joy!!! Breakfast was served again in the garden, everything was so at peace and very attentive. We felt very welcome here what a great service!!! We hope to be back

Ww had a most pleasant lunch during our travels. Off the beaten. Track, in a tiny village, it serves authentic Italian food. Reasonable prices.

Service and customer care/ welfare was kept at a high standard, food is incredible and its great having staff that know about food and want to make sure you try their menu and enjoy your stay. Every meal was a new adventure and I looked forward to hearing about what the kitchens could offer each day. We came here for a light lunch as they advertised on their website... "L’Osteria di Locanda Solagna è la nostra proposta per una pausa pranzo genuina, di qualità e con un’attenzione particolare al prezzo, per portare l’opportunità del ben mangiare nelle abitudini di ogni giorno." Basically, they SAY they serve lunch paying special attention to the price, so one can enjoy a high quality meal at reasonable prices even during the day. My biggest complaint is this was VERY MISLEADING!!! My son ordered only a dish of pasta and 1 appetizer... I had a very small portion of meat very simply grilled, and that was it! We only drank water, no desserts, no cafe... nothing else! The bill came to €50! Maybe they think that's reasonable... but I certainly do not!!! My meat alone was €25! Definitely NOT WORTH IT! It was really nothing special and a small portion. I have lived in this area for 30 years and there are many many restaurants that specialize in local dishes and delicious meats. This is not one of them!||I am sorry to write such a poor review because the owners were quite nice to us, but they need to know that overcharging will only drive clientele away.

Let's not use ifs, ands or buts: it's EXPENSIVE. That said, it is also VERY VERY GOOD! It's the kind of place where you can be amazed by a "simple" pasta with tomato sauce, choose whatever you 're in the mood for and let your taste buds do the rest. The place looks like a typical wealthy home in Veneto at the beginning of the 20th century, the owners did a good job keeping the same atmosphere with the furnishings in the dining room. A pleasant, relaxing place to dine. Enjoy!

Incredible food, very friendly people in one of the most beautiful places I have been. Fabulous wine selection and...the is a winery almost next door. Short train from Venice, very long on happiness

Very beautyfull bar and restaurant. (stylish and tastefull furnishings) Polite and friendly owners (son with parents). Delicious food in their own restaurant. Rooms are tiedy and clean; quiet and good beds. If you take a coffee or a drink you directly take part of the village live of the italien citiciens.
