Didn’t try their food only juice. The juice tasted good but it was ridiculously small and half filled with ice even though we didn’t ask for it. I understand that after the pandemic many food establishments need to cut corners but flexing customers is not the way.

got an açaí bowl here, i wish they had chocolate chips but it was still pretty good, $18 for a medium sized bowl 😐 but that’s generally açaí bowl pricing around here so. the outside area is cute and the main reason i stopped.

I really wanted to love this place. It's locally owned and the ambiance is so cute and I like that they marketed themselves as healthy and organic... I also appreciated that they don't load their bowls with extra sugars. But I came in on the 10th with my boyfriend and tried it for the first time and we were extremely disappointed. I asked the guy what the popular bowls were or what they were known for and he didn't really have an answer (he turned around to look at the menu and randomly picked one lol) So I picked the Barney's bowl and asked him if adding spinach would be good. He replied yes and so we ordered and waited. (One look at the website after ordering and I saw that they were famous for the mermaid bowl, but he didn't mention that and I had already ordered) IT TOOK FOREVER. We saw the sign saying it may take a bit .. so we patiently waited... And waited... We finally got our bowls and mine was the literal consistency of water. I've NEVER been given a soupy acai bowl like that before, from any place I've eaten at. (I went back inside to ask for a straw but the guy stayed in the back and never came out again) Mine was also missing multiple toppings. (Added photo for proof: no raspberries or kiwi or trail mix & granola) I didn't complain and dug in.. IT WAS SO BLAND. It tasted too earthy... like a bunch of stuff mixed together with no sweetness or clear flavor profile. I was so disappointed. I wondered if I made a mistake by adding spinach to mine, thinking it may have ruined it... so I tried my boyfriend's to see if it was any better... Bland and watery as well. I truly don't mind paying for expensive food, but it better be worth the price. My bowl was over $20 and it was garbage. I ate it for sustenance and because I don't like being wasteful... but it was hard to do. Quick summary: worker wasn't knowledgeable, he left off major toppings (I'm guessing he forgot things in the base as well but can't tell after it's blended) and the consistency was waaay too soupy. Flavor was too bland and earthy. Sadly, NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Looks like I'm still on the lookout for a really delicious acai bowl place in Venice. This place is for sure NOT IT.

Support small local business y’all! Great acai bowls, hand down the best! I don’t get stomach aches and that say it all! Bennie greets all of his customers and it’s personable experience! He deserves 5 stars. Also dog friendly❤️

Aesthetic acai bowl + smoothie spot on Abbot Kinney. Came here with a friend around 6:30 on a Wednesday and got an acai bowl plus smoothie for our pre-workout meal. The place is super cute, and their patio has outdoor seating where you can take plenty of cute pics for the ‘gram. There’s random Barbie dolls hidden in the bushes too, so keep an eye out for those! The menu is on the pricier side, but you do have to keep in mind you’re in Venice on Abbot Kinney. Credit cards accepted. If you decide to save the bowls as we did, the employee noted you can freeze the bowls, but they just get icy. The Barney bowl was full of healthy stuff and the blue smoothie I had was tasty. The chocolate smoothie was even better, though it was a bit heavier on the nut butter flavor than the cacao. Street parking was a pain, but it’s always a pain in that neighborhood. The employees were all very nice and helpful. Overall, it’s a cute spot to grab some fresh, healthy stuff.

Favorite place since now on in Venice. Something we were missing in here. Nice seating area with the healthy food. We ordered our bowl in coconut shell. It was so delicious and cute. The staff were helpful and fast with customer service.

I’ve tried many different bowls and from many different places but THIS IS THE SPOT for açaí and a cool refresh on a sunny day! The outside seating is so cute and a perfect spot to wait for your bowl! Yes, at times it can take awhile to make your bowl, but guess what, GOOD FOOD takes time! And I love that they make everything fresh and have staff that care about the food and how it is served. Every time I go, no matter how busy they are, the bowls are still as aesthetic and picture perfect, and they care! Stop the search and just eattttttttt!

A fun place to hang on Abbott Kinney. My colleague enjoyed the espresso. My açaí bowl left a lot to be desired. It was NOT cheap and they really go too light on the peanut butter.
