Where to Eat and Drink on Detroit’s Avenue of Fashion | Eater Detroit

"Lockeroom is a historic sports bar and food truck in the University District. Enjoy great people, delicious food, refreshing cocktails, exciting sports, and entertainment. The bar was recently renovated with 25 flat screens, interactive games, and a “Hall of Fame” that honors sports heroes. Dine in or take out from the menu that has bar fare like wings and mozzarella sticks and specialty cocktails, including one named after soon-to-retire Detroit Tigers Miguel “Miggy” Cabrera." - Amber Ogden

So me and my Lady friend stopped in last night, on a Friday evening. It was real nice. Sierra took care of us. She was the Best. Give her a raise 911. The Dj was good, the drinks was good, and the atmosphere was perfect. LLl b back💯

Food and Drinks were great! Can’t go wrong with the “white tea” tower. Unfortunately, the DJ talked most of the night over the songs played and some ladies asked that he play the songs. DJ gets mad and start arguing with the ladies. Very unprofessional. Totally changed the vibe. If he’s playing I’m passing.

Finally got to go there for karaoke and the Lions first game of the season. They had complimentary nachos and Coney dogs. I didn't learn that until I had already ordered a happy hour burger and fries. I grabbed a Coney dog while I waited for my food. I also got a ginger ale. It was very packed in there. The space isn't very big but you can tell that's a regular spot for a few people. It's the first time I've been in a while since I've been in a small space with people. Positive atmosphere and it was nice being apart of the crowd. My burger was edible but the fries were good. Glad it was still happy hour. I'm giving the server grace due to it being a small space but remember to bring the plastic ware with the meals next time. If you like fun vibes and good people go.

They have the best wings. Yesterday I tried the egg rolls on my God they're delicious. See you Friday for happy hour again.

I’m literally here right now, it’s a Saturday night and the dJ is annoying as HELL. The place its self is great but when you have a dj who talks all through the songs and only making comments about women, you can tell they have no life outside the place they are employed. Especially if they telling people they can “do what they want” the owner need to knock him off his high horse.

If u haven’t been here in 10 + years like me GO‼️ Lots of tvs to watch games, great Happy Hour specials, tasty food, and a great staff. The dj was catering to a 35+ crowd 🎶 Music was banging! Updated decor, clean throughout, and a good crowd of patrons!!! 😜 My bartender was Andy or Alex I can’t remember now, but she was GREAT with suggestions and recommendations! ❤️ I’ll be back!

Me and my bff stopped in on a random stop lol and end up having a great time. We got there right when they were cleaning to close bcus it was a slow day but they let us come in anyway and end up staying open lol we had a good time. Great service and conversation. Didn't get a chance to eat but we did meet the chef and he was great. The bartender BIG Nikki not the little one lol Love her

My friend and I went tonight. We walked in we were greeted by a lady. At first wasn’t sure if she worked there or not… we sat at the bar for a good while. The two bartenders never acknowledged us AT ALL…we got tired of waiting. It wasn’t even crowded. We never received menus or anything. So we left. I have an issue when I try to support a black owned business my people don’t acknowledge us. Then get pissed when they don’t get a good tip or get tipped at all. It was disappointing. My friend said every time he passed this place it looked like a cool spot. When I walked in the music was cool and the aesthetics. But THE SERVICE LACKED.
