"LockCha offers traditional tea service and vegetarian dim sum ina stunning colonial-era building with elegant furnishings, carved wooden panels, and framed calligraphy on the walls. When it first opened in 1991, it was a simple tea shop, but over the years, it evolved intoa haven for tea lovers and connoisseurs, and an important player in the revival of the traditional Cantonese teahouse. From the start, LockCha’s discerning founder, Mr.Wing-chi Ip, did things differently from other shops, buying his tea directly from farmers and focusing on unblended, pure, single-harvest tea. This attracted attention and loyal customers. Today, LockCha not only sells more than 100 different teas but also designs and sells tea wares—teapots, cups, canisters, and so on. There are also concerts every Saturday night, and tea and calligraphy classes on weekdays."

"When you’ve had too much pork, turn to this sweet, traditional Chinese tea house, which serves vegetarian dim sum. Beyond dumplings, they offer more than 100 varieties of tea (which are also for sale in the shop)."
Lots of tea options
Staff will explain and recommend with patience 🥰
Each person will get their own pot of tea,
There’s a kettle of hot water for you to refill.
Dim sum are all very nice!!
Mostly vegan, absolutely not greasy like some of the vegetarian restaurants in Hong Kong.
Love the experience 💖
Highly recommend :

This is my second visit after a 5 years gap, and it is just as enjoyable. The three of us went on a Sunday around 12:30 and we did not make reservations. It was near capacity but we were seated immediately. It is different than other dim sum restaurants in that it follows the tea house tradition where tea is ordered first and then the foods. The venue is inside a park and the decor is quite classic. The tea menu is presented in a quad fold and each of us ordered a different Pu Er. The server brought us the tea right after ordering and showed us how to brew it. We ordered quite a bit of food and they were delicious and came steaming hot. Compare to other vegetarian restaurants, the price at this one is definitely on the high side when the price of the tea is included. However, the beta, the food and the service is worth at least to experience it once.

Very nice place just to have a cup of tea and some vegetarian dim sum. We came here on a late Sunday afternoon and we didn't have to wait to be seated. They have different tea options and you won't go wrong with any choice. The waitresses were polite and helpful and explained clearly how to enjoy the tea.

Lovely place for some lunch and tea. Arrived at 1:30pm without any bookings, waited till 2pm for a table for two. Each person must have their own tea. There was an extensive tea list and some dim sums to choose from, everything was great.
The biggest discovery was the ginger pudding, served hot, wonderfully spicy, didn’t expect it to be that good.

A nice little Chinese tea house serving quite a catalog of different Chinese tea with vegetarian dim sums. Overall good and tea quality were great. Definitely felt no MSG in the food and they were freshly made. The tea options were vast and prices were quite wide a range from entry to really premium. Each person has to order a set of tea as at the end of the day, this is a tea house. The servers were nice. Seats are comfy but just a small place and may feel a bit tight with other tables in some area. Generally, a good place to taste good tea and have a chat.
Location is inside the park and can be a tiny bit tricky to find.

A beautiful restaurant and a paradise for vegetarians since all the food here is vegetarian. The food is tasty and comes in small portions so you can order more dishes to try.

The location is nested in a tranquil park, and the staff are friendly.
The tea has good flavour and you get to DIY kongfu tea. We tried the Organic White Peony (light and fragrance) and Organic Old Tree Suixian (strong and flavourful).
Tried the pan-fried rice roll w XO sauce (a good combination), crispy samosa, deep fried glutinous rice dumpling (the skin is made of glutinous rice with veg and mushroom filling), ginger plant meat xiao long bao (juicy and flavourful), steam sticky rice in lotus leaf (request for chilli sauce, it gives extra flavour), steamed coriander teochew dumpling, pan-fried mushroom dumpling (juicy and good crisp) and ginger pudding (texture is similar to sticky layer cake).
