15 Swanky Speakeasies to Check Out in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"When entering this speakeasy-style bar, expect a dark room with seemingly hundreds of door knobs; only the right one will allow folks inside. Like many spots throughout and beyond the city, Lock & Key has changed tremendously since the pandemic. Before, Lock & Key was serving truly innovative drinks with unusual ingredients and techniques. Today, expect a slightly pared-down menu, plus DJ sets that go on late into the night." - Virali Dave

The speakeasy place is next to a pizza front. The entrance is really cool with lots of door handles on the wall. Inside, it felt cozy and cool vibes. Very dim lighting. There's an outside patio that's really cool. I would recommend this place for date nights or group hangs. It'll be a fun night out.

We had a really disappointing experience with the bartender. The place was nearly empty when we arrived, yet the bartender lady was rude. We ordered two drinks but were brought three without explanation and were irritated. When we asked for the tab, we were given a bill with no itemized breakdown, which felt shady especially considering the high prices. The drinks werent even good, so we just left it. won’t be returning.

Went on a Saturday night around 10pm. The DJ was great and played classic early 2000s hip hop! The bartender was a bit slow and not very attentive. The drinks were strong but not tasteful. We were early enough to get a table with sitting room, but the crowd doesn’t really come in until 12:30am.

Overall good experience. Music was great really liked the songs. Throwbacks and variety. Drinks were good. Staff were also nice. The vibes are good inside. Line on the weekend is insanely long unless u know someone or willing to pay. If willing to purchase punch bowl they were would let you in sooner. No cover charge. Wait was over an hour. Get pat down on the way in after ID check. Wait to drink can be long but be patient and nice to bartenders. There is a Bar inside and at the outside area. Crowd was mixed and overall chill 20-30s. Friendly people. Carl Sagan drink was lit. Cocktails around $15 if I remember correctly Lady outside selling hotdogs takes Zelle or Venmo.

Went on a week day (Wednesday)and the crowd wasn’t as packed as I heard it is on the weekend which is good. It’s hidden inside a cute ton of doors with locks on them, almost speak easy vibes but the inside is way bigger than you’d think. The cocktails were well crafted and the dj was spinning up a variety of throwback jams, really cool spots

I visited this venue previously and had a positive experience, which led me to return. Unfortunately, my recent visit was incredibly disappointing. The dance area was overcrowded, and security failed to address individuals openly smoking cannabis, creating a chaotic environment. Additionally, the drinks were priced at over $25 each for house tequila, and we were surprised by an 18% gratuity added to a round of shots, despite receiving subpar service from the bartender. It's unclear what has changed, but I would caution anyone considering a visit, especially those seeking a high-quality nightlife experience in Los Angeles.

First time at a bar in LA and I had a great time! I went in early so it wasn’t too busy. I ordered a Santa Monica head in the clouds and it was strong and tasted good.

Food: 3 Vibes: 5 My bf and I came here (mainly for food haha) bc it's very close to us. We also wanted to check out the vibe. If you want a chill vibe definitely recommend coming early on Sunday nights. They've got a DJ playing old school hip hop and r&b music all night. Such throw backs! Loved it. Entrance: currently only requiring ID to get in. When you walk in, you enter into a room full of doorknobs on the walls. You have to find the right doorknob to open the door to get inside. Super cool concept. You are the key! Food: we ordered pepperoni deep dish pizza and the garlic fries. The food wasn't fresh. The pizza was basically a thick pizza and had no cheese pull (super disappointed). The fries were limp and borderline cold. I understand people don't come here to mainly eat, but still! It should still be warm atleast. Drink: they seem to be pretty popular for their drinks. CINDY LOU WHO - 15 Vodka, Cranberry-Almond Syrup, Honey Liqueur, Apple, Lemon, Walnut Bitters STRAWBERRY MULE - 15 Vodka, Strawberry, Lime, Mint, House Ginger Beer SHADY SCHEMES - 15 Vodka(substituted), Pineapple, Apple, Serrano *I love fruity drinks so these really hit it on the nail. They could be a bit stronger but that's okay. Vibe Loved that the eating/drinking was separated from the dance area. The music is blasted throughout. Everyone's just chill and enjoying their time. Loved the music. Previous reviews with feeling unsafe with security guys are alarming and I'd think twice before coming here with a group of girls but it's nice if you're with a guy or a mix group. Will come back with a group!

Yelp
love this place downnnn we went during halloweekend and were able to group around a table outside & there was enough space to dance thru the night. my friends and i came in costumes and the dj/emcee loved my friend's oompa loompa costume so much that he gave him hella tequila shots LOL. the music was greattt and my group and i were in our own little world!! only down side: as we left a random guy groped my friend, but thankfully the bouncers kicked him out immediately. all in all, i 100/10 recommend lock & key

Yelp
This was my 3rd time at Lock & Key and each time just gets worse. I no longer recommend despite them having great music, the hassle to be comfortable in such a small area is near impossible and the drinks took at least 45mins to get serviced. They need to better monitor who comes in because the deck area was jam packed by 11pm to the point it was difficult to move. It was awful and you could not comfortably move around at all. It was definitely a fire hazard and was giving crowd crush rather than enjoyable time at a bar. This was our choice club in LA because the DJ sets always played great Hip Hop and RnB but it is no longer worth the hassle. The only good thing was their well flavored midori sour. I would not recommend people to come here any more because no longer does it feel fun or safe! People weren't dancing or mingling, just a bunch of stand off-ish people. I'd definitely recommend Rewind Day club instead!

Yelp
Ok this WAS my spot. But I had never gone on a weekend night. I'm a designer who'd just left an event. I was fully dressed to the nines hair makeup ensemble personality . However I had swapped my heels out for for marching blinged out crocs. And the doorman tonight wouldn't let me in. I told him I wasn't coming for the club but because I missed the food. He said NO. A very stern one. He let young ladies go in ahead of us in dirty sneakers, jeans, tank tops, hats, etc.. and this is no slight to them, but I was "dressed up" and he did not let us in on a technicality, even though I was not coming for the club, and I made that clear. I just felt like I didn't deserve that. May 9, 2025 approx 10:45pm the doorman was unapologetically mean it was almost as if he was mad we came. The girls he let him were Asian and white, my friend and I were black. Just thought I'd mention that. The doorman was white-ish ....

Yelp
I never thought I would have to make a review but I felt so disrespected at this bar tonight. The music was nice and vibes were alright but when I was trying to order a drink at the main bar, I was completely ignored when I was trying order some cocktails. Yes, I get that it was busy tonight and many people were waiting to order but the female bartender completely ignored my existence for over half an hour and when I started to wave my arm for attention, she still ignored me until I started waving harder. And then she got mad saying "I GOT YOU. I SEE YOU. I WILL GET TO YOU." and proceeded to help another customer who came after me. She also started to roam around behind the bar purposely ignoring me. She also asked the other customers that already had their food and drinks on the table if they need anything else and they didn't need anything. Honestly, after that stunt, I just left the speakeasy completely. I don't know if she had a bad night or something but I felt like she completely ignored me on purpose, which made me think that it was my ethnicity that made her ignore me on purpose cause she was helping everyone else that was not Asian and there weren't many Asians at the bar anyways. It was my first experience at the speakeasy and I was excited to try the pizza and cocktails but the female bartender just basically ruined the experience, so I probably won't come back again. The interior was pretty cool as well but that whole stunt with the bartender just ruined it.

Yelp
I'm gonna start by saying my first time here was thanks to the bouncer who was kind to let us in (and to do my boy a solid because he didn't have everything he needed). The place had good music and vibes. Bar staff were nice and didn't take long to help with orders/drinks. Had a great experience. It was a bit crowded outside but for someone who doesn't frequent bars / clubs, it lived up to the hype. Actually a bit surprised by the poor reviews down below because low-key, wouldn't mind coming through again for some nightlife fun.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday in a group of 13. I had table service/bottle service so no one in my group had to wait or deal with the line, but on a Friday night, the line seems to start closer to 11. We got two punch bowls the jitterbug and pink flamingo. Both were SUPER delicious and a little dangerous because you couldn't taste the alcohol (they poured the entire bottle so it was in there ahahaha). We also got an order of fries and cheese Sicilian pizza. I know they have a separate pizza window, but our expectations were low since this place is like a bar first. Our table agreed that it was good drunk food and the sourdough crust is what made it pop. I think we were the biggest group of the night since we had two tables and most of my group arrived between 9-10 so the general manager, our server, and security all came up to us throughout the night to make sure we were well taken care of. Also love our server, since I arrived at like 9pm and we had two tables reserved she gave me the tip to pick the tables on the inside. Nearly the entire outside is the dance floor so the bottle service tables out there are better for a smaller group. Also my credit card initially declined (my bank's precaution) and they didn't like search for me on the dance floor so charge me ahaha. The reason I gave them 4 stars is the dance floor. There's scattered non bottle service tables in the middle that they should just move to the sides since people really use it to set their drinks down. Not a huge deal, but when it gets packed, that limited space is a big deal! We also went on a night where there wasn't like a special event and it was also Valentine's Day so the DJ started slow. No one was really dancing till like 11:30 (so if you're used to big nightclubs that might be a bit of an adjustment). But once the dance floor started going it didn't stop. DJ played the best of his set in the last hour which isn't unexpected, but his first hour was so painfully slow...he could've brought that energy in a little sooner. I'll definitely be back! My next trip probably won't involve table service, but I'll definitely reference their IG for when they have special nights.

Yelp
Val, the manager was so amazing. He made my group feel so safe. He has great hospitality, customer service, and really keeps me coming back. This is my favorite bar because of him. The bar was run like a tight ship and everyone was so friendly. That must mean his leadership is amazing 10 out of 10 stars thank you so much Val you are the best you deserve another promotion and raise!

Yelp
So I'm drinking another Old-fashion at @lock-n-key. They used Four Roses bourbon. It's on a scale of 1-10 an 8.5....all bc of AMAZING show they put on when making it. The poor young lady burned her fingers while making it! I really wished they had Makers Mark bourbon but they didn't. Now I will give them a fair 4-5 stars. Please get Makers Mark bourbon and I'll give you another fair review.

Yelp
The ability to order a 'Chicago deep dish' pizza after midnight is kinda a feat in itself since normally these types of pizzas especially take a fair bit of time to prepare -- usually 45+ to cook to perfection. Lock & Key somehow defies gravity and has somehow shortened the time and work considerably . Being this late , was I expecting this to be good? Of course not! Which legitimate Chicago deep dish pizza delivers at these types of hours? Ordered the pepperoni pizza deep dish. For 20$ it's a steal , right ? Hmmm. Think again. It's more like a personal deep dish pizza you won't or (will after testing the waters) share with your buddies. There's a lot of downside to this, but the biggest one is: The demands of each slice of Chicago deep dish pizza is too big to contain in that small of a slice since it's super top heavy. Which means the cheese and toppings will slide off its axis or severely droop down when you lift it up for a Bite. Cheese was extremely scant. No pull. Paper thin . The sauce sucked. Tasted like a linguini marinara slightly sweet sauce and had a smooth consistency. This is atypical for the sauce of Chicago deep dish pizza . Typically, you want a more chunky tomato sauce with a much sharp/semi bitter taste . Given the many maladies, I was half-surprised the crust was okay, but let's not pretend lock and key will receive any accolades anytime soon Also, I ordered this through post mates. Probably a good idea id the restaurant provides a temper proof seal. But it actually was delivered still warm. Surprising too.

Yelp
The service was a 5/5 but I was alarmed that the men's restroom did not have a door for the toilet to separate from the urinals. There were two urinals right next to the toilet - this seems unacceptable as I have never seen anything like it even when traveling to developing countries. Guess they do not care about privacy and expect customers to not use the restroom. This makes me want to give it a 1/5 but the service and desert made up for it. The PB&J is only $12 is worth trying. It's a bit heavy but is tasty. I ordered the strawberry Mule and it was ok but didn't taste like a mule. There was food that looked really good but I didn't try - especially since there wasn't a restroom I could comfortably use. There is NO parking - valet is $22 so if you want to get free parking, then you will have to park at the Vons or Ralph's across the street.

Yelp
This speakeasy has a lot of people that come thru from Thursday-Saturday nights where they have Dj's that perform a variety of music like R&B, Hip Hop, and other genres. The drink menu is very extensive but the pizza is what I hear that everyone talks about. The birria pizza has been on my list for a while and it didn't fail to disappoint. They had other pizzas and other food options like a chicken sandwich. I personally believe their pizza is really good. The service was very fast and the bartender was super attentive when I wanted to order more drinks. Solid place to go for a night out but it can get a little busy.

Yelp
Lock n key is one of my fav clerbs in ktown LA. This club is designed like a cute little speakeasy :-) They always play such good music (hip hop, rap, r&b. The line is usually pretty long so get here earlier (10ish)... but sometimes the bouncer lets us cut if we have mostly girls in our group. Since the line was a little long we got pizza at lock n key -- SO GOOD. You would never expect for the pizza to be as yummy as it is here xD

Yelp
Parking: If you get around 9-10:00 there is street parking available on 1st street near the school. If you're going to arrive around 8-9, there should be a better chance to park on 2nd street that's a bit closer to lock and key. I would not try to park in the nearby plazas because there are specific signs that list "no parking for lock and key." Line: If you come before 10:00 I would say the line is fairly decent about 10-15 min wait. 11:00-11:30 is when it gets a bit busy at the club and the line gets long about 30-50 mins. Interior: Once you make it past the rope and security check you're left in the front entrance, a wall full of locks. The bouncers don't open the door for you. There's no host to guide you to open the door. Usually, one person will come by who's been here to open the door for you. My tip is to find the wall that is slightly open on the far right side. Just pull that handle at arm's length away. Strawberry Mule: A little bit on the sour and minty side, not that much strawberry flavor. Toyko Tea: Tastes more like lemon iced tea with light alcohol. Vodka Sunrise: Bit on the spicier side with a light orange juice taste. Bathrooms: There are no handles, you push the wall to enter the bathroom. There are gender signs indicating men/women, but kinda hard to read since it's drawn obscurely and dark. Women's restrooms are located towards the front entrance and men's are located farther down the hall. Music: Mostly current trending music, some rap, hip-hop, and a few RnB thrown in the mix.

Yelp
Small bar lounge in K-town with yummy drinks and an outdoor patio with dj and dance floor! Line was kind of long but if you're in a girl group, you can probably skip the line and head inside.

Yelp
Lock & Key is FUN! We were here for my fiancées 40th by recommendations of his friends. We got there early (like 1015) and I'm glad we did cause it was getting PACKED by 1045. I love the decor. It's moody and vibes in the inside speakeasy area but also has fun patio with market lights. I appreciate having 2 bar areas. We're old ( in our late 30s and early 40s) so our group grabbed a table in the patio area. We vibed all night and enjoyed the music. My fiancée DJ in his past life before me and he confirmed the dj was doing the dang thing. What I loved was how much staff they had. Plenty of security and servers. They always cleared our table of empty glasses and offered us water often. So nice! The bar stayed crowded but that's to be expected. I also saw them check the bathrooms often. I feel the crowd is a bit younger, early 20 to late 20s. Would come back when we're in LA again!

Yelp
S/o Frankie my new fav bartender here!! He's quick with it and makes the yummiest strawberry mules!

Yelp
This is a really fun speakeasy bar in Koreatown! I came here early on a Friday night so I was able to get in with no issues and even get a seat at the bar. The bartenders are definitely overworked and understaffed, but they work hard and are really nice! Our drinks were really good! They have a great selection of really unique cocktails that taste good. I like the decor on the inside, although the number of people that go to the mirror, thinking that the place is bigger than it is, is kind of funny. There's also an outdoor area that gets livelier and a DJ that comes on later in the night. I would recommend trying to go early because when I left, it wasn't really late, but there was a huge line out the door, and it looked very chaotic. I will happily be back!
google avatar

Niki D.

Yelp
This place is a staple, but I recommend getting there early because the line gets really long. I'm not sure why, but they don't let you vape inside when vape literally disappears into thin air and the doors are wide open. It won't stop me from coming back though, just something worth mentioning. I always enjoy the music it can also just get a little crowded outside.

Yelp
Horrible experience. We had reservations at LA Prime. We stopped by Vons to get my girl a tide pen for a stain on her white dress. We saw lock and key and figured we could kill 30 min of time by having a drink. At 4pm the valet literally chased us down from Vons (across the street) and demanded $25 for us to spend 30 min at Lock and Key. I told him I had a receipt from Vons and I was just grabbing a quick drink; I had heard about this place pre Covid. He said he would call the tow truck and if we didn't have money to stay inside. This short chubby Latino guy was very rude to us. Obviously we didn't stay. We came to LA prime and now we are enjoying a view.
google avatar

Madeline L.

Yelp
The drinks and service are amazing. Two bars, one in front and one out in the patio. Young crowd (20s) but well worth it. Music is solid. Can be packed Friday and Saturday evenings. Respect the dress code! Slower days, you can get away with whatever attire. Shoutout to Dyyo, that young man knows a craft cocktail!
google avatar

Yelp
Unlocked a cool bar! To me, the most exciting (and gimmicky) part of the bar was the front entrance... where you're on a quest to find the RIGHT (ahem ahem) handle to get in the door! Speakeasy vibes, with barstool (3-4 people) and lounge (6ish+??) seating, and cool digital saltwater fish decor (wish they were real D:). You can either order drinks inside or outside in the little patio area. Music was hip hop, but be warned... there's NO escaping the loud speakers ANYWHERE!! Not even outside... have to shout conversations. We tried every corner of the place to hide but alas... ..we ended up sitting right up at the bar and enjoyed our drinks. Service a lil slow, but hey it was poppin and we waited patiently. Lychee Vesper was not bad - may be biased since I like lychee, gin, and that DASH of tonic water. ;) Also be warned, long line out the door, even at 10 PM. Coming as 100% girl group can get you in faster ;)
google avatar

Yelp
From out of town and was told at the door we couldn't come in because I was wearing socks with slides. We apologized said no problem and were going to leave. They said don't worry about it just come inside. I looked at the website and you can't have hoodies or ball caps. Literally everyone in here including security and employees are wearing hoodies and/or ball caps. Either enforce dressed code fully or not at all. Dont pick and choose who can or can't break dress code.

Yelp
We were introduced to Lock and Key by a co-worker. We went on a Saturday Night at around 1030 ish. The place had a line from entrance to Parking lot. We decided to get bottle service and was greeted by the best staff. We got to meet head of security Val and his associates took care of us from crowd control to anything we needed (anything meniscal like ice or water) . Really made our experience Top Notch, all my family that visited can't stop talking about the music , drinks, ambiance , but it was the service that they gave we won't ever forget!

Julie D.

Yelp
We strolled in on a Saturday night after checking out the Maze room situation a couple blocks down. Luckily for us, there was no line when we got there. It was sprinkling outside, but people were out. We got in real quick then went straight to the bar. Four of us decided to get drinks and sent two of our friends over to the vacant corner where we could all fit. There happened to be a security guard standing by it so it made you feel like you were in the vip corner. Two of is got the como la flor and someone got the carl sagan and two other people got a beer. The two youngest in the group had Sunday commitments so they both opted for a shirley temples. I applaud their boldness to be such responsible adults. I'm not entirely sure what we expected from the drink but boy did we hate it. That taste did not spark joy in my mouth. The carl sagan on the other hand was quite tasty. I wish I ordered that instead because the two sips I had were so satisfying. Had the drink been good all around we woulda stayed but since it wasn't we split as soon as we all finished our drinks. Not sure how long we ended up staying but it was comfortable at the corner couch that we took over. The people watching here is a good time. You get all the demographic. You do get more Asians on this side of town. There was a line on our way out so we clearly came in at the right time.

Yelp
Horrible bartenders Over priced drinks Music and the outdoor dance space was fun but would not go back...
google avatar

Yelp
I went on a Thursday night, it was pretty packed, but the vibes were there. The music is great and dancefloor is pretty small. Drinks were okay. I got a strawberry mule which I didn't like much.
google avatar

Elizabeth X.

Yelp
Get here earlyyyy to avoid lines. Music isn't bad. But gets pretty crowded. Outdoor area is pretty overpowered by smokers. Drinks are good. Security is pretty tight. Strict no standing areas clearing out of pathways, agressive flash-lighting lol... etc.

Yelp
We love the food and the overall ambiance. Always have a good time when we visit. I highly recommend, especially if you want a great steak!

Yelp
Bouncers really bring Lock & key down. Terrible service and rude to everyone in line. The venue is cute overall inside, a bit small. The 5'7 white bouncer guy with the sport clips haircut was on a power trip with this little clipboard telling me to leave after I had waited 45 min in the line. The tall chubby latino man was picking favors one sided of the line and ignored most people. If you want your night to be ruined before even entering the club then this is the place. Just go somewhere else honestly. 0/10 experience.
google avatar

Yan L.

Yelp
Absolutely horrific "club" if you can even call it that, paired with security guards that are powering tripping and extremely rude to their customers. These guards are looking for any excuse to act on their "authority" and looking for a fight. I genuinely believe they will hurt someone. Stay away Reasons why this was the worst club experience I had: They fast track girls to the front of the line, splitting up the groups. We had 2 girls and were first in line. The security guard told them that they can come in with 2 guys, they asked if all of us can go. The security guard said "think about what I just said". Who says something like that??? They kept us in front of the line for another 15 minutes. No one was leaving the club, however they wouldn't let more people in, especially considering it was the beginning of the night. I was drinking a sprite in line, the security guard tells me to throw it away. I tell him "it's a sprite", he threatens me saying "don't argue with me".

Yelp
Really enjoyed our visit to Lock and Key this past Friday. After enjoying some delicious Korean barbecue near the Wiltern Theatre, my friends and I decided to lurk the fun going at lock and key. This hip spot offers a vibrant and dancey atmosphere with great cocktails and snacks! Lock and key is a cool, dimly lit speakeasy. After waiting in line for a short while, we were able to enter through a room filled with cool looking doorknobs and keys. Thank you again lock and key for a fun night!

Andy B.

Yelp
Most overhyped bar ever, super tiny and the line is extremely long, and it's packed to the brim where you can't even move around the place. Employeees are rude af too. Security got ego higher than Kanye west. Would never recommend coming here

I P.

Yelp
I loved the entrance of the speakeasy. Drinks were reasonably priced, music was great. I just wish they had more space for the dance floor outside.

Laura B.

Yelp
1:38 they closed everything and turned light on and didn't let customers use restroom what a service and extremely rude

Yelp
My friends and I came to Lock & Key around 7ish, so about when it opened. Let me tell you, the atmosphere is different when you come when it opens. It's a lot more chill and it's easier to talk to people at the bar. The bartenders aren't rushed because people aren't clamoring over each other just to get a drink. We parked at VONS and walked over. The bouncers let us in with ease. Since it was early/not busy the didn't ask for a cover charge which was really nice. I would like to point out the bouncers were a lot nicer this time around. Glad to see a different side of them after my last encounter. The bartenders were friendly as always. Shout out to Jonathan, Ornelle, and Fernando for constantly supplying me tasty Mojitos. Thanks for watching out on the amount I drink too. Getting my water topped off without asking is great, especially since I always find myself with a hangover the next morning after a crazy night at Lock and Key. My only suggestion is to work on the pizza! Thanks Lock & Key for great vibes :) See you soon

Yelp
The service is HORRIBLE they did not walk up to use for 36 minutes we had no one come up to us while we were at a table and help us the food is mid not all that great it's honestly a pretty lame area
google avatar

Bowen W.

Yelp
This place is a once and done. Let's start with the "security." They are extremely pushy and are there to just look tough. If anything serious actually happens they would save themselves first. Then the bartender we had was extremely rude. She was this black lady who was working in the bar outside on 6/28/24. She got our order wrong and then tried to blame us saying we were unclear. She had a lot of attitude. I can see why the establishment has an automatic 18% gratuity for tabs over $50. The staff probably doesn't have the manners or skills to get their own tips otherwise.

Yelp
I can't stand this place. We've been here numerous times and every time the service is bad. I'm honestly surprised it still open. Don't expect any help from the manager, Luka, he's completely incompetent. If you're in the neighborhood better luck patronizing a different establishment.

Yelp
My first speakeasy! Loved the music and had a great time! Got there a bit earlier in the night and decided to order a cocktail, the Strawberry Mule. It was amazinggg. Couldn't taste the alc at all.

Yelp
This place deserves a 5 star through and through. We had reservations here before the showing of NIghtmare on Elm Street and had a great experience. I forget what was on the prefixed menu but we got the scallop appetizer (definitely recommend), some steak with fries (def recommend), some pasta (recommend), and 2 desserts (cheesecake and some creamy thing with a chocolate/coffee wafer on top. Drinks were good too, but could be stronger. Not a huge fan of the cheesecake, but highhly recommend the other dessert because it's unique. Also they could use more beers on draft...I think they only had 3 options that night I went. Service was great.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday night and it looked promising since there was line out the door. We parked three blocks away, on the street. When exiting our car, we were told by the valet guy that we were parked in one of their reserved spaces and he proceeded to point at a flimsy unofficial valet sign. Confused, I told him it wasn't their space since it was on the street. We continued to the door. As we were about to enter, the valet manager comes barreling down the street and accused us (again) of parking in his spot and that he'd call for us to get towed. In this exchange, he also claimed he had a permit to do so. The doorman simultaneously tells us that we have to listen to the valet and pay him. Feeling like we were getting hustled by these two, we left. As we were walking back to the car, they moved the flimsy sign by my car. We asked to see the so-called permit, he ignored us and couldn't even look us in the eye as he kept mumbling he'd get us towed. Look if we parked in a private lot, sure. That would make total sense but in our situation they were just trying to milk us. Situations like this are pretty aggravating when establishments try to bully you to make a couple bucks based on arbitrary rules they establish. The money they were trying to get from us for parking was way less than what we would have spent inside. I've never been be a fan of this place because of the long lines, crowded spaces and expensive drinks. This just sealed it for me.

Yelp
Long ass line to get in on a Thursday around 10 & I wasn't able to get in because I was wearing these Sam Edelman's that didn't have a back strap. So sadly 1 star for not being able to get in but I'm sure the establishment deserves more stars. Best of luck!

Yelp
Fun spot with a secret entrance, good vibes and food and service, nice place to chill with friends on weekends.

Yelp
If I could leave zero stars I would. Dont come here I repeat DO NOT come here. The manager here wants everyone to know that he's been here for years like I care. They allow women to just walk in but the males have to stand our side till the last 1 hour. this location is very small and the customer services is horrible. please stay far far away.

Yelp
Pretty good for a late night order! Came hot at a good temp. The cheese flavor is rich.

Yelp
The bartender made the best drinks we've had in years!! Brand new cocktail menu-- Super fun DJ vibes for a Sunday! Reggaeton and Afropop-- DJ'S were 7/10, (again nothing personal) but the vibe was super lit, not my typical scene but not bad. Best part was the drink we had: MYRA'S PITAHAYA SOUR! 6 stars for the drinks, 4 for the vibe. - solid 5!

Yelp
They are definitely open and serving patrons. Ladies please make sure your shoes have straps on the back if they are not heels. If you don't, they will deny you entry. The bar tenders were super nice and the drinks were good as well. Not as strong as I would have hoped, but enjoyable nonetheless. I didn't try their food but maybe I will next time. Next time I'll check to see if they actually serve food. Lol They also have seating outside. Great place for a date night or girls night. Oh! And my favorite part was the brûléed piece of pineapple that came on my drink. It was delicious!

Yelp
The music and drinks here are so good! The bartenders are great at what they do. It is such a shame because this place is absolutely tiny. Although the ambiance here is very lively, I would not recommend this place for groups unless you have a table. Otherwise you just get a patch of grass and a hallway.

Yelp
Came here with my friends and the vibes were lit. They were playing bangers all night. I recommend ordering the berry mai tai if you're not really into drinking because you can't really taste the alcohol. I loved the pizza. We ordered half sausage half pepperoni and they got it wrong but it was still pretty good. I love the interior of the place with the booths and lit candle lamps. Overall really good experience would come back again!!!
