"In an ideal location in the heart of the old town, this restaurant has three areas: the main dining room with a view into the kitchen, a pleasantly secluded terrace and Le Balcon de l'Odas, a private lounge with a view of the cathedral. Suzanne Da Silva's bold seasonal cuisine highlights both her origins in the north of France and ingredients from Normandy's terroir: the vegetables come from a market gardener in the Eure, mussels from Mont-Saint-Michel, saffron from the Pays de Caux... and she puts it all to good use in a cleverly devised surprise set menu." - Michelin Inspector

From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere that was both elegant and welcoming. The service was impeccable — attentive without being intrusive, and delivered with genuine warmth that made us feel truly special. We chose the 5-course menu with paired wines, and it was an absolute triumph from start to finish. Each dish was a work of art — each dish was a masterpiece. Beautifully presented, with flavours that were perfectly balanced and thoughtfully composed. The wine pairings elevated the experience even further, each glass thoughtfully selected to complement and enhance the flavours on the plate. The setting itself added to the magic of the evening — refined, intimate, and with a touch of understated luxury. If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines artistry on the plate with flawless service and a wonderful atmosphere, L’ODAS is not to be missed.

Excellent food and service! Unique tastes that I wish I could taste again

Only 2 out of the 7 courses we ate were actually ‘Michelin worthy’. The rest of the food is average at best. A bit overpriced for the taste and experience.

We had a lovely meal here. After introducing ourselves, we were taken up to a sixth floor dining area with great views across the city and Tomas looked after us very well. There is a selection of tasting menus available, as well as some bonus courses. Several wine pairing offerings also available.

I rarely feel the need to review a restaurant, but l'odas is something else. We had the 7 course taster menu, with 5 course wine flight. Every course was impeccable, the scallop and mackerel courses in particular were out of this world. The food was as good if not better than the 2 and 3 star restaurants I have eaten at. The only tiny negative was that they were very busy as the service suffered slightly, but the staff were so nice and friendly it more than made up for this and would be unfair to call it a complaint. I visit France regularly, and from now on will make sure to detour through Rouen to eat here.

Wonderful diner!! Perfect service! Very professional sommelier! I can fully understand where the star comes from. Suzanne was alone, but she did a perfect job without the chef. Congratulations to the whole staff!!

Food was excellent as expected: very tasty, perfect portion size. Atmosphere on the 6th floor, overlooking the cathedral was magical. The only slight negative was the pace, too slow for our taste. We waited several time about 15min between 2 courses. Also, I would have liked to discuss with a sommelier to choose the wine. The rest was perfect. We’ll definitely come back and highly recommend L’Odas.

Out of the 5 courses 2 dishes were Michelin-worthy, the rest are average so seemingly overpriced. On top of this: one person in our group has serious gluten-allergy which we had announced in the reservation and upon entry. We had to send back 2 dishes (one with beer and one breaded dish). Basics that any chef should know. The kitchen seems to have an issue dealing with allergies, while the waiters are trying their best to explain the unexplainable… The bread they serve from the local boulangerie and the wine are good.

Yelp
Booked for this place on a Saturday night at 9:30pm Via Michelin restaurants website given that L'Odas was awarded 1 Michelin Star in 2018. We were the last table to arrive given the place was packed even with the outdoor seating available. We were a bit overdressed given most people were wearing casually. I even saw one person with shorts and a Hawaiian style shirt. Feel free to wear comfortable when you dine here. Although the menu had a lot of delicious option we opted to go with them 6 service tasting menu which included three appetizers, two main dishes and one dessert (70 euro per per. We though that the tasting menu will be based on the menu but almost all of the dishes were not on the menu! We started with foie gras, followed by blue lobster and then mussels with beans. All of the appetizers were delicious. For the main dishes we did blue lobster (again) and another fish dish. The cream that came with the blue lobster was delicious. Finally for dessert we were served with dark chocolate mint flavor. Surprising the mint flavor didn't ruin the sweetness of chocolate. Overall a must dine in if you are in Rouen.
