Excellent happy hour! Perfectly crafted drinks. Amazing deviled eggs and cheese spread! Relaxed atmosphere. Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time. Explore everything! Edit: I just married the love of my life, so I’m happily off the market—but the comment suggesting we get married and spend eternity together? Hilarious. Bold. A+ energy. 😂 Clearly, you get me—because yes, I would absolutely commit to the deviled eggs and cocktails here. No prenup needed, just a napkin and a cozy table.

Stopped in for dinner, and I am so glad we did. The service was wonderful and friendly. The drinks were amazing, and the food was top notch. Don't make the same mistake I did and sleep on this place. Why didn't I try this place sooner? We will absolutely be back!

Absolutely fantastic. 5+ stars! We’ve been to the Richardson location, but this was our first visit to the McKinney spot. We sat outside with our pups. Husband got the aged bourbon flight- he said it was good & I ordered the Lockwood Bramble- delicious, frozen, refreshing. We planned to just get an appetizer to hold us over for dinner but decided to split the chicken tender dinner instead. WOW. Not only did the portions fill us both up, but we were absolutely astounded by the excellency of that chicken. It was incredibly moist and cut like butter. It may have been the best chicken we’ve ever had! My husband said we’re coming back every week for that, lol. Lockwood also honors a generous military discount, which is very much appreciated. We will definitely be returning, they are a welcome addition to downtown McKinney. God bless y’all! 🥰

Great place to kick back and relax. Great atmosphere. We did not eat food here but we will be back because it all looked wonderful. Even has amazing looking desserts. The customer service was absolutely amazing. We were brought delicious samples of their traditional and chocolate cream bourbon- delicious!!! We sampled the traditional aged flight. Straight, single barrel, rye and cream. Each was unique and flavorful. Wonderful place to eat, relax and sample delicious bourbon.

We ate here for the first time on a recent Friday evening, and it was fantastic. We enjoyed their craft cocktails using their own vodka. Our favorite was the Hibiscus Lemonade. I got the smash burger with the truffle tots and my wife got the sliders with a side of regular tots. Both of us thought it was great. It's a fairly small place and wasn’t crowded. Service was excellent!

We recently stopped by for dinner and had a mixed experience but will be back to try brunch soon. The atmosphere left a bit to be desired because the music was so low, and it kept turning off every 10–15 minutes. It made the space feel a bit awkward and quiet, especially compared to other spots in McKinney where the vibe is more energetic and welcoming. We could hear everyone's convo around us! On the upside, the burger and tots were solid — flavorful and well-prepared. The chicken tender dinner, however, was more like a chicken cutlet meal, which was good but nothing great. Definitely not tenders as it's marketed. Unfortunately, the mac & cheese was a real letdown. It lacked flavor and tasted more like plain milk or cream than a true cheese sauce.

What a great place! This was our first time to visit Lockwood, and today, we had lunch. Everything we ordered was freshly made on premises and excellent tasting. We ordered a club sandwich, tomato soup, and a mixed green salad with crispy chicken. So good! The tables and restaurant were very clean and the friendly and efficient service provided by Tricia, our server, was also excellent. We highly recommend Lockwood and will definitely return to this restaurant soon.

So glad I got out of bed for this….the bananas foster french toast is the most incredible thing I’ve ever had. Love the staff who always make us feel at home!! Love you Lockwood McKinney ❤️
