Google
got an açaí bowl here, i wish they had chocolate chips but it was still pretty good, $18 for a medium sized bowl 😐 but that’s generally açaí bowl pricing around here so. the outside area is cute and the main reason i stopped.

Google
Aesthetic acai bowl + smoothie spot on Abbot Kinney. Came here with a friend around 6:30 on a Wednesday and got an acai bowl plus smoothie for our pre-workout meal. The place is super cute, and their patio has outdoor seating where you can take plenty of cute pics for the ‘gram. There’s random Barbie dolls hidden in the bushes too, so keep an eye out for those! The menu is on the pricier side, but you do have to keep in mind you’re in Venice on Abbot Kinney. Credit cards accepted. If you decide to save the bowls as we did, the employee noted you can freeze the bowls, but they just get icy. The Barney bowl was full of healthy stuff and the blue smoothie I had was tasty. The chocolate smoothie was even better, though it was a bit heavier on the nut butter flavor than the cacao. Street parking was a pain, but it’s always a pain in that neighborhood. The employees were all very nice and helpful. Overall, it’s a cute spot to grab some fresh, healthy stuff.

Google
Didn’t try their food only juice. The juice tasted good but it was ridiculously small and half filled with ice even though we didn’t ask for it. I understand that after the pandemic many food establishments need to cut corners but flexing customers is not the way.

Google
Favorite place since now on in Venice. Something we were missing in here. Nice seating area with the healthy food. We ordered our bowl in coconut shell. It was so delicious and cute. The staff were helpful and fast with customer service.

Google
I’ve tried many different bowls and from many different places but THIS IS THE SPOT for açaí and a cool refresh on a sunny day! The outside seating is so cute and a perfect spot to wait for your bowl! Yes, at times it can take awhile to make your bowl, but guess what, GOOD FOOD takes time! And I love that they make everything fresh and have staff that care about the food and how it is served. Every time I go, no matter how busy they are, the bowls are still as aesthetic and picture perfect, and they care! Stop the search and just eattttttttt!

Google
I really wanted to love this place. It's locally owned and the ambiance is so cute and I like that they marketed themselves as healthy and organic... I also appreciated that they don't load their bowls with extra sugars. But I came in on the 10th with my boyfriend and tried it for the first time and we were extremely disappointed. I asked the guy what the popular bowls were or what they were known for and he didn't really have an answer (he turned around to look at the menu and randomly picked one lol) So I picked the Barney's bowl and asked him if adding spinach would be good. He replied yes and so we ordered and waited. (One look at the website after ordering and I saw that they were famous for the mermaid bowl, but he didn't mention that and I had already ordered) IT TOOK FOREVER. We saw the sign saying it may take a bit .. so we patiently waited... And waited... We finally got our bowls and mine was the literal consistency of water. I've NEVER been given a soupy acai bowl like that before, from any place I've eaten at. (I went back inside to ask for a straw but the guy stayed in the back and never came out again) Mine was also missing multiple toppings. (Added photo for proof: no raspberries or kiwi or trail mix & granola) I didn't complain and dug in.. IT WAS SO BLAND. It tasted too earthy... like a bunch of stuff mixed together with no sweetness or clear flavor profile. I was so disappointed. I wondered if I made a mistake by adding spinach to mine, thinking it may have ruined it... so I tried my boyfriend's to see if it was any better... Bland and watery as well. I truly don't mind paying for expensive food, but it better be worth the price. My bowl was over $20 and it was garbage. I ate it for sustenance and because I don't like being wasteful... but it was hard to do. Quick summary: worker wasn't knowledgeable, he left off major toppings (I'm guessing he forgot things in the base as well but can't tell after it's blended) and the consistency was waaay too soupy. Flavor was too bland and earthy. Sadly, NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Looks like I'm still on the lookout for a really delicious acai bowl place in Venice. This place is for sure NOT IT.

Google
A fun place to hang on Abbott Kinney. My colleague enjoyed the espresso. My açaí bowl left a lot to be desired. It was NOT cheap and they really go too light on the peanut butter.

Google
Support small local business y’all! Great acai bowls, hand down the best! I don’t get stomach aches and that say it all! Bennie greets all of his customers and it’s personable experience! He deserves 5 stars. Also dog friendly❤️

Yelp
Loco Moco is one of the stores that I hang out whenever I take a stroll down Abbott Kinney. Thanks to the comfortable seats in front of the store. Also come by here to check the passion fruits they have along the fence. It has plenty of fruits which nobody bothers to pick aside from me. Today I went to the store to check if there's more passion fruits available but I saw that they're not ready yet for picking. However, I noticed that the doors are closed which made me believe that the business is not open to the public anymore.

Yelp
Loco Coco Venice is permanently closed. No need to read any further, thank you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vibrant, Vivacious, Vegan, Virtuous, Vitalizing Loco Coco is a NYC-based smoothie bowl and juice chain. Northeastern University student Max Alcobi was introduced to pitaya while vacationing in Aruba. He opened his first Loco Coco location in 2017 before he graduated. This building is on Abbot Kinney and Aragon Court. It used to be Jin Patisserie and Kreation Juicery (which downsized and relocated a couple blocks down). The outdoor patio didn't have too much shade but it was a nice place to hang out. Their Tropic Thunder was sweet but not overly so. I mostly tasted pineapple and orange, which gave the juice a more tangy and tart flavor profile. The passion fruit was more subtle, and the mango was pretty much absent. You can find them at their other locations on the Upper East Side or near Columbia University.

Yelp
Wouldn't come back here. Got the Purple Rain which sounds nice on the menu but is this expensive, basic, pathetic little bowl of açaí with Costco-brand granola and a couple berries. Pass on this and try Oakberry down the block if you've got the açaí craving.

Yelp
Amazing! Love that they have a Matcha base more than anything and great that they actually follow directions in the notes when ordering online. One time we went the order was about 15-20 min late but the other two times no issues. Wonderful garden area to sit in as well with chill music. Has never been too packed either

Yelp
I loved the freshly squeezed green apple juice! It was definitely the best I've had! It's s little pricey got $9.75 but honestly, it takes a lot of apples to make it! I'll be going back very soon! Service is very friendly and it's nice and cool inside!

Yelp
Honestly, I think people are a bit loco to be spending $12-15 on a smoothie or $15-19 on an acai bowl. I was intrigued by the many Tiktok videos announcing the official opening of Loco Coco on Abbot Kinney. After seeing the bright interiors and elevated coconut bowls, I knew I wanted to give this spot a shot. I ended up stopping by prior to a beach day with some friends, because what could go better with a sunny day than a smoothie? I ordered the Pink Smoothie: pitaya, banana, strawberry, blueberry, agave, and coconut milk. The drink was tasty, but it really wasn't anything special. I was even more bummed to see that the packaging was average as well. They used a typical plastic cup, topped with a slurpee lid and boba straw. This would have been totally fine if the smoothie had been cheaper, or if the ingredients included super foods. The high prices just didn't seem justified.

Yelp
Ahh I hate to be the first to give this adorable aesthetic shop a low rating, but I cannot lie to you, dear reader, dear Yelper, or myself. And I rate and review every new place I try, so here it goes... 2/5 for their Nut Butter & Loco Açaí Bowl. It tasted like some metallic protein slush with average tasting not-so-sweet fruit on top, too. I am a bit of an açaí snob living in LA, so I was anticipating fresher ingredients for the $15+ price point. 5/5 for good customer service, pleasant staff. This rating is based solely on how the açaí bowl tasted. My company ordered the warrior bowl and it tasted too sour and acidic to me, unfortunately. I am just being truthful and think I was expecting a much tastier and fresher tasting bowl than what I was hoping and anticipated going in. Don't think I'll be coming back :'(

Yelp
Nice newly open spot on Abbot Kinney, super prime location with vibrant colors and fun modern outdoor patio with a dog water bowl and dog treats jar inside. They offer a huge variety of juices, smoothies, and bowls along with superfood add-ons for you to try. They also offer matcha, hot drinks, and coffee. They also offer a real coconut bowl you can have your health bowl served in and you can reuse and take it home with you for $4. You can also have it served in a pineapple - for $9. I had the Dazed & Infused Pitaya which is dragonfruit bowl, Mermaid bowl with blue algae, blue smoothie and pipe cleaner green juice. Cool fun spot with lots of outdoor seating good for groups especially if you are at the beach, workout, or just a snack in between strolling along. They also have Sonos inside and out. 100% vegan and they use solar panels for sustainability.

Yelp
LA people are about being cute & healthy this is how'd I'd describe this place. Did I get transported to Hawaii or some island? The signs & bright colored walls and chairs just entices you to step in. It's pretty spacious seating outside I was shocked at the variety of expensive ingredients they carried such as maca powder, blue magik 8 plenty of indriegents you'd find at an. Erewhon or nutritional store so this isn't just another cute smoothie spot they actually have the goods. We tried a smoothie & bowl, for an upcharge you can actually get the coconut bowl. Definitely a great spot to hangout with friends for açaí bowls, vegan soft serve & smoothies!

Yelp
They have the best smoothies with the best ingredients. I love that I can always count on them being vegan and gluten-free. The service is always great. They take their time and make the smoothies to perfection. The vibes outdoors are great for lounging and hanging with friends.

Yelp
Food is great! Vibes are great! Service is impecable and the ambiance provides sunshine (today) which is. Ice seeing as how it's been so gloomy lately.

Yelp
I'm sad I just spent $15 for a pitaya bowl that tastes weird... not sure what it is but the base tastes almost herb-y? Service was fine and the place is cute with a little outdoor patio out front but I don't think I will be giving Loco Coco a second chance, unfortunately!
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of the best açaí bowls I have ever had! Not to sweet, perfect consistency and it wasn't frozen. (Yes some places will send you açaí that's frozen!!!) I HIGHLY recommend the nut butter and loco. Especially if you like peanut butter. My ONLY complaint is that it's a bit small compared to others but quality over quantity

A S.

Yelp
For $16, you'd think your bowl would be correct , but unfortunately I was forced to have my bowl remade three seperate times because they were forgetting the toppings that came included with my bowl. It was unprofessional and rude to constantly become irritated when I asked, knowing it was your issue. When my bowl was remade, they didn't even create a new bowl , they just removed the toppings and left the base there to melt, which is disappointing and cross containmented my bowl

Yelp
The guy that was serving me was on his phone while i was ordering. I had to wait because NO ONE was in there. The only worker in there looked like he was on something as well, he was having a hard time speaking and he was very confused. Once I got the acai bowl it tasted nasty to be honest. I like the atmosphere though.

Schyler D.

Yelp
Below average smoothie bowl place in LA. The price is quite steep for what you get, and I don't think the bowl tasted very fresh. Paid almost $16 for the Nut Butter & Loco bowl that was less than full, and was filled with more granola than acai. The acai was creamy, but too creamy to the point of it tasting like ice cream rather than fresh fruit. The vibes of this place were cute and there was plenty of seating. I also received my bowl fairly quickly.
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute cafe with great food and drinks! Had an oat milk latte and nut butter & loco bowl and both were excellent. Friendly and helpful staff and super cute decor, both inside and outside. Dog friendly too

Yelp
Pruple rain bowl for the win! Staff were nice and the space is so comfortable. Definitely will come back again!
google avatar

Jasmine S.

Yelp
I got their build your own açaí bowl (no supplements or toppings besides granola) and it came out to $19 which is quite pricey for an açaí bowl. It was good though. I did almond milk and strawberry, banana, mango, and passion fruit in the base. I do wish there were some fruit toppings considering the price. Convenient location if you're strolling down abbot Kinney. Server was nice. Vibes were cool.

Yelp
Since we were out of luck with checking-in early at our hotel, Teej and I decided to go explore Abbot Kinney Boulevard to kill some time especially since the Venice Beach Boardwalk was in the area. And as we were walking back from the boardwalk, we had come across Loco Coco Venice. We decided we could use a drink (or two) and walked on in. We were promptly greeted by the employees and browsed the menu. Teej wanted more of a juice whereas I wanted a smoothie, so we settled on Pipe Cleaner (Green Juice) and the Yellow Smoothie. It was definitely pricey since I remember paying a little over $20 for both of our drinks but since we were on vacation, why the heck not? Once the drinks were made, we decided to sit down on one of the many seats available in their little patio to enjoy our drink. I wasn't sure what to expect but I definitely remember not having any high expectations since some of these "healthy" spots tend to be overpriced and don't deliver much on flavor but I was actually pleasantly surprised. The Yellow Smoothie consisted of Passion Fruit, Orange, Mango, Pineapple, and Lemon, and though the more prominent flavors were Mango and Orange, I really loved the smoothie. It was a perfect consistency and none of the flavors got watered down as my smoothie melted which was a plus. It was a perfect "sweet" drink without feeling yucky after. The Pipe Cleaner consisted of Kale, Pineapple, Green Apple, Ginger, and Basil, and is exactly what you would expect of a green type of juice. Even though I'm not a huge fan of ginger, both Teej and I agreed that they did a good job of also balancing out the flavors for the Pipe Cleaner because it was something you wouldn't mind drinking even though it had ingredients that can be off putting if not mixed correctly. Both of the drinks were different but equally satisfying and a perfect compliment to a bright and sunny morning. And lucky for us, we also got the okay to check-in as we were at Loco Coco. Overall, I would highly recommend Loco Coco Venice if you're in the mood for something healthy. While I can't speak to just how healthy this place is, I will say Teej and I felt energized and rejuvenated after and neither of us got a tummy upset or any "surprises" later that day. It was also a cute location to visit on Abbot Kinney Boulevard and a pretty quiet space away from crowds. It's definitely pricey but definitely worth a try.

Jessica s.

Yelp
The bowls are good and the outdoor space is very cute. Location is good. However, customer service is lacking. There is usually one person working there which is insane. Also their pos online ordering system doesn't work. I ordered on DoorDash and waited till my pickup window just to be told their system doesn't work. There was no apology it was just matter of fact and doesn't seem like they're even in any rush to fix it. So I had to wait while the one person working took orders inbetween making my order. If I'm paying 18 dollars for an açaí bowl I'd like at least have some form of a decent customer experience

Valentina R.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this fresh smoothie shop, it's bright, cheery, very open and airy inside. Outdoor seating is a lot of fun! Employee was wonderful. Explained all our choices and was very friendly and welcoming. Really good food!

Monique R.

Yelp
Location/experience: 10/10 Fun place on Abbot Kinney. Cool outdoor and design. Good place to hang out with little fountain and nice music. Plenty of sitting area. Knowledgeable staff, accommodating to allergies, flexible with alterations. Food was good. I got mermaid bowl and orange juice. Fresh, refreshing and delicious. Nicely presented as well.
google avatar

Daniel O.

Yelp
Paid $17 for a pitaya bowl. All the fruits were fresh and nicely presented but the pitaya base was definitely not the best I've ever had. It's taste reminded me of those RocketPops from the ice cream truck. The decor inside is nice and the service was not bad. Not much else to say about this place, the price alone will keep me from ever returning.

Obersand F.

Yelp
The best variety of healthy options to make happy an educated palate. I go here when I visit Venice beach for lunch. The patio vives, flavors, employees' service, ambiance and colors will definitively give the best of the experiences after a good walk.
google avatar

Alice H.

Yelp
Such a cute little spot! The acai bowl was good. No complaints, would return!
google avatar

Carolina C.

Yelp
These are my favorite acai bowls on the west side but the service has gone down hill for the past month. I came to get an acai bowl with my kids at 4pm today and I kid you not, it took them 25 min to make it. There was no people in front of me. None. When I asked the girl at the cashier she said that they ran out of batches of acai and they needed to make 8 batches at the same time. Which makes no sense to me. Also, it's 4pm in the afternoon. This should be prime time for the business. Can't you prepare better? Or at least be more apologetic for the wait? Because she was not.
google avatar

Mel Z.

Yelp
Such a cute place! Love the front patio. Smoothie bowls come with a free coffee before noon. Perfect way to end a beach walk or bike ride.
google avatar

Yelp
I like the place, stuff is good, big selection of açai bowls, i would like to have this place near my city aswell.

Yelp
Do not pay these sky high exorbitant prices for utterly tasteless smoothies!! By far and away the WORST smoothies I have ever had. We tried their Mango smoothie and a Pink smoothie. Both had absolutely NO FLAVOR! $30.00 wasted! Save your money and go anywhere but Loco Coco!!!
google avatar

Aleksandra A.

Yelp
Very delicious, best smoothie in the area! Good service, cozy place. Will recommend it to my friends.

Iuliia M.

Yelp
Bowls are delicious and cute!! Love this place Amazing vibe Mister Coco is my favorite
google avatar

Tatiana Z.

Yelp
Very nice place, best service and very tasty)) really recommend I was there with my friends and I'm sure coming back if you need healthy and tasty food that is what you need

Ofir N.

Yelp
Best açaí bowl in Los Angeles!! I ordered the Purple Rain Bowl this time and it was AMAZING!

Lindsay O.

Yelp
BEST SMOOTHIE BOWL EVER! just found this place & was blown away by the colorful atmosphere. Fruit is so fresh & the Barney's bowl is like a full meal! Highly recommend!

Charlie K.

Yelp
I would give a 3.5 star if I could. I went over to loco coco today on my lunch break for a quick açaí bowl. The restaurant is cute and the patio is a great place to hang when the sun is shining! The only downside I found was that it took 25 min for me to get my bowl and when I did, the fruits were not ripe and the flavor was lacking in the açaí.

Salma B.

Yelp
Lucy was who took my order my very first time. She was working alone and was still very efficient and friendly. My new favorite breakfast spot.
google avatar

Patricia C.

Yelp
When I first arrived the place was packed but Monica and the team did their best to work together to speed up the process
google avatar

Matan A.

Yelp
Great space! The wait was long when I went 3 weeks ago but it was very quick today. Best smoothies around here! Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Alyssa W.

Yelp
The smoothies and açaí bowls here are fantastic. The service is awful. I keep coming back anyway because it's great quality ingredients and delicious. But every time it's a very long wait even when I'm the only customer there. Also the staff I've interacted with never greet you, and seem annoyed. 10/10 food. 1/10 service. I'll be back anyway, but heads up to anyone who hasn't been here before.

Tamara B.

Yelp
OMG it's my favorite smoothie and açaí bowl place in LA! I just love their flavors, everything is always super fresh and delicious. attentive and kind service every time I come here. And of course the interior! It's just so pretty here, with all these plants outside, after long walk on abbot Kinney or the beach, what can be better place to rest and enjoy these treats.

İrem U.

Yelp
OMG! my new obsession. it's so good. you can also change any of the base or toppings. has a super nice patio as well. employees are super nice. loved the entire experience. beautiful outdoor space.

Jesse T.

Yelp
I've come here many times and plan on coming back even more. Mya is such a great help and has made great recommendations. The açaí bowls always hit the spot.

Gulnar B.

Yelp
A large selection of vegan smoothies and juices, a combination of atmosphere and beauty, as well as a nice bonus coffee. And the service is excellent, the staff is smiling and nice guys. We were with friends of 5 people for the first time, and since then our favorite place in Venice Beach, after the beach it is very nice to sit in a beautiful, cozy place and drink cold juice, listen to great music. I love Green Smoothie and Mermaid Bowl(the most delicious Bowls are here) orange juice. The service is very fast, and a very beautiful place, I definitely recommend it to everyone.

Yelp
This was my first time at Loco coco and I will def be back. First off the place has a really cool welcoming vibe and staff is very friendly. I wasn't sure what to order so me & my friend got a few options that the staff mentioned. They were all great! Extremely fresh and refreshing. I often eat açaí bowls and I have to say there's is one of the best I've had. Highly recommend and will def be back. Also side note it's one of the few places that has seating on Abbot Kinney so that was a huge plus.
google avatar

Francios D.

Yelp
Yummie, Yummie, Yummie!! This place kills it. Best Acai bowl in town. Most fun way to start your day w anti-oxidatent, low sugar healthy treat that's DEEELISH!! Highly recommend it. And vibes are great.

Reginald H.

Yelp
Slow as hell 30 min for a small bowl?? and only two people were in front of me? better to just go across the street to Butchers better size, price and service. literally, the worst don't do it!

Iran C.

Yelp
First of all the vibe here is immaculate! They have an Instagramable outdoor patio. The bowls were so tasty and the fruit was fresh. Would come back!
