I think this is the best Hawaiian restaurant in Reno/Sparks. We ordered the garlic shrimp and chicken teri plates. The shrimps were big and juicy, this is also the best chicken teriyaki in the area. Plates are nice and big as well.

My partner and I dropped by Loco Ono for our final meal together since it was an easy grab-and-go poke and their pricing was fair. For $13, I was able to get a delicious tofu plant-based poke bowl with so many fixings. They offer all the usual toppings from edamame to seaweed salad, and all different kinds of sauces to amp up your bowl. I appreciated being able to select brown rice and mixed greens as my base for no additional charge. The regular size bowl was a large portion and was perfect for 1.5 meals, but of course I ended up eating it all at once. Our server was also super friendly and helpful. The moment I told her that everything would need to be vegan, she made sure to read out which sauces were vegan friendly without me asking, and even loaded up my bowl with so many veg toppings that it was bursting. The ambiance is fairly basic so I would consider this more for grab-and-go especially at night, but the price and quality of the poke is great and I would recommend to anyone.

What a treat! Our first time in for my 13th anniversary with my s/o and we were craving some food from home. Both of us grew up in Oahu and really were here for the good portioned poke and mochiko chicken. Poke was totally great! Large portions and they were open to giving extra toppings. We also ordered the mochiko chicken (with curry which tasted so authentic) and Katsu chicken as well. I had begun making mochiko chicken myself since I couldn’t find a place but I look no further, this will be the spot to go. Thank you to the staff who helped us with a good experience and help fulfill our missing home.

Very yummy food! Got the loco moco and some musubis and all of it was delicious. I was visiting Reno and I’m still thinking about that loco moco. There also were many toppings available for the poke. And the people working were very friendly too!

We ate dinner here a few nights ago and had a good experience overall. I follow a very strict gluten free diet for medical reasons, and felt like the staff was very knowledgeable of what I could and could not have on their menu. I got a poké bowl with tofu and loved it. My partner (not gluten free) got a combo plate (pictured) and felt the short ribs, while flavorful, were excessively fatty and chewy. That was our only complaint and the reason I’m giving four stars and opposed to five. He would not order the short ribs again but would be willing to try something else. He loved the chicken and the sides.

Loved the poke, the octopus was cooked perfectly, first time I ever had octopus in a poke place that wasn't rubbery absolutely tender

First time here and everything was amazing!! We both ordered the Chicken Katsu and no doubt the BEST we have ever had!! Not just in Northern Nevada but Phoenix, AZ as well!! Really good clean food, cooked to perfection with love you could tell! The service was awesome and welcoming, being our first time there, they were patient and very friendly and answered our questions about the menu. The really nice gentleman there even brought us some of their teriyaki sauce to try and that was really good as well. I like how they greet everyone that walks in and wishes everyone a good day when they leave. We are looking forward to going back and trying more things on the menu! Next time we're going to try the Short Ribs Tacos. Thank you Loco Ono, you guys ROCK!!

Google
I only had a musubi, which was delish, but I'll for sure return to try other meals because the service and the vibe from the employee that served me was so wonderful. They were just so chill and kind and it felt real and not forced. Nice to feel human and not like robots in a cityscape.

Yelp
I'm glad I gave this place another chance after previously visiting another location in Sparks a while back. I ordered the mochiko chicken to go and omg! Huge portion; I was able to easily share with my husband. I'm also a fan of the Mac salad here- not too mushy like some places in town. I also had a regular poke bowl ( not pictured ) which came with 3 proteins - salmon tuna and shrimp with all the amazing toppings you can think of . The service is always quick even if you don't call in an order . My food took 10 minutes which means they made my chicken fresh. Welcoming vibe with nice music always playing in the background right at the heart of midtown. Thank you all for the amazing food. I'm sure we will try every item on the menu eventually!

Yelp
I discovered over the summer what a colossal Poke fan I am. Most of our stops were in Ohio. Finally, we get our shot at LOCO ONO. Salmon Belly Fish Taco. Tasty, filling and a tad pricey. Well worth it! Portion size is pretty good, so it justifies. I love to build my own bowl, too. I start with brown rice then tuna, octopus, or salmon. The sesame shoyu sauce and top it off with either cucumber, edamame or ginger. Everything tasted fresh to me and a vast improvement over comparable sites back east. It looks like a decent sized restaurant where you can relax and feel no pressure. Unfortunately, we have to order to go and sit in the park with the pooches. I've given the family mutt so much tuna this summer, she thinks she's a cat. I'm just happy we got here and look forward to the next visit. 12/24

Yelp
Decided to try loco Ono, my first visit, Virginia location. Ordered a poke, and 1 spam musbi Service was quick and fast, as I am the only customer during that time, went in around 6pm. Was greeted at the door, welcoming atmosphere. The rice was little dry, the spicy shredded crab, has a distinct taste, little sour at first. Maybe it from the ponzu sauce, The highlight of the order is spam musbi, I will try the poke again at later date and give an update review.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've gone to Loco Ono's Midtown location; so when I was this n the mood for a quick meal other than the stereotypical fast food or Chinese cuisine, I headed to Loco Ono. When I entered the restaurant, it was completely devoid of customers, so I saddled up to the counter quickly and began ordering my custom poke bowl. Aside from my regular poke bowl with tuna, salmon and scallop, I also ordered a small bowl of crab and rice bowl. The two counter attendants were really friendly and nice, they expertly assembled my order. The bowls' potion size are still pretty decent and they both taste good, but the price seemed a little higher than before, $30+ including tip for two bowls is kind of a little much, right?

Yelp
First time checking out this place. It was quite tasty. We were greeted right when we came in and the staff were friendly. We ordered two mixed plates with (1) kalbi and chicken katsu and (2) chicken katsu and garlic chicken. Both were delicious and good portions. It came with 2 scoops of rice and a side of mac salad. The inside is nice and open with a handful of low tables and a larger communal high top. They have a fountain soda machine and canned/bottled soda options. Bonus there's a poke bar as well. We'd go back to try some other dishes...I want to try their musubi too.

Yelp
First time at the midtown location and it was fabulous! The Kalbi came out so hot and the katsu was so crispy. I love their curry gravy! I did notice customers coming in after us ordering to go and their food came out quicker than our order in but overall a great meal!!

Yelp
I'm hoping the folks at Loco Ono see this. My family and friends frequent this place often. We've even had the catering, which is quite expensive. We love the food. Both the poke and hot plates. It is very noticeable that the poke offerings have gotten pretty stingy. The amount of protein and toppings are teeny for the increased price. Hot plate portions are still good. Please don't tell your employees to give minimal portions. I barely got a spoonful of seaweed salad even after asking for more!

Yelp
This place is so good that I have people bring me a Loco Moco whenever they're coming from Reno. Their loco moco is amongst my 5. A total bang for buck despite Loco Moco being a burger steak. It's super quiet and they're quick too! I wish they had a place in San Diego or the Bay Area! I'll be back every time I go to Washoe County.

Yelp
let me start off with saying being born and raised in las vegas has left me with a very high standard for hawaiian food. i don't think the hawaiian food here is even comparable to my favorites back home, but loco ono is the best reno has by far. their hot plates are a solid eat, flavor hits the classic hawaiian feel but they don't have anything special going on. I always feel like their kalbi is always a bit too chewy and their katsu texture is a tad off. I feel like it's a bit too thick and soggy. their poke is also nothing too special, you can the tell the fish isn't the freshest and usually isn't cut well. it is also very expensive, a regular is $16.95 which is pretty absurd for the quality. I'd say just cut at least $2 off and i'd come in more often for poke. the service here is fantastic. for the poke bowls they always loaaaaad the toppings on so it makes you feel a bit better about the price. they work fast and are always polite. overall enjoy coming here and enjoying my food. comfy and plenty of seating.

Yelp
Great food!! Mediocre service. To begin with, it's pretty much self-service; you order at the counter and pick up your food when your number is called. Having said that, it would be nice if the person taking your order showed some appreciation for you being there...the woman taking our order was 'preoccupied' making change for a foodie pickup or something. Acted like she couldn't care less that we were there. On the bright side, the Hawaiian breakfast was awesome! As good as anything we've had on Oahu or Maui. It was hot and delicious! I very much recommend this place...get it to go.

Yelp
I am absolutely obsessed! I cannot wait to come back for more of the incredible bowl that I had. It was a double salmon poké bowl with crab salad, mango, cucumber and garlic/ sesame seed topping. I loved the amount of wonton chips, and then also the freshness of the spring mix and the ginger together. I will most definitely get this again! I also love their house sauce and recommend it highly for the recognizable Poké flavor. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They really helped us to understand how everything works and walked us through when we said it was our first time there. It was a very warm day on our visit so it was really nice to walk into a well air conditioned dining room. Everything is very clean and organized and the decor couldn't be more perfect

Yelp
I usually order take out from loco ono at least once a month. From their poke, to plate lunch, to musubi. I've enjoyed every item. My favorites are the Teri beef, crab salad. People are always nice and the food is consistent.
google avatar

Yelp
The chicken katsu lunch plate was great and everything I asked for. Chicken, two scoops of rice and macaroni salad is all part of the plate. I also tried my wife's chicken teri plate and the flavor was amazing. The food here is really good.

Yelp
5 stars for the poke bowl that I had for a quick dinner! It was delicious. Great compilation of ingredients that were tasty a d healthy too! Their portions were just right because they weren't skimpy with the serving sizes. Prices are pricey but overall reasonable for the quantity and quality. The service was friendly and the food was served quickly as it wasn't too busy. The menu has many choices and can't wait to return to try more things! Love that we have awesome Hawaiian food in town!

Yelp
I got my Hawaiin-Asian food fixing! After days of eating no rice I was more than happy to find this place and they didn't disappoint. I got a 2 meat plate consisting of bone in kalbi beef and teriyaki chicken. Both were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavors. Portion was a bit smaller than what I'm used to but I'm not surprised, post pandemic a lot has changed. I also got a spam musubi and soft drink to go, with a refill on my soda. My musubi is saved for post hike. Their poke station is impressive. I don't eat any raw fish so I'm typically shy of the poke station but curiosity drew me to it. To my amazement they have cooked stuff! Shrimp, octopus (must try) masago (fish eggs) tofu, edamame and other goodies. I wish they have unagi (eel) or cooked salmon but they do not. I sure hope they add that someday. They do have a Hamachi Kama (grilled or baked yellowtail) entree which I would love to try next time. There are a few benches outside which was where we sat to eat so we can have our dog with us. I suggest a small blanket and water for the pooch in case it's hot. The staffs, Daniel and his colleague were friendly and efficient. Venue is clean and not crowded. Quiet, peaceful. Good place to do some work or have a quick lunch. You do need a code to use restroom. Decor is nice and modern without being tacky. On the down side it was very cold in there so I was in a hurry to get outside to warm up. If it hadn't been so cold I would've loved to eat inside. A bit of upbeat music or a movie/show on tv would've been nice also while waiting, just a suggestion. I'll have to come back and brave their poke station haha. Thanks guys!

Yelp
Delicious! Fast preparation, friendly staff, and delicious food! I am originally from the island of Guam and a lot of our foods from Hawaii is similar. The poke was great and you can order it by the lb. The ambiance is spacious and clean. An awesome casual spot to grab some eats before heading to your destination too. A highly recommended spot in Reno!

Yelp
This quick service restaurant consistently dishes up aloha in every plate lunch. Garlic chicken plate comes with two scoops of rice and mac salad. Generous portions, fast & friendly service makes this place a popular pick in our home. They also have a fresh poke bar with a variety of proteins, toppings and sauces. The restaurant is light, bright, neat and clean with a touch of aloha. Conveniently located on the south end of Midtown.

Yelp
Nice people, great menu, fantastic food. Ambiance needs a little help, but you can't eat that. The loco moco was outstanding. My wife had a poke bowl the was fresh and beautiful and delicious. We'll be back soon! Thanks Lico Ono!

Yelp
Really good Hawaiian BBQ food! Coming from LA where there's practically a Hawaiian restaurant on every corner, we were pleasantly surprised to find such a good one in Reno! The staff that runs it are very friendly as well. We ordered a mixed plate with short ribs and teriyaki chicken. I love that they cut the pieces up because most places I've gone to don't. The flavors were fantastic, and I also loved that they have the macaroni salad separate from the rest of the food. I don't mind mixing things, but macaroni salad against rice isn't my favorite.

Yelp
Solid hawaiian spot with the island vibes. Great beverage selection, spam musubi and solid plate lunch and poke bowl options for everyone in your group.
google avatar

Yelp
My family's go-to are the Poké bowls. The prices have raised a bit since the past couple years but seafood isn't cheap so it's understandable. They also have a variety of Hawaiian style dishes and drinks.

Yelp
Just finished lunch at Loco Ono. Lots of very fresh and tasty food for sure. My first visit and the guys were extra helpful and patient. Chose the smaller bowl with white rice, tuna, scallops and salmon. A side of crab salad and some ginger finished the plate. The crab salad was kind of a surprise because I thought the bowl was finished but they offered. Glad they did, it was very good. What most impressed me was how clean and orderly the serving area was kept. All of the proteins I chose were fresh. Something I have missed with Poke before was the mixture of sauces complementing the proteins. I chose creamy miso and they asked what others I'd like. So I chose spicy mayo and they suggested unagi to add some sweetness. Good suggestion. Next time, and there will be a next time, I'll go with the same sauces but a little less. The proteins were all fresh and I want more flavor from them. If you are not too familiar with Poke just ask. Both servers were very helpful and I'm pretty sure you will enjoy Loco Ono. There is plenty of parking and it's right on Virginia. Do give it a shot.

Yelp
I love Loco Ono! Nice spot in midtown with great food. I always get the teriyaki chicken plate which never lets me down. Very good portions. The service is always nice and the area is always clean. The only recommendation I would make is to get extra sauce which is a small fee, but definitely worth it.
google avatar

Mahshid F.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in Reno with fresh food and a good selection of protein options. I usually order scallops, tuna, and salmon for protein and always ask for their creamy miso sauce. It's not too crowded during lunch.

Yelp
Immediately ACE was very welcoming, informative, this place is very clean, the ambiance takes you away from Reno and back to the islands. Food amazing! Poke bowl Chicken katsu Garlic Chicken

Yelp
Visiting from the Bay Area; my fiancée and I typically visit Hawaii once or twice a year, so we're constantly looking to fulfill our Hawaiian food cravings. Wow - the food was incredible. So happy we found this spot! The mochicko chicken was juicy, crunchy, and packed tons of flavor. The kalbi was perfect - tender and charred. Very generous portion sizes and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yeuk Y.

Yelp
Our fave Hawaii food on the mainland. We get to come here once a year for her volleyball tournament and we're so grateful that it's as fun as it was last year. Humble little spot with quick service and relaxing music to enjoy our moment of deliciousness. Poke: "killer" and "fresh" according to my daughter. Garlic shrimp - super crispy, juicy and tasty Kalbi - perfectly grilled, marinated short ribs with perfect amount of chew. Come taste some yumminess.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the Poke Bowl and the small bite Musubi Chicken Katsu. The staff is very friendly and it's my go to special dinner! The place is very clean and comfortable. You do have to wait a little for hot foods but it's worth it. Also the house sauce is just bomb.

Yelp
Picked up lunch on Sunday for myself. I ordered the ahi poke, seaweed salad and a side of rice. Ordering was easy as well as pickup. The inside is super cute. There's a quirky little sign that says "do you poke on the first date" I just loved that. Food quality was phenomenal. I want to try their bowls and plate lunches. One of the better poke spots in town
google avatar

Lily S.

Yelp
Pretty good Hawaiian food for Reno. All the rice plates that we got were good, even though the chickens were all fried, they were the perfect combo of crispy and juicy. The poke was a bit on the fishy side especially paired with the plates, probably don't need to order that again. The service was a bit on the slow side but friendly. Super casual lunch spot.
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Decided to stop by and try out their poke bowls and I was impressed with everything I ordered. The fish was dynamite, the sauces were delicious, and the additions were perfect. The selection was so varied that you can have something new everyday. The service was great and the place is clean and pleasant. Everything about Loco Ono is top notch. Absolutely will be going back soon.

Yelp
WOW one of the best poke places I've been to! What I liked best about this place was the options and how you can mix and match every part of the plate. I ordered: Large poke plate with White rice and Won Ton chips Spicy Tuna and Salmon with Spicy mayo and Sesame Shoyu Double crab topping, Seaweed salad, Mango, Tobiko, Edamame. I loved that we could get both rice and won ton chips. It was like having a bowl and poke nachos. The portion size was very fair and all of the toppings were delicious. I've had poke in hawaii and this place was very comparible. The service and staff was really food. They were super helpful since it was our first time there and dint' know what to order. The restaurant itself is really new and clean. Lots of parking right outside. Definitely will be back when I'm in the Reno area.

Yelp
YUM. Poke is always a craving for me and Loco Ono always solves it. Their regular size poke is extremely generous portion, I usually get both mixed greens and rice as a base, the three scoops of protein are large, and they have an amazing selection of sauces. I love the service here, the parking is easy, the restaurant is always clean, and there are plenty of places to sit!
google avatar

Mike Y.

Yelp
Got the loco moco rice plate and a mix grill plate (with chicken katsu curry and kalbi) on a Friday evening. Both plates were super fresh and yummy. Definitely were great satisfying comfort food. When we went, the restaurant was totally empty. I assume they do a lot more take-out business than eat-in for the evenings. Parking was a little crowded but no problem at all. BTW, the place is super clean. Base on the food, I totally recommend Loco Ono if you want a poke bowl or cooked hawaiian food.

Yelp
Mochiko chicken is always good food .. poke bowls are good too. Service is chill, always nice. The room is clean and easy to get to.

Yelp
So, I've been here a handful of times, probably have gotten grubhub though more than anything. Best poke in town by far, from my adventures watching travel videos, seems to be most authentic as far as Hawaiian recipes go, too. 1/2 lb is more than enough for 2 pple fyi. Finally, I tried the kimchi tako, I was scared it'd be too hot, but it wasn't bad. Spice is there, but not overwhelming. We love to buy poke, side of seasoned rice, and the snack wasabi flavored seaweed sheets to eat our poke. I did have a grubhub order for a customized grubhub poke bowl. When it arrived, it was missing a few toppings, some premium. I sent an email to the email on the website as more of an FYI, wasn't looking for compensation. The owner gave me his number to call when I went in next time, I really thought I'd never use it but 3 months later I texted him about getting his garlic rice upgraded for free on delivery app (super sick, and my ONLY option for dining out right now). He said absolutely, and everything came out perfect. Had another short friendly convo, which was nice bc he didn't make me feel like I was wasting his time. Cons: Not many. I MISS the udon so truly, madly, deeply, and wish his garlic rice was crispy (like gyu bbq's is). There is a great garlic burn to the rice, but it's definitely just steamed. Pros: Food is good and fresh. Amazing customer service. Customer FOR LIFE

Yelp
Sometimes I go to Poke places and I feel a little overwhelmed, not knowing exactly what to do. At Loco Ono they made it very clear and the staff was quite helpful. Plus, you get so much fish and crab! It was delicious and everything was super fresh. I loved how you could get a variety of sauces and crunchy things on top. The ambience is basic, but clean and modern. I have to admit that the serving was big enough that I saved part of it and had it the next day. Very yummy even after a day.

Yelp
3.75? Decent service. Except for the restaurant itself was freezing cold. Everyone in there was going out to their cars to get jackets. I told them, they said that their AC works a little too well. Probably something you should adjust if your patrons aren't comfortable. We got a combo with beef Teri and chicken. The beef was dry and they charge for extra sauce. It comes on raw green cabbage with white rice and Hawaiian Mac salad on the side. We also had the honey shrimp. It was a sweet sauce reminiscent of honey walnut shrimp without the nuts. Fried but not a super thick coating thank goodness. It was served with the same sides. All and all it was ok. Might be back in a pinch.

Yelp
I thought I'd written a review for Loco Ono before, but apparently not! The last visit was quite a while ago, and I loved the food, but this visit with my friend was even better. Very casual, but super clean place. We came here after "rejected" by a snobby Italian restaurant for not having a reservation for lunch, so the heartiness, both for the place and the meal, was just perfect. Turned out that was exactly what we needed. I had a chicken katsu lunch, and it was one of the best I've had in a long time. Crispy outside, but tender inside. The meal was plentiful, and I took some home for lunch next day! The rice is fresh and fluffy, and the macaroni salad was so good; made us nostalgic for Japanese deli food from our childhood. I always miss some fresh veggies when I go for Hawaiian food, and this wasn't an exception. I would have loved to have something veggie or fruity, but that's just how it goes with the cuisine. I'd also would loved to have some sugar-free drinks, but we didn't particularly look for it in the fridge (and the counter person didn't know if they had any.) Next time I'll try their poke.

Yelp
Time to update and I need to downgrade my rating a bit to 4.5 Stars. I'm rounding up for service and consistency, but I'll explain the rest below. I'm a HUGE fan of Loco Ono and think their Hawaiian style eats are delicious and incredibly cravable. I love ordering the Mixed Plate with Teri Beef and Mochiko Chicken. The beef is supremely tender and the teri sauce has a lot of umami without being overly sweet, and the chicken is incredibly crispy, slightly spice from the sauce, and a great textural compliment to the rest of the meal. Their mac salad is also rich, well seasoned and a great way to reset the palate between the other flavorful items on the plate. The staff is always super friendly, fast, and happy to answer your questions. They enjoy their jobs and take pride in the product and the experience they provide customers. It makes all the difference and it's one of the biggest reasons I love this place. The poké is the only reason I'm bumping my rating down, and it's because it has not been consistent in my experience. I really like that they sell poké by the pound here in classic Hawaiian styles and you don't have to make a bowl. The fish is cut into the appropriate cubes, the seasonings and sauces are on point, but there has been more than one occasion where it left me unsatisfied. This last time the tuna was mushy, the seaweed salad had a terribly off flavor, and the sauce ratio was off making the poke way too sweet. There's a little user error in the sauce, but the rest comes down to quality. I can't really drop the stars because I'm a raving fan and I'll be back. I just hope this feedback reaches the appropriate parties so they can tune it up. EAT AT LOCO ONO. You will not be sorry!

Yelp
Came here for lunch today, two girls were there upon entering to help us navigate through their menu. They were sweet and helpful:) I tried the build your own poke bowl with salmon and tuna. I got the kids size and I'm glad I did, it was a good size and I couldn't even finish it. Everything tasted so fresh! The hubs got the two protein mix plate with garlic chicken(comes breaded) and the kalbi. Both were so delicious! Cooked perfectly and the flavors were awesome! The kalbi was so juicy! The portion size is huge!! Also comes with two heaping scoops of rice and a side Mac salad. Our son got the kids chicken katsu. The chicken was cooked so crispy. Just needs a little salt in the breading? But that's my only negative honestly everything is so good. What a great spot! Definitely will be back! Maybe tomorrow;)

Yelp
Yelp check-in needs to be updated - No more noodles sold here. Quality/Quantity - Mixed Plate, Kalbi & Mochiko Chicken - Good flavors, consistent. I think I order the same thing everytime I come here. Should start trying the other recipes. Regular Size Poke - I think we got spicy tuna (my favorite), hamachi, and salmon? Looks like they are carrying some "nicer" beers, at least more of what I prefer, see picture. No more noodles - So the Yelp check-in needs to be updated. Food quality is always consistently good. Atmosphere - Good size local business. Cool decor, see pictures. Self service drink station, or you can order bottles, etc. One unisex restroom, you need a code. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 8pm. Service - 6 stars, the "kids" were so professional and good. They called us sir and madam, etc. So polite. But when there were no customers, they were joking, laughing, and having fun, just like regular kids. Great job on your customer service program. Or a great job hiring your front of house. Price - $37 + generous tip. I feel it is pricey for Hawaiian food, but I guess you have to pay for quality. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2017 with your 2 Poke Kings and this location since 2019. See you soon, and maybe I will order something different...

Yelp
First time at loco ono! Loco ono doesn't take phone orders but they do take orders online. Wait time for food was 30-40 mins. Portions are generous. Food is fresh and very well seasoned. Orders come with two scoops of rice and small container of mac salad. My husband said it's his new favorite spot !

Yelp
Broken bathroom, and not really a sit down for dinner kind of place. But the food is very good. Highly recommend there poke bowl! Best for takeout.

Yelp
Just your basic Hawaiian, poke was ok. Didn't choose it. Ended up with the Portuguese sausage and eggs over rice. Didn't finish it. Just my 2 cents.

Yelp
Visiting Reno and my first time dinning at Loco Ono, when I arrived the staff was friendly, very attentive to my order. Restaurant is very clean and inviting, they had a large poke selection and island favorites. I ordered a poke bowl to go and Chicken Katsu to dine in the restaurant. My food was hot made to order and was delicious just like island food in Hawaii. The Mac salad reminds me of my families it was perfect great flavor and was not complicated. I definitely looking forward to dinning again.

Yelp
Honestly, this place is still very good. Can never go wrong coming here, especially during your lunch break. Highly recommend their mochiko chicken and Teri beef if you're not feeling poke that day.

Yelp
I have been wanting to check this place out for a while, so I took the opportunity to stop in for lunch one day when I was in the area. The location is pretty easy to find, and I'm happy there is plenty of parking (can be an issue in Midtown). During lunch hour, it wasn't too busy. I was able to go right to the counter and place an order for the teriyaki beef plate and a poke bowl. The teriyaki beef plate comes with two scoops of rice and a small container of Mac salad. I ended up getting a kids sized poke bowl (one scoop of protein). The other options were regular (three scoops of protein) and large (I believe it was 5 scoops of protein). I would have gone for two scoops of protein if the option was there, but the kids size ended up being perfect. After going across the counter and choosing my additions to the poke bowl, I only had to wait an additional 3-5 minutes for the teriyaki beef to be done. Overall the food was tasty! I really liked the poke bowl and everything tasted fresh (tuna, crab, brown rice, cucumber, edamame, avocado). You have to pay extra for the avocado (which was a little browned). I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area!
