The Locust Cider and Craft Beer Redmond location rides in the heart of Redmond Town Center. Lots of free parking close by. The space is colorful and expansive. Bar top and standard tables. It is spacious. There is a nice outdoor sitting area as well. Their main focus is cider and they had an extensive selection. On the craft beer side they only had two cholces. The Pilsner was nothing special but the Ale was very good. The ciders were very good. I especially enjoyed the blackberry. Some places make their ciders to sweet but they found the balance here. Food selection is limited as you see in the photos. I ordered the Ballard Pizza and it was good. Nice side to the sampler I chose. Service was fast, friendly, and the place is very clean and well maintained. If you enjoy cider this would be a great choice! Hope they expand their beer selection bringing in some darker brews.

Google
Great service! Amazing ciders! I loved this place and many of its locations around Seattle! The ciders are completely delicious! They have seasonal flavors like the vanilla cider or cherry black cider! I recommend ordering a flight so you can taste more flavors and choose your favorite. My favorite one is the coffee cider, but sometimes it is difficult to find.

Google
Enjoy their cider and a nice little location with board games and video games to play. Only complaint is a flight/taster is $20, I think this is the most expensive flight I've bought and I've been to a lot of breweries.

Google
This was a great stop. Especially for an out-of-towner like me. I was in for a week with a classroom 40 and I told everybody to meet us over here. It does not show on their menu and I was looking forward to having a flight of six different ciders to try. Fortunate for me that they do offer flights everyday. I believe it was $17 for a flight of six good sized drinks. I was able to choose my six from a selection of 12 to 20 on the board. I added an order of mini corn dogs which came with a bag of chips. It was all tasty and good.

Google
Great selection of ciders (12-14) and a few beers. Flatbread is great as well. Nice industrial loft atmosphere with lively outdoor seating near the fountain at Redmond Town Center. Come Saturday evenings at 7 for trivia night.

Every mom’s dream - a water park right next to a cider house *clap clap clap* Well planned owners. If I could meet you, I would you the biggest mamabear hug. The ciders are absolutely delicious. I had to have a variety, of course an original or be my base line compare. My favourites: - Honey Pear (sweetness warning!) - Cold pressed - Winter Warmer - Citrus

We had the best time! Good cider and fun games. The board game selection was a little sparse but we had fun playing the Super Nintendo. Shout out to Abby for their great recommendations and service 😊

Google
Little charming cider bar/pub in the Redmond town center. They have a decent selection of ciders on tap, so we went with a flight. If you are lucky to get a spot near the wall, they have a few NES minis set up for guests to play. We came in on trivia night, so we had a lot of fun joining in while we were there. If you like cider, you should check it out

Yelp
Great local spot to grab a great variety of Small brew ciders. I had the vanilla bean and loved it so much I bought another and grabbed a 6pack to-go Sampled many others and all were great! Will try to find in local market and enjoy again

Yelp
Permanently closed and sorry to see it gone.... What great in the spring and sinner just not a winter hand out. I'm sure the increasing rents at Redmond Town Center didn't help....

Yelp
I'm writing this review for my mom knowing she loves this place and loves cider. This place seriously has some of the best cider I've ever had. They have so many flavors and seasonals and everyone is exceptional. When I saw this place open in Redmond Town Center it immediately grabbed my attention, and ever since the first glass I was hooked. This places cider is also in local stores in packs of 6, so you can even get it anywhere. The atmosphere in this place is pretty cool, they have a lot of seats and outdoor seats. They have a lot of events and public games available to play making the experience more fun. And a couple food options to choose from which are all just okay. The workers I've met here are always super kind and helpful, and the prices are super good for how amazing the cider is. I definitely recommend trying the cider at this place knowing it's the best I've ever had!

Yelp
Have been meaning to pop in to this version of Locust Cider for a while, so a friend and I visited this location on a Friday evening to wind down after work. The location is spacious, and there were already a lot of people for early evening, so it was nice to see it busy. Lots of people playing board games or just drinking and eating. My friend ordered a beer, and I went for a flight of 3 ciders and a beer (which are always the perfect small pours). The bar staff were really friendly and managed the crowd coming in and out really well. The drinks were good, I usually get the OG from here so that was definitely my favorite. This would be a great location when out with a group. I enjoy the atmosphere of the Woodinville location more, but that's a personal choice.

Yelp
Chill cidery in Redmond Town Center with plentiful indoor and outdoor seating, games, toaster oven bites and a variety of ciders. We tried a few flights of ciders ($3.3 for 4 oz Taster) - there were a couple interesting flavors like dill and smoked blueberry. There's a variety of ciders from dry to semi-sweet to sweet. Also got a pepperoni flatbread ($8) and a garlic cheese bread ($8). The woman helping us out was super friendly :)

Yelp
Sometimes you come across places that are far more meaningful than you could possibly imagine. This is one of those places, for me at least. I was walking around the shopping center killing some time before my movie when I found this gem. I love a good beer or cider so I went in. I saw the list of drinks and immediately knew I wanted a Chai. It was as yummy as I expected and desired. I started looking around and realized they had gaming systems and board games. What made it special for me though, was when I saw the sign about Hydrocephalus. I did a double take. This business donates money to the Hydrocephalus Association because the founders daughter has this condition. In fact this business allows them to meet her needs. This is a family run business and the family lives in western Washington. This was special to me because in May, just 5 months ago, I found out I had a brain tumor and Hydrocephalus. I now have a VP shunt for this condition. I've never seen Hydrocephalus spoken about in a business, but seeing this really felt so powerful to me. I was meant to come into this place and I'm so glad I did. I will be back. Also, it's dog friendly. Thank you for providing a great drink, a fun atmosphere, being dog friendly and using your business to help others. Wishing your daughter continued health as she endures this condition. It can be quite frightening, but look at what you've achieved to help her! So cool!

Yelp
I'm always a sucker for a great cidery in any city that I visit. Since falling in love with a cidery by my house in California, I've found that I prefer dryer or tart ciders (english style) as the lack of added sugar generally means no/less hangovers. That said, I love Locust Cider - most of their ciders are sweeter - definitely more similar to some of the ciders that Americans are used to and they have a MASSIVE variety of delicious ciders. I tried the Cold Pressed Apple, Juicy Peach and Original Dry ciders and I enjoyed all of them. This facility is part of the Redmond Town Center and was pretty crowded for a Tuesday evening. They have classic video games at the tables, board games, and pizzas for purchase! I enjoyed my time here and encourage you to check them out!

Yelp
I'm not a huge cider fan, but I had a fun time here with my friends who do love cider. Locust Cider had a lot of ciders to choose from in a fun setting, located in Redmond Town Center. It's nice to know that there are tasting rooms that are closer than Woodinville (I still love you, Woodinville!) to Bellevue. With this tasting room being located in the Redmond Town Center, it's a great location, next to many other shops and eateries, with plenty of parking. This particular spot is located on the lower level next to Starbucks. We visited around noon on a Saturday and the place was pretty quiet, with just a few other patrons doing tastings, including a frequent customer who was sitting at the bar. It's always a good sign when a business has loyal customers! For the four of us, we were able to snag one of the tables AND we were allowed to bring our dogs inside! Even better! My friends and I each did a tasting, which included your choice of six tasters for about $20. There was a lot of different ciders to choose from, including two of their hard teas and rotating, guest beers. Of all the ciders I tried, I liked the lavender the most since I'm a huge lavender fan. The employee also recommended mixing up the different cider flavors, to make your own creation. Overall, this was a fun place for some cider tasting, as they have a lot to offer in a chill, laidback atmosphere. I just love that you can bring your dog here! In addition to drinks, they have a food menu, mainly consisting of pizzas and snacks. There were also board games to play and TVs playing sports, along with outdoor seating.

Yelp
Must visit! Locust was a great spot for a summer cider tasting. It's located in the space where the See's Candies used to be (next to starbucks). My boyfriend and I both got a flight and then shared a small pesto pizza. The flavors were great. I'm a huge fan of blackberry, but their watermelon was definitely the surprise winner. Service was all chill, nothing special. I'd definitely recommend coming on a sunny day - its a great people watching spot and is even better when theres live music in the center! I'm looking forward to coming back! Locust also has a membership program for anyone looking to amp up their cider game. Thinking about it myself....

Yelp
- good cider - quick service - favorites were peach ginger, cold press, and honey pear - I like cider flights

Yelp
Was pleasantly surprised to find Locust Cider in the outdoor mall In Redmond. Before taking in a movie at the cinema located in the sane outdoor mall, I arrived early enough to check out all the tempting restaurants, bakeries, and the cider house. It made for an easy decision to check out Locust further after the movie. I had Locust's other locations on my radar to visit, but a brewery always seemed to distract me. lol Well, not this time, and I was glad to finally get into a cider house, as there are quite a few in the greater Seattle area ( way too easy to get FOMO here!) lots of cool and colorful locust decorations throughout the indoor part of the cider house, plenty of seating options inside and out, the patio luckily was covered, so even with the intermittent showers, it was comfortable to seat outside, with a really nice surprise of a local musician playing various instruments to a backdrop of recorded music, it made for a very relaxing Friday late afternoon. Getting back to the cider.. the cider tender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the ciders, and it was great to try samples of the very many choices and flavors, blackberry, pear, apple, and peach, just to name a few. The cold brewed coffee cider was definitely a interesting tasting choice, definitely going to explore that one more next time. After much deliberation, I choose the honey pear, which was very pear flavored, delicious, and very sweet. My favorite so far was the juicy peach, reminded me of the fresh picked tree ripened peaches of back home in California, very peachy and delicious, not too sweet, allowing all that delicious peach flavor to come out. Another great thing Locust does is, proceeds from purchases go to fund research for Hydrocephalus, a incurable brain condition, another reason along with their great tasting ciders to support them. They have to go options as well as a few draft beer options if you prefer beer, one of which is their own. They also have wine and soda choices. Looking forward to returning to enjoy more tasty ciders and the patio seating. Happy Yelping! God bless and Cheers!

Yelp
Many beer options to choose from so definitely recommend getting a flight lol. They have some food options as well.

Yelp
We typically do not like ciders, but boy were we wrong. The ciders here are sooo flavorful and lack the 'vinegar' taste. My favorite wa s the smoked pineapple, kitty Blues, and the Honey cider. We actually bout a grunt of the kitty blues - we loved it that much! Now let's talk about the Frito Pie.. flatbread with bison chili and Fritos, it is sooooo good. It's comfort food, it's filling and has that delightful Frito crunch. You'll want to order 2. Locust is a great spot and we will be back for sure!

Yelp
I love their Woodenville location so we decided yo go to Redmond after two years of passing in front of it. It is very well located besides the Redmond Town Center Starbucks. It has tables outside and inside. Dogs and kids are welcome! That is so so so much appreciated when having a big family. You can come with friends and family altogether! You can bring your food or try their flatbreads too :) They have a very good variety of cider. I believe it's the same in both locations. It will vary depending on the season. That's a good thing so you don't get bored and also to try new different things throughout the seasons. We love their Sour Cherry, Blackberrys, and the one with different berries too. But the Pear is quite well also! I guess you could have one of their flights and try everything first. Then a 16oz or 20oz glass of your favourite. We went on a Sunday and thanked them they are always open! They have only one restroom but it never gets crowded (fortunately). Ambience is good. It can be a bit quiet before and at noon. But then it gets nice. Not too loud. They also have Nintendo so youngsters can play.

Yelp
I'm not much of a fan of beer so when I saw this cider place on Yelp I was really excited. I got a flight of four and chose peach, honey pear, grapefruit and apple. The ciders were really refreshing and flavorful. My favorite was the peach and honey pear, while the grapefruit was my least favorite since it was more tart like a fresh grapefruit. I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Redmond!

Yelp
Ok, so I ended up stopping by Locust in the Redmond Town Center after getting my watch fixed. The day was hot, and I was tired. So, wandering in, I was greeted by the smiling face of CeeCee. (who is amazing btw) She introduced me to the options on the menu and gave me a rundown on the different types of ciders and some of the fun mixes you can do with them. I don't know what happened but after a flight, i found myself signing up for their Swarm club. Totally worth it by the way. When you walk in, you wouldn't think you were sitting in the glorified strip mall that is the RTC. It feels great in there. The ciders are really good. I have never been much into ciders, but found the options both fun and fulfilling. Looking forward to see what flavors they come up with. If you enjoy dry ciders, they have you covered. Wet ciders... They have that too! (bad puns). The Vanilla Bean is great, and easily paired with several of the other flavors. For the non cider folks out there, give it a try. They have a few beers on tap and jones soda's for the kids. Lastly, the small pizzas are great. I have only had one, but it was an immediate favorite. The staff is great, attentive and quick to offer advice if you are unsure of what to have. Give them a try.

Yelp
This place is located in the middle of Redmond Town Center, next to the Starbucks. The decorations are fun, and I like the decorated locusts on the walls and on the glasses. For drinks, you order at the counter and bring the drinks back to your table. There's a good selection of ciders of varying sweetness and dryness. You can also take home growlers and cans. The staff were friendly, and it was easy to keep a tab going. Prices are decent, and they vary depending on which cider you order. For descriptions, I was surprised by how much attention is given to the type of apple used to make the cider. The food selection is mainly flatbread pizzas. I'm glad there was a gluten free crust available. I only tried the cheese one. Crust and cheese were good, but I wasn't too impressed with the sauce. Atmosphere is good, and they host D&D nights!! In the end, this place is better suited for grabbing drinks and then going elsewhere to dinner, or grabbing dinner elsewhere and then ending up at Locust Cider for drinks. I mean, pizza was okay, but you can get much better food in town center.

Yelp
I really enjoy Locust cider. There are plenty of rotating draft flavors to choose from. We choose to do a flight of 6. I did find it a bit pricey considering we are getting it straight from the source as opposed to a store. We also ordered some corn dogs since we hadn't eaten. They have a few snacks to order from. There are a few small tables and some do have games for you to play. If you are into trivia, they have trivia night every Saturday at 7pm.

Yelp
My friend & I tried this place the other day, we were looking for a place with a large cider menu, close by. Nice outside seating, had pet water bowls outside- bonus points. Great variety of ciders, pizza hot & delicious. Nice area.
google avatar

Rachel L.

Yelp
This place is a lot of fun. I tried a couple flights of ciders- my favorite was the Honey Pear but the Blanc and Vanilla Bean were a close second and third. They have all kinds of ciders from very sweet to very dry- get a flight to try a few! They also have a few beers and wines but I didn't try them. I also tried the pizzas that my party ordered and they were much better than I expected. The place is cute and small- but very empty and easy to find a table and get drinks when I visited. Best part? The Super Nintendo's on the wall that let you play games while you drink Cider. We spent a couple hours playing old school Donkey Kong. It was the most fun I have had in a while.
google avatar

Yelp
My friend and I came to Redmond town center to do some shopping on her birthday and we decided to stop here for a fun mid day break! The person who helped us was very friendly and helped us make some decisions on what ciders were popular for the season and what to try. We ended up both getting an individual pizza and shared a flight of ciders! The pizzas weren't huge but I really enjoyed mines. I ordered the Fort Worth pizza and it was so good, I liked the pork burnt ends and got dollops of BBQ sauce on top. For the ciders we had a couple favorites! (Not what we were expecting either because we both usually trend towards sweeter ciders) I'll also say that every one of these ciders was better than what you'll find in a store, there was no sharp after taste while drinking and it was honestly almost like the best juice you'll ever have. My two favorites were the Cherry Lime and the combo of Vanilla Bean/Dark Cherry. As I said they were all delicious, but these two were the most unique and I could really taste the flavors. I had a good experience here, and I could definitely see myself returning occasionally when I'm in the area!
google avatar

Drew B.

Yelp
Ever since I have moved to Redmond, I have heard a rumor that we were getting a Locust Cider... WAIT NO MORE! Obviously their ciders and beers are TOP KNOTCH this RTC location is perfectly positioned in the middle of the outdoor mall! Melissa, the taproom manager, is very knowledgeable, friendly, and on top, if not ahead, of the constantly changing COVID protocols! Thanks for being awesome!
google avatar

Alexia S.

Yelp
Shout out to Natalie for answering all the questions we had! She was patient and helpful. I'm not a huge cider person but this place has changed my view on cider! The space is small but has indoor and outdoor seating, we sat inside and the service was quick. We ordered a pepperoni pizza which was really good, and ordered a flight. I tried the honey pear, peach ginger, blackberry, and Original Dry. I really enjoyed the honey pear the best!

Timbo S.

Yelp
I was thoroughly impressed on all fronts. CC is accommodating as well as a breath of fresh air, and the recommendations were on point; I will be back soon with my dog to enjoy the cool atmosphere and maybe play some of the provided games. I would definitely bring the whole crew with me for a fun evening, as well as the good vibes. I would give a 10 if the ratings didn't max out at 5
google avatar

Connie O.

Yelp
I love this place. Great place to relax. I sat outside where I could do plenty of people watching on a lovely sunny day. Next time I go I want to sit inside to enjoy their old video game consoles. Customer service was great - you order up at the counter and they'll bring the food out to you. The ciders were absolutely lovely, my favorite was their honey pear.

Steven F.

Yelp
Don't walk, RUN away. Arrogant staff and horrible service even though the place was empty. I now see why. Cider & Brewing (though they only have 3 beers available. Sad.

Charise G.

Yelp
The flatbread pepperoni pizza was good, like the ambience and the two people handling the crowd were great. Service was great, because they looked happy. I would definitely come back. Had the Original dry, black Berry and berry blues. All really good but the smoked chili stone fruit caught my attention.
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
I'm not the biggest beer drinker, so having the amazingly flavorful options of cider and hard teas from this place was absolutely perfect. They have an awesome selection of incredibly flavorful cider. Brought the g/f along with and she enjoyed the sampler to try as many as possible. The Dark Cherry is my favorite, closely followed by the Peach or Blackberry. You really can't go wrong though, they're all amazing! The staff is incredibly helpful and super friendly, and the flatbread pizzas are really tasty. Plus the rotating food trucks they bring in always pair really well. These guys also offer 6-packs to go too! Would definitely recommend this place for a fun night with friends or family.
google avatar

Ajay N.

Yelp
I love right next to this place and I can't believe no one recommended it to me. I accidentally ended up going there for some late evening drinks and I was surprised for the options in ciders (I had a few stouts), quick bites and surprisingly a good collection of games to pick and play at the table!

Starla G.

Yelp
So glad I checked this place out! Great ciders, yummy flat breads, good music, board games and video games. Kind, personable, informative staff. Good indoor and outdoor seating. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and will be going back often. This is exactly what Redmond needed. Good times to be had here!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a cool location of Locust Cider! I went with a group of friends for a birthday. It was really nice that Locust offered some snacks/food on their menu as well as the ciders and beer! Pretty basic cider location with lots of cute merchandise and some outdoor seating as well.

Yelp
We've been really wanting to try Locust and never quite made it to the Woodinville location. I was really excited when this opened up. With all that has been going on, we never made it in until last weekend. They have a good variety of ciders on tap to try. We ordered a tasting flight of six and the hummus appetizer plate. The appetizer plate wasn't much of anything except a lot of bread (usually we have the opposite problem). Of course, the main purpose for being there was the ciders. Unfortunately, we found them a bit disappointing. Can't really put my finger on it. Except for a couple of great exceptions, they were a bit bland. I did enjoy the apricot habanero. Had to really search for the habanero flavor, but the apricot flavor really shone. Also enjoyed the blackcurrant for the same reason. Nice and tart. The lemon dill was lemony but no dill flavor at all. I can't remember the rest of the flavors at all although I did stick mostly with the drier varieties. We may come back to try some rotational flavors on occasion.

T D.

Yelp
Been here a few times. Have ordered the canned wine before and it's not worth drinking. They really could use more/better wine choices. Had the pizza recently and it was underwhelming as a pizza and cold in the middle. Not sure I'd recommend this place.

Hira W.

Yelp
To put it mildly this was disappointing. Very limited selection of ciders, and after trying a few the resemblance in the base of the cider makes the flavors taste minimal. Also basing your entire menu on naan bread and then delivering naan pizzas as the main offering was really a bummer. I hope they can take the time to diversify their offerings. They definitely need to do more.

Amanda B.

Yelp
It's nice that this place is one of the few opened during COVID, but certainly will not be spending my money here, their customer service needs work! The male with the glasses that works here must have not worked in a customer service job before, what a disappointment! The one in Woodenville is MUCH better!
